Net Messages in Azerbaijan from President Erdoğan: It will be the Caucasus Peace Center
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the session of the summit hosted by Azerbaijan with the theme of the Vision of the New Economic Cooperation Organization for a Sustainable and Resistant Future for Climate Change “. President Erdoğan adds additional strength to our struggle with climate change. Since the beginning of the project, we have avoided approximately 6 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions. “
President Erdoğan’s statements are as follows:
The arrangement of our meeting in a city that has been freed from the occupation gives a special importance and meaning to our summit. With the visionary approach of my inspiration, I sincerely believe that this ancient city will be the new center of development and peace of the Caucasus.
I hope that today’s consultations and forums on women, youth and businesses that have been carried out since July 1 will be instrumental in good for our countries and region. I find it extremely accurate to focus on the climate change of this summit of our organization, which has a wide range of potential.
We are one of the regions where the negative effects of the climate crisis are felt most intensely. It is particularly important for all member states to contribute to the vision of sustainable development that centers climate change.

“We have risen to 11 places in the world”
As Türkiye, we are transforming our key sectors towards reaching the net zero emission for 2053 and realizing our vision of green development. In particular, with our innovative initiatives in the field of energy, we increased the share of renewable energy in total installed power to 59 percent. With this, we rose to fifth in Europe and 11 in the world.
With our National Energy Efficiency Action Plan, which covers the years 2024-2030, we envision to reduce the equivalent of 100 million tons of carbon dioxide.
Our Climate Law was accepted in our parliament the day before. Under the auspices of my wife Emine Erdoğan, the “zero waste” project, which has been moved to a global level, adds additional strength to our struggle with climate change. Since the beginning of the project, we have avoided approximately 6 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
Hopefully, when our hosting of the United Nations Climate Change 31st Parties Conference is approved, we will endeavor to make a fair sustainable transparent and involvement approach among the developed and developing countries.
“We do not leave the Palestinian case”
The aggressive policies that Israel accelerated threaten the peace of our region. We must work to stop the atrocities as soon as possible. Israel’s attack on the Palestinian people lies in the background of Israel’s attacks on Syria and Iran. Attacks on Iran are unacceptable. Nor can we remain silent for the Netanyahu government to turn our region into a bloodbath. The stage in Syria is a light of hope for the region. We don’t leave the Palestinian cause.
I am conveying my condolences to my Pakistani brothers because of a abominant terrorist act. I would like to emphasize the value we attribute to our unity and solidarity. I greet Mr. Ersin Tatar with my most heartfelt feelings. I expect you to improve your relationships with Turkish Cypriots with various fields.

Minister Kurum announced by giving a date: Project that will reduce rents in Istanbul! Will be delivered in September
“WE ARE WALKING UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN”
Stating that new residences were built in a wide area with the works carried out after the earthquake in Adıyaman, and the city was made safer and stronger with tens of thousands of buildings, Kurum stated that they settled citizens in their homes in Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Adana, Osmaniye, Elazığ and Kilis.
The institution stated that Türkiye, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is the will that transformed the disaster of the century into the construction campaign of the century, and said, “While there is an understanding in the USA and Germany that leaves its citizens to the mercy of the insurance company when a disaster occurs, Turkey is now number one in the world in fast and high-quality post-disaster housing production and urban transformation experience. The disaster of the century has clearly demonstrated what our state and nation can achieve when they work shoulder to shoulder.” he said.
“URBAN TRANSFORMATION IS NOT AN ISSUE THAT CAN BE POSTPONED”
The institution stated that the contributions of non-governmental organizations shape the process and emphasized that a strong state and a strong society complement each other.
Kurum emphasized that all institutions were on the field during the disaster and the wounds were healed together, and that the houses in Ödemiş and Sındırgı were about to be completed.
The institution stated that the work is not limited to the earthquake zone only and said:
“To date, we have built 1 million 767 thousand houses within the scope of social housing projects and provided approximately 7 million citizens with solid, safe and modern homes. However, we did not stop there. We wanted to spread our experience in the construction of the century to 81 provinces and started the Housing Project of the Century, the largest social housing move in the history of our Republic. We continue our work with the target of 500 thousand social houses in our 81 provinces. We have drawn our lots and laid the foundations of many of our houses, hopefully in 2027. “We will start handing over the keys in March.”
Pointing out that they will implement the rental housing application in Istanbul for the first time with this project, Kurum stated that he sees this application as very important in balancing rental prices.
The institution said, “We will deliver our rental houses to our citizens in need in September. With our social housing, we not only make our citizens own houses at affordable prices, but also provide our nation with solid homes in our country that lives with the reality of earthquakes. We continue our urban transformation work rapidly to make our cities resistant to disasters. Urban transformation is not a choice. Urban transformation is not a luxury. Urban transformation is not an issue that can be postponed at all.” he said.
Stating that millions of houses have been transformed with this understanding, Kurum said, “Our goal is not only to renew risky structures. Our goal is to build safer, more resilient, more environmentally friendly and more livable cities in the Turkey Century.” He said his words.
“BOTH OUR ENVIRONMENT AND OUR ECONOMY WILL WIN WITH THE DOA MACHINES TO BE INSTALLED AS OF JULY 1”
The institution continued its speech by emphasizing that efforts are continuing for safer, more resilient and sustainable cities, and that the Zero Waste Movement is an important example of this understanding:
“Zero Waste is a strong civilization approach that centers on the fight against waste, efficient use of resources, environmental awareness and sustainable development. Now, we are moving Zero Waste to a new stage, we are implementing our Deposit Management System. With the DOA machines that will be installed in our 81 provinces as of July 1, both our environment and our economy will win. You will throw the bottles into the machines, and 1 lira from each bottle will be deposited in your wallets. The bottles collected here will also be recycled and recycled. “We are not just talking about an individual application. Market chains, supermarkets, grocery stores, buffets, hotels, restaurants and cafes throughout Turkey will also be a part of this system. Thanks to this system, we will recycle approximately 25 billion pieces of packaging every year, making a direct contribution of approximately 30 billion lira to the economy.”
Stating that the world’s largest summit, COP31, which will be hosted by Türkiye and host 197 countries this year, will be held in Antalya, Kurum stated that work is continuing in line with the “2053 Net Zero Emission” target.
The institution said, “The fight against climate change is now at the center of not only environmental policies, but also development, investment, trade and urbanization. For this reason, we want COP31 to turn into a strong ground that brings together public institutions, local governments, academia, private sector and civil society around common goals. We especially attach great importance to our business world and non-governmental organizations being one of the most important stakeholders of this process.” he said.
Stating that all services provided are the result of President Erdoğan’s determined will, Kurum said, “With the will of our President, while we transform Istanbul with one hand, our other hand will be in Gaza and Syria. We will be with our brothers waiting for us to lend a helping hand there.” he said.
Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge Dissemination Foundation, Davut Gül, Governor of Istanbul, representatives of the National Will Platform and non-governmental organizations attended the meeting.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said, “We see that the Trump administration has an extremely positive approach towards Türkiye. We see that the positive relationship at the leadership level is also reflected in the relations between the countries.” he said.
TERRORISM-FREE Türkiye PROCESS!
Cevdet Yılmaz Törsüz regarding the Türkiye process and the legal regulation works said, “There is an effort to make it happen in time for this period. This law will come to the Parliament. It will take its final form with discussions in the commission and the general assembly.” he said.
Vice President Yılmaz said, “We see that the Trump administration has an extremely positive approach towards Türkiye. We see that the positive relationship at the leadership level is also reflected in the relations between the countries.” he used his words.
‘WE HAVE MANY FILES WITH AMERICA’
Cevdet Yılmaz pointed out that the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara will be one of the most important and interesting meetings in the history of NATO and said, “It will also be an important platform in terms of bilateral relations between the USA and Turkey. Both our President and Mr. Trump made positive statements about the bilateral meeting. We have quite a file with America. There have been a lot of problem areas accumulated recently. There are resolved ones. Therefore, there are important topics in the USA-Turkey relations. Especially CATSA sanctions. A positive development regarding Halk Bank.” “We continue our work on other sanctions. We see that the Trump administration has an extremely positive approach towards Türkiye. We see that the positive relationship, especially at the leadership level, is also reflected in the relations between the countries,” he said.
‘WE MAKE OUR PREPARATION IN OUR OWN KITCHEN’
Yılmaz, regarding the new constitution works, said, “The new constitution is our common desire. This is not a job that one party can do. As the People’s Alliance, we do not have the majority to change the constitution. It is an issue that we need to solve by coming together with other parties in the Parliament. We are calling here too, it is necessary to negotiate with principles, not with clenched fists. With this understanding, we are shaping our policy approaches to various issues in the constitution, not in the form of rigid articles, but in the form of approaches. We want to be ready when a climate is formed tomorrow with these approaches. Mr. President, under my chairmanship “We have held more than 20 meetings there. We are making this preparation in our own kitchen. We can say that our work is more or less complete. We have to look at the future of the new constitution. It is very important for young people to participate in the process.”
‘WE DISCUSS EVERY ISSUE’
Regarding whether there is any work on President Erdoğan’s candidacy in the new constitution studies, Yılmaz said, “We are not doing a specific study. We are working on the constitution in general. We discuss every issue within this study, of course. When the study is completed, we will present it to our President. Of course, we will meet with other parties.”
‘HE HAS EFFORTS TO REACH THIS PERIOD’
Regarding the legal regulation regarding the Terror-Free Turkey process, Yılmaz said, “There is an effort to catch up with this period. The closing date of the Parliament is not very clear. It is like the end of July. If necessary, it can be extended a little longer. Therefore, it is up to the will of the Parliament. This law will come to the Parliament. It will take its final form with discussions in the Commission and the General Assembly. It is an issue that is within the will of the Parliament. On the one hand, they say, ‘Leave the weapons, come, let’s make the necessary arrangements.’ The organization says, ‘I will leave it, but what kind of legal framework will it face? “There seems to be a need for legal engineering work here. In a sense, it will be an approach that will meet these two situations within the same law. What will be dealt with legally will be determined, but its implementation will be subject to certain conditions and a timetable,” he said.
On the question about the status of the leader of the terrorist organization, Abdullah Öcalan, Yılmaz said, “The focus of the legal work is clear at the moment. The organization will dissolve itself, lay down its weapons, and act within the main framework of the Parliamentary commission regarding the different groups here.”
‘PROVOCATION FOR ARMENIA-AZERBAIJAN PEACE’
Responding to the question about the Israeli Foreign Minister’s offer to recognize the Armenian genocide, Yilmaz said, “We cannot accept this approach as a matter of course, it is an unacceptable approach. It is clear why Israel is making such attempts. These are efforts that try to cover up their own genocide, their own crimes. No matter what they do, what happened in Gaza happened in front of the eyes of all humanity. It has gone down in history, it has been recorded, and it will never be forgotten. What happened in Gaza will never be forgotten.” “It will not be forgotten. We will continue to see the consequences of this in the conscience of humanity, both in the short term and in the long term. This can also be considered as a provocation towards peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and normalization with Turkey,” he said.
