In commemoration of the 104th anniversary of Türkiye’s national anthem, students from an elementary school in İzmir have honored the occasion inclusively by reciting the first two stanzas of the Turkish national anthem (İstiklal Marşı), written by poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy, in sign language.

Guided by their teacher, Sema Eraltuğ, an educator with 27 years of experience, 36 third-grade students from Urla Atatürk Elementary School dedicated three months to learning the anthem.
Expressing her long-held aspiration to introduce sign language to her students, Eraltuğ remarked, “I have always wanted children to learn sign language. Beyond fostering empathy for individuals with disabilities, it enhances cognitive, sensory and perceptual skills.”
She shared that learning a second language at a young age increases children’s awareness and ability to empathize.
“Many people lack empathy, but by acquiring sign language, these children are developing a deeper understanding of individuals with disabilities.”
Meanwhile, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commemorated the anniversary of the Turkish national anthem through a statement shared on social media.

In his message, Erdoğan hailed the anthem as the ultimate expression of Turkish patriotism, resilience and determination.
“As we have in the past, we will continue to honor the ideals embodied in our national anthem. On this 104th anniversary, I extend my deepest respects to Mehmet Akif Ersoy and to all the heros who sacrified their lives for our nation’s freedom,” he said.
“As a poet and fervent patriot, he immortalized our nation’s spirit in his words,” Erdoğan added, emphasizing that March 12, 1921, was not merely the date of an anthem’s adoption but a testament to a nation’s rebirth and struggle for independence.

The 55th ordinary general assembly of the Science Dissemination Foundation was held
The 55th Ordinary General Assembly of the Science Dissemination Foundation was held in the foundation building in Fatih. Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge Dissemination Foundation, former Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop, Baykar Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Constitutional Court Members, foundation managers, members and guests attended the General Assembly. The general assembly started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. He then continued with a recital prepared by university students.

BİLAL ERDOĞAN: “WE ARE AN EXAMPLE STRUCTURE FOR OUR OTHER FOUNDATIONS IN TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT”
Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Science Dissemination Foundation, stated that the foundation is an exemplary structure for other foundations and said, “Of course, we need to fight a little more about the quality of human resources in non-governmental organizations in Türkiye. For example, we often have difficulty in employing our brothers and sisters whom we raised in our country or to whom we give scholarships. We say at least; let this be the first step of your career. Work with us for 4-5 years, then go to other places.” “We say, but we have come to a point where we can set an example for our other foundations in terms of personnel, thank God,” he said.
Stating that the sense of belonging of the Ilim Yayma Foundation employees is high, Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Ilim Yayma Foundation Board of Trustees, said, “Working at the Ilim Yayma Foundation is no longer behind working in other similar institutions. Thank God, our employees’ sense of belonging to our institution is high in this sense.”

WE RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM OUR GRADUATES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FOUNDATION DORMITORY
Stating that they received support from the graduates in the construction of the foundation dormitory, Erdoğan said, “Therefore, we started to demolish and rebuild the undergraduate dormitory here in the year 73, when this foundation was founded. Last time, we received support from our graduates while building this place. There are names in the rooms. We said for each room, a maximum of 5 graduates, we determined an amount under the conditions of that time, we can divide it by 5 and place their names on the door of the room. In addition, our students will be familiar with those names when entering and exiting the rooms and walking around the dormitory.” Let them win. Look at who came and passed; they support us and contribute to the construction of this building. Then, we want them to support those who come after them and gain the same spirit. Now, our graduates can share a room among themselves by giving 500 thousand Turkish Liras. Apart from that, our graduates will be able to give less than 100 thousand liras, as we do here. “They will be able to give more than 500 thousand Turkish liras. We will make a separate memorial corner for them and thank them with their names,” he said.
Stating that Türkiye has a stable structure, Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan said, “We are going through bad times. Times that are complex, times that do not lead people to very optimistic scenarios about the future of the world. In the history of the world, whether in modern times or pre-modern times, when so many worlds are mixed up, it has never been worse. Therefore, we cannot say ‘humanity will come to its senses, come together in one place, act with such common sense and get these things together’; we really cannot believe it. The world is heading for such a pit.” “As we move forward, it is of course very valuable that Türkiye can maintain itself as an island of stability under the leadership of our President and that it is working to reduce this tension in the region,” he said.

“THERE SHOULD BE UNITY AND COOPERATION IN SOCIETY”
Stating that there should be unity and solidarity in society, Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan said, “We must continue this march in unity; the conditions in our country really make it obligatory for us to strengthen our unity. How will we establish that unity? Each of us has to make the effort and sacrifice we can to establish that unity in our own people, our own communities, our own families. Otherwise, this ring of fire, this pit of hell will cause great destruction to this country. We “We will be stronger, both to be safe and to establish a certain order in the world and in our region. I thank you all very much, thank you.”

SELÇUK BAYRAKTAR: “WHEN THE WORLD IS SAID TO BE PLAIN, IT GET WORSE EVERY YEAR”
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayrak Holding, said that he was happy to be together with young people in the program he attended, and said that there are people and groups that create evil in the world.
Selçuk Bayraktar said, “Whenever we think that the world will be on the level, it gets worse with each passing year. The more some people get horny, the more they destroy. Here, some people strive to prevent the commandments of goodness and evil, just as our faith commands us. It is clear that the agendas we have passed over in the past days have narrowed my soul like this. Our brothers here and this environment have actually opened a window. Indeed, “They gave me the opportunity to breathe, reminding me how temporary we are, how real the divine is, and that all of this is a game and entertainment in time and place. In that sense, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our president and all the staff for organizing this organization,” he said.
“May God grant me to settle accounts with those who TORTURED BABIES BY SMOKING on them and those who tried to take their lives”
Selçuk Bayraktar, who said that he wanted to fight against those who oppress babies and children and become a martyr, said, “I would also like to express this; of course, from the moment the word comes out of your mouth, you become its slave, and every word we say binds us all. And for years, I have tried to pay particular attention to what I say and what I express. Yes, words carry responsibility like actions, and words carry responsibility like actions. Every day, darker, more terrible images come before me; I try to be as patient as possible, Even though we strive to expand our efforts to spread goodness and beauty to the world, my wish is this: I hope that God Almighty will one day grant us the opportunity to come to terms with those who tortured 18-month-old babies by smoking cigarettes, and those who tried to take the lives of little children. I hope that He will guide us on the paths that will lead to a reckoning with them. I would like to express that being a martyr on my behalf would be the greatest honor. “I want it. Thank you, thank you,” he said.

President’s ATM lovers – Breaking News
Within the framework of the corruption investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, proceedings were initiated against the suspects, including CHP’s Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım (57), for the crimes of “Bribery”, “Extortion” and “Tender Rigging”. 12 suspects, including Yalım, were detained in the operation carried out simultaneously in the provinces of Uşak, Ankara and Kocaeli. While it was claimed that Uşak Municipality made repeated invoices in company tenders and took the difference as a bribe, it was determined that pressure was put on Yalın’s family members to be given a partnership in the company in the new businesses to be established, otherwise the tender would not be awarded. On the other hand, it was determined that the mayor, his deputies and senior managers in the municipality went to entertainment venues, and the expenses there were paid from the municipal budget through the food bill.

HE COULD NOT RECEIVE A BRIBE, HE WAS PUNISHED
It was determined that Özkan Yalım listed the employees of his own Yalım Garden as municipal staff and paid their insurance through the municipality. In addition, the corrupt mayor, who demanded 10 vehicles from the shopping mall owner and businessman EA on behalf of the municipality, learned that he could buy a maximum of 3 vehicles, had the shopping mall sealed, saying it was against the legislation, and was fined 65 million lira. During the investigation, it was determined that the deputy mayors collected money under the name of aid/donation to the Uşakspor Club and that these money were brought to Yalım’s office and delivered to the private secretary. It was revealed that Uşak Mayor’s Private Secretary Hasan Doğukan Kurnaz was the president of Uşakspor Club, from whom he collected bribe money under the name of ‘donation’ in January 2025. The statement that Kurnaz, who handed over his duty in June of the same year, said that he was appointed as the club president at the discretion of the mayor, came to mind again.

HE TRANSFERRED HIS ASSET TO HIS DRIVER
It was revealed that Özkan Yalım transferred the goods he acquired thanks to bribe money to his driver Cihan Aras in 2025, with the concern that they would be confiscated during the operation. In addition, it was learned that Yalım, who is married and the father of 3 children, had 2 lovers, and it was determined that the woman named AA was employed by the municipality in 2024 in a high-paid position, but did not actually work, and SA was a municipal employee. The prosecutor’s office determined that there was intense communication traffic between the relevant persons and common base records regarding the relevant dates.

In MASAK reports, it was determined that there were large amounts of money movements in the suspects’ accounts, the source of which could not be determined. It was evaluated that there was a discrepancy between the financial and professional profiles of the financial transactions. In the operation carried out yesterday morning, Özkan Yalım was caught with his 21-year-old girlfriend SA in a hotel in Ankara. The young woman, who had no hotel registration, was detained upon instruction. It was learned that his other lover AA was detained in Kocaeli. During the detention process, Yalım opened the door wrapped in a towel and asked the police for permission to change. Afterwards, Yalım opened his password and handed over his phone to the teams entering the room. However, during the search, a second phone belonging to Yalım was found hidden in SA’s underwear. The phone, which was thought to contain evidence regarding the events subject to investigation, was taken by the teams.
