Bilal Erdoğan’s call for the January 1 Gaza march: We do not cower, we do not remain silent
The strongest reaction to Gaza, which has been subjected to systematic genocide by the “terrorist state” Israel since October 7, 2023, is again rising from Anatolian lands. Turkish people will come together on the Galata Bridge on the first morning of the new year and say “Stop the Oppression” against the occupying force, which continues to bomb civilian settlements despite the so-called ceasefire declarations.
THE CORTEGES WILL DEPARTURE AFTER THE MORNING PRAYER
According to the event plan, participants will meet at the symbolic mosques of Istanbul at 08.30 on the morning of January 1. Giant corteges will be formed after the morning prayers to be performed in the Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Suleymaniye and New Mosque. Simultaneously, tens of thousands of people will march to the Galata Bridge with the participation of groups from Fatih and Taksim mosques.

BİLAL ERDOĞAN: “WE DO NOT CORRECT, WE DO NOT LET PALESTINE BE FORGOTTEN”
TÜGVA High Advisory Board Member Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, who made important statements before the march, emphasized Türkiye’s determination in this just cause with the following words:
“We do not cower. We do not remain silent. We do not forget Palestine and we do not let it be forgotten. Because although a ceasefire is mentioned, we know that this ceasefire is not implemented on the ground.”
Bilal Erdoğan used the following statements in his statement:
“The genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza is entering its 3rd year in Gaza. We are coming together on the Galata Bridge on the morning of January 1, as we have for the last 2 years, to show our stance against this oppression.
We are not cowed. We don’t keep silent. We do not forget Palestine and do not let it be forgotten. Because although a ceasefire is mentioned, we know that this ceasefire is not implemented on the field.
We know that Israel can act irresponsibly and kill as many people as it wants and carry out operations whenever it wants, while humanitarian aid still does not enter Gaza as much as it should.
On the other hand, we know that attacks by civilian settlers on Palestinians in the West Bank have increased more than at any other time in history.
That’s why we are waiting for all our citizens, from 7 to 70, to come to Galata Bridge at 08.30 on the morning of January 1 to say “Have mercy on our martyrs and support Palestine”. “

Protecting the environment is patriotic awareness – Last Minute News
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the “Cemre Foundation Promotion Program” held at Atatürk Cultural Center: I congratulate the Cemre Foundation, which started as a civil society movement in 2021 and turned into a corporate structure last year.
When it comes to the environment and combating disasters, ‘Who is there?’ When it is said; You represent millions of soldiers who say ‘I am’ without looking to the right or left. Therefore, I hereby respectfully salute you, my young friends, and all the responsible young people of Türkiye, whose sparkle in your eyes warms my heart and raises my hopes for the future. I feel great pleasure to be with you, who I believe will be in the 81 provinces of our country today and all over the world tomorrow. Walking with you is my greatest pride and happiness. When I look at you, my young brothers, I see not only the determination to flourish and keep Türkiye alive; At the same time, I see the heirs of a civilization that protects the rights of wolves and birds, mountains and stones, air and water. When I look at you, I see a sensitivity that speaks the same language as nature; I see a subtlety whose essence leads to truth and reality. When I look at you, I see the depth of perception in Aşık Veysel, who transformed our culture’s connection with existence into art by saying ‘My faithful half is black soil’.

When I look at you, I see not only the ambassadors of the heart who grow up like Hızır in natural disasters, but also a high sense of responsibility who feels responsible for the future of the world and makes helping those in need a lifestyle. When I look at you, I see the yeast of awakening and resurrection that no denial, alienation, or cultural erosion can erase from the hearts and minds of our nation, and the will to bring this to life. When I look at you, I see the manifestation of the values that make us a nation. Protecting the environment is patriotic consciousness.
We have carried out very important work on the environment since we became the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. We took care of ‘garbage, potholes and mud’. We turned the Golden Horn, which was discussed to be filled with soil due to bad smell, into the pearl of the Bosphorus again.
Today, the whole world is on the verge of serious challenges regarding the environment and climate. We are in a period when we need to increase our efforts on the environment and mobilize more people, especially young people. We increased the share of renewable energy in total installed power to 62 percent. We have made a revolution in terms of afforestation.
LAFTA ENVIRONMENTALISTS ARE CUTTING OLIVE TREES IN MILAS
When it comes to words, those who claim to be environmentalists but massacre olive trees in Milas and condemn the cities they rule to garbage, mud and pits; We will not allow the exploiters, who make our nation suffer without water for weeks in the middle of winter, to make our heavenly homeland uninhabitable, sometimes due to their incompetence and sometimes due to their extreme desire for profit. We never engage in political discrimination in environmental projects. We sincerely support every step and every idea that protects the environment, beautifies nature and contributes to our efforts in this field.
ZERO WASTE HAS BECOME A GLOBAL MOVEMENT
The Zero Waste Project, carried out under the auspices of my wife Emine Erdoğan, has now turned into a global environmental movement. The concept of zero waste forms the basis of our environmental projects. This movement teaches us that when we recycle a plastic bottle, we do not just dispose of waste; We also save the life of a creature, the beauty of a beach, and the hope of a child. When we save a tree, we also secure the breath of a generation. Now we are preparing to take all these efforts to the next level. As a result of diplomatic negotiations, we hosted COP 31. This year, we will host nearly 200 countries in Antalya, and hopefully we will say, “It is time for action, not words.”

Iftar with the KAYACIK FAMILY
President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan were guests of Ali and Miyase Kayacık family at iftar dinner in Istanbul Beyoğlu last night. I wish health, peace and abundance in their household.”

Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Science Dissemination Foundation, who attended the meeting, said in his speech that the students supported by the foundation should not be modest but their goals should be global. We are trying to raise and educate very good scientists who will keep Fuat Sezgin’s legacy alive in the academic community, carry it to further levels, and convey his basic message to the masses.” At the 16th Ordinary Board of Trustees Meeting of the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Islamic Science History Research Foundation, held at Darülaceze, Mecit Çetinkaya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Board of Directors of the foundation, was re-elected as president.

Important step from MHP against violence
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) rolled up its sleeves to prevent violence in social life, education and health. The studies of the commission, which included academics and field professionals from the fields of law, psychology, political science, philosophy, economics and health, were collected in the book “Combatting Individual and Social Violence”, together with field examples. MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter noted that the commission of 22 people worked for 4 months for the book. In the foreword of the book, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli’s evaluation was included. Pointing out that the increase in individual and social violence has reached alarming levels, Bahçeli said, “Crimes committed against our little children, murders, rapes becoming normal, attacks nestled in life, cases of violence, lines of fight and polarization extending from the family to the society in general are a suffocating ball of problems that need immediate intervention and require an emergency action plan.”

GOOD CONDUCT RECOMMENDATION
In the book, it was suggested that people who have completed the minimum period in prison should not automatically be considered to be of good behavior, and that they should benefit from conditional release if they are deemed to be truly reformed. The book also included a recommendation to establish a board to prevent individual and social violence.

Bilal Erdoğan: “The goals of the students supported by the foundation should be global”
TRNC PRIME MINISTER ÜNAL ÜSTEL: “TODAY’S TURKEY’S DEFENSE INDUSTRY HAS REACHED THE STRONGEST LEVEL OF THE LAST THREE CENTURIES, NOT OF THE REPUBLICAN ERA”
TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that today’s Turkey has reached the strongest level not only of the Republic period, but also of the last three centuries, in foreign policy, defense industry and many parameters, and said, “Today, I would like to commemorate and pray for the blessings of our late teacher Fuat Sezgin, who devoted his life to Islamic civilization. He believed that Islamic civilization was the building block of world civilization and led us all on this path. He believed that there was nothing that the Islamic faith could not achieve with the necessary self-confidence. He knew what we did in the past and today and today.” He had full faith that we could do it in the future. These are the days that prove his theses in many ways. I would like to especially underline the strong vision that the Republic of Turkey has put forward in recent years, in terms of foreign policy, defense industry and many parameters, not only in the Republic period, but also in the last three centuries. Our state’s effectiveness, deterrence and reputation in the international arena are historic. “Today, we are talking about a Türkiye that has surpassed not only the Republic period but also the three-century period from the Ottoman Empire to today. The strongest Turkey of the last 300 years is being built during the period of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,” he said. Following the speeches, the agenda items were discussed at the meeting, while the foundation’s activity report, financial statements and new term budget were discussed, board elections and administrative issues were also discussed. The night continued with iftar dinner.
