CHP embraces FETO’s troll accounts

Published

on

In CHP, the “Presidential Candidate Office” social media page, which was reportedly opened in the name of Ekrem İmamoğlu, did not receive the expected attention, causing controversy in the party backstage.

Following the reactions of people close to İmamoğlu, it was claimed that accounts, many of which were known to belong to FETO members in the past, were purchased by paying millions under the coordination of Deputy Chairman Özgür Karabat.

MILLIONS WERE PAID

It was learned that accounts such as “Siyahserit1, Daily Türkist, Zaytung, Social Opposition, Wake Up Service”, many of which were known to be FETO members in the past, were purchased through Kerem Yıldırım, the owner of Mag Üniversal, which handles the communication and public relations of many CHP municipalities.

Another topic that stands out behind the scenes is social media and survey studies. Allegedly, various digital studies were carried out through Kerem Yıldırım during this process.

While it is claimed that high amounts of invoices were issued in this context, a monthly invoice of approximately 2.1 million TL paid to the CHP Headquarters only for the social media item is discussed. It is also claimed that Kerem Yıldırım provided services to the headquarters with different survey studies and that he contacted some municipalities and attempted to create a budget for social media projects.
