Clear message from Türkiye: Israel is responsible for the crisis
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan attended the meeting held the other day in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where the latest regional developments were discussed. In addition to Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Pakistan, Syria and Jordan were represented here. In the joint statement issued after the meeting, Iran’s attacks with ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Jordan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye were condemned. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Iran’s attacks on the Gulf countries. Attacks carried out by the USA and Israel were not the subject of the meeting.

ATTACKS DISTURBED
Attacks on Riyadh before the meeting started further disturbed the Gulf countries. Gulf countries are disturbed that Iran targets them and wants to use them as a means of blackmail against the USA. Türkiye has said on every platform and on every occasion that Israel is the main responsible for the crisis. In the joint text adopted, Israel’s aggression against Lebanon and its expansionist policies in the region were also condemned. Türkiye added this issue to the statement. It pointed out Israel’s expansionist policies as the real responsible for the war.
HE SHOULD BE PREVENTED FROM COVERING HIS CRIMES
Foreign Minister Fidan was received yesterday by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Thani. Fidan, who also visited the Qatar-Turkish Combined Joint Force Command Headquarters, gave the following messages at the joint press conference he held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al Thani: “While rejecting all actions targeting neighboring geographies, Israel’s attempts to whitewash its own crimes and occupying policies, fed by the instability in the region, behind the curtain of this regional conflict created should never be allowed. These attacks and escalation, which will cause permanent fractures that are difficult to repair between the countries of the region, must be stopped immediately.”

18 thousand 860 children benefited from the Child Support Program
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that 18 thousand 860 children have benefited from the Anka Child Support Program since 2014. The program is implemented to ensure the psychosocial recovery of traumatized children and strengthen their social adaptation. Within the scope of the program carried out within the Specialized Children’s Homes Site (İÇES), the rehabilitation process is planned taking into account the individual needs of the children. While a counselor is assigned to each child admitted to the institution, an Individual Needs and Risk Assessment Form (BIRDEF) is filled out within the first 10 days. With this evaluation, the child’s social, psychological and family situation is analyzed and appropriate support mechanisms are put into action. Program; It consists of individual counseling, group studies, family support services and crisis intervention processes. Group studies are carried out in 78 sessions under 5 headings, each session lasting 45 minutes. In addition, through work with families, parenting skills are strengthened and child-family relationships are supported. As a result of the evaluations made every three months, the service process of the children is replanned. The program aims for the healthy development of children with its reward-oriented approach and versatile support system.

New term student applications continue for DENEYAP Technology Workshops operating throughout Türkiye. Students interested in technology can apply until March 30. With workshops, students will have the opportunity to receive applied training in areas such as design, production and software. The new term student recruitment process continues for DENEYAP Technology Workshops, which were implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, TUBITAK and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Applications for the program, which aims to train competent individuals in the field of technology throughout Türkiye, can be made until March 30.
Within the scope of the program, it is aimed to introduce students to technology development processes at an early age and to strengthen their production-oriented thinking skills. For the new semester, 4th and 5th grade, 8th grade, high school preparatory and 9th grade students will be able to apply.
Students who successfully complete all stages will have the right to participate in the 3-year free training program at DENEYAP Technology Workshops.

New science base from Bayraktar – Last Minute News
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of Baykar, one of the leading companies in Türkiye’s defense industry, made important contacts in his hometown Trabzon, where he came for Ramadan Feast.
Following the Özdemir Bayraktar Science Center brought to the city, Bayraktar started work on a second science center, this time in Sürmene district. At the same time, Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and Chairman of the Board of TEKNOFEST, examined the area planned for the implementation of the new project on site.

Previous science center project; It was implemented in cooperation with Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, Ministry of Industry and Technology, TÜBİTAK, Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA) and T3 Foundation. Bayraktar’s ancestral land, Sürmene, was chosen as the new address.
In his statement regarding the visit, Sürmene Mayor Hüseyin Azizoğlu emphasized that the project is of great importance for young people. Azizoğlu said, “We were honored to host the precious children of the late Özdemir Bayraktar, the pioneer of the National Technology Move, the pride of our country, Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar, and our precious lady, Ms. Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar, in our district.

We examined our Science Center project, which we plan to bring to Sürmene, on site and held fruitful consultations on the content and vision of the project. “We continue to shape this important step together that will shed light on the future of our young people,” he said.

Farewell to the martyrs – Breaking News
ASELSAN technicians Süleyman Cemre Kahraman and İsmail Enes Can, who were martyred in a helicopter crash during a training activity in Qatar, were sent off on their final journey with a ceremony held in Ankara. A ceremony was held for the martyrs at Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque following the noon prayer. Can was buried in Güdül district Salihler Village cemetery, and Kahraman was buried in Cebeci Martyrdom. The body of Major Sinan Taştekin will be buried in the Can Bulat Martyrdom after the afternoon prayer in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus today.

PARTICIPATION IN THE FUNERAL CEREMONY WAS INTENSE

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN
President Erdoğan also shared a post after the accident and said, “I pray for God’s mercy on our heroic soldier who was martyred in this tragic accident, our ASELSAN personnel, our friend and brother Qatar soldiers, and I express my condolences to their families. My condolences to our country, our nation and the people of Qatar.” Minister Yaşar Güler shared a post with photos of the martyrs. Martyr İsmail Enes Can was buried in Güdül district Salihler Village Cemetery, and martyr Süleyman Cemre Kahraman was buried in Cebeci Martyrdom.
MAJOR TAŞTEKIN WILL BE BURIED IN FAMAGUSTA TODAY
Major Sinan Taştekin’s funeral will be held in Northern Cyprus today. It was learned that the martyr will be buried in Can Bulat Martyrdom in Famagusta, following the afternoon prayer.

Culture and tourism cooperation between Türkiye and North Macedonia is getting stronger
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy met with Minister of Culture and Tourism of North Macedonia Zoran Ljutkov in Ankara. During the meeting held at Ankara Republic Museum, topics regarding the protection of cultural heritage, increasing artistic collaborations and developing cooperation in the field of tourism were evaluated.
STRONG TIES BETWEEN Türkiye AND THE BALKANS WERE EMPHASIS
Minister Ersoy emphasized the ties between Türkiye and the Balkans during the meeting and said, “In addition to historical and cultural ties, we also have many familial ties between Türkiye and the Balkans.” Ersoy pointed out the importance of multifaceted relations with the Balkan geography.
Ersoy also touched upon the tourism potential of the two countries and continued as follows:
“While Skopje, Ohrid, Monastir and other historical centers have a strong attraction potential for Turkish visitors with their Ottoman period heritage, multi-layered cultural texture and natural beauties, Turkey also offers visitors from North Macedonia extensive opportunities in terms of history, culture, faith, gastronomy, health and sea tourism.”
CULTURAL COOPERATION AND JOINT PROJECTS WERE DISCUSSED
Reminding that they paid a visit to Skopje on April 7, 2023, Ersoy emphasized that they signed the Cultural Cooperation Agreement between the two countries within the framework of this visit and that this agreement is an important tool for sustaining, protecting and promoting common cultural values.

Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the traffic balance of the Eid holiday
In the statement made on the social media account of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was said: “According to the data of the General Directorate of Security and the Gendarmerie General Command, a total of 2 thousand 753 traffic accidents occurred throughout the country during the four-day Eid al-Fitr holiday. In the accidents that occurred, a total of 31 citizens lost their lives, 8 on the first day of the holiday, 12 on the second day, 4 on the third day and 7 on the fourth day. 4 thousand 861 of our citizens were injured in the same accidents.”
“LOSS OF LIVES DECREASED BY 39.5 PERCENT”
In the statement, which compared the traffic data of the four-day Eid al-Fitr holiday for the years 2023 and 2026, “With the effect of our citizens’ compliance and sensitivity to traffic rules, the number of fatal accidents decreased by 39.5 percent, decreasing from 38 to 23, and the number of accident deaths decreased by 29.5 percent, decreasing from 44 to 31. In the same period, the number of accidents with injuries decreased from 3 thousand 85 to 2 thousand 730, “While the number of injured people decreased from 5 thousand 594 to 4 thousand 861, the average daily loss of life decreased by 29.5 percent from 11 to 7.75. Inspections and awareness activities to increase traffic safety are continuing with determination.”
