Operating licenses for these stations are given by the metropolitan municipality in metropolitan cities.” The court decided to cancel the license of the gas station located in the municipality service area in the master development plan and suspend its activities. When Türkeş’s political ban was lifted after the 1987 referendum, he became the founding leader of the MHP and the Chairman of the Nationalist Working Party (MÇP). The name of MÇP became MHP again by the unanimous vote of the delegates at its General Assembly on January 24, 1993.
