“Ramadan in the Complex” events held at the Presidential Complex are the scene of colorful images that keep alive the spirit of unity, solidarity and sharing. The project, which was organized for the first time last year and won an international award, hosts tens of thousands of citizens during Ramadan this year. The project, which was realized for the first time in 2025 and was awarded in the “Public Services” category at the “Golden Globe Awards for Excellence” by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), is attracting great interest this year as well. More than 500 thousand citizens have visited the events so far during the month of Ramadan.

FULL OF EDUCATION AND FUN FOR FROM CHILDREN TO ADULTS: Culture, art, education and entertainment-filled programs are held for visitors of all ages, from children to adults, in the activity areas established in the Social Complex. While special playgrounds, workshops and cartoon musicals for children attract great attention; Concerts, conferences, book fairs and autograph sessions also welcome visitors.

ATTRACTING THE INTEREST OF VISITORS: Cinema screenings, science shows, traditional art trainings, sports activities, competitions and recycling activities are also organized within the scope of the program. There are many activity areas for technology enthusiasts such as flight simulators, space museum, television experience areas and cyber security training. Healthy living activities, traffic training, greenhouse production practices and forest fire awareness tunnel also attract great attention from visitors.

CORTEGE WITH TRADITIONAL SHOWS: One of the most colorful moments of Ramadan was the Ramadan procession. Colorful images were created during the cortege march, which started from the front of the main building of the Presidential Complex and continued to the Exhibition Hall, accompanied by mehter marches and traditional shows.

CHILDREN SHOW GREAT INTEREST IN MASCOTS AND TRADITIONAL SHOWS: In the procession; The Ministry of National Defense Mehter Band, Historical Ottoman Union, cartoon mascots, Guard Regiment Band, Folk Dance teams, Gendarmerie Band, Ramadan drummers, wooden leg show teams and Nasreddin Hodja character took part. Especially children showed great interest in mascots and traditional shows.

At the concert held in the garden of the Gendarmerie Mehter Command Beştepe Congress Center, many works such as “Pleven March”, “Attack March”, “I Will Die, My Turkey” and “The Sails Will Be Reaped” were performed. Citizens accompanied the anthems and songs.
