Kurtulmuş: The integration of the SDG should be achieved as soon as possible
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, evaluated the developments in Syria and said, “The SDF should be integrated with the Syrian administration as soon as possible, in accordance with the March 10 Agreement.” Kurtulmuş visited the Parliamentary Correspondents’ Association on the occasion of January 10, Working Journalists’ Day. Answering the questions of parliamentary reporters, Kurtulmuş gave the following messages:
(Developments in Syria) Within the framework reached in the March 10 Agreement, the integration of Syria, especially the SDF, into the new administration of Syria should be ensured as soon as possible. A country where there are armed men and organizations everywhere, in every region, in every city, in every neighborhood is unthinkable. Nobody would allow such a country. The issue is Syria’s territorial integrity. There is a need for a strong Syrian state structure in which the voice of all ethnic structures, ‘Arabs, Kurds, Turkmens’ and all sectarian structures, is respected… We all know that the disorder in Syria is an important and vital security problem for Turkey… When Turkey says ‘Let there be unity and solidarity in Syria’, it is not just making a wish, it is revealing a vital limit for itself.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan published a message on the occasion of the Adoption of the National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Commemoration Day. According to the written statement made by the Ministry of Justice, Gürlek received the President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Mustafa Gültepe and his accompanying delegation at the Ministry.

The 4th day of the IMM corruption case is witnessing the provocations and scandals of the detained Ekrem İmamoğlu. Ekrem İmamoğlu overcame the security barriers even though it was prohibited. The president of the court decided to remove all detained defendants, including İmamoğlu, from the courtroom. The hearing was postponed to Monday on the grounds that the hearing order was not maintained.

I explained the irregularities regarding the tulip tenders.” He continued his defense by saying.

Stating that the contractors gradually started to have troubles in the following period, Polat said, “They started to say, ‘He wants this much money from us,’ trusting that we have known each other for a long time. When the disturbances increased after 2-3 days, I thought that Ali Sukas was collecting it for himself. Ertan Yıldız’s cousin Duygu Çebi was appointed as Production Planning Manager. I shared it with him first. I needed to talk to Ertan Yıldız, he made an appointment. Çebi said, ‘He is very bored, he is interested.’ After a while, “It passed, nothing happened,” he said.

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office completed the IMM corruption investigation on November 11 and prepared a huge 3,806-page indictment against a total of 407 suspects, 107 of whom were detained and 7 of whom were caught. Bribery and corruption in 143 actions were described as causing a public loss of 161 billion.
In the indictment, Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was held responsible for 142 actions as the leader of the organization, was accused of “establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime”, “recording personal data”, “seizing and disseminating personal data”, “concealing criminal evidence”, “obstructing communication”, “damaging public property”, “bribery”, “publicly disseminating misleading information”, “extortion”, “fraud to the detriment of public institutions and organizations”, “devaluation of assets resulting from crime”. Up to 2,352 years of imprisonment was requested for the crimes of “laundering”, “tender rigging”, “deliberate pollution of the environment”, and violation of the Tax Procedure Law, Forest Law and Mining Law.

The security of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the maintenance of peace and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean are of strategic importance for Türkiye, and our stance on this issue is clear and unchanging.
Our air and air defense elements that we deployed to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus after the missile and drone threat arising from the conflicts between the USA-Israel and Iran; It is aimed at strengthening deterrence, supporting the security of the airspace and strengthening our ability to react quickly against possible threats. However, it will not allow any hostile attitude or fait accompli that targets the rights and interests of the Turkish Cypriots; We will not hesitate to use the rights and powers granted by the guarantee.
PATRIOT SYSTEM DEPLOYED IN MALATYA
Within the scope of the ongoing violent conflicts between the USA-Israel and Iran, two ballistic munitions fired from Iran at different times against our country were neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements.
In addition to the measures we have taken at the national level to ensure the security of our airspace and citizens in the face of developments, consultation mechanisms with our NATO allies have been effectively put into effect. In this context, a patriot system assigned from NATO Allied Air Command Ramstein/Germany is deployed to Malatya as a complementary element of the air defense architecture.
NATO is a security alliance with the will to protect the airspace and territory of allied countries; Türkiye is one of the most important elements of this structure with its geostrategic location, strong army and critical role in the southeastern wing of the Alliance.
