Important statements from President Erdoğan!

YAVUZ BÜLENT DID NOT FORGET BAKİLER AND NIYAZİ SAYIN

Stating that they watched the biography videos of the award winners together, Erdoğan continued his words as follows:

“On behalf of myself and my nation, I would like to thank our award winners, who have brought valuable works to our country and the world by filtering the seeds of their minds through their hearts. Likewise, I congratulate our selection committee members who determined the names worthy of the award after a very meticulous and sensitive evaluation process. Right at the beginning of my words, I would like to especially mention the two winners of the Culture and Art Grand Awards, whom we recently sent away to eternity. Poet Yavuz Bülent Bakiler, who passed away on September 28, and ney players. “I remember Kutubu Niyazi Sayın with respect and pray for God’s mercy. As a country and a nation, we will never forget these two values that we owe so much to, and we will always remember them with gratitude. Even though one side of us is shedding leaves because of our losses, the other side of us continues to bloom, flourish and thrive.”

Erdoğan presented this year’s science and culture award to Prof. Dr. He reminded what he presented to Süleyman Seyfi Öğün.

“Our teacher Süleyman Seyfi Öğün is one of the rare academicians who does not cut off the connection between his library and the world that flows noisily outside.” Using the expression, Erdoğan said the following.

“Our teacher’s works, which focus on the changes in politics, economy, philosophy, society and culture from different perspectives, are both comprehensive and deep. When we look at his works, we can also see the serenity of our tradition of thought to date. I congratulate our teacher. I hope that he will make significant contributions to our scientific and intellectual acquis with many more studies.”

President Erdoğan reminded that the winner of this year’s painting award is the valuable painter Yalçın Gökçebağ.

Emphasizing that Yalçın Gökçebağ, who brought Anatolia to painting and painting to Anatolia in his half-century-long art journey, has put the treasure he inherited from the first generation painters of the Republic on canvas with a new intuition and perspective, Erdoğan said, “The voice of these lands can be heard in his paintings, in which he transforms colors into poetry. The beauties of people and nature can be read in his lines. Yalçın, who holds an important place in Turkish painting with his original, lively and fairy-tale-like works.” I congratulate Gökçebağ with all my heart.” he said.

Erdoğan gave the music award to Prof. Dr. He stated that they preferred Yalçın Tura.

Pointing out that Tura, one of the living doyens of Turkish music, has composed the music of dozens of memorable films and TV series, Erdoğan said, “Our teacher, who received training from masters such as Cemal Reşit Rey, Seyfettin Asal and Demirhan Atlı, made valuable contributions to both the science of music and Turkish music theory. He established the Turkish Music State Conservatory Music Department at Istanbul Technical University and brought an elite education home to our country. He has won our hearts both for his academic work and “I would like to thank him for all the values he has gifted to Turkish music with his Quran compositions and lyrics.” he said.

President Erdoğan presented our archeology award to Prof. Dr. He stated that they presented it to Fahri Işık.

Emphasizing that Fahri Işık, a scientist whom Malatya has gifted to Turkish and world archeology, revealed one by one the mistakes that were accepted as correct in excavation science until today, Erdoğan said:

“He shed light on thousands of years of rich history of Anatolia with his books, articles and research. By staying sometimes in tents and sometimes in village houses in the excavation areas, he unearthed rare artifacts in many ancient cities, especially Patara. I wholeheartedly congratulate our teacher Fahri Işık, who made great contributions to Turkish archaeology, and congratulate him for his paradigm-changing work in excavation science.”

Stating that they will give this year’s photography award to Palestinian journalist and photographer Ali Jadallah, Erdoğan said:

“Our brother Ali, who revealed the brutal genocide that continued for two years in Gaza to the whole world with his photographs and brought the so-called ‘civilized’ facts to the world with his lens, also works in the field as a photojournalist of our Anadolu Agency. What was reflected from his frame brought not only the terrible dimensions of the massacre in Gaza, but also the justified, honorable and dignified resistance of the Palestinian people to the agenda of humanity in all its glory. The photographs he took made a great impact in the international public opinion. Israel of the Republic of South Africa These photographs were presented as evidence in the case he filed against him to the International Court of Justice. On behalf of myself, my nation and all the oppressed, I congratulate my brother Ali Jadallah, who risked his life and pressed the shutter of the truth, and on behalf of all the oppressed, I hereby commemorate the 283 members of the press, 37 of whom were women, who were brutally murdered by Israel. “Today, I once again salute the heroic struggle of journalists.”

President Erdoğan: We stand by Palestine unbendingly

“AS LONG AS HUMAN EXISTS, ART WILL ALSO EXIST”

Emphasizing that despite the Israeli government’s efforts to silence and prevent it, conscientious hearts and real journalists pursuing the truth continue to reveal all that is happening in Palestine at the expense of their lives, Erdoğan said:

“As a country and administration that has adopted the motto of shouting out the truth, we stand firm on the side of the Palestinian people, without bending or bending. Turkish media organizations, especially TRT and Anadolu Agency, showed a truly courageous stance during the Gaza genocide. Our Directorate of Communications published a book called ‘The Murder of the Truth – Israel’s War Against Journalism’ last week in order to record the sacrifices of the members of the press who were brutally murdered in Gaza. To ensure that what happened in Gaza is not forgotten and “From now on, we will continue our fight with determination on all fronts for the manifestation of justice.”

President Erdoğan stated that man is a masterpiece of art in itself and stated that since ancient times, man has seen every object, every situation, every sound and color he encounters on earth as the material of art.

Stating that the human family has created an enormous artistic accumulation with the geniuses and artistic souls it has produced from its ranks, Erdoğan said, “The climate of culture and civilization that we inherit today is our common wealth built and demonstrated by great artists. This wealth is also the result of the idea of continuity. Undoubtedly, one of the strongest proofs of the sufferings and joys of human beings in the world’s life and their efforts to exist is culture and art. As long as humans exist, art will also exist. As long as humans live, art will live, renew itself, open new horizons.” “It will discover and continue to reproduce itself.” he said.

President Erdoğan: We stand by Palestine unbendingly

“TURKISH POETRY IS ALSO THE TITLE DEED OF OUR NATIONAL FEELING”

Arif Nihat Asya’s poem “San’at” says, “You create marble. I make a palace out of it. I cut and reap the reed you planted in the water, what do I do? You send a lily of a tree. I comb it, decorate it, I make it a lord. I make my orphan tongue a moon for my flag in the sky. As long as you give it to me, I will definitely make something from it.” Reading the lines, Erdoğan said that the summary of architecture, music, poetry, painting and sentence art is man’s effort to understand the world and beyond.

“Art is art because it makes the world more meaningful.” President Erdoğan continued his words as follows:

“Art is art because it adds value to people, because it improves people. Art is art because it gives us an enthusiasm, imagination and feeling that nothing else can give. This is exactly why art does not separate, it unites. Of course, this fact should be emphasized here, every great poet, every great writer of Turkish is our source of pride. All of our intellectuals who produce works in the fields of language, culture, art, thought and architecture are poles for us. Just as we cannot imagine an Edirne without Selimiye or an Istanbul without Süleymaniye, we cannot imagine a Türkiye without Mimar Sinan, from Yunus Emre to Karacaoğlan, from Fuzuli to Mehmet Akif, from Nedim to Yahya. From Kemal to Nefi to Nazım Hikmet, from Şeyh Galip to Sezai Karakoç, Turkish poetry is the title deed not only of our language but also of our national feeling. Hopefully, this deep-rooted heritage we have in science, culture and art will continue to nourish the world’s culture and art for centuries.”

Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee is going to the USA! Fuat Oktay: The constructive attitude of the congress is of critical importance in Türkiye-US relations

Published

on

Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, pointed out that cooperation, especially in the field of defense industry, has historically played a decisive role in the relations between the two countries, and stated that some restrictions that should not exist between allies are still applied to Türkiye. Stating that the restrictions in question do not coincide with the strategic interests of neither the USA nor NATO, Oktay noted that the current situation harms the spirit of the alliance.

Considering the US administration’s more constructive attitude towards the removal of these restrictions as a positive development, Oktay said that it is vital for the Congress to adopt a similar approach without delay and hesitation for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. He emphasized that this process requires a strategic perspective and constant dialogue.

Underlining that it is imperative to strengthen the relations between the legislative bodies of the two countries, Oktay expressed that they believe that parliamentary diplomacy can play a key role at this point.

In this context, Oktay announced that they would pay a visit to Washington within the week as the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, and stated that they would also hold contacts with think tanks, academic circles and non-governmental organizations, as well as meetings with members of Congress. Oktay stated that they aim to move Turkish-US parliamentary relations from the “turbulent crisis management mode” to a principle-based and permanent “stable partnership” with the contacts to be held.

Minister of Justice Tunç: “The regulation regarding children involved in crime will come to the parliament after the commission works are completed.”

Published

Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life as a result of a knife attack at the Kadıköy flea market, was commemorated with a mawlid program held in the Sultanahmet Mosque on the anniversary of his death. Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç also attended the Mevlid program along with Minguzi’s family and loved ones.

Speaking after the program, Minister Tunç said, “A Mawlid-i Sharif was held at the Blue Mosque on the anniversary of the death of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi. We prayed. We were with his family. We commemorated him once again on the anniversary. May God have mercy on him. I wish patience to his family. Yesterday, we visited the family of our son Atlas and expressed our condolences. He also informed the family about the investigation process. Especially the need for “The brutal murder of our son Mattia Ahmet and our son Atlas deeply hurt us all as a nation. We also have children whose names we cannot mention who were brutally murdered in this way. We wish patience to the families of all of them,” he said.

“The regulation regarding children involved in crime will come to the parliament after the commission works are completed.”

Emphasizing that the issue of children dragged into crime after the murders has come to the agenda of the country once again, Minister Tunç said, “The issues regarding the punishment of children under the age of 18 are regulated in Article 31 of the Turkish Penal Code. Regarding this, Türkiye’s implementation consists of 3 levels. Those under the age of 12 do not have criminal liability, children-specific measures are applied. There is a half-and-half reduction in the 12-15 age group. In the 15-18 age group, there is a 1 in 3 reduction.” There is a discount. For aggravated murder crimes, a sentence of up to 24 years can be imposed for the 15-18 age group, and when you look at the practices of other countries, there is no criminal liability under the age of 15. At this point, it is clear that there is a need to re-evaluate our legislation, especially to ensure that children do not participate in these crimes. We had worked on a draft with the idea that judges should be given a discretionary power on a case-by-case basis, taking into account issues such as the way the crime was committed, the child’s criminal tendency, the intensity of the intention, etc. Our parliamentary group evaluated this and discussed it with other political parties. An agreement was reached. A detailed investigation should be carried out, especially in terms of eliminating these reasons and the measures to be taken, and making a change in the law accordingly. “The idea of necessity has emerged in our parliament. Currently, this commission is continuing its work. These legal regulations will be brought to the agenda in our parliament according to the report that will be produced after the commission’s work is completed,” he said.

Pointing out that a regulation regarding children dragged into crime has been enacted in the 11th Judicial Package, Minister Tunç said, “The regulation regarding increasing the penalties to be given to organization managers and organization members by half in case children are used in organized crimes has become law in the 11th Judicial Package. The regulation regarding the penalty periods in Article 31 of the TCK will be made after the commission works. The cases regarding both of our children and our other children are continuing. I also met with Atlas Çağlayan’s family. Bakırköy Republic Republic “The investigation continues at the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. We are following the investigation carefully, in the 12-15 age group. 4 people who threatened the Çağlayan family on social media were also threatened. 3 people who threatened the family and 1 person who destroyed the grave were sentenced to up to 5 years in prison.”

“We are very sensitive, we need to protect our children”

Emphasizing that they are working meticulously on children who are dragged into crime, Minister Tunç said, “Our sensitivity here is extremely high. We need to protect our children. Necessary precautions must be taken sensitively by both families and the relevant institutions of the state to protect children from the effects of social media and to prevent them from getting involved in crime. Regarding the protection of children, of course, this is an important problem all over the world. In Türkiye, especially the child protection law came into force in 2005. Constitutional regulations regarding the protection of children and the prevention of child abuse have been implemented in our Constitution. At the point of reflecting the constitutional and legal regulations especially in practice.” “We continue to be sensitive. We are following the investigations closely. Once again, I wish God’s mercy to our son Ahmet Minguzzi, our son Atlas Çağlayan, and our children who were brutally murdered in this way. We respect the sensitivity of the mothers. We also maintain our sensitivity to take appropriate measures and make laws.”

Yasemin Minguzzi: “My anger increases with the pain. I will not let this go.”

Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi’s mother, Yasemin Minguzzi, said, “It is a very difficult day for me. Because in fact, these are the minutes when I received the news from the doctor that Ahmet’s brain death had occurred. As a mother, it was very difficult and devastating. His departure was very heavy. Afterwards, as you know, we continued our struggle. It has been 1 year now. We have always fought for our children. I hope justice will not be delayed anymore. We lost not only Atlas but also many of our children. We continue to lose. My anger increases with the pain. “I’m telling you, I will not let this go. Also, you know, there are two acquittals. They should definitely go in. We do not accept this. Hopefully, good things will happen. We met with the Minister of Justice and our President and got their word,” he said.

“On January 6, 2026, a meeting was held with the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Murat Kurum, to solve the problems of Keçiören.

After this visit, some cliques within the CHP; This has increased the dose of gossip and perceptions. However, a Mayor; I cannot understand why he visited the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Air Conditioning, who has won the hearts of our people with his effective and fast services, especially in the earthquake zone, and why he visited his district to serve his district. Moreover, although our relationship with Mr. Minister is a friendship that goes back many years, based on school and work friendships; After this visit, the number of these cliques and their pressure on me increased. Although I kept my silence against pressure, gossip and slander and continued my services, on 07.02.2025, at 23:59, Whatsapp messages started to come to me from CHP Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel. These messages; It contains insults, threats and slander that are incompatible with political courtesy, party morality, public responsibility and humanity.

I ask; Would a chairman swear at the mayor? Would a chairman target and insult family values? Would a chairman threaten with unspeakable words? Especially in the face of messages that confused my family values and my sacred existence, even my mother and my late father; It is out of the question for me to serve in the ranks of the Republican People’s Party anymore, provided that my respect and love for the voters of the Republican People’s Party remain. “Although my only priority is to serve Keçiören, I have come to the conclusion that it is not possible for me to serve in a healthy manner by focusing my energy and work on the problems of my district, on a ground dominated by the style and understanding in the messages.”
