President Erdoğan: We will protect our cultural heritage
The Museum-i Humayun, which was opened in 1891 with the permission and will of Sultan Abdulhamid Khan, completed its institutionalization with Osman Hamdi Bey, is the Istanbul Archeology Museum, not only the Ottoman geography, but also as the first modern museum of the East. Our work in the archeology field has developed even more developed and gained momentum with the determined steps taken in the early years of the Republic. The museums established in the 1930s, the excavations initiated in different places and the archaeological chair opened in our universities brought the scientific studies in this field to the next point. In the future, many extensive projects have been implemented.
We are currently carrying out the flag race in this area by commissioning all our facilities. In order to carry our history and cultural heritage to the future, we are making efforts with all our strength. We spend intensive efforts with our Ministry of Culture, related institutions, universities, teachers, non -governmental organizations and all actors of our archeology community. Our friends, which we appointed in this field under the Presidency, work with a surrounding and embracing understanding without skipping any details. We do not avoid any sacrifice to see the interest and value it deserves deserved by our hidden treasures created as a result of your forehead sweat. We are proud to see that our efforts are not wasted.
Today, with the field study approaching 800 annually, we have reached a very important level both in scope and content. Our excavation teams on land, and underwater, diver scientists write epics in archeology. In archeology, it makes unique contributions to the history of humanity beyond writing this epic. I would like to share with you here: Türkiye ranks first in the world archeology in the land surface and underwater discoveries. From the cave excavations to the Stone Hills project, from our mounds to classical cities, from Ahlat Selçuklu Square Cemetery to Malazgirt war area research, we reveal the ancient past of Anatolia in different aspects.
In 2023, we started the inheritance project for the future, which is the most comprehensive archeology work in our Republican history. With this project, we increased the resource allocated to archeology in Türkiye. We have increased the number of excavation presidencies all over our country from 151 to 250 in the last seven years. In only 2024, we provided significant employment support to archeology activities with more than 2000 experts and more than 3000 employees for excavations. We managed to get the results of our inheritance project in the future in a short time. The most concrete outputs of the project showed itself in excavation times. Previously excavations, you know, it was done over a limited period of time, the excavation season consisted of about 90 days. Considering the opening and closing processes of the excavation area, this time decreased to almost 40-50 days. With the new facilities we provided, we increased the excavation time to 12 months.

We are starting a new phase called Türkiye Century Meetings. From August 8 to September 15, we are starting a new study where we will meet our citizens. Our President gave the relevant instructions in this new period.

Fake diploma scandal
There is a crime network that tries to carry out these activities within the state on the fake diploma and driver’s licenses. This issue was identified by the State Institutions 1 year ago and these investigations were carried out by the Ankara Prosecutor’s Office. As of May 21, this year has been converted into a case, evidence has been collected. Everything has been followed and put in the file. We will share all kinds of information reaching us. We would like to thank well -intentioned warnings, but we will not allow sabotages that will try to turn it into a partisan debate.
The massacre network should be tried
We closely follow the issue of Palestine and Gaza. In terms of humanitarian aid, the aid we send there, the case we include with South Africa, and all these are concrete actions that reveal the most effective strategy against the Zionist genocide network. All genocide crimes are committed to the judiciary of the massacre network. They account for these as the Nazis did. They should account for their genocide. Anyone who encourages them will have to face Nazi actions. We would like to thank all the countries that recognize the Palestinian state.
The Supreme Military Council gathered in the complex headed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The meeting started at 12.09 lasted 2.5 hours. WHO IS SELÇUK BAYRAKTAROĞLU?

As of January 9, 2020, he assumed the 2nd Chairman of the General Staff; In 2021, he was promoted to the rank of general with the decisions of the Supreme Military Council. From FETÖ calios to general

Its name has been announced
The name of the commission formed for the Turkish process without terrorism became the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission. At the meeting, the work procedures and principles of the commission were unanimously accepted. The commission will continue until 31 December 2025. The time can be extended if necessary. 5/3 of the total number of members will be searched in preparations for the law proposal. In other decisions, the number of decisions will be sought.

Gen. Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu was appointed as the Chief of General Staff
Chief of General Staff Gen. Metin Gürak was referred to the retirement due to the lack of staff, instead of the Land Forces Commander Gen. Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu was appointed. The Land Forces Command was brought to the 1st Army Commander Gen. Metin Tokel. Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu and Air Force Commander Gen.
