Breaking news | President Erdoğan announced a new record in exports! Those who turn their faces to Ankara will win!
“WE SET A NEW MONTHLY EXPORT RECORD WITH 26.4 BILLION DOLLARS IN DECEMBER”
Stating that the resilience of the Turkish economy was tested in 2025 and that the Turkish economy passed a very successful test, Erdoğan emphasized that not only growth figures but also export figures reveal Türkiye’s capacity.
Sharing the foreign trade data for 2025, President Erdoğan gave the following information:
“We broke a new export record on a monthly basis with 26.4 billion dollars in December. In December, a net increase of 3 billion dollars was achieved compared to the previous year. For the first time, our monthly exports exceeded the 26 billion dollar threshold. There is a similar record in our goods exports for 2025. Our goods exports, which increased by 4.5 percent compared to the previous year, reached a total of 273.4 billion dollars. Thus, we achieved the highest annual export in the history of our Republic. Good luck “Of course, our records for 2025 do not end there. There was an increase in our goods exports in the first ten months of last year. In the first five months, there was a net increase of 11.7 billion dollars in our goods exports. We estimate that our annual services exports reached 123.1 billion dollars, thus reaching 396.5 billion dollars.”
Pointing out that while 33 provinces will export over 1 billion dollars in 2025, 46 provinces increased their exports, Erdoğan said:
“Our top five exporting provinces are Istanbul with 57.8 billion dollars. Kocaeli is second with 35.1 billion dollars. Izmir is third with 23.6 billion dollars. Bursa is fourth with 20 billion dollars. Tekirdağ is fifth with 13.2 billion dollars. In imports, which is the other side of the scale, we closed the year 2025 with 365.5 billion dollars. The revival in our economy and the rise in the ounce price of gold and the import value are the reasons for the increase in imports.” However, the ratio of exports to imports, which was around 50 percent in 2002, reached 74.8 percent in 2025. Dear representatives of our business world, the top three countries that stand out in terms of increase in our exports in 2025 compared to the previous year are: Germany with an increase of 1.7 billion dollars, the United Kingdom with an increase of 1.3 billion dollars, and Syria, which was liberated after the 8 December revolution. “We are very pleased that Syria stands out in our trade. As the security environment improves, our trade with Syria will increase further. Hopefully, one and all Syria will be the key to permanent stability in our region.”
Erdoğan noted that when we look at the first three sections on a value basis, we see that motor vehicles increased by 4.3 billion dollars to 36.7 billion dollars, weapons and ammunition increased by 2.1 billion dollars to 4.7 billion dollars, and electrical machinery and equipment increased by 1.3 billion dollars to 17.8 billion dollars.
Drawing attention to the contribution of medium-high and high-tech products in production to exports, Erdoğan stated that the increase recorded by Türkiye in investments and high-tech industrial production is also reflected in the export of high-tech products, and said, “In 2025, the exports of high-tech products increased by 12.7 percent, reaching 9.9 billion dollars, and our exports of medium-high technology products increased by 10.6 percent, reaching 102.1 billion dollars. In 2002, only 1% of our exports increased.” While 30 of them were medium-high and high technology products, this rate was 43.5 percent in 2025.” he said.
Erdoğan emphasized that there is a strong production infrastructure behind Türkiye’s export performance and continued as follows:
“In the automotive industry, we are the 4th largest production base in Europe and the 12th largest in the world, with a production capacity of nearly 2 million, annual production of 1.5 million vehicles, and exports exceeding 41 billion dollars. The presence of our local and national brand Togg in the European market with its new models demonstrates our engineering and design power. In 2025, our automotive sector exports increased by 11.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 41.4 billion dollars. Machines and electrical machines “Our sector exports increased by 4 percent and reached 43.7 billion dollars.”
“Türkiye HAS BECOME THE 5TH LARGEST TRADE PARTNER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION”
Stating that another source of pride is defense and aerospace exports, Erdoğan said, “Turkey is now a country that has made a name for itself on a global scale in this field. Our latest Hürjet supply agreement reached with Spain has confirmed the leading role of our country in this field. From where to where… Hopefully, the fact that Hürjet will enter the inventory of a European and NATO member country will pave the way for us even more in the coming years. We continued the momentum we achieved in defense exports in 2025. In 2002 “Our exports, which were 248 million dollars, increased 40 times in the intervening period and reached 9 billion 870 million dollars in 2025.” he said.
Wishing that these enormous figures will be beneficial for Turkey, Erdogan said, “Turkey has become the 5th largest trade partner of the European Union and our trade volume increased to 232.7 billion dollars in 2025. Our exports to the Union increased by 7.8 percent, reaching 117 billion dollars. However, the modernization of the customs union is now inevitable for the sustainable development of our commercial relations. We hope that the European Union will obtain the necessary authority from the council and initiate negotiations with our country without wasting any more time.” We do.” he said.
Stating that they closely follow the protectionist measures and legal preparation processes of their European friends in some sectors with the concept of economic security, Erdoğan said:
“We expect the European Union not to spoil the nature of trade between us with protectionist reflexes and to remain faithful to our partnership law. We will continue to take every step with determination to protect the competitiveness of our industrialists in the face of unilateral regulations. In addition to the European market, our exports in 2025 will be 73.7 billion dollars with the members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, 11 billion dollars with the countries of the Organization of Turkish States, 5.6 billion dollars with the Balkan countries that are not members of the European Union, and with America, Canada and Mexico. It amounted to around 19.2 billion dollars. Don’t stop, keep going.”
2025 TARGET WAS EXCEEDED IN GOODS AND SERVICES EXPORTS
Noting that exports of services as well as exports of goods are going very well, Erdoğan said, “We announced our 2025 target as 121 billion dollars. We had the joy of reaching this target in September with 121.9 billion dollars. We expect our services exports to exceed 123 billion dollars at the end of the year. At the meeting we met with you last year, I shared our target for exports of goods and services for 2025 as 390 billion dollars. Despite all the difficulties in the global economy “I would like to express with pleasure that despite the increasing uncertainties, our exports of goods and services exceeded our target with 396.5 billion dollars.” he said.
Pointing out that this positive picture in exports of goods and services brings with it the improvement in the current account balance, President Erdoğan said, “The share of the current account deficit in national income is below historical averages. We hope to see a rate of 1.4 percent at the end of the year, compatible with the Medium Term Program. By making these improvements in the current account balance permanent, we will raise the Turkish economy to a more resilient position.” made his assessment.
Stating that they will join hands with exporters, which are Türkiye’s pride, and achieve much greater success together in 2026, Erdoğan said:
“Today, we are not only evaluating the year 2025, but also determining the targets for 2026. Our target for 2026 is a total of 410 billion dollars of exports, of which 282 billion dollars are goods exports and 128 billion dollars are services exports. Thank God, we managed to exceed our target last year. I sincerely believe that we will exceed our target for 2026, hopefully. I am very confident that we will work with all our strength towards this target. “I know, I say it at every opportunity. We are a great country, a great nation. What we have achieved in the last 23 years is the guarantee of what we will achieve. Our source of inspiration and strength is clear as we pursue greater goals. God willing, we will all experience the pride of breaking new records in exports at our next year’s meeting.”
Emphasizing that, as the government, they stand by those who work, produce and export, Erdogan said, “In 2025, we allocated 33 billion liras of support from the annual budget of our Ministry of Commerce for our exporters of goods and services. In 2026, we increased the support we allocated to this field to 45 billion liras. In addition, we plan to launch new support packages and services that will meet the needs of our exporters. Don’t worry. As long as you work and produce, we will be by your side.” he said.
President Erdoğan wished that the highest export figure in the history of the Republic would be beneficial to the country and nation.

‘Terror-free Türkiye’ message from Kurtulmuş: “We are about to cross a historical threshold”
“WE ARE ABOUT TO CROSS A HISTORICAL THRESHOLD”
Stating that Türkiye will leave the spiral of terror and violence behind, Kurtulmuş said, “We are starting a new era with the terrorist organization dissolving itself and laying down its weapons completely. We are about to cross a historical threshold. First of all, I would like to express that from the first day we started our work, in any step in this process, no step has ever been taken, will not be taken, and will not be allowed to be taken, that would harm the souls of our martyrs, do wrong to the memories of our veterans, or do injustice to them.” he said.
Stating that the imperialist powers that shattered the great world state, the Ottoman Empire, a century ago, created dozens of new countries from this geography, and made not only Turks, Kurds, Arabs, but even members of the same tribe citizens of different countries, Kurtulmuş drew attention to the border between Nusaybin-Kamışlı, Akçakale-Tel Abyad and Suruç-Ayn el Arap.
Kurtulmuş made the following evaluations:
“They divided people not only according to their race, but also as tribes and families with the artificial borders they established. No matter what they did, they could not do anything, they could not make the people of this region enemies of each other. There was no fight or war between Turks with Kurds, Kurds with Arabs, Arabs with anyone else. Again, the people of this region know that ‘Muslims and believers are only brothers. Find peace between brothers.’ “The brothers found their own peace and moved to a new phase to revive unity, solidarity and brotherhood in this region, pushing aside all separation scenarios throughout history.”
“THE WORK HAS REACHED A MATURE POINT”
Emphasizing that the duty of Türkiye, the flagship of the region and the rising star of the new world, is to first fortify the inner castle and then establish the brotherhood of all the people of the region so that they will never be separated again, Kurtulmuş said that the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey is exactly the result of this ideal, this understanding, this historical accumulation.
Providing information about the National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Kurtulmuş stated that the commission includes people from different segments of society, as well as families of martyrs and veterans.
Sharing some of the memories expressed at the meetings, Kurtulmuş said:
“In one of our meetings, the mothers of martyrs and the ‘Mothers of Peace’ sat, one on one half of the same table, the other on the other half. The words that both sides said were: ‘We buried our children. From now on, we do not want to bury our children, we want the weapons to be buried in the ground.’ Perhaps this was one of the sentences that became the motto of all commission work. In another session, a veteran brother made a very emotional speech. At one point during his speech, he took off his artificial eye, put it in the palm of his hand and said, ‘I was injured in the fight against terrorism and lost my eye. I martyred my brother in my arms, but if all this will be left behind, if mothers will never cry again, if not a single martyr will fall on the soil of this country again, if not a single person will die, I too want peace, I also want the guns to be silent. ‘I want terrorism to never occur again in this country.’ It was an incredibly emotional scene.
Thank God, the studies have reached a mature point and a report has been produced. This report emerged as a compromise text approved by all parties, which evaluates and pays attention to all the sensitivities of you, our martyrs’ relatives and veterans, to the maximum extent, which our entire nation in Türkiye can easily adopt. “From now on, our expectation is that terrorism, weapons, conflict and violence will no longer be allowed in these lands, that the basis for this will not remain obvious, and that we will be able to build a Türkiye in which people’s minds and hearts fully assimilate the peaceful environment.”
“TOGETHER, WE WILL GO TO A MUCH STRONGER TOMORROW”
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Kurtulmuş underlined that there has never been a war not only in Türkiye but also among the peoples in the region, and said, “Although it is a country that has paid such a heavy price for terrorism, not a Turk stoned a Kurd’s house in any district of the country, nor did a Kurd say a harsh word against a Turk. The issue was an armed uprising by terrorist organizations.” he said.
Now the organization says, “I am laying down my weapons, I see that there is no point to go to with arms again, I see that the ideology that established the organization is no longer possible to continue itself, in this sense I am surrendering my weapons and ending my organizational activities.” Kurtulmuş stated that they will continue to work diligently and sincerely to ensure that, with the detection and registration by the security units, the necessary legal regulations can be made in the future and terrorism can be completely removed to the dusty shelves of history.
Kurtulmuş continued his words as follows:
“I consider it my duty to say this here, as someone who has attended many martyrs’ funerals, I have seen once again at every martyr’s funeral why this nation is a great nation. Even though he lost his child, his wife, I did not hear a word of rebellion at a single martyr’s funeral, not a single martyr’s relative asked, ‘Where did this come from, my God, why did you see me, why did you give me such a trouble, a calamity? I did not see him in a rebellious state against God Almighty. All the relatives of the martyrs said, “Thanks to the homeland, I lost my son, but we all feel sorry.” If it were not for your consciousness, our country would not be in this situation today. May God bless all of you and all the families of martyrs and veterans you represent.
This nation will never lose its spirit of unity, solidarity, brotherhood and solidarity, and this spirit of solidarity and brotherhood that we demonstrate in this country will be an example to all our surrounding countries, the entire Islamic world and even all humanity. It is also a blessing from God that this beautiful example is being realized at the beginning of a period in which we, as the Turkish nation, will write history again. “Hopefully, the effort spent on terrorism and violence, the lives lost, the time lost, all of these will now be spent on development, improvement, breakthrough, and taking Türkiye forward in a stronger way, and we will go to a much stronger tomorrow together, shoulder to shoulder, side by side.”
In his speech, Kurtulmuş commemorated Air Pilot Major İbrahim Bolat, who was martyred in the crash of the F-16 plane taking off from the 9th Main Jet Base Command in Balıkesir.

Unchanging determination from past to present: Special film from AK Party to President Erdoğan
The clip, which takes the audience back to President Erdoğan’s high school years, centers on an unforgettable memory experienced by a young student at the poetry contest he participated in. The determination of that young man, who did not leave the stage despite all the provocations and attempts to prevent him, and who stood tall with his faith and courage and took the first place, is conveyed to the audience with a striking visual language.

SYMBOLIC MEETING OF THE PAST AND THE PRESENT
The most striking and emotional moment of the video occurs at the intersection of past and present. That symbolic scene where young Erdoğan in his high school years and today’s global leader President Erdoğan greet each other; It reveals the continuity of the cause, direction and unshakable will over the years. This meaningful exchange of glances reminds the audience that leadership is not an accident, but a stance that lasts a lifetime.
This second video, following the birthday song and video clip titled “Happy Birthday, Chief”, which was released yesterday by the Directorate of Promotion and Media and received great acclaim, takes President Erdoğan’s birthday content series to an emotional peak. This work, which summarizes the spirit of a half-century-old political struggle, continues to meet the audience on all platforms with the message #EveryAgeIsPermitted.
In love with Istiklal since birth…

Embassies of Russia and France in Türkiye clashed on social media!
RUSSIA USED HARDER EXPRESSIONS
The Russian Embassy in Ankara responded to the French side’s statement with harsher expressions. In the post, it was argued that France’s diplomatic tradition had turned into “poor posts” on social media. The Russian side also claimed that the French government has been one of the most important supporters of the administration in Kiev since 2014 and described the Ukrainian administration as a “Nazi regime”. “Perhaps the French government is still haunted by the ghosts of 1812?” the message read. It ended with the statement:
The embassy used the following statements in its post: “It is truly sad that all that remains of France’s famous diplomacy is making pathetic and pathetic posts on social media. It is necessary to remind our colleagues that Paris was one of the most important supporters of the Nazi regime in Kiev, which has been massacring the civilian population of its country, including children and women, since 2014. But perhaps it is the ghosts of 1812 that still haunt the French government?”

Minister Kurum: The rising power of the world is Turkey
“THE WORLD HAS HIGH EXPECTATIONS FROM COP31”
“We do not view COP31 as just a diplomatic meeting. We see COP31 as a turning point where implementation is accelerated, trust is re-established among all countries of the world, and concrete results are produced,” said Kurum, adding that they built their COP31 vision on the “COP of the Future: Implementation COP” approach.
Stating that their expectations from NGOs are very high, Kurum said that although COP processes are platforms where states take part in the negotiation table, the success of these processes depends on the empowering role of NGOs.
Pointing out the importance of NGOs, the institution said, “We should all know that the world has high expectations from COP31. This issue is not only the subject of the COP31 Presidency, but all of us.” made his assessment.
“Türkiye HAS BECOME THE ADDRESS FOR CREATING SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS”
Minister Kurum emphasized that Türkiye, the rising power of the world in every field, has a say in diplomacy under the leadership of President Erdoğan.
Reminding that 455 thousand houses were built in the earthquake zone in a short period of 2 years, and 1 million 757 thousand social houses have been brought to the citizens so far by TOKİ, the Institution reminded that the transformation of 2 million 252 thousand independent units throughout the country has been completed and 500 thousand social housing projects, which is the largest social housing move in history, have been initiated.
Noting that Türkiye is a country that has carried out 545 national gardens in 81 provinces, on an area exceeding 82 million square meters, and completed 314 of them, Kurum said, “Turkey is a country that presents ‘Zero Waste Day’ to the world with the ‘Zero Waste’ campaign led by First Lady Erdoğan. Turkey stands not only with the power of its words, but also with its stance, vision, actions and the deep-rooted system it represents.” “It has become the center of solution, dialogue and reconciliation that stands firm and directs the world.” He said his words.
The institution stated that Türkiye is a country that gives its own color to the place where it is located, therefore, they progress by engraving the power and historical codes of their civilization on every platform.
Pointing out that this truth is behind Türkiye’s success in hosting COP31, Kurum said, “Turkey has been the address of finding solutions to the problems arising from the climate crisis all over the world. The urgency of the climate crisis we are facing today clearly shows us that multilateralism at all levels, despite all the difficulties, will be the only legitimate and most effective ground to protect the common future of humanity. The honorable way out for humanity will be possible with the decisions to be taken here.” he said.
“WE WANT IT TO BE A SUMMIT WHERE DECISIONS ARE IMPLEMENTED”
Reminding that geopolitical fault lines have reactivated in the world and that there is a hot competition between countries in fields such as energy, mining, rare elements, artificial intelligence and digital sovereignty, Kurum pointed out that demographic fractures, migration waves and food security problems are increasing, financial uncertainties have triggered the emergence of a new financial structure, and the world is divided into “fossil block” and “green block”.
Pointing out that the green standards of the West and the development priority of the global south and underdeveloped countries weaken the basis for reconciliation and dialogue, Kurum said:
“Turkey will strengthen its unique position by building a new basis of consensus as the system architect in this conjuncture. While Turkey, on the one hand, will be the voice of countries seeking development with climate justice, just transition, and humanitarian diplomacy approaches, on the other hand, it will invite developed countries to take responsibility with suggestions such as green economy, green energy, equity, loss and damage fund. Because in our opinion, the fight against climate change is not about restricting life and preventing growth and development. It is not about depriving the people of development, but about spreading prosperity throughout the world, “We think it is a revolution that ensures access to food, water, energy and justice.”

BREAKING NEWS | Iftar meeting with young people! President Erdoğan: Türkiye is followed with envy
“I GET CHEAST EVERY TIME I INTERACT WITH THE YOUNG PEOPLE WORKING IN OUR DEFENSE INDUSTRY”
Emphasizing that Türkiye continues to make a great breakthrough that many countries have followed with envy in recent years, Erdoğan pointed out that a historical transformation has been experienced in almost every field in Türkiye, from the defense industry to tourism, from education to trade, from health to technology.
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is building its future with the inspiration and courage it received from the past, and made the following statements:
“You, our young people, have a very important share in Türkiye’s development and economic progress, as well as in the defense of the homeland, in making it a more prosperous and more prestigious country. From UAVs and SiHAs to space studies, from artificial intelligence to major technology initiatives, the hard work of young engineers, young researchers and entrepreneurs raised in these lands is responsible for every achievement of our country. Believe me, when you meet with the young people who work, labor and sweat in more than 3,500 companies in our defense industry My heart swells. Likewise, I hope the youth of this country, who proudly raise our flag in different branches of sports and make our National Anthem listen to proudly all over the world, are flowing noisily in their bed despite all kinds of dirty campaigns aimed at breaking the youth, determination, faith and excitement of TEKNOFEST.”
“WE MADE VERY SERIOUS INVESTMENTS IN SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE”
Stating that they are always supporters of young people so that they can use their energy and potential at the highest level, Erdoğan shared the following information:
“For this purpose, we expanded our youth centers throughout our country. When we took office, the number of our Youth Centers was 9. Today, this number has reached 570. By opening 132 new universities in higher education, we increased the total number of universities to 208. We increased the number of our higher education dormitories from 190 to 875. We put our comfortable, safe and modern dormitories with a capacity of 1 million beds at the service of our students. We want our young friends to lead the politics and the destiny of the country.” We first lowered the voting age from 30 to 25 and then to 18. We have made serious investments in the sports infrastructure of our country. We have built modern stadiums, indoor sports halls, swimming pools and athletics tracks in all 81 provinces. Our total number of sports facilities has increased from 1575 to 4 thousand 562 today. We have reached the highest number of medals in our history with the results we achieved in the Olympics. We especially encouraged participation and increased the rate of female athletes in national teams to over 45 percent. In other words, we have tried and are working to support you, young people, in every field including education, politics, sports, industry and technology. On this occasion, I wholeheartedly congratulate all our athletes, who are our source of pride with the medals they have brought to our country in different branches, and thank each of you.”
“NEW Türkiye, THE GREAT AND STRONG Türkiye WILL RISE ON YOUR SHOULDERS”
In his article “The Expected Youth”, the late Nurettin Topçu, an intellectual, described young people as follows: “Youth is the seed of the future. It will not be difficult to discover our future by looking at the essence of this seed.” Recalling his statements, President Erdoğan continued as follows:
“Youth are both the seed of the future and the guarantee of our future. You are the future of this nation, you will rule this country tomorrow. The new Turkey, the great and powerful Turkey, will rise on your shoulders. Each of you will assume very important responsibilities in different fields and assume important positions. I believe that each of you will serve our heavenly homeland with love, excitement, passion. I hope you will carry the flag you will inherit from us to higher levels. As the youth of Türkiye, in unity, with love, You will build the future of this country with brotherhood, love and friendship.
Please never forget this, dear young people, the Republic of Türkiye is your homeland. This country, where a brave man lies in every inch, is your own homeland. You all, each of you, are the true children of this nation. Neither you nor the 86 million citizens of this country can be treated as stepchildren or pariahs by anyone who considers themselves superior to the nation. No one can point a finger at you in your own land, in your own homeland, because of your attire, belief, or political views. Please do not allow the privileged people of the old Türkiye and those who thrive on conflict and tension to sow discord among you. Please do not allow incompetent people whose only capital in politics is doomsaying to come between you and your dreams.”
Asking the young people to protect the country, nation and the ancient and deep-rooted values of the nation, Erdoğan said, “I ask you to protect and preserve our country’s 23-year achievements, which we have achieved as a result of very difficult struggles. I especially request you to raise the Türkiye entrusted to you to higher levels. As the President of Turkey, I trust you. May God Almighty help you.” he said.
At the end of his speech, President Erdoğan stated that he expressed his gratitude to the heads of state and government who celebrated his birthday by calling, publishing messages, sending flowers or visiting in person, the chairmen of political parties, including MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, members of parliament, and especially all the citizens who did not spare their prayers.
