DMM’s denial of air raid alert claims in Kahramanmaraş!
The Directorate of Communications’ Center for Combating Disinformation denied the claims made in some social media accounts and media outlets that an air raid alarm was sounded in Kahramanmaraş before the developments in Aleppo. In the statement made on the subject, the claims that “Prior to the latest developments in Aleppo, air raid alarms were sounded in Kahramanmaraş and citizens were asked to go to shelters” contain disinformation. Siren sounds and warnings were carried out within the scope of the Warning and Alarm System (İKAS) test and exercise previously planned by AFAD. Therefore, it has nothing to do with the processes taking place in Aleppo. “We are kindly requested not to pay attention to such unfounded posts aimed at causing the society to panic.”

BREAKING NEWS… The following statements were used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement regarding the US/Israel-Iran War, which has entered its 7th day:
The situation of our citizens in the countries that are the targets of attacks in our region is closely monitored and necessary precautions are taken. The emergency lines of our representative offices and the Consular Call Center of our Ministry serve our citizens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is possible to leave Iraq, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Oman and Jordan via different transportation routes. Our representatives in these countries provide the necessary guidance to our citizens. There is still no direct air transportation to our country from Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, and exceptionally, there are rarely flights to our country from the United Arab Emirates. Efforts are being carried out to organize bus services for the transportation of our citizens from the four countries mentioned above to Saudi Arabia and Oman by land. It will then be possible for our citizens to return to Türkiye by air from these two countries. The start of bus services is subject to the permission of local authorities. Since conditions change instantly, it is important for our citizens to follow the announcements of our diplomatic missions in the relevant countries.

DMM’s denial of “MI6” allegations! – Breaking News
The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) published a statement regarding the news served by a foreign news agency claiming that Türkiye requested protection for the Syrian President from British intelligence.
“THE NEWS DOES NOT REFLECT THE TRUTH”
In DMM’s statement, the allegations in foreign media were directly rejected and the following statements were made:
“The news published today in a foreign news agency that ‘Turkey asked the British MI6 to increase the protection of the Syrian President Shara’ does not reflect the truth. It is not true that the MIT made any requests from MI6 regarding the protection of the Syrian President or asked them to take on such a role, as claimed in the news in question.”

Reminding that the main focus of Türkiye’s intelligence activities is the fight against terrorism, DMM clarified the work of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) at both regional and international levels with the following words:
“The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) is in effective cooperation with both the international intelligence community and the security units of our neighbor Syria in the field of counter-terrorism. The recent successful operations carried out together with the Syrian authorities against the DAESH terrorist organization are among the most current examples of this cooperation.”
The Center for Combating Disinformation warns against manipulative content: “The public is kindly requested not to rely on unfounded claims, posts and content.” he warned.
