INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN STARTED

Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the insults. In the statement, “Our Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an ex officio investigation into the acts of resistance and insult against the gendarmerie personnel on 15.01.2026 at the Marmara Penitentiary Institutions Campus.” It was said.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya also made a statement about the incident, which attracted the reaction of all of Türkiye. “Do you think that our gendarmerie, who sacrificed their lives for our country and served selflessly day and night, is unattended?” Minister Yerlikaya, who was harsh on the CHP members, said, “The CHP MP and the person next to him who insulted our gendarmerie without any limits… Do you think that our gendarmerie, who sacrificed their lives for our country and served selflessly day and night, is derelict? Do you think that those sons of the country, who have the prayers of our nation behind them, are alone? How dare you speak ill of the honor of our gendarmerie, who wears that noble uniform? How dare you compare it with Israeli soldiers? Of course, both our nation and our nation will pay the price for your insults.” “You will pay in front of your conscience and the law. No matter how much you hide it, the evil within you comes out, because a person’s tongue is the interpreter of what is in his heart.”

AK Party member Eyyüp Kadir İnan: Our President Özlem Çerçioğlu will never walk alone

Published

on

Speaking at the “loyalty iftar” program organized by the AK Party Aydın Provincial Directorate in a wedding hall in Efeler district, İnan said that his party has a policy of loyalty.

İnan stated that they joined hands with Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçıoğlu and wrote the epic of work and service policy in Aydın.

Stating that they swore an oath together with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to fly the AK Party’s service flag to the highest level on the city’s bastions under the leadership of Çerçioğlu, İnan said, “Those who protect the future of their city, show their will.” “I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed president for supporting Aydın. I am your sister who has been following Ms. Özlem Çerçıoğlu for many years. When we look at her services, I would like to express that I see a centuries-old love for intellectuals, not a love for a one-day seat.” he said.

Stating that Çerçioğlu is a will that worries not for his own future, but for the streets, villages and fig-scented plains of Aydın, İnan continued as follows:

“I saw that real stance in Ankara, which ignores the sterile calculations and personal interests and says ‘Aydın first, nation first’. Therefore, the service does not have an ideology. As we see in Aydın, he is a lover of the work and the service. Especially We believe that our citizens of Aydın will give them the necessary answer at the first ballot box, especially those who work day and night to criticize a metropolitan mayor who has established himself in the hearts of the people of Aydın. Therefore, no one should get too excited or rub their hands. Our mayor, Özlem Çerçioğlu, is never alone on this path. He has loyal citizens on his right, his fellow citizens on his left, and the strong, brave and brave AK Party on his side. “They always have their staff. And most importantly, our presidents and organizations are with us. Behind our president is the unwavering support of the brave-hearted Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.”

Claiming that there are construction profiteers and thieves on the side of the CHP, İnan stated that those who reveal their own internal conflicts and endless battles for seats are also in the CHP.

“THIS DICTATORSHIP HAS TAKEN ÖZGÜR ÖZEL AND HIS ENVIRONMENT HOSTAGE”

Stating that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel is in a captive position as chairman, İnan said:

“We are saying it clearly, we are saying it clearly and underlining it. Today, a ‘Silivri Dictatorship’ has been established within the Republican People’s Party. This dictatorship has taken Özgür Özel and his circle hostage. Look, he recently said something ‘just for fun’ and made prophecies about the future of the court. I would like to put forward a meme for him from Aydın to be shared with our fellow citizens from Aydın after 2 years. I say ‘to be a joke’, but in fact it is a serious warning from here. “If you do not clean up the Silivri dictatorship established within the Republican People’s Party today, if you do not speak out against that espionage network, those dirty relations, those background operations, know that they will do ten times more to you than they did to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, whom they nominated as their presidential candidate. Those who applaud you today never know that they will be the target of the same order tomorrow. Because this dirty mentality has a rule: Those who support you today will liquidate them tomorrow.”

Minister Göktaş invited citizens to sign the ‘Child Rights Convention’

Published

on

Minister Göktaş explained the importance they attach to the “Children’s Rights Convention in the Digital World” and the necessity of the agreement with the video he shared on his social media account. Göktaş also stated in his post that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was one of the first to sign the contract, and stated that the sole purpose is to protect children against the risks of the digital world and raise them as more conscious individuals.

“THERE SHOULD BE A SAFER SPACE FOR CHILDREN”

Inviting parents, teachers and children to sign the contract with the video he shared, Göktaş said, “Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, shares his own child’s face covering on his own platform. So why is he not so sensitive about our children? The founder of Snapchat gives his child only 1.5 hours of screen time per week. Netflix’s CEO: ‘Our biggest rival is sleep.’ he says. In other words, while they are trying to make our children stay on these platforms longer, they are trying to keep their own children away from them.” he said.

Stating that they are working to make these platforms safer spaces for children, Göktaş said:

“Dear children, we are trying to prevent you from encountering content that is not appropriate for your age, from people you do not know on social media reaching you and harming you. This is exactly why we attach great importance to the Convention on Children’s Rights in the Digital World, of which our President is one of the first signatories. Let me tell you this, we attach great importance to our children’s effective use of technology. We support Teknofests, DENEYAP workshops, TUBITAK competitions, startup supports and many technology-related events for our children. Our aim here is “To ensure that our children use technology correctly and to protect them from content that is mentally, psychologically and developmentally harmful.”

Clear message from Minister Gürlek: “Together we will break the perception that justice favors the strong”

Published

on

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek visited the Istanbul Regional Administrative Court. Minister Gürlek, who came together with the Regional Administrative Court Department Heads and Administrative Court Presidents at the meeting, stated in his speech that they wanted to hear the problems experienced in practice on site and said, “We came to listen to your problems. If there are problems you encounter regarding the practice, we are here with our deputy ministers.”

Pointing out that there are two main problems affecting trust in the judiciary, Minister Gürlek said that the sense of trust in courthouses is not at the desired level. Minister of Justice Gürlek said, “There are two main reasons for this. The first is the lengthening of cases and trials. The second is the perception that justice is on the side of the powerful. You all work very hard. I am sure of this. You take files to your homes. All judges and prosecutors working in Istanbul definitely compromise their families. They compromise themselves. As a colleague of yours, I ask you to take care of your files. I request that the trial periods do not get longer. We are a big family. We all share the perception that justice is on the side of the powerful. We will break it.” he said. Calling on members of the judiciary at the meeting, Minister Akın Gürlek drew attention to the importance of concluding the cases within a reasonable time. Minister Gürlek said, “I want you to protect your files. I want you to put yourself in the shoes of the citizens. A stay of execution decision you make as an administrative judiciary can lock the system momentarily.” he said.

DELAYED FILES WILL BE FOLLOWED CLOSELY

Minister Gürlek stated that they attach importance to target periods in the judiciary and said, “If a case is not completed within the target period, there must be a reasonable reason for this. If there is workload, a new court will be established or judges and personnel will be reinforced. But if there is a delay caused by the judge, necessary action will be taken.” he said. Stating that the judicial organization is a large structure, Minister Akın Gürlek emphasized that they will fight against people who harm the profession.

“WE ARE THINKING OF BUYING APPROXIMATELY 300 RESIDENCES IN ESENLER”

Stating that the housing opportunities for judges and prosecutors in Istanbul will be increased, Minister Gürlek announced that new housing has been purchased on the Anatolian side and a new project is planned in Esenler. Minister Gürlek said, “We bought new lodgings on the Anatolian Side. We are planning to buy approximately 300 lodgings in Esenler. We will solve the lodging problem.” he said. Minister Gürlek also touched upon the regulation regarding the term of office in Istanbul within the scope of the principle decisions of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors. Stating that Istanbul will be evaluated within the scope of the eastern mission, Minister Gürlek said that the term of office has been determined as 10 years.
