On this occasion, let me say this once again. The Republic of Turkey is the guarantor of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the whole of Cyprus. Everyone should know that Türkiye will never give up using its guarantor status here. “We want it to be clearly seen and understood by everyone that no fait accompli will be allowed that will not be accepted by our Turkish Cypriots, our Turkish brothers and the State of the Republic of Turkey.”

But we will continue to fly both the flag of the Republic of Turkey and the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus freely side by side. The presence of the Turkish soldier on the island is not a matter of debate for the Turkish Cypriot people. Turkish soldiers exist and will continue to exist. It is stated that the total financial value of the agreement will exceed 700 million dollars.
STRATEGIC GESTURE BEFORE THE NATO SUMMIT!

This move, which comes at a time when defense expenditures are being discussed within the alliance, is clear evidence that the ice between the two countries is melting.
NO STEP BACK DESPITE THE “DEMOCRAT” OBSTACLE IN CONGRESS
There was also a behind-the-scenes war of diplomacy behind the sales process.
