We encountered many difficulties. We have gone through many troubles. But every time we rose from the ashes like a phoenix. Until today, we have not placed our hopes on anyone other than our own strength in ensuring the security of our state. We established our Republic with this understanding. We continued our fight against terrorism for more than 40 years with this understanding. We paid a heavy price. We have achieved very important gains. Türkiye has shown everyone, friend and foe alike, that it has become a playmaking actor in the region.

“TERRORISM-FREE Türkiye IS THE STATE VISION”

The Terror-free Türkiye process is the name of a strategic state vision. As soon as we let our guard down, they will not give us the right to live on these lands. We have no choice but to be strong.

In our age’s understanding of security, both the attack on power lines and the cyber threat that renders the banking system inoperable fall directly within the scope of national security. Software plays a decisive role on the battlefield as much as tanks and missiles.

“ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ALSO PRESENTS SERIOUS RISKS”

We attach great importance to data security. When used correctly, artificial intelligence accelerates the decision-making process. Artificial intelligence also poses serious risks. Treating artificial intelligence as a security issue with ethical, legal and social dimensions is an obligation rather than a choice.

Türkiye has become one of the countries that study the battlefields best. We tried to constantly improve ourselves. We minimized our foreign dependency by strengthening our defense industry.

We see very clearly the value of the capacity we have when we look at the crisis that surrounds us. We will build the great and powerful Türkiye, step by step, which finds its meaning in the expression “Turkish Century”. Our source of inspiration is our nation. As long as the Turkish nation exists, our state will continue to exist.

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi gave important messages to young people at the Grand Turkey Final of the Turkey Debate Competition organized by the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA).
