165 million TL bribery scheme was questioned
Today is the day of reckoning in the IMM case, which is the corruption of the century, in which 161 billion public losses were incurred and bribery and corruption were described in 143 actions. The trial of 407 defendants, 107 of whom were detained, including the leader of the organization Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was asked to be imprisoned for up to 2 thousand 352 years, continued on its 11th day.
The president of the court said to Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, “You did not give a detailed statement about Adem Soytekin. Could you give your detailed statement regarding this issue?” posed the question. Çalık replied, “I know him closely, I know his family, I know his children. However, I have never given an instruction saying ‘Give Adem Soytekin this, give him that’.”

Fatih Keleş’s nephew, İBB İsper A.Ş. The defendant Murat Keleş, whose employee is detained, was asked about businessman Ahmet Sari’s statements in the indictment that he delivered 169 million 500 thousand TL of bribe money to his older brother Zafer Keleş and his nephew Murat Keleş at the Presidential Residence in Florya on different dates.
Murat Keleş, who answered “Zero TL” to the question of his monthly income, explained the detention and detention process. We did not meet outside with my uncle, I was not personally close to him.” Rejecting the allegations in Ahmet Sari’s statement, Keleş said, “It is a lie. We met when you were together with my uncle. I did not take money from him.”
Defense will be heard in the case only on Monday next week. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, requests for release from detained defendants who have not made a defense will be received. A detention evaluation will be held on Thursday. It is expected that the case, which is expected to end at the end of April, will be delayed.

1097 houses found their owners in Kocaeli
Within the scope of the Cedit District Urban Transformation Project implemented in Kocaeli, a draw was held for a total of 1105 independent sections consisting of 1097 residences and 8 commercial units. Speaking at the ceremony held at Kocaeli International Congress Center, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum said that the project is one of the most important transformation works in the history of Kocaeli.
Drawing attention to the earthquake reality of Kocaeli, Kurum stated that the main purpose of urban transformation is to provide citizens with safe housing. He stated that the importance of the houses built after the 2020 Elazığ Earthquake in 2020 and the 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquake in 2023 was better understood.
Emphasizing that risky buildings in Cedit District have been replaced by modern and safe living spaces, Kurum said that the region has been rebuilt with parks, green areas and social facilities. While the beneficiaries of 1097 houses were determined with the draw, the date for key delivery was also announced.
Minister Kurum announced that key deliveries will begin on Monday, June 22, and all houses will be delivered before the schools open. He also stated that citizens’ debts were fixed according to the terms of the first tender in June 2023, and that there would be no price increases or updates after this date, and provided financial assurance to the beneficiaries.
WE WANT THAT THERE IS NO ONE WHO DOESN’T HAVE A HOUSE.
MURAT KURUM: The earthquake zone is over, we will start 500 thousand new social housing. We have drawn the lots and we will start deliveries in March 2027. We want there to be no one left without a home. In this context, we offer access to 20 thousand houses to our middle-income citizens in 64 provinces under TOKİ Presidency. There are 423 residences in Kocaeli. Sales take place on Monday. I believe that these houses will be a precaution against earthquake risk in Kocaeli.

Hope came to the same person three times
Zübeyir Güçlü, who has been at the forefront of issues such as organ and stem cell donation throughout his life, donated stem cells to the same patient three times. Güçlü, who received the “Stem Cell Donor” award from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Turkish Red Crescent Awards for his sacrifices, told SABAH his story that touched hearts and taught a lesson in humanity.
ONE OF THE FIRST APPLICANTS
Güçlü aimed to help people throughout his life after his search for healing started with his mother’s heart disease when he was still in primary school. Güçlü, who is also an organ donor candidate, was one of the first volunteers of stem cell donation. Explaining how he made his first donation, Güçlü said, “One day, I received a phone call from the Red Crescent. They said that I matched with a patient and asked me if I wanted to donate. When they tried to explain the risks and procedures to me, I said, ‘I know, I volunteered years ago knowing these.
I said, ‘As long as our patient gets better.’ “I became a donor without hesitation, thinking that it could happen to someone close to me,” he said. Güçlü, who accepted to lie on the operating table again without thinking when he received a phone call from the Red Crescent 11 months after making his first donation, said, “I donated for the second time. Approximately 3-4 months later, I made a third donation as a ‘reminder dose’ in order to reduce the patient’s risk. “So I donated to the same patient three times,” he said.
MY MARTYR BROTHER WAS CARED ABOUT
Güçlü said that one of his biggest supporters during the donation process was his sister Zahide Güçlü, who was later martyred in the TAI attack that left Türkiye in mourning. Güçlü said, “When my donation process started, my late sister said to me, ‘Brother, I admire you very much. You are instrumental in such a beautiful thing. I wish I could donate too.'” Stating that his little nephew, aunt and uncle also received oncology treatment for similar diseases, Güçlü said, “Actually, this situation is like giving way to an ambulance or trying to save someone. The person you save may be the person who will save the world in the future. As stated in the Surah Maide in the Holy Quran; saving one person is like saving the whole world.”
YOU ARE PASSING CHECK-UP
Emphasizing that there is a lack of knowledge and fear about stem cell donation, Güçlü said, “When people talk about stem cell donation, they ask, ‘Will a piece of me go out or will they enter through my spinal cord?’ he worries. They should definitely not hesitate. “Before donation, the donor undergoes a very serious and robust check-up and the entire process is carried out confidentially,” he said.
I’M HONORED
Güçlü, who received the “Stem Cell Donor” award at the Turkish Red Crescent Awards with his chain of sacrifices, said, “I was very proud when I was called for the award. It was an honor to receive this award from our President amid his busy schedule. I first donated my organs in 1996 when I received my driver’s license. Due to my faith and consciousness, I knew that if it would heal someone, I could do it easily. My request to our society is that they should not be afraid of being a stem cell donor.”

Mathematics made me sweat in LGS, paragraphs were difficult
The 2026 High School Entrance Exam (LGS), in which more than 1 million 8th grade students participated, ended yesterday. In the first part of the exam, which was held in two sessions, students completed the verbal field test consisting of 50 questions in 75 minutes; 80 minutes were given for the 40-question numerical field test in the second session. The results will be announced on July 10. In LGS, questions with strong distractor options and multiple outcomes attracted attention. Long and attention-requiring paragraphs challenged the students. Mathematics and religious culture questions were the most decisive lessons of the exam.

THE ONE PREPARED WITH MEBI WON
Experts who analyzed the questions said that students studying with the sample questions published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and the artificial intelligence-supported digital education platform MEBI will make a difference in the exam. Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin also expressed this issue at every opportunity, emphasizing that there was no need for students and parents to turn to private lessons or courses, and said that school and ministry resources were sufficient. Educators also commented, “It seems that the Ministry’s emphasis on the need to carefully examine course materials has been reciprocated in this exam as well.” Department heads of Bilfen Secondary Schools evaluated the 2026 LGS questions to SABAH as follows:
TURKISH: Unlike previous years, it is observed that semantic knowledge questions with high reading load and high level of distraction have increased. It can be said that the exam has a highly selective nature, measuring reading comprehension, interpretation, inference and attention skills rather than knowledge.

MATHEMATICS: There are 4 easy, 11 medium difficulty and 5 high difficulty questions. We can say that this is an exam in which students who can use their time well and have high processing skills will be more successful.
SCIENCE SCIENCES: Question texts have become shorter, but the mental processing level has increased. In other words, we can say that it is an exam in which the student who is unable to transfer knowledge is eliminated, not the one who is tired of studying. Just reading the text was not enough to solve the questions. The ability to synthesize information based on clues in the text was measured.

HISTORY OF THE REVOLUTION: It is seen that questions that measure the ability to make inferences well are included. Questions; It has been prepared in a way that requires mastering the subjects and concepts, reading the paragraph until the end, and looking at the information given holistically.
RELIGIOUS CULTURE: The exam included two different question groups that directly measured knowledge and required interpretation based on the text. Inference questions measured reading comprehension, ability to analyze the paragraph without taking it out of context, and ability to focus carefully.
ENGLISH: Most of the questions in the exam were based on daily life situations, and students were expected to reach their conclusions by analyzing the information given.

Gülistan Doku’s body was searched at 200 locations
The search for Munzur University student Gülistan Doku, who has not been heard from since January 5, 2020 in Tunceli and who was revealed to have been the victim of an organized murder at the beginning of this year, continues. To date, searches have been carried out at nearly 200 locations in Tunceli center and districts, while excavations have also been carried out in suspicious areas with the participation of Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor Ebru Cansu.
EVERY DETAIL IS BEING EXAMINED
Gülistan Doku investigation suspect Umut Altaş, who was determined to have gone to the USA in 2003 and was detained and arrested by the FBI after the Red Notice issued against him, said in an interview, “I don’t know the exact location of the body, but it may be somewhere around the university, in deserted places where people do not come, around Aktuluk Neighborhood. They should look at the blind spots in that neighborhood where no one visits. Also, the garbage dump next to the water treatment facilities in Bayraktepe should definitely be checked.” Taking Altaş’s statements into consideration, the teams started a comprehensive search in Aktuluk District Dinar Stream, Munzur University surroundings and Sarısaltuk Viaduct area. The teams search through narrowed base data and suspicious points. Thanks to infrared signals, a three-dimensional image of the underground is obtained and suspicious areas are examined in detail.

24/7 protection for the Green Homeland – Breaking News
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı said, “Today, we are providing an air shield to our green homeland against forest fires with 28 planes, 119 helicopters and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles. With this power, we have the capacity to throw a total of 462 tons of water. Compared to last year, we increased the number of aircraft from 146 to 161.” Minister Yumaklı, in his speech at the “Green Homeland Heroes on Duty” program held at Selçuk Efes Airport in Izmir, said that they consider the fight against forest fires as a responsibility to protect the homeland and leave a stronger Turkey to future generations.

Pointing out that increasing temperatures, prolonged dry periods and strong winds due to the effects of climate change increase the risk of forest fires, Yumaklı stated that they continue their preparations with a stronger, planned and technological approach every year. Emphasizing that aircraft are one of the most important factors in controlling fires, Yumaklı said: “Today, we are providing an air shield to our green homeland against forest fires with 28 aircraft, 119 helicopters and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles. With this power, we have the capacity to throw a total of 462 tons of water. Compared to last year, we increased the number of aircraft from 146 to 161. Our aircraft serve in regions where fire risk is high all over our country.” at the beginning.”

NEW DEPLOYMENT POINTS
Yumaklı said, “The new deployment points, especially in the Western Black Sea Region, will significantly shorten the time it takes for our aircraft to reach the fire area in these regions.” Stating that very light class helicopters will be used more effectively for rapid intervention in the first minutes of the fire, Yumaklı stated that they have increased the capacity of the land force. Yumaklı pointed out that they have made a significant increase in land force and said, “We increased the number of watercraft from 1766 to 1930, the number of first response vehicles from 2 thousand 742 to 2 thousand 751, and the number of construction equipment from 831 to 868.”

We produce our technologies ourselves – Last Minute News
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the Turkey Artificial Intelligence Summit organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in Tersane Istanbul: We all know very well that political, military and economic power cannot be handled independently of digital sovereignty, and that digital capacity is a deterrent force multiplier. Türkiye is one of the rare countries that noticed this transformation in technology early and shaped its measures, policies and practices accordingly. We now produce technologies ourselves, for which we were previously dependent on external sources. We shape all stages from R&D to mass production with our own resources. Most importantly, the TEKNOFEST generation that will make our National Technology Move the highlight of the Turkish Century; It is embroidering the present and the future with its determination, skill and projects. And we continue on our way with determination. We are determined to build a great and powerful Türkiye in the digital field in the Turkish Century by taking advantage of the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence. We expect the added value produced by the resources we will mobilize with the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Action Plan to exceed 1 trillion liras. We will provide artificial intelligence literacy to 5 million citizens and train 10 thousand artificial intelligence experts and 100 thousand artificial intelligence application professionals.
HERE IS THE LOCAL AND NATIONAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SAGE
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır introduced Türkiye’s local and national artificial intelligence Bilge, which was also introduced in the program attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Before the program, Kacır shared a post on his social media account, including his dialogue with Bilge. In the video, Kacır says, “Hello Bilge. I am Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology.” Bilge says, “Hello Mr. Minister, I am very pleased to meet you. How can I help you?” he said. Kacır said, “The team that developed you expresses that you are Türkiye’s local and national artificial intelligence model. How would you describe yourself?” Bilge answered the question: “I am a local and national artificial intelligence assistant developed for Türkiye’s needs. I am here to provide you and all users with the most accurate information in the most natural way.”
‘YOUR POWER IS YOUR YOUNG POPULATION’
Pointing out that Bilge was trained with billions of pages of data, Kacır said, “In the light of this data, what do you think are our opportunities and strengths that make Türkiye more advantageous than other countries?” In response to the question, Bilge said, “Türkiye’s greatest strength is its young and dynamic population and strategic geographical location. In addition, our production capacity and rapid adaptation to digital transformation make us very advantageous on a global scale.”
GIVES ADVICE TO YOUTH
When Minister Kacır asked about Türkiye’s strengths in the field of artificial intelligence and his advice to young people on this subject, Bilge said: “Our successes in the defense industry and our developing technology ecosystem are our greatest strengths. In addition, our talented young population and data diversity in software development make us stand out in this field. I recommend that young people not only use the tools but also focus on the foundations of mathematics and logic to understand how these systems work. In addition, they should maintain their sense of curiosity, be open to continuous learning and develop interdisciplinary projects, which will take them to the future.” ready.” Minister Kacır told Bilge about the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Summit in Istanbul and asked him if he would like to share the same stage with young people and talk about Türkiye’s artificial intelligence future in the same panel. Bilge replied, “Dear Minister, I am very honored by your kind invitation. I would love to share the same stage with you and valuable experts and talk about Türkiye’s artificial intelligence future. I can’t wait to be there. See you in Istanbul.”
NATIONAL MOVE PERIOD IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
President Erdoğan announced the 4-pronged Artificial Intelligence Action Plan one by one, saying, “The achievements we have achieved in technology are just the tip of the iceberg. We will take Türkiye among the leading countries of the artificial intelligence age.”
1. REALIZE: CONSCIOUS SOCIETY A national artificial intelligence literacy program will be launched to ensure that people of all ages understand artificial intelligence correctly. Education will be provided to 5 million citizens in 2 years.
2. USE IT: CONCRETE BENEFIT We will transform artificial intelligence into concrete benefit in every field, from public to industry, from education to health, from agriculture to security. We will provide accessible technology to our SMEs with artificial intelligence coupons.
3. PRODUCE: NATIONAL MODELS We will strengthen our digital independence with local Turkish Big Language Models such as “Wise”. We will support the realization of our initiatives with National Artificial Intelligence funds.
4. MANAGE: ISTANBUL WILL BE A SHOWCASE We will mobilize 10 billion dollars of resources in data center, cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructures. We will position Istanbul as Türkiye’s international showcase in artificial intelligence.

WE CANNOT DELIVER OUR DATA
Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar: Our goal is to build a fair world where technology serves people, not where people become mechanized. Global giants gain disproportionate power by blending all of humanity’s data with hundreds of thousands of processors. The monopolization of data means the captivity of minds and will from a single center. We can never consent to this. Instead of delivering our data to the servers of global giant monopolies, we should implement distributed learning and processing architectures.

I PLAYED HERE FOR SEVEN YEARS AND WAS TRANSFERRED
In the program, a video clip prepared by artificial intelligence for the Turkish National Football Team was shown. Thereupon, President Erdoğan said, “I was here, this was Camialtı, I was in secondary school. I played football here in the amateur group for seven years. This is at the Camialtı Shipyard. At that time, Binali Bey also worked here as an engineer. And from here, I was transferred to IETT. Then I continued at IETT for eight years. Of course, there is such an adventure in our lives.”

NORTH MACEDONIAN GUEST IN DOLMABAHÇE
President Erdoğan received the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski. The meeting held at Dolmabahçe Labor Office was closed to the press.
