CHP’s ‘transparency theatre’ collapsed in Antalya! AK Party member Ali Çetin: Instead of making speeches in Ankara, look at the real estate empire in Antalya!
A poisonous response came from AK Party Antalya Provincial Chairman Ali Çetin to the perception operation launched by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel over the assets of Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek. Çetin described it as political hypocrisy for Özgür Özel, who is a “monument of honesty” in Ankara, to “play dead” in the face of the corruption and title deed scandals “accumulating like a mountain” in his own municipality.
“DISCLOSE THE WEALTH OF THE DETENTED PRESIDENT, NOT THE DEED OF THE MINISTER!”
AK Party Antalya Provincial Chairman Ali Çetin stated that Özgür Özel was trying to change the agenda with unfounded allegations and invited the CHP leader to look at the dark relations in Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, which is governed by his own party. Çetin made the following harsh statements in his statement:
“Instead of investigating Mr. Minister Gürlek’s title deeds with imaginary figures, reveal the hidden wealth of Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek and the people around him, who are currently behind bars within the scope of a bribery and corruption operation. Are the over 600 title deed claims that have been talked about in the public for days true? If you are honest, first present the source of these huge properties to the public so that we can see who is transparent and who is not!”
THE “RANT NETWORK” EXTENDING FROM LONDON TO SPAIN HAS BEEN REVEALED
Ali Çetin said that the CHP administration “swallowed its tongue” not only in the Muhittin Böcek incident, but also in the face of grave allegations against the highest-level bureaucrats of the municipality. Drawing attention to the properties documented to belong to Secretary General Cansel Çevikol Tuncer and his family, Çetin continued his criticism as follows:
While a real estate empire stretching from London to Spain belongs to the most authorized person in your municipality, you will not say a word, but you will give speeches about honesty in Ankara. What a diet, what a sauerkraut! Özgür Özel’s so-called ‘holding to account’ discourse has fallen into this huge profit network in Antalya. He asked his own bureaucrat, ‘Where did these title deeds come from?’ What vision of justice can a Chairman who cannot ask, promise Türkiye?

“WHAT ARE SO MANY DEEDS LOOKING FOR IN FAMILIES WITHOUT COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES?”
Provincial Chairman Çetin, reminding that the scandal was not limited to the general secretary only and that similar allegations came to light about Böcek’s deputy Büşra Özdemir Dirgen and her family, criticized the CHP’s “shield of protection” with the following words:
Dozens of title deeds registered to family members who do not have any commercial activities stand in the middle of the city. For what ‘service’ were these properties acquired? Özgür Özel is trying to gain political space in Ankara while creating a protection shield for the rich people right under his nose. The ‘immunity armor’ that the CHP wears against these huge allegations of corruption and wealth within itself does not go unnoticed by the public.

“RESPECT THE JUDICIAL DECISION, DO NOT SPECULATE”
Emphasizing the seriousness of the bribery operation carried out on July 5, 2025, Ali Çetin stated that the judicial process should be followed meticulously and completed his statement with the following warning:
Everyone must respect the judicial decision. Political maneuvers carried out before the process is completed are just an effort to mislead the public. However, the people of Antalya see very well who is silent, who is covering up what, and who is building a profit-making empire. CHP management can no longer escape these facts.

Minister Göktaş: “We made the payments of marriage loans of 133 thousand young people”
“FOR THIS NATION, FAMILY IS NOT JUST THE 41st ARTICLE OF OUR CONSTITUTION”
AK Party Deputy Chairman Ömer İleri said that the concept of family is not a concept that can be put into short definitions and descriptions.
Pointing out the importance of family, İleri said, “I think that as long as a person does not embrace the concept of family, he will have difficulty in embracing the past and future of his nation. Therefore, the concept of family is the beginning of love and ownership. The feeling of love and ownership is probably one of the strongest feelings in our nature.” he said. Forward, emphasizing that love and ownership are miraculous feelings, said, “For this reason, I think those who serve the nation and the state always act with this awareness: ‘We serve not only the present of this nation, those who walk, live and breathe on the ground today, but also our past, those who are underground and our future, our unborn generations.’ “I think this understanding and this awareness should stem from the concept of family.” he said.
Explaining that there are intense attacks on the family institution, İleri said, “Through these attacks, they are trying to individualize us and make us self-centered. However, we have to express this. There is a point they have missed. For this nation, family is not limited to Article 41 of our Constitution. For this nation, family is love for the nation on one side, and historical responsibility on the other. Those who serve this nation act with the awareness of serving not only the present, but also our past and future. That is why it is possible for them to overthrow the concept of family and its perception of this nation.” “There is no.” he said. Underlining that very serious services have been achieved in terms of family under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, İleri made the following assessment: “We know that social transformations occur. Cultures can change at various points over time. However, in this country and in this nation, continuity on the basis of family is essential. Therefore, the continuity of our identity is essential. We will fight this fight until the end. Even if artificial intelligence comes and technologies advance, yes, we will be one of the countries that use them most effectively, but our current situation is “I wholeheartedly believe that no one will be able to break the chain we have established in terms of meaning.” In the program, Rize Governor İhsan Selim Baydaş, Rize Mayor Rahmi Metin, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Yılmaz and AK Party Rize Deputy Harun Mertoğlu also made speeches. After the panel, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş visited Rize Governorship and met with Governor İhsan Selim Baydaş.
Minister Göktaş then visited Rize Municipality and AK Party Provincial Directorate.

President Erdoğan: The international system is experiencing a legitimacy crisis
President Erdoğan touched upon important issues in the video message he sent to the International Strategic Communication Summit organized by the Presidential Communications Directorate in Istanbul.
“THE INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM IS EXPERIENCING A LEGITIMACY CRISIS”
Highlights from Erdoğan’s speech:
I hope that this important summit, organized with the theme of rupture in the international system, crises, narratives and the search for order, will be beneficial for all of us. I hope that the panels and sessions to be held over a wide range of topics, from leadership diplomacy to digital transformation, from conflict resolution to global climate governance, from migration and social policies to crisis management, will bring beneficial results for all humanity.
I would like to express my gratitude in advance to the participants for their valuable contributions to the summit with their ideas, findings, proposals and evaluations. I would also like to express my congratulations to our Directorate of Communications for successfully organizing this organization, whose framework, content and scope of influence expands every year.
The international system established by the victors after the World War is experiencing a major crisis of legitimacy in almost every field. The set of institutions, rules and values that form the basis of the system is losing its function day by day.
“WE ARE GOING THROUGH A DIFFICULT PERIOD WHERE CRISIS IS INCREASING”
We are going through a difficult period in which power competition is spreading to different areas such as energy, technology and trade, problems are being tried to be solved with weapons instead of dialogue, and genocides, wars and crises are escalating.
“It is more important than ever before to end the tragedies that hurt all of our hearts, as in Gaza, and to restore peace, tranquility and stability all over the world, especially in our region.”
