Drawing attention to the work carried out in the field of defense industry and emphasizing that they do not remain idle in this field, President Erdoğan said, “We are preparing ourselves against all kinds of scenarios in the current world order, where the mentality of ‘let the survivors survive’ prevails. We are currently the 11th largest country in the world in defense exports.” he said.

Stating that the brightest days of history have been experienced in military shipbuilding, as in other fields, Erdoğan stated that more than 140 naval platforms have been exported to all over the world to date, and more than 50 warships are currently manufactured in Turkish shipyards.

Pointing out that the level of pride that Turkish maritime has reached was witnessed once again on June 20, President Erdoğan said, “At the ceremony we held in Istanbul, we delivered the CAm. Roman corvette, which we developed with our own capabilities, to the Romanian Naval Forces. At the same ceremony, our Koçhisar Offshore Patrol Ship was included in the inventory of our navy. Thus, for the first time in our history, we exported a warship to a NATO and European Union member country. I wish you good luck.” he said.

Reminding that they hosted Polish President Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Complex on June 23, Erdogan said that they discussed many issues with Nawrocki, including cooperation in the field of defense industry.

Reminding that the previously determined trade volume target of 10 billion dollars with Poland was achieved and the new target was set as 15 billion dollars, President Erdoğan said, “Our contracting companies have undertaken projects worth 9 billion dollars in Poland. I believe that this figure will hopefully increase further. We also discussed the Russia-Ukraine war and the Iran crisis with Mr. President. We pointed out that both problems should end with a just peace.” he said.

We have met all the needs of 113 cemevi in our earthquake zone. We will soon complete the restoration and construction works of 13 demolished or heavily damaged cemevi. I have to underline here that politics is both about finding solutions to the nation’s problems and uniting the nation. It is done to integrate and increase the commons. Politics cannot be done by pitting people against each other, dividing our people, and seeking exploitation to score goals against their rivals in the power struggle within the party.

It is extremely wrong that the conflict within the main opposition party is gradually evolving from a reasonable ground to a logic of ‘fists do not count in a fight’. It is a much bigger mistake that our Alevi lives are wanted to be used in this. The best thing that the main opposition party, which is the architect of the pain experienced in the past, can do for the country on this issue is to come to terms with their bad record, if they really have the courage. No one should do politics based on the sensitivity of our Alevi citizens. Especially, one should not resort to abuse. The politics of discord has only harmed this country in the past. The policy of polarization has caused great pain to this nation. With God’s permission, we will not allow these to happen again. Stating that the unemployment rate decreased by 0.2 points compared to the same month of the previous year, and this rate reached 0.7 points among young people, Erdoğan said, “The number of employed people increased by 285 thousand people compared to the previous month, reaching 32 million 463 thousand people. We find it valuable that the unemployment rate has been in single digits for 37 months, at a time when the world is experiencing a storm of crisis.” he said.

First Lady Erdoğan attended the closing program of the ‘Volunteer Ambassadors Foster Family Vision Workshop’ held at the Presidential Directorate of Communications.

Speaking at the program, First Lady Erdoğan stated that they were together on the occasion of Foster Family Day and said that she expressed at every opportunity how much of a special place this meaningful day had in her heart. A total of 65 conflicts were recorded worldwide in 2025 alone. With the genocide launched by Israel on October 7, the largest orphan crisis in modern history occurred in Gaza. Approximately 37 thousand children became orphans. It is a fact that humanity owes all its children a warm home, a world full of justice and peace. Under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terrorist Crimes Investigation Bureau, a simultaneous operation was carried out against the DAESH terrorist organization by the Istanbul Police Department Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate and the Intelligence Branch Directorate teams. During the studies carried out, it was determined that Orhan Küçük, codenamed “Taxi Driver Muhammed”, allegedly led the supporters of the DAESH terrorist organization, organized religious conversations in illegal associations and masjids used by members of the organization, and collected money under the name of fitra, zakat and infak.

Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that the suspects made radical statements, made propaganda that the state was not governed according to Islamic provisions and that the administrators were in polytheism, and also carried out invitation and notification activities in order to gain a base for illegal mosques.

In this context, a simultaneous operation was carried out against a total of 43 addresses, 2 of which were illegal mosques, in 4 different districts of Istanbul. During the operation, 39 of the 42 suspects for whom an arrest warrant was issued were caught and detained. During the searches at the addresses, 1 unlicensed gun, 50 9-millimeter diameter cartridges, 2 cutting-piercing knives, 1 drone and many digital materials were seized.
It was learned that efforts to capture the 3 suspects are continuing.

There has been an important development in the bribery and corruption investigation carried out against CHP’s Seferihisar Municipality in Izmir. A total of 20 suspects, including the detained Seferihisar Mayor İsmail Adult, were sent to the courthouse. The procedures of the suspects detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Izmir Provincial Police Department Financial Crimes Branch teams were completed. Mayor Adult and 19 suspects were taken out of the Provincial Police Department Yesilyurt Service Building and sent to Seferihisar Courthouse.

Within the scope of the investigation, the organized structure consisting of jewelers, workshop makers, mold makers and marketers called “bag makers” operating in Kahramanmaraş, Mersin, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Bursa, Hatay, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Kilis and Sivas was exposed. During the findings, it was determined that 21 of the 31 jewelers and 26 of the 29 workshops subject to the investigation were operating in Kahramanmaraş. In this context, 53 in Kahramanmaraş, 1 in Göksun, 1 in Türkoğlu, 1 in Elbistan, 4 in Kilis, 3 in Gaziantep, 1 in Bursa, 1 in İskenderun district of Hatay, 1 in Payas district, 2 in Sivas, 1 in Malatya, 2 in Mersin, 1 in Diyarbakır, 1 in Çermik district and Proceedings were initiated against a total of 71 suspects, including 1 in Şanlıurfa.
