AK Party Deputy Chairman Yayman: NATO summit was a sign of Türkiye’s emergence on the global world stage
In his speech at his party’s Kilis Provincial Advisory Council Meeting, Yayman said that Kilis is a border city and deserves all kinds of services.
Stating that Kilis achieved very important gains during the AK Party governments, Yayman said:
“With the Amanos Tunnel, we will shorten the coastal road by 90 kilometers and hopefully bring a port to Kilis and the sea to Kilis. We will work day and night with our very valuable organization to bring Kilis to the place it deserves. We will make more efforts to ensure that Kilis takes the place it deserves in the Turkish Century.”
Yayman underlined that it is very important to hold the NATO summit in Türkiye and continued as follows:
“The NATO summit was the sign of Türkiye’s emergence on the global world stage. The NATO summit was the scene of the beginning of the Turkey Century. (Referring to CHP) Therefore, no matter what you say, we do not hope for help from your words. We already know that you are standing on the wrong side of history. We have already given up hope on you.
The Nato summit is the sign of Türkiye’s rise to the global power podium. As a nation, we will make the 21st century Türkiye’s century. While Türkiye was described as a sick man by westerners, today it has become a global power.
Our Nation is proud of the summit. Despite all kinds of disinformation, perception operations and disdain of CHP members, our nation believes in what it sees. The opposition is behaving like the Irish among us. We want local and national opposition
The opposition has only one project. It is anti-Tayyip Erdoğan. There is not a single promising work for our nation. They are at war with themselves. Otherwise, why would they be ashamed of the mehter march?
THE NATION HAS GIVEN UP HOPE FROM CHP
The nation has also lost hope in you. Our President always says, ‘We have provided great services in 25 years’, but unfortunately, there was no local and national opposition. Here you see today. CHP member complaining, CHP member being complained about… CHP member saying “I gave the money”, CHP member saying “I took the money”,
The CHP member who confessed, the CHP member who applied to the court. This is your own internal business. There is no AK Party and the People’s Alliance anywhere in the seat wars within the Republican People’s Party. In my opinion, this war in CHP will intensify in the coming times.
Yayman stated that they will work hard as the AK Party organization and make President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan president for another term. Our nation needs Tayyip Erdoğan for one more term. I hope we will make him president again.
We made our President, who they said could not even be a headman, president. We realized our nation’s dreams one by one. Now we are working to write the success story of the second 25 years. Our race is with ourselves. The AK Party’s rival is the AK Party.”
At the meeting, AK Party Kilis Deputy Ahmet Salih Dal and AK Party Kilis Provincial Chairman Serhan Diyarbakırlı also made speeches. The program ended with badges being presented to those who joined the AK Party.
After visiting the family of the martyr, the delegation visited the tradesmen of Kilis and listened to their problems. Listening to the complaints and suggestions of the tradesmen, Yayman stated that they took note of the problems and would forward them to the Ministers.

5 million lira for 2 years of pleasure
While the repercussions of the bribery and corruption investigations carried out in Bursa, which resulted in the arrest of former CHP Presidents Turgay Erdem and Mustafa Bozbey, continued, a new scandal broke out. It turned out that CHP, which ruled Bursa for 2 years, used public institutions as if they were their father’s farm. It was understood that CHP Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş carried out all the party’s activities in BURFAŞ facilities affiliated with the Metropolitan Municipality within 2 years and did not pay a single penny.
It was revealed that CHP member Mustafa Bozbey, who is the head of the Metropolitan Municipality, gave away all the municipality’s resources to the provincial organization. After CHP’s Mustafa Bozbey was arrested and sent to prison within the scope of bribery and corruption investigations, AK Party’s Şahin Biba and his management, who was elected Deputy President in the parliamentary election, revealed a new scandal. After the local elections, it was understood that the social facilities of the Metropolitan Municipality were given to the CHP provincial organization and all meetings, meals, events and organizations were held in BURFAŞ facilities for 2 years. The Municipality, which took action after the scandal emerged, rolled up its sleeves to collect the collection of all unpaid events. A warning letter was sent to the CHP Bursa Provincial Administration through a notary for the receivable of 5 million 55 thousand TL.
HE PLACED HIS SON TO A JOB AT IBB
It was revealed that Nihat Yeşiltaş, who was among the Provincial Mayors suspended from his duty by KEMAL Kılıçdaroğlu, employed his son Ozan Hasret Yeşiltaş as the personnel responsible for events in the Department of Culture of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in return for his support to Özgür Özel, before the CHP congress, which was canceled by the court decision. Yeşiltaş and his son’s statements were taken by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office during the congress trial.

Safety shield against earthquake risk
TAMP, which was first issued in 2014, is revised in 2022 and updated by taking into account the lessons learned from the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and the recommendations of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Research Commission. While the TAMP draft will be opened to public opinion, public institutions and private sector representatives will be able to submit their opinions and suggestions regarding TAMP until the end of next week. The plan was prepared by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of the evaluations made with the ministries, institutions and organizations involved in disasters and emergencies.
EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN
Acting as a single body in 81 provinces in case of possible disasters, Türkiye also determines the priority provinces that will help with all its teams and equipment in order to plan the coordination that the provinces need. In this context, while 17 provinces were determined to immediately help Istanbul in case of disaster in the previous TAMP, the number is increased to 23. In case of a possible Istanbul earthquake, “İzmir, Samsun, Antalya, Ankara, Bursa, Eskişehir, Sakarya, Afyonkarahisar, Kayseri, Kastamonu, Bolu, Kırklareli, Zonguldak, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Konya, Bilecik, Balıkesir, Erzurum, Rize, Gaziantep, Trabzon, Adana” will mobilize all their resources. Public institutions and organizations, universities, municipalities and special administrative organizations, private sector, professional chambers and unions will act as a single body.
NO FLASHING ALLOWED
During intervention and pre-treatment works, no behavior will be committed that violates human rights or harms human dignity.
While taking and sharing images of helpless, injured or crying victims during rescue efforts, funerals or aid distribution without permission leads to exhibitionism, these are prohibited by the draft. Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) President Ali Hamza Pehlivan made statements about the ongoing risk reduction and precaution projects across the country. Pehlivan said, “According to the United Nations and World Bank data, 1 unit of investment in disaster risk reduction activities can prevent 4 to 7 units of economic loss that may occur after the disaster.”

No objection to KAAN engine – Last Minute News
While the issue of defense industry cooperation has an important place in reaching the 100 billion dollar trade volume target between Türkiye and the USA, the messages given in this field began to become concrete after the Erdogan-Trump summit. The official objection period in the US Congress regarding the sale of F-110 engines, which Türkiye plans to use until the domestic engine projects for the 5th generation fighter jet KAAN are finalized, has expired. The objection period, which is normally 30 days in the USA, was applied as 15 days because Türkiye is a NATO ally. On June 26, the US State Department made an official notification to Congress regarding the issue. As of yesterday, the Congressional legal review process regarding F-110 engine exports was completed. With the completion of the review period, the sales process will continue without any congressional obstacle, without the issue being discussed in the House of Representatives or the Senate General Assembly. President Donald Trump’s signature is also required to complete the sale. It is pointed out that there is no problem in the supply of F-110 engines, as Trump has pointed out that there will be no problems in this regard in Ankara. Although some members of Congress expressed their objections on the grounds of S-400 throughout the process, a joint rejection decision that would stop the sale could not be passed.
FIDAN: WE WILL REACH THE RESULT
Meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan in Ankara, US Senate NATO Observation Group Co-Chair and Foreign Relations Committee Senior Member Jeanne Shaheen also gave positive messages about Türkiye’s return to the F-35 project. Regarding the CAATSA and F-35 negotiations with the USA, Minister Fidan said, “From the very beginning, we do not want any sanctions between the allies. CAATSA is one of them. The issue regarding the F-35 is also one of them. Now, as long as this will is here in both leaders, we, as ministries, are taking appropriate steps to solve these issues. Hopefully, we will reach a result soon, I think there will be no problem with this.”

NATO said it would continue under Türkiye’s influence
NATO’s effective, deterrent and “peace”-oriented foreign policy approach has affected the fate of the world. The 36th NATO heads of state and government summit, which is considered the most critical summit in NATO history, asked “Okay or continue?” It was the place where the answer to the question was sought. US President Donald Trump, who attended the summit due to his close friendship with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the fact that the summit was held in Türkiye, announced last April that he was seriously considering withdrawing the US from NATO, criticizing the allies’ lack of support for regional conflicts such as Iran. After the Ankara summit, Trump stated that NATO had made great progress in sharing the financial burden, and painted an optimistic picture about resolving regional crises and new trade agreements after the summit. Finally, since the NATO Summit was held in Ankara, the spirit of solidarity of the allies was clearly manifested. President Erdoğan also stated that the foundations of a stronger NATO were laid in Ankara, in which the European allies within the Alliance will assume more responsibilities and military capacities will be strengthened through a fair burden sharing.
ANSWER IS IN THE NOTIFICATION
The statements in the summit declaration, “An attack against one ally is an attack against all allies. Our unity, solidarity and collective power continue to be the basis of peace, security and prosperity for the 1 billion citizens in our Alliance of free and democratic nations. We remain committed to our 360-degree approach to deterrence and defense” proved that the allies responded “Continue” to the question “Okay or continue?” in Ankara.
SIGN TO ANKARA
The announcement of the new supply agreement in Ankara, worth more than 50 billion dollars, was a critical step towards the future of the Alliance. The alliance’s commitment to work together to increase its collective production capacity and efforts to eliminate defense trade barriers between allies were added to the declaration under the influence of Ankara. Turkey was also the location pointed out in the statement “We will benefit from NATO partnerships to maximize the depth and cooperation in the defense industry.”
EU’S INITIATIVES SHOULD BE COMPLEMENTARY
While EUROPEAN countries are making intense efforts to keep their bilateral relations with the Turkish defense industry at a high level, some countries have made reservations for their inclusion in initiatives such as SAFE created by the European Union (EU), with attempts to prevent it. This situation caused discomfort in many member countries of the union. Ankara, weighing in on being the host of the summit, underlined that the European Union’s initiatives in the field of defense should be complementary to NATO and should not lead to unnecessary duplication. In his statement after the summit, Erdoğan pointed out the need to follow a rational policy by saying, “When non-EU allies such as Turkey are not fully included in the Union’s defense initiatives, the effects of these initiatives will be very limited.”
