Yes, the will was ours and as a result, victory was ours. We once again wish God’s mercy to our martyrs and wish our veterans health, well-being and well-being.

‘WE SHOWED FRIENDS AND ENEMIES THAT THERE WILL BE NO COUP IN Türkiye BY WAVING HAND AND FAR’

Governor Gül said, “During that period, almost all of our nation left their differences aside and stood by the national will. When we looked at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, we saw that our deputies from every political party were resisting there while our parliament was being bombed. On the street, we witnessed that they did not look alike, did not think the same way, did not dress the same, but they all stood together against these coup plotters. “I WITHDRAWED TO AVOID CONFLICT”

Kılıçdaroğlu, who also clarified the authority discussions regarding the parliamentary group meeting, stated that he took a step back in order not to escalate the tension within the party.

“The group meeting is held by the Chairman under normal circumstances,” said Kılıçdaroğlu, “I withdrew to avoid a conflict and held the meeting at the Headquarters. The sacrifice falls on me here. CORRUPTION INVESTIGATION IN MUNICIPALITIES: “NOT ORDINARY INDICTMENTS”

Referring to the corruption and bribery investigations carried out against IMM and other CHP municipalities, Kılıçdaroğlu said:

“They are still in the trial phase. People can be tried. I have been advocating that our mayors be tried without detention from the very beginning. Being tried is something else. Our mayors can be held accountable. I looked at their files. I read all the indictments. They are not ordinary indictments.

No lawsuit was filed based on an allegation. The indictments are more than just ordinary indictments. This is the prosecutor’s indictment. There will also be a lawyer’s defense. CHP has a separate disciplinary board. Decisions here go to the Party Assembly. For example, PM did not accept one of the ones we sent.

On the anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, which was recorded as the biggest breaking point in Türkiye’s recent history, important witnesses of July 15 came together at the Institute Social building in Üsküdar. The witnesses who spoke here talked about the FETO militants and their aims on the night of the coup, and touched upon the struggle of the nation on the street against the organization. Institute Social General Coordinator and Presidential Social and Youth Policies Board member İpek Coşkun Armağan made the opening speech. Videos and narratives prepared about July 15 were shown. Then, the then Advisor to the Prime Minister Necdet Subaşı, Writer Hasan Mert Kaya, then Istanbul Provincial Police Chief Mustafa Çalışkan, former Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak, then Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ and A News anchor Banu El, who broadcast on the night of the coup, took the stage as speakers respectively.

“NO POLICE WILL SURRENDER THEIR WEAPONS OR LEAVE THEIR DUTY”

Stating that they were planning a terrorist operation against ISIS in the office on Vatan Street when the coup attempt started, Mustafa Çalışkan said that the soldier reflexively gave an order upon the news that the police were trying to confiscate his gun. Çalışkan emphasized that they instilled a clear stance in all personnel in the field that night with the words “No police officer will ever surrender his weapon. If necessary, resistance will be resisted, if necessary, weapons will be used.” Stating that this instruction eliminated moments of hesitation, Çalışkan stated that this order, which spread in waves through radio and social media channels, went beyond the borders of Istanbul and became one of the most important breaking points of the resistance throughout Turkey.

Sharing the details of his meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan later in the night, Çalışkan stated that they continued the fight with determination even though they only had one armored vehicle left in the city. Çalışkan stated that he understood the importance of the situation and immediately called the teams at the airport upon President Erdoğan’s question “What is the condition of the tower?”, and said that they cleared the tower from the coup plotters and ensured that the President landed safely at the airport, with the instruction: “Die there if necessary, but answer me within 15-20 minutes by saying we took the tower back.”

“HEROES LIKE OUR MANAGER SHOWED GREAT WITNESS”

Former Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak took the microphone after Mustafa Çalışkan and said:

“There are many historical memories that took place on the night of July 15, some of which will go to the grave with us, and hopefully, when the day comes, all of them will be obvious. While we were tested both personally and with our children that night, heroes like our manager Mustafa showed great resilience without even having the opportunity to say goodbye to his children; may God be pleased with him. That dark night was a time when not only the state institutions, but also millions of citizens, with the help of God, and a peace descended from the sky, against an organized coup that was planned months or years ago.” It is an unprecedented epic in which he stood in front of the tanks with his bare hands with emotion. Even though we would not have been able to bring this many people together under normal circumstances by saying “Let’s meet on the bridge at 9 o’clock”, this treacherous operation was eliminated thanks to the tremendous mercy and prayers that fell on our nation that night.

“ONE OF THE TWO PILOTS WAS A FETO MEMBER AND HE TRIED TO GUIDE US”

“What we experienced during our plane journey is the clearest evidence of how critical operations were managed that night. Since our phones were tapped, we made surprise moves through Bodrum, Aydın, Izmir and Dalaman alternatives so that we could not guess where we would go; as a matter of fact, when we landed in Dalaman at the last minute and boarded the plane, the pilots, one of whom we later learned was a FETO member, tried to direct us there, even though we knew that Sabiha Gökçen was in trouble. Despite all the efforts to prevent Ataturk Airport from saying “They might have pulled a truck onto the runway, we might crash”, we landed safely at the airport by convincing our President with the assurance we received from our manager Mustafa, “The operation is complete, we have a solid back.”

Bekir Bozdağ, then Minister of Justice, appeared on stage at the end of the program, moderated by Journalist Banu El. I INSTRUCTED SELAMI YILDIZ “CHANGE THE GUARDS, HIT THE RESISTANT”

Bekir Bozdağ touched upon the wisdom shown by the current Istanbul Provincial Police Chief, Selami Yıldız, on the side of the state, with the instructions he received, during the treacherous coup attempt of July 15. Bozdağ said, “FETO, which surrounded the judiciary and the police at that time, had issued a decision to search the houses of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his son Bilal Erdoğan. Our Director, Selami, accepted this challenge without hesitation and replaced the entire guard staff with patriotic elements and protected the life safety of our leader.”

“JULY 15 IS A MAJOR SOCIAL BREAK THAT DIFFERENT FROM Türkiye’S PREVIOUS COUPS”

Prof. Dr. Necdet Subaşı evaluated the social rupture dimension of July 15 and emphasized the decisive role of social memory in the reconstruction of common life. “July 15 is a major social rupture that was caused by FETO’s exploitation of social weaknesses and expectations and differs from Türkiye’s previous coups. The main sociological issue today is how to rebuild common life by overcoming the distrust caused by this rupture. Recording testimonies, keeping social memory alive and developing a common consciousness against forgetting is both a sociological and public responsibility.”

“WHEN SOCIAL MEMORY IS WEAK, EXPERIENCES BECOME OPEN TO BE RURALIZED”

The forum continued with the speech of curator and writer Hasan Mert Kaya. Kaya pointed out the importance of preserving the social memory with concrete testimonies and documents in order to accurately convey July 15 to future generations.

Kaya said:

“Remembering July 15 means preserving the truth with concrete records and transferring it to future generations. Because when social memory weakens, what happened becomes open to manipulation, denial and trivialization. For this reason, we thought of Memory July 15 as a place of memory where experiences, testimony and truth are preserved, rather than a museum. Documenting that July 15 was a real coup attempt with its tanks, planes, ammunition and planning is part of the historical responsibility we bear towards the future.”

There is a marginal segment in Türkiye that cannot tolerate hearing positive statements about their own state. They just can’t get over it. They produce unthinkable delusions to denigrate Türkiye’s hosting status. When we see these, we feel sorry for them. Alienation is bad, but alienation from one’s own nation is much worse. Regardless of our party or our views, we are all citizens of this state. What is good for Türkiye is good for all of us. I would like to remind those who are disturbed by the Janissary march and the Janissary march: Whether you accept it or not, there is no longer a Türkiye that makes rejection its legacy. On the contrary, there is a Türkiye that embraces its cultural heritage.

59 OF 80 SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED!

From the suspects; 59 of them were arrested. Judicial control provisions were applied to 21 of them. By the Provincial Gendarmerie Commands, under the coordination of the Gendarmerie General Command’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Department and the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office; The suspects caught in the operations organized with the participation of 485 narcotics and public order teams, 2 thousand 910 personnel and the Analysis and Follow-up Teams of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crimes; It was determined that they carried out the drug trade in an organized manner, sold drugs through social media and messaging applications, and provided resources for drug production by cultivating illegal cannabis and skunk. We continue our fight against street dealers, drug manufacturers and illegal drug cultivation activities with determination. We congratulate our heroic Gendarmerie, our Department, our Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and all those who contributed.
