Minister Çiftçi: We will delete the fines applied to APP plates

Published

on

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi answered journalists’ questions before the AK Party group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Minister Çiftçi stated that the regulation in the Highway Traffic Law came into force on February 27 and said, “I saw that there was a problem and accumulation in the field regarding these APP license plates. In fact, when we saw that citizens were lining up and forming long queues in our hometown, Konya, on Friday, we evaluated together with our friends that we should take some measures regarding this. We accept the license plates issued by the Chamber of Drivers and Automobiles of Turkey. There is no problem with them. We accept them as valid. We will not take any penal action against them. Only citizens.” There is a fine of 4 thousand lira if someone makes any changes or alterations on the plate after obtaining it. There are also license plates made in unauthorized places; we call them ‘fake license plates’. The sanctions related to them are a little heavier, around 140 thousand lira. It is not just about the plate side of the issue; there is also a security aspect, there is the fight against terrorism, there is also a public security side of the issue. Therefore, the regulation regarding fake license plates is in force, there is no relaxation regarding it,” he said.

Stating that they have given citizens until April 1 to change the APP license plate inspections, Çiftçi said, “We have given our citizens a period until April 1 regarding the manipulated and changed plates, so that our citizens will not be victimized or get into any trouble. In other words, we will provide guidance until this period. We will not impose any penalty in any way. Our citizens should have peace of mind in this regard. I have also instructed the imposed penalties, we will delete them. We are also working on multimedia systems.” (DHA)

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek: No one can give orders to the courts

Published

on

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, who met with journalists in the parliament before the AK Party Grand National Assembly Group Meeting and answered their questions, made a statement regarding MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli’s call for the live broadcast of the IMM case for the third time. Gürlek stated that a change in the law was required for the trial to be broadcast live.

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek: No one can give orders to the courts

“THE LAW CHANGE IS REQUIRED FOR THE CASE TO BE BROADCAST LIVE”

Speaking about MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli’s call for the IBB trial to be broadcast live for the third time, Gürlek said, “There is a need for a change in the law for it to be broadcast live. Currently, it is not possible to broadcast live in our legislation, but if the law changes, it can be broadcast live. As you know, the trial process is still going on right now. Courtrooms are not political arenas. Political shows cannot be held here. Only trials take place in courtrooms. The status and duties of individuals are not important here. Everyone is in the status of a defendant. When addressing the judge and prosecutor in the courtrooms, they say: defendant Ali, defendant Mehmet, defendant Ekrem.” He does not address you as Mayor or Dear Manager. According to Article 138 of our Constitution, the courts make judgments on behalf of the Turkish nation.

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek: No one can give orders to the courts

“NO ONE CAN ORDER THE COURTS”

During the trial process, no one can give suggestions, instructions or orders to the courts. This needs to be underlined. According to the procedure, the time when each defendant will defend is determined by the court panel. The defendant Ekrem İmamoğlu will also make his defense on the day determined by the court. Apart from that, lawyers can take the floor. They may first give the floor to the parties regarding the discussions. But this is definitely not the way to make a greeting speech or welcome those who come here. This does not suit. It does not suit our judgment. It does not suit the order of the court. The authority to decide on the order of the court belongs to the chairman of the committee, the president of the court. No court is affected by this either. It is not affected by rhetoric, nor is it affected by political conversations. “The court will use its conscience and decide based on the evidence in the file,” he said.

President Erdoğan: This war must be stopped before it grows

President Erdoğan: This war must be stopped before it grows

“THE WORLD WILL PAY THE BILL FOR THESE CONFLICTS”

Conflicts continue in our region. As a result of wrong calculations and wrong evaluations, our region was once again covered with the smell of blood and gunpowder. 175 female students lost their lives. High-level figures, especially religious leader Ali Khamenei, were assassinated. The Iranian people are now struggling to survive with the bombardment that continues every day.

We are witnessing oil production facilities, water and energy infrastructure being hit, and people being punished. The attacks also put serious pressure on the global economy. The whole world is preparing to pay the price for these attacks. We all see that if the conflicts continue, there will be more loss of life and property.

“WE ARE CAUTIOUS TO PROTECT Türkiye FROM FIRE”

We are cautious to protect Türkiye from fire. Türkiye cannot remain insensitive to the crises around it. This war must be stopped before it escalates. It is possible to achieve this if diplomacy is given a chance…

For us as a nation, there are only humans, not Turks, Kurds, Arabs or Shiites. We stand by anyone who is suffering, whether right next to us or on the other side of the world. We are doing this in Somalia, Syria, Iraq, and the war between Russia and Ukraine. We have done this in many places and continue to do so. Today, I repeat with emphasis, we do not have a religion such as Sunnism or Shiism, we have only one religion and that is Islam…”

President Erdoğan: This war must be stopped before it grows

Recently, we have witnessed sectarianism being fueled again on social media. I call on both our nation and our brothers in the region to be alert against these dangerous discussions. Discussions that do not benefit us today and that fuel hatred should be avoided.

This nation is not an ordinary nation. We will not fall into this game. This nation has the power and strength to believe in non-mahram and break the hand with its steely will and courage, as it did in the past.

“WE ARE NOT SEEKING ADVENTURE”

Moreover, today’s Turkey is very different. Türkiye has grown stronger. Türkiye left its passive position and assumed a playmaker role in its region. Anyone who criticizes Türkiye will be tongue-tied. We are not looking for adventure.

We defend the territorial integrity of all countries in the region. We have no goal other than peace. We have no eyes on anyone’s land.

But if anyone is looking for adventure, we won’t hesitate to challenge them.

President Erdoğan: This war must be stopped before it grows

“TIME SPENT ON THE INTERNET FOUND 6 HOURS AND 38 MINUTES FOR ADULTS”

As we see from the conflicts in our region, wars are now changing dimensions. Doubts about digital channels are increasing, including in European countries, and precautions are being brought to the agenda. We all benefit from the advantages of digitalization, from education to health to communication. I would like to share alarming figures for the whole world; The time spent on the Internet for adults has reached 6 hours and 38 minutes. It is estimated that children’s screen time can reach up to 9 hours.

DECLARATION OF FESTIVAL BONUS AND RETIREMENT PAYMENT

I would like to give good news to our retirees. We deposit the holiday bonuses into their accounts before the holiday. We are starting to pay pensions as of March 14th. I congratulate you on your Ramadan holiday in advance.”

Türkiye is doing what is necessary to protect TRNC

Published

Everything in Cyprus, which has turned into a new armament area since the war launched by Israel and the USA against Iran, is under the control of Türkiye. Türkiye, which is a supporter of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) today as it was yesterday, uses the powers granted by the guarantorship against hostile attitudes that threaten the security of the Turkish Cypriots. Following AKINCI TİHA and Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs, F-16 warplanes and air defense systems were also deployed to the TRNC to contribute to the security of Turkish Cypriots.

ANKARA WARNED

Additional measures will continue to be taken if necessary. According to open sources, steps are being taken to increase the security of the island, where there are more than 40 thousand Turkish soldiers. Finally, the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that 6 F-16 warplanes and air defense systems were deployed to TRNC. It is stated that this air defense system is a domestic production HİSAR system. Ankara has repeatedly underlined the need for the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus (GCASC) to refrain from taking steps that would endanger the entire island by adopting a pro-Israeli stance. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus months ago about arming the island and its provocative actions in the context of Gaza. When the conflicts began, the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus appealed to EU countries to ensure the security of its country.

Türkiye will not be part of any miscalculation

Yesterday, a closed session was held in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, where the attacks of the USA and Israel against Iran were discussed and the government was informed. Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler were given 30 minutes each, political party groups were given 20 minutes each, and 2 deputies from parties without groups were given 5 minutes each. In his speech before the closed session, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, said, “As a state, we are struggling with all our units to protect Türkiye in this process, to maintain our stability and to continue our country as an island of stability in its region. Turkey will never be able to withdraw from the turbulence they are trying to draw into in the region. Turkey will speak out against all kinds of injustice as a noble spokesperson of the humanity front and will keep its country strong by fortifying its own internal front. We will neither be surrendered by the language of war nor retreat into the comfort of silence. “We will defend peace without giving up and regional stability without ignoring oppression. We will not be part of a miscalculation that will build walls of distrust between the peoples of the region,” he said.

The world saw Türkiye’s power, CHP could not

Published

on

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made evaluations regarding the agenda of his party’s GNAT Group Meeting. Bahçeli briefly said:

TURKEY IS NOT THE ONE IN THE WAY: It confuses us that the new ballistic ammunition fired from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO elements, and some of the ammunition pieces fell on empty lands in Gaziantep. Every country should come to its senses. Türkiye is not a country to gamble on. We want to believe that there is no intentional behavior and protect our good neighborly law. Türkiye is not a wayfarer and cannot be seen as a country where those who are bored or want to fire missiles. We do not want to see missiles or UAVs that have lost their way or direction in our airspace or in Azerbaijani airspace. We reject those who try to sow discord between Türkiye and Azerbaijan. Kurds cannot and should not serve as mercenaries for any faction that sniffs the air, probes the environment, and plans to destroy Iran from within in order to bring our Kurdish brothers to the field. Our Kurdish brothers are not for sale or rent, they are not hitmen.

CHP IS TAKING OPPORTUNITIES: The outrage-provoking statements of the CHP Chairman and his administration are, in a word, unconsciousness. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk had ordered to die, and the person sitting in his chair, shabby and dilapidated, is trying to denigrate Türkiye. If you thought about Türkiye as much as you think about fish, you wouldn’t be exposed and disgraced with your nonsense today. Türkiye’s power is enough to twist the wrist of any hostile country. The world saw this, the CHP Chairman could not.

AYMAZS WHO TURNED THE COURT INTO A SHOW AREA

Regarding the case in which İmamoğlu was tried, Bahçeli said, “Every mess took place in the corruption case of the century, in which 407 defendants were tried, and legal security was dealt a blow. Those who turned the courtroom into a show area, a rally square are poor ignorant people who do not know what justice is, what the law is. What happened, the former mayor was going to take the stand to make a greeting speech. When was it heard that there was a greeting speech in the court? No one is above the law. Running a bribery scheme, rigging tenders.” “Accusations such as conspiracy and money laundering should be clarified,” he said.

WE ARE TIRED OF CHP’S POLITICAL PLAYS

Our nation is tired of CHP’s political games that do not recognize justice and law. Were we wrong when we said that the hearings should be broadcast live on television? Were we wrong when we said that white and black sheep should be distinguished before the eyes of our nation, and everything should be known and seen? Our rightness has become clear.

VISIT TO BAHÇELİ FROM MINISTER FARMER

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi visited Devlet Bahçeli in his office in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. “I express my gratitude for their kind acceptance,” said the farmer.
