Nobody can feel safe unless blood stops in Gaza
President Erdoğan explained that he drew attention to Gaza in his meeting with US President Trump: No one can feel safe unless blood stops in Gaza. We have transferred our approach with solutions to all these issues to Mr. Trump. He approached our suggestions positively
President Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements to the journalists who followed the program on the way back from the NATO Presidents Summit in The Hague, the Netherlands, about the hot issues on the agenda. Erdogan gave the following messages:
Trump approached positively: We had an efficient interview with my friend Trump. We have discussed many titles from our bilateral relations to NATO partnership, regional and global issues. By referring to the efforts of the ceasefire between Israel and Iran, I stated that the same effort is expected to end the conflicts in Gaza and Russia-Ukraine. We emphasized the importance of ending the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Türkiye has historical and conscientious responsibility in this regard. This brutality cannot continue. No one can feel safe unless blood stops in Gaza. We have transferred our approach with solutions to all these issues to Mr. Trump. He approached our suggestions positively.
New Period with the United States: We open the door of a new era in Turkish-American relations with Trump. Trump returns within 24 hours when we call. The US Ambassador in Türkiye is very sensitive about these issues. In our meeting, we have clearly conveyed our sensitivities to the Syrian Democratic Forces, especially to the American side. Syria is very important to us.

4 -Summit in Istanbul: Ukraine and Russia have repeatedly revealed that they trust us. Negotiations in Istanbul opened a door to peace. We will try to bring the parties together again. Our ultimate goal is to realize a meeting at the level of leaders in our country and to build the longing peace. We told US President Trump. ‘If the Russian President Putin comes to Istanbul or Ankara for a solution, I will come’. I hope we will make the necessary meetings and meet as soon as possible.
Israel should be called: We did not allow Gaza to be forgotten even when the attention was drawn to other areas. In Gaza, we witness Israel’s systematic torture. Even the aid hits the distributed points, they even prevent the Red Cross. This genocide in front of everyone is the shame of humanity. We have to call Israel ‘stop’. Macron said he would meet with Israel about Gaza. We said, ‘If you take this step, we will be grateful to it’.
The fight in the CHP does not end
CHP has become a paralysis. They have captured the huge party to the ambitions of a handful of ‘Ikbal Hunter’. They think politics is of their own shallow pools. They don’t have the opportunity to serve from fighting. The municipalities they manage have taken the bankruptcy flag. Corruption, irregularity, tribute and bribery is going to go. The evidence and documents imposed by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office are all obvious. Unfortunately, the situation is disaster not only in Istanbul but also in other provinces. For 13 years, it is impossible not to be frightened or hijab in the face of what they did to a person who has buttoned in front of them. What did they say? The game in Byzantium, the CHP does not end.
‘We have not given up the F-35s’
We build the systems system, that is, ‘Steel Dome’. We have trench, Korkut, Hisar, Sungur, which we have developed with national opportunities. If we were sitting in our corner with the understanding of ‘they sell these systems to us as long as we have money anyway, would that happen? Would not. Kaan is in the heavens today. We have not given up the F-35s. The F-35 program is a political process as well as technical. Türkiye was unjustly excluded from the program. We discussed this issue with Trump, I hope we will make progress.
We will host our allies
At the Hague Summit, it was agreed to increase defense expenditures to 5 percent of our GDP in 10 years. We are one of the closest countries to capturing 5 percent. It is very important to remove the restrictions between the Allies. In 2026, we will host our allies in Türkiye at the NATO Leaders Summit.

Morale festival for Gaza children from IHH
The Eid celebration program organized by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation made children happy in Gaza, which is going through difficult times under Israeli attacks and blockade. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which delivered food, hot meals and humanitarian aid to tens of thousands of families all over Gaza during the month of Ramadan, did not forget the children in the region during the Eid. A special “Eid and Festive Program” was organized for the children of Gaza, who had a bittersweet holiday in the shadow of occupation and genocide.

Gazan children, who suffered great trauma due to the heavy embargo and attacks imposed by Israel, were able to get away from the gloomy atmosphere of war, at least to some extent, with the activities held in the festival area. Children had fun with the shows of colorful mascots and experienced the joy of the holiday by playing games with their peers. As part of the event, special treats and holiday gifts prepared by IHH teams were distributed to children. In the program, which attracted intense participation, foundation volunteers paid close attention to the children and provided them with moral support.

“The USA has a leader who has lost control of him to Netanyahu, it is extremely sad”
Stating that the value of Türkiye’s strong independent existence amidst the conflicts in the region has emerged once again, Durmaz said, “The sensitivities of both our President and our Chairman on this issue and their efforts to end this process peacefully, even if Türkiye is somehow wanted to be involved in it, are extremely valuable. We hope that these unjust wars and attacks will end. Unfortunately, the United States, which is the most powerful country in the world, is led by a leader who has lost his control to Netanyahu.” “That’s why we are very sad. It is extremely sad that a country that is one of the greatest states in the world, with which we are an ally in NATO, has fallen into this situation,” he said.
“There is a Türkiye that prioritizes the rights, laws and interests of our nation above all else.”
Uygur also noted that Türkiye is geographically located in a region where there are conflicts all around, and said, “Turkey is an island of peace and stability in such a geography. As the People’s Alliance, together with Mr. Devlet Bahçeli and our President, as AKP and MHP, as an alliance that focuses on the interests of the country, the unity, solidarity and integrity of our nation, our priority is the peace and security of every individual among the 86 million. Our President often expresses that Turkey is no longer the old Turkey. “When we look at our 25-year achievements, it is seen that we are very strong in the field of work and service. In addition, the point we have reached, especially in our defense industry, and our work in the field of diplomacy based on mediation and dialogue in foreign policy and international politics, can be seen as a country that prioritizes the rights, law and interests of our nation, keeping Türkiye in a safe haven in a geography where there are conflicts all around us,” he said.
