TOLGA took our breath away – Last Minute News
‘MKE Tolga Close Air Defense System’, which was developed by the Machinery and Chemical Industry (MKE) and carried out its first test firing in Konya last November, was introduced this time to the international delegation attended by 64 people from 24 different countries. MKE Tolga, who made a shooting demonstration at the Karapınar Shooting Test and Evaluation Group Command located in Konya, detected and neutralized air threats one by one in 7 different scenarios, including kamikaze drone, swarm drone attack and ‘Şahid’ type fixed-wing UAV threats. This success of MKE TOLGA was breathtaking. MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş said, “As Machine Chemistry, our production policy is to develop effective, simple and cheap solutions. Because the threat is like that. The threat is also effective, simple and cheap. Therefore, intervening in such a cheap threat with very expensive measures brings a completely asymmetrical financial burden. In order to eliminate it, there is a need to develop simple and cheap solutions that are proportional to the target. The ability to shoot effectively against a target that is very small and very difficult to manage and predict, and the ability to eliminate those targets, is an advanced technology. Today’s “With TOLGA, we aimed for the things you put forward to be cheap and effective, and with this self-confidence, TOLGA once again proved its worth with live shootings in front of the military and civilian delegations of so many countries,” he said.
GOING INTO PRODUCTION
Stating that the development process of the TOLGA Close Air Defense System has been largely completed, Keleş said, “In order to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, our mass production continues in order to bring it into the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, with the decision taken by the Defense Industry Advisory Board. Export contracts have been made to various countries. The processes related to joint production continue by adding new countries. In other words, we will be producing TOLGA in different geographies of the world, some of it in Türkiye and some locally, and providing it to the service of these countries.” spoke.

Resignation earthquake in Izmir CHP: The cauldron is boiling
New resignation news came in Izmir, which was shaken by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay’s announcement that he would resign from CHP and continue his path independently. Legal advisor Ahmet Okyay, known as Tugay’s right-hand man and serving as the municipal companies coordinator, announced that he resigned from his duties. It was claimed that Okyay’s unexpected resignation was due to his not being invited to the collective agreement signing ceremony that Tugay signed with the Belediye-İş Union the previous night. News of resignation also came from Konak.
Konak Municipal Council CHP Group Deputy Chairman Kazım Umdular announced that he resigned after the previous day’s council meeting. Umdular, after CHP council member Alaattin Kurt made the statement ‘I am being threatened’ at the meeting, said that the threat against the council member or any other person could not be accepted in any way. Allegedly, after the meeting, Konak Mayor Nilüfer Çınarlı Mutlu reacted to Umdular with the words, “Instead of defending me, you protected Alaattin Kurt.”

‘Traitor’ protest against Kılıçdaroğlu, who supported him: Arrest for insulting religious values
The statements made by the so-called comedian named Deniz Göktaş regarding religious values in his show in Istanbul caused outrage. Göktaş, against whom an investigation was initiated for the crimes of “insulting religious values” and “insulting the President”, was detained at Istanbul Airport as soon as he returned from abroad the other day. Göktaş, whose statement at the police station was completed, was transferred to the Istanbul Palace of Justice in Çağlayan. CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Gürsel Tekin went to the courthouse to support Göktaş. However, Kılıçdaroğlu was protested by Göktaş’s friends and some lawyers, calling him ‘Traitor Kemal’.
HIS STATEMENT HAS BEEN REVEALED
Göktaş’s statement at the police station was revealed. Stating that he is a comedian and has a high income, Göktaş said that the YouTube channel that is the subject of the investigation belongs to him and that the video is a recording of the stand-up show he performed at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theater on June 1. Answering the question about whether the expressions he used in the show were prepared in advance, Göktaş said, “The text of the speeches in this stand-up show belongs to a text I had prepared before.”
REFERRAL LETTER LIKE A COURSE
Deniz Göktaş, whose statement proceedings were completed at the prosecutor’s office, was referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace on Duty with a request for arrest. In the prosecutor’s referral letter, the limits of freedom of expression were explained. In the article, it was emphasized that the honor and reputation of individuals are under the guarantee of the Constitution and that insults, slander, swearing, obscene expressions and speeches that encourage hatred, discrimination and violence cannot be considered within the scope of freedom of expression. It was pointed out that in democratic societies, individuals’ ability to express their thoughts freely is a fundamental right, but this right is not unlimited. While it was learned that there were 185 different CIMER applications and complaints against Göktaş, Göktaş was arrested and sent to prison by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace on Duty, on charges of ‘insulting religious values’ and ‘insulting the President’.
FATHER GÖKTAŞ RECEIVED 3 DIFFERENT PRISON SENTENCES
On the other hand, it was revealed that his father, Kemal Göktaş, whom Göktaş described as a “good father”, “political father”, “father who takes action” in the show he performed in Harbiye, which he called “Dead Sea”, participated in armed actions within the terrorist organization of the Turkish People’s Liberation Army (THKO) in the 1980s. It was revealed that Göktaş was active within THKO in the 1980s, participated in the Çorum events, and was caught with weapons and ammunition. It was learned that Kemal Göktaş was sentenced to 10 years’ heavy imprisonment by the Erzincan Martial Law 1st Military Criminal Court, 3 years and 9 months’ heavy imprisonment by the Ankara 1st State Security Court, and 5 years’ hard imprisonment by the Ankara Martial Law 2nd Military Court, and remained in prison for a while.
WARNING FROM RELIGIOUS DIVINE SACRED HAS NO HUMOR
After Göktaş was detained due to the statements he used in his stand-up show, the Friday sermon sent by Diyanet to mosques all over Türkiye attracted attention. It was stated that the holy people were sometimes mocked in the sermon under the name of humor. The following statements were included in the sermon: “Consumption culture brought by the modern age, unconscious use of digital channels, and sometimes ridiculing our sacred values under the name of humor, are alienating our children from our values day by day. Pure minds face the risk of being lost in the vortex of superstitions, perverted movements, addiction and peer bullying.”

HIS BROTHER WAS MARTYRED 4 YEARS AGO

Ömer Faruk Çatal said, “It has been 10 years since the treacherous coup attempt that targeted the unity and solidarity of our nation. The intervening years have not made us forget our pain; on the contrary, they have engraved the meaning of that night and the unique resistance of our nation in our memories even more strongly. I had the honor of becoming a veteran on that dark night. July 15 is the day when our nation showed the whole world that we can be united when it comes to common values. Our duty today is not to forget what happened that night and not to let future generations forget it. “It is our responsibility to explain how valuable democracy, national will and independence are. Because nations that forget their history may be doomed to experience the same pain again. I commemorate our July 15 martyrs with mercy and gratitude and salute the heroism and sacrifice of our nation,” he said.
