FIGHT AGAINST TERROR: Information was presented to the Board about the activities carried out against all kinds of threats and dangers, especially PKK/KCKPYD/YPG, FETO and DAESH terrorist organizations, and international developments.

PEACE OF THE IRAQI PEOPLE: The effects of wars and conflicts in our region on Iraq were discussed; The importance of maintaining the peace of the friendly and brotherly Iraqi people and the stability and security environment in the country was emphasized.

CALL TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY: The Israeli Administration’s actions in Gaza; It was stated that they harmed the peace process and the two-state solution approach, and the international community was called to take action against these unlawful actions of the Israeli Administration; Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity have been confirmed.

“ONE STATE, ONE ARMY” IN SYRIA: The developments achieved within the scope of establishing peace, stability and tranquility in Syria were evaluated; It was underlined that efforts aimed at implementing the agreement on the integration process in the country on the basis of a single state and a single army will be resolutely supported within the framework of brotherhood and neighborhood law.

WILL NOT BE TOLERATED: The course of the Russia-Ukraine War was discussed; It was emphasized that attacks spreading to the Black Sea and threatening energy security would not be tolerated, and all parties were called to act with restraint.

DIPLOMACY IN THE HISTORICAL PROCESS: It was emphasized that our country, which has made it a principle to resolve disputes through negotiation and diplomacy, will continue its sincere efforts towards the establishment of peace in cooperation with its allies and friends, as an island of stability.

PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN ACCEPTED THE COPS
President Erdoğan received Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi and his accompanying delegation at the Presidential Complex on the occasion of the 181st anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Organization and Police Week. In his ceasefire message, President Erdoğan said, “We are pleased with the ceasefire declared in the war that turned our region into a fire. An expert report has emerged regarding the accident in which 16-year-old Elif Tuana Torun, who was harassed by CHP’s former Görele Mayor Hasbi Dede, lost her life. In the report, it was determined that the driver was 1.97 promil alcohol and that the brake and tire marks started approximately 4 meters from the point where Tuana fell. In the expert report of the accident submitted to the Görele Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was stated that the arrested driver Adem Hasbaş did not show the necessary attention and care before the accident, and although he could have prevented the accident by effective braking, he did not take sufficient precautions in this direction.

DRIVER AT FAULT
It was noted that the brake and tire tracks started approximately 4 meters from the point where Tuana fell. The report stated that the driver’s behavior at the time of the incident may have been caused by the loss of perception and coordination due to the measured 1.97 promil alcohol. Driver Hasbaş, who was found to be ‘secondarily at fault’ in the report for violating his ‘obligation to adjust his speed according to road, weather and traffic conditions’, claimed in his statement that the accident occurred while he continued driving, assuming that Tuana was with his back turned and wearing headphones, and that he could pass from the left side by using flashlights and honking the horn. It was revealed that the detained driver Adem Hasbaş worked at Ziyade Restaurant in Görele, and the owner of the business, Osman Akkoyun, was Hasbi Dede’s former brother-in-law.
