Behind the scenes of the dirty provocation in Aleppo: MİT has been on the field since the first moment!
‘MİT WAS ON THE FIELD FROM THE FIRST MOMENT’
Sources stated that a limited operation was planned by the Syrian Ministry of Defense as of January 5 in order to remove PKK/YPG from Aleppo’s Şeyh Maksud and Eşrefiye neighborhoods, following the clashes, and used the following statements:
“During the planning and execution phases of the operation, it was prioritized to ensure that all Syrian citizens, including the Kurds in the region, were not harmed. Maximum efforts were made to prevent civilian casualties. As a part of these efforts, contact was established with the SDF side through various channels. SDF General Commander Mazlum ABDİ, Co-chairman of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria İlham AHMED and some others displayed a conciliatory attitude. In the first stages of the operation, the outskirts of Sheikh Maksud were in serious conflict. However, after the Eşrefiye neighborhood was evacuated and the Şeyh Maksud neighborhood was surrounded, it was seen that the Syrian army continued its civilian sensitivity despite Kandil’s instruction to ‘fight’. As a result of the PKK’s attitude of prioritizing conflict over reconciliation, the PKK was responsible for all the losses, using the people living in the Kurdish neighborhoods as human shields and firing points. It continues to endanger the life and property security of the civilian population. Although the Syrian army has established control over the whole of Sheikh Maksud, the PKK cadres who settled in the hospital and some of the buildings around it disregard the lives of the sick and injured. The main reason for the PKK to settle in the hospital is the Syrian army’s attention to civilian sensitivity and efforts to prevent civilian casualties. Many Syrian security officers were martyred by the sniper shootings made by the PKK from the points where they were hiding through the tunnels in the region. “The Presidency of the Organization has made intense efforts to end the conflicts through reconciliation and dialogue from the first moment the events began. The reconciliation that was tried to be created for civilians to leave the region without being harmed was tried to be prevented by the PKK.”
“TERRORISM-FREE Türkiye PROCESS CONTINUES”
Emphasizing that the terrorist organization PKK is trying to describe what is happening in the region as an ethnic attack against the Kurdish people, security sources said, “All these events are nothing more than disregarding the security of the Kurdish people, whom an armed terrorist organization claims to represent for its own interests. What is happening in the region is not an Arab-Kurdish conflict as the PKK advertises. The main reason for the conflicts is the PKK’s concern to exploit the future and resources of Syria. The PKK’s pressure on the SDF is also a political issue in Syria.” It harms the basis of reconciliation. The Kurdish people are a part and essential element of Syria. After the collapse of the regime, ethnic and religious-based discriminatory policies were abandoned. The main aim and effort made here is to ensure that all elements in Syria will establish a common future on the basis of consensus. Despite all these events, the Terrorism-Free Turkey process, which started under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, continues. “It will not disrupt the process,” he said.

Minister Çiftçi: The recent escalation of events in our region and the rapidly changing balances in the world better show the value of the point Türkiye has reached. There is no longer a Türkiye that cannot foresee its future, whose goals are determined by others, and whose direction is determined from outside. There is a Türkiye that charts its own route and expands its own horizons. Türkiye is a groundbreaking country in many areas, from the defense industry to domestic and national technology, from the healthcare system to the security infrastructure. Today, under the leadership of our President, we are moving forward with the goals of the Türkiye Century, which is the strong vision of our second century. “From now on, we need to spend all our energy on growth, development, improving our unity and solidarity, and further strengthening our brotherhood,” he said.

By acting with an understanding based on prevention, we will make it a basic principle to take precautions before crimes occur. The rapid development of technology will cause crime to spread faster in the digital area. We are also expanding our field of struggle. We are increasing our cyber security capacity with domestic and national software systems, especially artificial intelligence, and establishing a strong security shield against digital threats. We are working hard to reduce the risks of the virtual world, which sometimes operates like a parallel world, and to dismantle addiction and criminal networks. With God’s help, we will never allow our youth to be poisoned or encouraged to commit crimes by strengthening the correct use of technology. “Under the leadership of our President, this blessed homeland will become more peaceful and safer every day,” he said.
