Reminding that he will also meet with the leaders of the political parties in the commission, Kurtulmuş continued his words as follows:
“It was a historical threshold for Turkey. The work is not completely finished yet, but the Parliament has fulfilled its responsibility. Unfortunately, the efforts that have been tried many times before to end terrorism could not be brought to the floor of the Parliament for various reasons and could not be brought to a certain point with the common opinion of our parties. For the first time, by progressing on this valuable acquis of the past, a commission was formed in which all but one of the parties in the Turkish Grand National Assembly participated, and extremely valuable hearings were made.”

“BROAD SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY ARE GREATLY SATISFIED WITH THIS TEXT”
Kurtulmuş emphasized that following the work of the commission, a report and text agreed upon by the parties emerged, and said, “What we see after the publication of the text is this: large segments of society are greatly satisfied with this text.” he said.
Stating that the parties prepare their own reports, Kurtulmuş said that the opinions of the parties are stated in the commission’s report. TBMM Speaker Kurtulmuş made the following evaluations regarding the commission report:
“This text is not the opinion of any political party. It is not the common opinion of 1 or 2 political parties. It was brought to the agenda as a joint effort of all parties in the commission, voted on and, more importantly, was accepted with the votes of 47 out of 50 deputies. We must all continue to work openly, sincerely and transparently in order to ensure that the next process is followed meticulously, that the extraordinarily mature, democratic approach established under the umbrella of the Turkish Grand National Assembly is maintained from now on, and that Türkiye sends this issue to the dusty shelves of history forever.” We hope that the Turkish Grand National Assembly will do its part in preparing the laws in the General Assembly and that they will be matured in a short time.”
Thanking MHP Chairman Bahçeli, Grand National Assembly of Turkey Speaker Kurtulmuş said that Bahçeli also supports and sets an example for other political parties.
MHP Chairman Bahçeli accompanied Kurtulmuş during his statements.

SPEAKER OF THE GNAT, NUMAN KURTULMUŞ, MEETED WITH CHP CHAIRMAN ÖZEL
TBMM Speaker Kurtulmuş, who had a closed-door meeting with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel in his office in the Parliament, reminded the press members after the meeting that he met with the leaders of the political parties after the report of the National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission was accepted.
Kurtulmuş also thanked CHP Chairman Özel and CHP deputies who are members of the Commission, and stated that they sincerely supported the process, and stated that an exemplary work in terms of democracy in Türkiye was completed with pride, and that deputies from different political views came together around the same table.
Reminding that as a result of the negotiations, a report agreed upon by all parties emerged, and that the reports prepared by all political parties were included in the annex of the Commission report, Kurtulmuş said:
“A work that will set an example for the world in terms of conflict resolution has been put forward. Without the need for a third eye or the moderation of anyone else, political parties came together with different views in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, in this sacred place that is the manifestation of the national will and the heart of Turkish democracy, and presented the common text. Now, I hope that in a short time, our concrete proposals expressed here, especially in the 6th and 7th sections, will be discussed by the political parties and legislative activities will be started in the General Assembly of our Parliament.”
Kurtulmuş expressed his wish that the spiral of terror and violence would be left behind and that Türkiye would not return to those days again.
“WE WILL FOLLOW THE PROCESS CAREFULLY”
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also reminded that they wanted the commission to be chaired by the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly during its establishment process.
During the meeting, Özel said that he thanked Kurtulmuş for his management and leadership of the culture of consensus in the Commission, and reminded that CHP’s attitude was wondered during the commission establishment process.
Reminding that they used the expression “Fear the commission that CHP is, not the commission that it is not”, Özel continued his words as follows:
“‘We are not involved in any business where we cannot be accountable to anyone, where we cannot look at the faces of the families of martyrs and veterans, but the issue is very important historically and must be resolved. Despite all the difficulties we experience politically, from time to time during the process we wonder, ‘I wonder if the CHP will continue in the commission?’ We always answered the same questions. We said, “Apart from everything else, if the process in Türkiye in which the tears of brothers and mothers whose blood is shed by their brothers, the tears of Turks and Kurds, is to be stopped, if peace is to come to Türkiye, and if the biggest contribution of this from now on is to contribute to the future of both the region, Turks and Kurds, and everyone living in Türkiye, with an extraordinary development opportunity, if we can pass on wealth and prosperity to our children and grandchildren, not conflict and fight, everyone must take responsibility to solve this issue.” The commission’s work continued with this approach. The point reached today is a point of compromise. “In the future, we will all follow the process carefully and continue to contribute as much as we can to its completion.”
Özel thanked the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Kurtulmuş and the members of the commission and made the following evaluations regarding the legal regulation suggestions in the report:
“It is important that articles 6 and 7 of our report be implemented without delay and together. Article 6 is the regulations aimed at solving the problem. Article 7 is democratization steps. As underlined in the report, we are talking about an intertwined process, not one after the other. When this process is successful, Turkey will be freed from the terrorism problem and it is important that respect for judicial decisions, Constitutional Court decisions, the rule of law, the principle of trial without detention, and that the very important democratization steps written in the report have been taken, and these are internal.” “It is important that it be done as soon as possible. This is the essence, the spirit, the assurance that the Parliament gives to each other under the chairmanship of Mr. President. It is very important to follow this assurance. When this process achieves such success, there will be no losers, Türkiye will be the winner. It is our duty to contribute together.”

KURTULMUŞ MET WITH THE DEM DELEGATION
A joint statement was made after the meeting between Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş and the DEM delegation. In the statement, positive messages were given about the process.
Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş met with the DEM delegation
Kurtulmuş said, “We will fulfill the historical responsibility. Turkish democracy will win.” Thanking the co-chairs of the DEM Party for their support to the process, Kurtulmuş said, “In the end, the winners of this matter will be Türkiye’s 86 million people. In the end, Turkey will emerge as a strong and leading country in its region.” he said.
“A historical threshold has been opened to solve the most serious issue in the history of our Republic, the issue of weapons, violence and terrorism.” Kurtulmuş said that the Commission prepared the report with the unanimous decision and that the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will also take part in the implementation of the report.
Emphasizing that mutual good will, sincerity and open-heartedness are very important in the work carried out with the goal of “Terrorism-Free Türkiye”, Kurtulmuş said:
“Turkey will now leave this issue behind and will never, ever turn back. We will do our part as a politician at the point where we have come so far and are very close to a solution. What is more valuable than everyone talking in their own echo chamber is that everyone has a common say on Türkiye’s agenda and in general. I think this has been achieved with the report. Of course, this is not the end of everything, but the beginning of the steps to be taken from now on. The Commission has successfully fulfilled this historical responsibility. All political parties that support the Commission in fulfilling this responsibility are grateful.” “He has fulfilled his responsibilities.”
Stating that when the process is completed, the winners of this matter will be Türkiye and 86 million people, Kurtulmuş stated that at the end of the process, Türkiye will emerge as a strong and leading country in its region and democracy will win.
Stating that they will build a Türkiye where 86 million people with different ethnic and sectarian identities are in peace and security, Kurtulmuş said that he hopes that this work, which they put forward as the “Turkey model”, will be shown as an example for conflict resolution all over the world.
DEM Party Co-Chairman Bakırhan stated that they worked well with Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş, their agenda was a report, and they exchanged views on the steps to be taken in the coming period.
Bakırhan stated that they shared the topics of the report that they did not agree with with the public and said:
“This does not mean that the report is unimportant. On the contrary, the five parties that have a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly for the first time reach an agreement on various issues. They have common commonalities, we care about this. Now is not the time to talk about the differences in the report. On the contrary, it is on all of us as a historical responsibility to enlarge and multiply these commons, to pave the way for Turkish democracy by expanding these commons, and to solve this century-old issue.”
Referring to the developments in the Middle East, Bakırhan stated that they saw once again how valuable the solution here is in a process where intervention scenarios in Iran are discussed, and therefore this process should not be postponed in Türkiye and legal regulations on this issue should be made as soon as possible.

Every year, ‘I wish we could make children experience Ramadan more enjoyable and explain it in a better way.’ “We said, ‘because the month of Ramadan is the most honorable and precious month of the year for us.” he said.
Erdogan stated that Ramadan is a period when people evaluate themselves and that faith forms the basis of building a better person and a more just world.

We have not been people who adopted the principle of living this life only for ourselves, and with God’s permission, we will not be.” he said.

BREAKING NEWS I Clear message from President Erdoğan: “We will build a Türkiye without terrorism”
Breaking News… President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements at the iftar program with ‘Police, Gendarmerie, Coast Guard Personnel and Security Guards’ held at Beştepe Nation Exhibition Hall.
Important statements from President Erdoğan!
“I CONGRATULATE YOUR RAMADAN”
President Erdoğan also thanked the Ministry of Internal Affairs, General Directorate of Security, Gendarmerie General Command and Coast Guard Command for bringing the participants together at this fruitful table and said, “I congratulate your blessed Ramadan, whose beginning is mercy, whose middle is forgiveness, and whose end is salvation from the torment of hell. On the occasion of this beautiful and meaningful meeting, from Malazgirt to the War of Independence, from the Cyprus Peace Operation to the fight against terrorism and the 15th anniversary of Ramadan.” I commemorate with mercy the heroes who were martyred for the peace, unity and vitality of our people until the July resistance. May their souls rest in peace. I wish a good and long life to our surviving veterans. I commemorate with gratitude the parents who sent their children to duty with the prayer of ‘Become a martyr or a veteran’, by putting the awareness of martyrdom and war at the center of their lives, and from the hands of all the parents who still keep this spirit alive. I kiss you.” he said.
“YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WRITE EPICS”
Erdogan, who thanked on behalf of the country and nation, as well as those in the hall, to all members of the security units who serve in all four corners of the country, in border regions, in the mountains, at sea and in our missions abroad, who are on guard duty and who are grateful to sacrifice their lives for their homeland and nation when necessary, said: “May God help you. I pray that God will protect you from all kinds of threats and attacks.” he said.
Stating that one of the golden words of wisdom of the ancestors is the manifesto “There is no unity without unity”, President Erdoğan continued as follows:
“The survival of our nation is also the unity of our nation. You are the ones who protect our peace and unity without refraining from any sacrifice, even if it means martyrdom. Today, if Turkey has turned into an island of peace, trust and stability that is envied in the world and its region, the lion’s share of this success belongs to you. Our police forces have fought hard struggles incomparable to other countries in our recent history, have successfully passed great tests, and despite the numerous assassinations of reputation they have been subjected to, they have defended every attack against our state against our independence.” Thank God, every game has been wasted. You are the ones who wrote epics in the fight against terrorist organizations without any discrimination.
You are the ones who give organized crime organizations no respite. You are the ones who do not tolerate poison merchants, gangs, and insolent people who consider themselves superior to the state and the law. You are the ones who eliminated foreign-rooted attempts to destabilize Türkiye, as in the Gezi incidents. You are the ones who did not allow spineless traitors, who constantly change color like a chameleon and take the shape of the container they enter, to attack our democracy on the night of July 15. You are the ones who foiled the plans of human smugglers and immigrant traffickers. You are the ones who saved thousands of lives in the life market in our seas. In our country, which hosts the richest treasures in human history, you are the ones who do not spare looters and pillagers. “You are the ones who come to the aid of those who are oppressed, regardless of their affiliation, belief, nationality or identity, and who work selflessly for the peace of our people without ever bringing the criminals to justice.”
“WE WILL CONTINUE TO RIDE THE HILLS”
Congratulating the police, guards, gendarmerie, coast guard and security guards as well as all members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Erdoğan said, “As the President of Turkey, I want you to know that I am proud of each of you and will always be proud of you. We will continue to attack whoever disturbs the peace of our people, whoever touches the security of our state, who attacks our freedoms and democracy.” he said.
President Erdoğan said that they will do whatever they can to ensure that the security units can perform their duties comfortably, as they have for 23 years, and that they will continue to support the security officers in every aspect.

Minister Gürlek: Judicial independence is not a wish for us but an indispensable principle
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek attended the iftar program organized by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK). Addressing HSK members and employees, Minister Gürlek stated that Ramadan is also a month of internal accounting and a climate of purification. Minister Gürlek said that justice begins first of all in the conscience, is shaped by the law and comes to life with the verdict, and noted that members of the judiciary carry a heavy trust.
Minister Gürlek said, “As a colleague of yours who came from within this organization, I can say this with peace of mind: Judicial duty requires not only knowledge but also patience, dignity and a strong conscience. The Board of Judges and Prosecutors is the institutional guarantee of this great trust. Every decision made by our Board is not only an appointment or promotion, but also a determination of the future direction of our judicial organization. In this respect, our responsibility is great.” he said. In his speech, Minister Gürlek said, “Independence of the judiciary is not a wish for us, but an indispensable principle. A strong judiciary survives with strong institutions and a strong professional honor.” he said.

“IT IS OUR COMMON DUTY TO PROTECT THE Dignity AND PROFESSIONAL HONOR OF OUR JUDICIAL ORGANIZATION”
Minister Gürlek stated that he was aware of the workload on the judiciary and continued his speech as follows: “I know the weight of social expectation. I also see how the climate of debate on the judiciary from time to time tires you, but be sure of this: This organization is not abandoned. Protecting the professional guarantee of each of you, strengthening the merit and preserving the respect of the justice service is our priority. It is our common duty to protect the dignity and professional honor of our judicial organization. Justice is not only about making the right decision; it is also about society’s decision.” “Trust is our most valuable capital.”

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Kurtulmuş met with ambassadors at iftar
WAR BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE
Reminding that the Russia-Ukraine war has passed its 4th year, Kurtulmuş said that since the first day of the war, they have expressed at every opportunity that a fair peace accepted by both sides is the main solution to prevent further war in the region, and that there is no other way than negotiations.
“Although the peace table we opened in Dolmabahçe was disrupted by others, we express on every platform that there is no other way than negotiation between Russia and Ukraine, and that the problem cannot be solved by using force.” Kurtulmuş stated that one of Türkiye’s most fundamental choices in foreign policy is to never leave the negotiation table and never eliminate the rules of diplomacy, no matter how difficult and complex the issue is.
Kurtulmuş emphasized that they act in the same way as the relevant countries in the developments between Somalia and Ethiopia in ensuring peace, stability and security in the Balkans.
Kurtulmuş said that they stated that in order to achieve regional peace in the Caucasus, it is the best and right way for all relevant countries to solve even their most difficult issues at the table, and continued his words as follows:
“Without a doubt, the issue of Palestine is the heaviest, most complex and common issue of all humanity among the problems in our region and our immediate surroundings. It is not possible to bring peace to the Middle East unless the Palestine issue is resolved and the idea of a two-state solution is truly strengthened and put into action. It has been like this throughout history. Throughout history, the door to world peace has been the Middle East, and the key to the door to the Middle East is the Palestinian issue. It is the first condition of humanity to accept that the Palestinian people are a free and sovereign people, at least as much as all other peoples in the region. We, like others, want peace.” We never give credit to the belief in existence or a country where chosen people live. No people have been chosen by God, no land has been promised to any nation by God. Those who think that they will realize what they talk about in their own echo chambers are mistaken.
Each of the more than 75 thousand Palestinian martyrs did not die in vain or was taken away from their lives in vain. Each of them will take their place in the common memories of humanity and will be remembered as the symbol of the resistance of an honorable nation until the end of time. In this context, one of our most fundamental duties and obligations as the international community is to approach the principle of a two-state solution in the Palestine issue and to increase the number of our friends in the international community in this field. “Fortunately, we observe with joy that the more Israel’s oppression and genocide intensifies, the greater the sympathy for Palestine rises in the conscience of humanity and the higher the spirit of solidarity with the Palestinian people.”
“ALL SYRIAN PEOPLE ARE THE OWNER OF SYRIA”
Underlining that the revolution in Syria is one of the important developments in the region, Kurtulmuş said, “As a closed regime for 60 years, as an extremely strict autocracy, the Syrian administration has imposed great oppression and oppression on the Syrian people, causing millions of people to become immigrants and millions of people to be cut off from their lives.” he said.
Stating that with the regime change in Syria, the people became the founders and partners of the new Syria, Kurtulmuş stated that the new Syrian administration is rapidly progressing towards becoming an internationally recognized and effective actor in the international community in a short time, especially with the end of the imposed sanctions.
Stating that Türkiye has tried to recommend three basic principles to all relevant parties since the day after the revolution in Syria, Kurtulmuş said:
“The first of these principles is the establishment of an absolutely inclusive regime in Syria and the construction of a new Syria where all ethnic and sectarian differences are brought together. Syria is neither a country of a single ethnicity nor a single sect. All Syrian people, with their religious, sectarian and ethnic differences, own Syria. Our second principle is to ensure the territorial integrity of Syria. Syria must bring everyone together without being divided, fragmented, or falling into any kind of separation.” It is essential for both the security of Syria and the security of the region to act within a unitary structure that supports Syria. The third thing we say is that all armed groups in Syria are eliminated and there is a single army, a single armed force, and within this framework, all armed groups in Syria are integrated into the new Syrian regime.
We are happy to see this. Rapid developments are taking place in these three areas. The integration between the Syrian administration and the SDF, especially as it concerns Türkiye, is progressing successfully. We hope that all these obstacles, all these situations will be overcome as soon as possible and all traces of that 60-year dark regime will be erased. In addition, the security of Syria, like the security of all other countries in the region, is very important for Türkiye and is a security issue for us as well. For this reason, we recommend unity, solidarity and brotherhood to all our friends in Syria and express that, as Turkey, we are always with one and all Syria and that we will be together with them in the same geography until the end of time.”
THE GOAL OF A TERRORISM-FREE Türkiye
Stating that Türkiye suffered a lot from terrorist organizations used as elements of the proxy wars of the great powers, Kurtulmuş stated that almost half of the first 100 years of the Republic was spent in the fight against terrorism.
Kurtulmuş stated that the spiral of terrorism and violence that cost the lives of tens of thousands of people also caused Türkiye to suffer a financial loss of at least 2 trillion dollars.
Stating that Türkiye took a democratic step to completely eliminate this issue and to never talk about weapons in this country again, Kurtulmuş said that after the terrorist organization dissolved itself and handed over its weapons, it established the National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission with the participation of all political parties except one in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and carried out a joint work to solve this problem.
Kurtulmuş emphasized that they have held 21 meetings since August 5, and that although their views are as different as A and Z, all political parties agreed on a common report, a common road map and a framework, revealing the “Turkey model” that will enter the world literature in terms of conflict resolution.
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Kurtulmuş, continued as follows:
“From now on, the legal regulations to be made together with the complete liquidation of the terrorist organization and the complete laying down of weapons will leave this 50-year period of conflict behind in Türkiye and eliminate this spiral of terror and violence. Thus, our 86 million citizens in this country, regardless of their ethnic origin or sect, will live as free and equal citizens of a Türkiye with high democratic standards, and the Republic of Turkey will enter into a much stronger economic development process with this great momentum it has gained.”
Stating that they wish peace and well-being to prevail not only in the region but all over the world, Kurtulmuş said:
“Our hope and wish is to have the strength and power to hold the hands of the victims and the oppressed all over the world. Our hope and wish is that God Almighty grant us the ability to establish an international system that can prevent the oppressor from his tyranny all over the world. In this context, we can bring together our ideas in favor of truth, humanity, peace and justice and fight together as a front of humanity and survive the rest of the 21st century.” “May God Almighty grant us the opportunity to make a golden beginning for humanity in this period, that is, to establish a system that will ensure peace and tranquility. Let this be the common success of not only one country, not just a few countries, but all people who stand for peace, justice, justice and conscience, and let it be the common gain of all nations.”
ABDILLAHİ, Djibouti’s AMBASSADOR IN ANKARA, SPOKE ON BEHALF OF THE AMBASSADORS
During the program, Djibouti’s Ambassador to Ankara Aden Houssein Abdillahi made a speech on behalf of the ambassadors and stated that Türkiye has long been a symbol of generosity and leadership in promoting dialogue, humanitarian principles and cooperation.
Stating that after the Second World War, the international community established institutions such as the United Nations to prevent further destruction and ensure that international law is applied equally to everyone, Abdillahi reminded that these institutions were founded on common values such as respect for sovereignty, protection of civilians, peaceful dialogue and international cooperation.
Abdillahi emphasized that international law should be applied equally to all nations.
Commemorating the people of Gaza, who experienced one of the greatest tragedies of the 21st century and a genocide that continues even today, during Ramadan, Abdillahi stated that the tragedy in Gaza will remain an indelible mark in history.

President Erdoğan: Security and defense are never one-dimensional
”WE ARE DEVELOPING THESE TECHNOLOGIES TO BUILD THE Türkiye CENTURY WHERE WE WILL PUT OUR SEAL ON THE CENTURY”
President Erdoğan pointed out that knowing how to do something is of course important, but what is more important is knowing why that thing is done, and said:
“We are developing all these technologies to build the Turkey Century, in which we will put our stamp on the century as a nation, because we have a purpose, a goal, a cause. Today, I would like to share with you a point that I have expressed on different occasions: we do not have our eyes on a handful of anyone’s land. We are never after a power and influence based on domination. Our only concern is to build a Turkey that contributes to global peace and security, tranquility and stability, together with our region, at the highest level. Where everyone, friend and foe, is sure of their principled stance, “It is to build a Turkey whose words, attitudes and actions are followed closely by the whole world. This is why we put our hands and our bodies under the responsibility when necessary. I hope we will continue our path in this way by doing the right to be a great nation, befitting our history and values.”

Bayraktar TB3, which remained in the air for 8 hours in coordination with Eurofighter warplanes, demonstrated its superior capabilities one by one by covering a total distance of 1700 kilometers. I heartily congratulate each and every brother who contributed to these achievements, which brought a new breath to the concept of naval aviation. May God have many more years to come.” I hope that you, us, and all of us will be able to bring success and many works to this beloved nation.”
President Erdoğan wished good luck to the systems, facilities and platforms that they will put into service, inaugurate and lay the foundations of today, and thanked the Ministry of National Defense, the Presidency of Defense Industries, the Turkish Armed Forces, the HAVELSAN family and all stakeholders who contributed to the sector.
