Statement from security sources: Türkiye is not a party to the war!
The ballistic ammunition that was fired from Iran and entered Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
In the statement made by security sources on the subject, it was stated that the recent developments in the region once again show how sensitive the global and regional security balances are.
“MISSILES HAVE A DIFFERENT PATTERN”
Underlining that Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Lebanon have become fronts of the conflict by being subjected to intense attacks, security sources stated that the missiles fired at Türkiye from Iran had a different pattern than the attacks on these countries.
Noting that there was no attack intensity as in other countries, sources said that there was no loss of life or property and that all three missiles were neutralized by air defense systems.
“Türkiye IS CAREFUL TO NOT BE DRAWN INTO THE CONFLICT”
Drawing attention to Türkiye’s position on the issue, sources said, “Turkey is not a party to the war and is cautious not to be drawn into the conflict. Turkey acts with a sense of responsibility to prevent new lines of tension in the region and conveys this to all parties. A clear message has been conveyed to the Iranian side about immediately identifying those responsible for the attack and taking the necessary measures.” he said.
“TURKEY HAS THE NECESSARY DETERRENT POWER TO ENSURE ITS NATIONAL SECURITY”
Emphasizing that Türkiye’s cautious attitude should not mean unlimited tolerance, the sources said, “Turkey has the necessary deterrent power to ensure its national security and will not hesitate to take response/sanction measures as it determines when necessary.” He said:
Sources said that the neutralization of the missiles by NATO air defense systems constitutes a critical example in terms of protecting Türkiye’s airspace and the effectiveness of allied coordination.
“Türkiye WILL CONTINUE TO SEE THE KEY TO PEACE IN DIPLOMACY”
Sources stated that while Türkiye maintains security measures at the highest level in this process, it also continues to actively operate diplomacy channels to prevent tensions from escalating further. “The intense leader diplomacy carried out by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan plays a decisive role in reducing tension in the region and preventing conflicts from spreading to a wider geography.” he said.
Sources stated that President Erdoğan’s leading diplomacy continues to be one of the strongest indicators of Türkiye’s responsible state reflex that protects not only its own security but also regional stability in times of crisis, and emphasized that Türkiye will continue to see the key to peace in diplomacy and dialogue while ensuring its security.
“IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE CAREFUL AGAINST THE TRAP OF Sectarianism”
In the statement, which emphasized the importance of being careful against the trap of sectarianism, the following statements were made:
Turning the tensions in the region into a sectarian-based debate in the domestic public and especially on social media is a dangerous trap that can harm Türkiye’s peace and regional stability. Türkiye emphasizes that sectarian discourses should be avoided in public debates as well as in foreign policy. For this reason, it is of great importance to adopt a responsible and unifying language in public evaluations.
In this process, necessary steps are taken against manipulative content circulated in digital media. Disinformation activities aimed at creating public panic and information pollution are closely monitored by relevant institutions and necessary steps are taken.

Cevdet Yılmaz: “Türkiye has created an excellent infrastructure in education”
“Türkiye HAS CREATED AN EXCELLENT INFRASTRUCTURE IN EDUCATION IN THE LAST 23 YEARS”
Bilal Erdoğan stated that he had come to Bingöl several times before for non-governmental work and said that it was very nice to see that schools were being built in Bingöl today through philanthropists.
“Education is something that the whole society should support, stand behind and contribute to.” Erdoğan stated that 25 years ago, while the number of students per class was 35-40, today it has decreased to 20, and the number of students per teacher has decreased from 35-40 to 15, 16, 17.
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is either at the same point or at a better point in terms of physical infrastructure in education with the most developed countries in the world and said:
“In terms of educational results, in the TIMSS and PISA results, which measure the educational results of 42 countries of the OECD, which constitute the most developed countries in the world, Turkey was always at the bottom in these exams and measurements held every three years, until 25 years ago, it has risen steadily in these 23 years and today it has reached the top 10 and the top 5. In other words, we are now successful in education in Türkiye in terms of academic results. Today, our children in secondary school will carry these results to their university years. Türkiye Today, its universities have reached a record number among the world’s top 1000 universities. We also follow that with each passing year, more and more of our universities enter the top 1000 and move higher in the rankings.
Therefore, this means that Türkiye has created an excellent infrastructure in education in the last 23 years. Now we will start to reap its fruits. How do we see? The number of children and young people who participated in the latest TEKNOFEST competitions exceeded 1.5 million. Without this infrastructure, 1.5 million of our children and young people would not be able to participate in technology competitions. Now these children, our children who participated in those competitions, will become the new Selçuk Bayraktars of the world. “Even though we have this infrastructure, this claim, and of course all this infrastructure and these good examples, if we did not have a leader like our President, who claimed to carry Türkiye to the top league in the world and made the whole nation adopt this, I guess this self-confidence would not be reflected in these young people.”
Stating that children should be approached as fragile flowers and “how can I support and nurture this child?”, Erdoğan said:
“Our Minister of National Education is really putting forward very good work. We have actually entered a very important new phase with the Turkey Century Education Model. A curriculum system that centers competencies and prioritizes the needs of the future. When all these efforts come to fruition, I believe that Turkey will continue to be an island of stability in the region we call the ring of fire, where so many wars take place. Not only that, it will also be the power that creates the peace and tranquility of its region. I wish good luck to all of you. God bless you.” “We congratulate you on your Night of Power and Eid.”
After the speeches, plaques were presented to businessmen Serdar Turhan and Burak Burulday. Later, with the participation of Vice President Yılmaz and Science Dissemination Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Erdoğan, Bingöl Governor Cahit Çelik, AK Party Bingöl MPs Feyzi Berdibek and Zeki Korkutata and Bingöl Mayor Erdal Arıkan, the ribbon was cut and Yaşar Turhan Anatolian High School was opened.
After the program, Yılmaz and Erdoğan and their entourage attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Serdar Turhan Campus Children’s Houses Site.
Yılmaz and Erdoğan later participated in the NGO program held at the Bingöl Science Dissemination Society Conference Hall.

“WE WILL CONTINUE WORKING TOGETHER”
Fidan said that a very important step was taken to ensure the stability of this country after a long time with the elections held in Bangladesh in February, and pointed out that his counterpart Rahman made his first visit to Türkiye.
Fidan stated that Türkiye fully supports this stable process in Bangladesh and said, “We think that Bangladesh should now take the place it deserves both in the Islamic world and in its region. We will continue to work together for this.” he said.
Underlining that Türkiye and Bangladesh have deep-rooted relations, Fidan said that Bangladesh is a valuable partner of Türkiye.
Minister Fidan said, “The aid of the Bengali people during the Balkan War and their support to our War of Independence were among the most important examples of this historical brotherhood. Today, we aim to build a much stronger and visionary partnership on these solid foundations.” made his assessment.
Pointing out the great humanitarian responsibility shouldered by Bangladesh, Fidan reminded that although nearly 10 years have passed since the crisis, the tragedy suffered by Rohingya Muslim refugees continues.
Fidan said, “Bangladesh is making a historical sacrifice on behalf of all humanity by hosting more than 1 million Rohingya (Rohingya Muslim refugees). The exemplary hospitality and humanitarian stance shown by our Bangladeshi brothers to Rohingya Muslims is admirable.” he said.
Emphasizing that Türkiye continues its aid without slowing down in order to share this burden, alleviate the suffering of Rohingya Muslim refugees and support Bangladesh, Fidan said, “The total value of humanitarian aid provided by our country has reached 80 million dollars. We continue our support in areas such as health, shelter, education and infrastructure by TIKA, AFAD, Turkish Red Crescent and Turkish Religious Foundation.” he said.
Noting that they closely follow international developments to ensure that Rohingya Muslim refugees return to their countries safely, honorably and voluntarily, Fidan said, “In this context, we support international legal initiatives, including the case filed by Gambia before the International Court of Justice.” he said.
“WE OBSERVE WITH CONCERN THAT THE WAR IS SPREAD TO THE WHOLE REGION”
Underlining that the stability, security, peace and prosperity of the region are among the main priorities of Türkiye’s foreign policy, Fidan said, “However, unfortunately, we observe with concern that the war has spread to the entire region. It is obvious that this destructive situation does not only remain at the regional security and humanitarian level, but also threatens global economic stability. We are also worried that these developments will lead to irreparable permanent hostilities in our region. This war must be put to an end as soon as possible.” he said.
Minister Fidan stated that at this stage, it is clear that all parties must return to the diplomacy table and that a permanent solution can only be achieved through dialogue, and said, “As Turkey, we have fully concentrated our efforts in this direction. Our sincere efforts for peace and stability, the understanding and constructive approach we display do not mean that we will compromise our national security in the slightest.” he said.
Regarding the ballistic ammunition fired from Iran on March 13 and directed towards Turkish airspace, Fidan said, “As you know, another missile directed towards our country was neutralized in the air yesterday. We are in direct contact with our Iranian interlocutors regarding this grave incident.” he said.
COOPERATION BETWEEN DIPLOMACY ACADEMIES
Fidan stated that the solution to global and regional crises is only possible with competent diplomacy and strong institutions, and with this vision, he and his counterpart signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the two countries today.
Minister Fidan said, “With this memorandum of understanding, we hope to bring new horizons to the cooperation of Turkish and Bangladeshi diplomats.” he said.
Noting that Bangladesh is a strategic country with extensive connections with different groups of which it is a member on international platforms, Fidan said that Bangladesh is “a strong voice of the Global South and a priority and competent representative of Asia.”
Underlining that Bangladesh plays an active role in critical issues such as development, climate, peacekeeping, migration management and refugee protection, Fidan said, “Turkey has long been in close contact and cooperation within the UN with Bangladesh, which believes in multilateralism and strongly supports it.” he said.
In this context, Fidan stated that they welcomed his counterpart Rahman’s candidacy for the post of President of the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations and that they supported it as a country. “As you know, the General Assembly has a special position as the only body in the UN system where all members are equally represented. We have no doubt that Bangladesh will carry out this important task successfully with its active role in the UN and Mr. Rahman’s vast UN experience.” made his assessment.
Fidan stated that the scope of cooperation between Türkiye and Bangladesh is extremely broad, as befits two brother countries, and that they will continue to increase their meetings with Bangladeshi counterparts in the coming period.
Minister Fidan emphasized that they will continue to work together to strengthen the relations between the two countries with new projects and increase stability, peace and prosperity in South Asia.

BREAKING NEWS I President Erdoğan: Türkiye is looking for a solution to the crisis
“WE TAKEN HISTORICAL STEPS”
President Erdoğan noted that whatever he says or explains to those who are insensitive, indifferent and indifferent towards the achievements of their own country and nation is futile.
Stating that they never took them into consideration and still do not take them into account today, Erdoğan said, “We condemn those who ignore your efforts and the sacrifices of our healthcare professionals to perish.” he said.
Erdoğan emphasized that they always mind their business, focus on service, strive to raise the standard of health services, and by working with this understanding, they have taken historic steps in the field of health with investments, projects, reforms and services in 23 years.
Expressing that he would like to share some figures showing where Türkiye has come in the field of health, Erdoğan said:
“In 2002, we had 379 thousand healthcare workers. This number increased approximately 4 times to 1 million. We increased the number of physicians from 92 thousand to 233 thousand, and the number of nurses and midwives from 113 thousand to 330 thousand. Last year alone, we appointed a total of 75 thousand 255 personnel, of which 36 thousand 253 were physicians and 14 thousand 470 were nurses. In the last 23 years, we have appointed We renovated or rebuilt 80 percent of our hospitals. By putting 794 new hospitals into service, we increased our total bed capacity in public hospitals to 173 thousand. The number of qualified beds, which was 18 thousand in 2002, is now over 184 thousand. The number of beds in all our health facilities has increased to 1063, which was only 58 when we took office. “It increased from 323 to 1400.”
“WE CAME HERE FROM THE DAYS WHEN HOSPITALS LIKE RUINS”
Underlining that city hospitals play very critical roles not only with the number of beds but also with their high-tech infrastructure, modern medical devices, well-equipped operating rooms and intensive care capacities, President Erdoğan said, “We have put 27 city hospitals with a total of 39 thousand 367 beds into service. The construction of 11 city hospitals with 14 thousand 153 beds continues. 9 city hospital health campuses are at the tender, project and land stage.” shared his knowledge.
Stating that they have introduced a total of 379 new Family Health Centers to the benefit of the nation, Erdoğan stated that as of today, they serve citizens all over the country with 8 thousand 350 Family Health Centers and 30 thousand 286 family physician units.
Erdoğan stated that they have brought many services, health facilities and investments to the country that would take hours to list.
Stating that they did not come here easily, Erdogan said, “We came here from the days when hospitals resembled ruins. We came here from times when not only patients but also their relatives suffered incredible suffering. We came here from the tyranny of ‘knife money’, the inadequacy of ambulance services, and the times when the injured were dying on the roads. We not only transformed, renewed and strengthened the health system, but also changed the mentality and paradigm in service delivery, so that healthcare will never be closed again.” “We opened a clean page.” he said.
“AS A STATE AND NATION, WE CAN NEVER FULLY PAY YOUR RIGHTS, NO MATTER WHAT WE DO”
President Erdoğan thanked healthcare professionals for their support during this process and their efforts to revive the healthcare system and continued as follows:
“I want to underline this very clearly. The sacrifices of our healthcare workers are very, very valuable to us. As a state and a nation, no matter what we do, we can never fully repay you. We have not forgotten and will never forget our midwives who struggled to keep newborn babies alive in the moments when we experienced the disaster of the century. We have not forgotten and cannot forget our surgeons who did not leave the operating room for half a day when necessary to keep a patient alive, and who felt relieved as if the whole weight of the world had been lifted off their shoulders when they completed the operation successfully. “We have not forgotten and cannot forget our nurses and doctors who take care of their patients with the sensitivity of a sister and a sister and the compassion of a mother. We have not forgotten and cannot forget our caregivers who, without hesitation, provide services that even a child would have difficulty in providing for their patients.”
Stating that they know one thing very well, Erdoğan said, “Some things cannot be paid with wages, promotions, or thanks. Saving lives, being a balm for wounds, and providing healing is one of them. As our great poet Yunus Emre said, ‘If you come to a patient and give him a sip of water, tomorrow he will object, as if God had drunk your wine.’ That’s the whole point. I wholeheartedly believe that all the soldiers of our health army work and will work with this high sensitivity.” he said.
