May God protect and protect us from the scourge of the Zionists as soon as possible. May Israel be devastated by the name of ‘Kahhar’. Zionist Israel killed hundreds of thousands of people.
President Erdoğan: “Zionists will pay the price for the blood they shed”
I hope he will pay the price for this, I have no doubt. Of course, with all this, our stance is very important, as our teacher expressed in his prayer. The stance of Muslims is very important. We do not condone the waste of public property
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the 164th Establishment Anniversary Ceremony of the Court of Accounts:
I hope that the 164th anniversary of the Court of Accounts’ patrol, one of the most established institutions of our state, will be beneficial for our country and nation, especially the Court of Accounts family. Our Court of Accounts is an institution where the principle of continuity of our state is institutionally embodied.
RIGHTS OF 86 MILLION
Just as we see the defense of the national will as a duty of honor; We do not condone the waste of public property, its exploitation through illegal and irregular means, and especially its attempt to gain profit. Our attitude and stance on this issue is very clear.
Each of our 86 million citizens has the right to public property. Strange people, orphans and orphans who have no hair yet have their share. Beytulmal is also entrusted to us by future generations. It is our red line that all public personnel, regardless of their rank, title or position, act sensitively when using resources. Resources allocated to public personnel due to their duties or positions are not the property of anyone’s father. No matter what is written on his door, no public official can or should use it as his personal wallet. We cannot allow this.
Of course, it is not possible for states that cannot use their resources effectively and efficiently to be powerful and effective. For this reason, good management of public finances is of great importance. As Türkiye, we are a country that has suffered from wastefulness, carelessness and populism in the past.

WE WATCH THE SCANDALS
The scandals centered on local governments, which we have recently followed sometimes with astonishment and sometimes with shame, can never be excused. It is our duty to fight against those who see the nation’s trust as plunder, within the framework of the law and the law, no matter who they are.
WE WILL ACHIEVE VICTORY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TUTORIAL
We remember very well how the resources that the nation has raised from tooth and nail were squandered. Along with the greedy and incompetent, one of those who dealt the biggest blow to public finance was the tutelaries. All anti-democratic interventions, starting from the May 27, 1960 coup, whose 66th anniversary passed last week, have caused billions of dollars of damage to this country, impoverished our people and left Türkiye behind. None of us have forgotten how SSK was publicly collapsed, how the banks were emptied, and how the rentiers prospered from the public’s pockets. Along with the greedy and incompetent, one of those who dealt the biggest blow to public finance was the tutelaries.

JULY 15 CAUSED 350 BILLION DOLLARS OF DAMAGE: All anti-democratic interventions have caused billions of dollars of damage to this country, and the cost of the latest bloody coup attempt of July 15 to the Turkish economy is more than 350 billion dollars. They stole thousands of dollars from the pockets of each of our citizens.
THE COST OF GEZI IS TENS OF BILLION DOLLARS: The direct cost of the Gezi events, which was also a coup attempt, is 1.5 billion dollars, and the indirect cost is tens of billions of dollars. I believe that these should also be taken into account when talking about using public resources for the benefit of the public. Whether through street events, FETO-like terrorist organizations, or junta members; Unfortunately, the damage caused to our country and the nation’s purse by tutelage attempts targeting the national will is not discussed enough. Türkiye’s struggle against all kinds of tutelage centers is also a struggle to get rid of these burdens completely. Hopefully, when this struggle is victorious, the economic recovery of our country will accelerate and the nation’s resources will flow more into the nation’s pockets.
THE TURKISH WORLD HAS GAINED A DIFFERENT DIMENSION
Last November; We are very pleased with the Association of Courts of Accounts of Turkish States established in Istanbul with the participation of the Courts of Accounts of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. I believe that the union, of which our country will hold the term presidency for three years, will add a different dimension to our relations with the Turkish world. Hopefully, we will open the doors of a new era with the 13th Leaders Summit of the Organization of Turkish States, which will be hosted by our country in the fall. I pray that God will be our friend and helper. With these thoughts, I hope that the 164th anniversary of the Court of Accounts will once again be beneficial for our country and nation.

THE TOUR OF ACCOUNT HAS BEEN RENEWED WITH REFORMS
With the steps we have taken in the last 23 years, we have further expanded the scope of the Court of Accounts. We have transformed our Court of Accounts into a structure that responds to the needs of the 21st century and is shaped according to international standards. With this regulation, we enabled the Court of Accounts to renew itself. Thanks to democratization reforms, the Court of Accounts gained the authority to audit institutions using public resources. The Court of Accounts has also undertaken digital transformation.

HE MEETED WITH PASHINYAN ON THE PHONE
President Erdoğan spoke on the phone with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. During the meeting, where the normalization process between Türkiye and Armenia and regional issues were discussed, Pashinyan congratulated Erdogan on the past Eid al-Adha. During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that the normalization between Türkiye and Armenia continues with steps towards the initiation of direct trade. President Erdoğan also met with President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council Abdulfettah al Burhan yesterday. During the meeting where he discussed regional issues, Erdoğan stated that Turkey would continue its efforts to stop the bloodshed in Sudan. The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality period ended in the Basilica Cistern
The legal process regarding the ownership of the Basilica Cistern, one of the landmark structures remaining from the Byzantine period, has been concluded. The court ruled that the ownership of the historical building belongs to the General Directorate of Foundations, in accordance with the Foundations Law No. 5737, and decided that the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) should evacuate the cistern.

TRANSFER HAS BEEN DONE
IMM teams claimed that the location and square meter information on the island and parcel specified in the court decision belong to the area where the exit door of the Basilica Cistern is located. Thereupon, the General Directorate of Foundations and Fatih District Governorate teams continued the transfer process by entering through the exit door. IMM teams evacuated the historical cistern and handed it over to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Foundations and Fatih District Governorship teams. Following the transfer, the General Directorate of Foundations will continue the processes regarding the ownership and management of the Basilica Cistern.

WILL BE OPENED AGAIN
The cistern, which was closed with the start of the transfer process, will be reopened to visitors after the completion of the counter procedures to be carried out by the General Directorate of Foundations. Local and foreign tourists who come to visit the Basilica Cistern will be directed to the Şerefiye Cistern until the opening.
