The deterrence of our army will be increased to the highest level

Published

ERDOĞAN:

I condemn the treacherous attack that was foiled by the intervention of our security forces. We will not allow the climate of trust to be damaged by low and timed provocations.

With this new infrastructure established for our critical air defense systems, strategic missile projects and smart munitions, the deterrence of our heroic army will be at the highest level.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the “ROKETSAN Production Facilities Opening, Mass Production Deliveries and Groundbreaking Ceremony” held in Ankara Lalahan. Erdoğan briefly said the following in his speech at the ceremony:

GREAT DAY IN THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY
President Erdoğan opened Kırıkkale Fuel Production Facilities, Lalahan Warhead Facility, Advanced Technologies R&D and Engineering Center. At the ceremony, TAYFUN, SİPER, ATMACA, HİSAR-A, HİSAR-O and SUNGUR systems and ÇAKIR, SOM, the sharp claws of SİHAs, MAM-T and MAM-L were delivered to the TAF. The foundations of Lalahan Missile Integration Facilities were also laid.

❱ FOUNDER ACTOR OF THE NEW ORDER: Where air, land and sea domination are intertwined; We are in an age where unmanned technologies and positioning in cyberspace change all balances. We are one of the founding actors of this new order in which the rules and processes are reshaped. We are not worried about keeping up with this new system in which ‘trench warfare has been replaced by cyber warfare’; Because we, as a country, now determine the direction and course both in the field and in technology. With the products, systems, software and platforms we have developed in the last 23 years, our strong human resources and corporate capacity, we have become one of the countries that ‘set the norm’ in this field. Today, Türkiye is a country that protects its own skies, equips its own platforms and develops its own ammunition. We come to the aid of our friends and allies if they request it; We contribute to global peace and security at the highest level.

❱ WE WILL BE IN THE TOP 10: We reduced our foreign dependency rate in defense from 80 percent to 20 percent. Our sectoral turnover exceeded 20 billion dollars, and our R&D expenditures reached 3.5 billion dollars. While our number of active projects exceeded 1400, our project portfolio exceeded 100 billion dollars. We increased our defense exports, which were only 248 million dollars in 2002, to over 10 billion dollars last year. In the first quarter of 2026, our defense and aerospace exports reached 1 billion 910 million dollars, an increase of 12.1 percent compared to the same period last year. We will reach the 11 billion dollar export volume that we have set as our 2028 target, and we will be among the top 10 in the world in defense exports. After the wars around us are over, we will achieve a boom in every field, especially in the defense industry. Despite the efforts to hinder Türkiye, we will achieve this ‘great breakthrough’ together.

❱ AN IMPORTANT THRESHOLD: Today, we are leaving behind another very important threshold on the path to a fully independent Türkiye in defense. With these investments, which will make our defense industry a stronger development axis and increase the rate of qualified employment, we will strengthen our Layered Air Defense System, increase our strategic power, and strengthen our cruise and ballistic missile capabilities. We will make significant contributions to our smart ammunition family, mass production speed and R&D capacity.

❱ Striking POWER OF THE STEEL DOME: Our air defense architecture will be further strengthened as these systems, which constitute the striking power of the Steel Dome, reach a higher production rate. With this new infrastructure established for our critical air defense systems, strategic missile projects and smart ammunition capabilities, we will increase the deterrence of our heroic army to much higher levels.

❱ ‘THE FISH ARE AFRAID’ THEY SAID: Erdoğan said, “While we were conducting missile tests in Sinop, the leader of the main opposition party said, ‘Fish are frightened by the sound of missiles and leave their nests.’ His predecessor, whom this person sent off with crocodile tears, said, ‘What is the need for these? Who will attack us?’ he said. If we had listened to these, we would not be even close to where we are today in the defense industry.

3 BILLION DOLLAR INVESTMENT
Erdoğan said, “The main goal of the coming period in the defense industry is to produce high-tech products faster, more effectively and in higher quantities. With these facilities and systems, whose completed investment cost is 1 billion dollars and the total investment scale reaches 3 billion dollars, we will reach the range faster and accelerate the determined steps we have taken.”

WE TRUST THE POWER OF OUR WRIST
President Erdoğan said, “We are rightfully proud of being at a prominent level in the defense industry. Today, we feel safe while missiles and drones are flying around us. Today, if anything happens to us, we do not rely on anyone else, but first of all, the strength of our own hands. Not only we, but also our competitors and adversaries know these very well. We have never easily reached the proud levels in the defense industry, the importance of which is better understood these days; we were tested, stalled, left in the middle, blocked, threatened. “We were subjected to restrictions that we did not deserve, but we did not submit to any of them,” he said.

LOW AND TIMED PROVOCATION
Referring to the terrorist attack that took place yesterday at noon in Istanbul Levent, President Erdoğan said, “I want it to be known that we condemn the treacherous attack, which was foiled by the successful intervention of our heroic security forces. In the heinous terrorist attack, 3 terrorists were neutralized, one dead and two injured. Our two heroic police officers were slightly injured during the intervention. Both our Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and our police and intelligence units quickly launched the necessary investigations regarding the attack. May God grant a speedy recovery to our injured police officers.” “I wish the Istanbul Police and the people of Istanbul to get well soon. We will continue our fight against all forms of terrorism with determination, and we will not allow Türkiye’s climate of trust to be damaged by vile and timely provocations like today.”

MEETS WITH SPANISH PRIME MINISTER SANCHEZ
PRESIDENT Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. Leaders discussed bilateral relations, regional and global issues. President Erdoğan stated that the solidarity shown by Türkiye and Spain in every field, especially in defense, was welcomed by our people and that they aim to take our relations even further.

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi made special statements to A Haber. How did the mine workers' protest end? Special statements from Minister Çiftçi to A Haber: Our state is always with the workers

Minister Çiftçi said:

“WE HAVE ALWAYS REGARDED THE SWEAT AND HALAL PROFIT”

“Our streets are the place of peace, security and the natural flow of life. Streets should be areas where our children, youth and families feel safe.

For this reason, the place to solve social issues is the ground of dialogue and negotiation; The permanent solution comes from here.

The understanding of “Keep people alive so that the state lives”, which our President and Chairman Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan underlined at every opportunity and which we put forward during the AK Party governments, is not just a saying for us, but the basic guide of our state administration.

Special statements from Minister Çiftçi to A Haber

In line with this understanding, we have always valued labor, sweat and halal earnings.

In this sense, we could not remain indifferent to the voices raised by our mine workers in the streets. Following our meeting with the employer side 2 days ago, we did our best yesterday to bring the parties together under the coordination of our Ministry of Internal Affairs and create a common ground with the participation of all relevant stakeholders.

How did the mine workers' protest end? Special statements from Minister Çiftçi to A Haber: Our state is always with the workers

“WE WERE WELCOME WITH GREAT SATISFACTION”

We are very pleased that this dialogue process yielded positive results in a short time and an agreement was reached.

After this agreement, our workers ended the strike by giving flowers to our law enforcement officers, which was a manifestation of the spirit of respect, trust, dignity and unity that our nation carries at its core.

As a result of this agreement, the action ended; This is an extremely important and pleasing development in terms of both the establishment of labor peace and the delivery of rights.

I would especially like to express that; Our fellow workers and union representatives did not give opportunity to those who wanted to exploit the process and displayed a common sense and dignified stance.

I would like to wholeheartedly thank all stakeholders who have contributed to preserving the peace of our society by taking this stance.

Message from Minister Bolat about cooperation with the Netherlands: “Our target is 15 billion dollars”

Published

on

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat attended the reception held by the Dutch Embassy in Ankara at the embassy residence on the occasion of “King’s Day”.

Speaking at the reception attended by Dutch Ambassador to Ankara Joep Wijnands and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Bolat said that the more than 500-year-old friendship between Turkey and the Netherlands has also guided the development of global trade and finance.

Bolat stated that diplomatic relations between the two countries, built on solid foundations, have expanded into strategic areas such as economy, trade, culture and defense and turned into a multidimensional partnership.

“WE WILL CARRY COOPERATION FURTHER”

Stating that Turkey and the Netherlands are two allies standing side by side in platforms such as the United Nations (UN), NATO and the European Council, Bolat stated that they continue to contribute to regional and global stability in line with common priorities, and that these solid ties will take economic and commercial cooperation to much higher levels.

Pointing out that the Turkish economy maintains its resilience and strength and continues to grow despite global challenges such as regional instabilities and economic shocks, Bolat said, “The European Union (EU) has always been our main partner in this growth process. Turkey has become an important production and supply center for Europe, the EU has become Türkiye’s largest trade partner, and Turkey has become the EU’s 5th largest trade partner.” he said.

“NETHERLANDS ARE ONE OF Türkiye’S MOST IMPORTANT TRADE PARTNERS”

Emphasizing that geopolitical developments in the region, increasing protectionist tendencies and energy crises make establishing strong economic relations more important than ever, Bolat said:

“As Turkey, we aim to further strengthen our economic cooperation with its key partners in the EU, especially the Netherlands. We attach importance to further developing our relations with the Netherlands, both bilaterally and under the umbrella of the EU. Today, the Netherlands is one of Türkiye’s most important trade partners among EU member states. Our bilateral trade volume with the Netherlands increased from 6.4 billion dollars in 2015 to 13.3 billion dollars in 2025. Our target is to reach 15 billion dollars by the end of 2026. “The 145-frequency air transportation between our countries virtually confirms our strong connectivity. We also see this in our tourism data. We hosted 1.3 million Dutch people in our country by 2025.”

Bolat stated that the mutually developing investment relations with the Netherlands are an important dynamic of the partnership that grows on a global scale, and said, “Today, the Netherlands is the first country among our economic partners with its 32 billion dollar investment portfolio in Türkiye.” he said.

Stating that more than 3 thousand Dutch companies operating in Türkiye further reinforce their strong and reliable role in the EU value chains, Bolat stated that Turkish investments have reached approximately 25 billion dollars in the Netherlands by 2025, which corresponds to 40 percent of Türkiye’s total investments abroad.

Bolat stated that Turkish overseas contractors, who have undertaken prestigious projects around the world, have successfully completed contracting projects worth 4.6 billion dollars in the Netherlands to date.

“Türkiye HAS PROMISING POTENTIAL IN THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY

Stating that they believe that the UN Climate Change Conference (COP31), which Türkiye will host in November this year, will provide the basis for innovative collaborations for Turkish and Dutch stakeholders and business people, Bolat said:

“Turkey has an exceptional and promising potential in the field of defense industry for the Netherlands and Europe. Türkiye’s visionary role in defense and industrial integration carries a strategic value as a guarantee of regional security and stability. Turkey will once again register its key position in the global defense architecture by hosting the NATO Summit in July this year. I also had the opportunity to meet with my interlocutor, Minister Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, on the margins of the World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference. At the beginning of July, “This time, we agreed to hold JETCO’s 6th Term Meeting in the Netherlands. We will bring our business circles together on the occasion of the meeting and create a comprehensive road map for our future collaborations.”

Minister Göktaş shared a video on his social media account in which he answered questions regarding social media regulation for children. In his post, Göktaş said, “Let’s state it clearly once again. We are implementing regulations that secure our children and protect our future generations.

Minister Göktaş explained the details of the social media law: This is not a ban, it is a regulation.

We want to dominate a digital ecosystem where our children can navigate safely and move forward safely into the future. “We will continue to take strategic steps towards this goal and work determinedly for our only children.”

Minister Göktaş explained the details of the social media law: This is not a ban, it is a regulation.

“THIS IS NOT A BAN, IT IS A REGULATION”

In the video, “How far is the ban? Can’t we educate our children instead?” Göktaş answered the question: “This is not a ban, it is a regulation. Of course, we should provide education. We need to provide it to the whole society. We already have education programs for adults. Just as we give traffic education to our children but also put a lamp on, it is the same. Ultimately, social media should also have a traffic light.” he replied.
“So will children never be able to access the internet?” On the question, Göktaş said: “Of course, it will be on the internet. Our aim here is to bring a limitation and regulation to the platforms where foreigners can access our children. Ultimately, our children will be able to do their research and access the internet. Our aim is to bring a regulation to these companies, which earn billions of dollars especially through our children.”

Stating that they have started a new practice for people convicted of drug crimes in 6 prisons, Minister Gürlek said, “In other words, after the treatment process is completed and the Administrative Observation Board gives a positive report, they will go out. In other words, they will leave the drugs inside and come out clean. We attach importance to rehabilitation, we are also working on this issue.”

Unsolved murders: WE ESTABLISHED A TEAM ON THESE

We have established a team to deal with these. Our team members are all experienced.”

Minister Gürlek stated that they do not have the authority to directly intervene in these files, but the deficiencies are being examined.

Big scandal from the artificial intelligence tool Grok: He translated President Erdoğan’s words with slang!

Published

on

Grok, the artificial intelligence robot developed by US billionaire Elon Musk’s xAI company, has caused a new scandal. A phrase used by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in his speech at the AK Party Group Meeting held today was completely misinterpreted by Grok to the world public.

TRANSLATION DISGRACE FROM GROK

Reacting to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, President Erdoğan said, “The old Türkiye no longer exists, you will burn as much land as you can…”. Erdoğan’s statement, “You can burn as much space as you can”, which means “You can do as much work as your capacity and sphere of influence”, was taken out of context by Grok. By misinterpreting the word origins and idiomatic structure, the artificial intelligence translated the text into English with a sentence that contained heavy slang and turned it into a sexually explicit insult.

REACTIONS ARE RAINING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

After the translation error was noticed, social media users reacted harshly to the situation. Users with the translation feature turned on continue to read Erdoğan’s post in an offensive language that is completely far from its original meaning, contrary to diplomatic courtesy.
