In line with the work carried out within the scope of the protocol signed between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Railways, the restoration and conservation applications on the three facades of the historical building overlooking the Marmara Sea have been completed.

Following the work, the scaffolding on the facades was removed, and the original architectural details of Haydarpaşa Train Station became visible again. Thus, the historical station, one of the most important landmarks of Istanbul, regained its strong appearance in the city’s skyline after many years. During the restoration works, detailed examinations were made on some balcony railings and related architectural elements of Haydarpaşa Train Station.

NEW APRON OF 160 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS: With the new apron area of ​​160 thousand square meters, we have created a high capacity where 44 aircraft can park simultaneously. We carried out a total of 60 thousand square meters of coated production, including runways, aprons and taxiways. We renewed all taxiways with excavation, filling and asphalt production. The lighting systems, approach lights and directional signs of the runway and taxiways were modernized in accordance with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
