Last minute | ‘Election’ message from MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli: Our President is on duty, we stand behind him
Breaking news… MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party’s group meeting. MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said, “Zengezur line is the Turan corridor. The Turan corridor should be opened, it is very important for the strategic position of the Turkish world…” Regarding the ‘early election’ discussions, Bahçeli said, “The important thing is that the election is held on time. Our president is in office and we are behind him.” he said.
Highlights from Bahçeli’s statements are as follows:
The policy followed by the Israeli administration after October 7 has tested the patience. Israel has turned into a machine of death and revenge politics. The Netanyahu administration is a crisis production mechanism that threatens the peace of the region.
“IT IS A DECLARATION OF NETANYAHU’S IMPAIRMENT, HURRY AND EXHAUST”
Netanyahu’s political serendipity is clearly evident. He lives in the shadow of the corruption files in which he is the leading actor, the deepening crisis of legitimacy in domestic politics, the lust for power that divides Israeli society into pieces, and the heavy processes in international judicial authorities that he ignites.
The targeting of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, by this evil mentality, which ties its political life to a bloody security narrative, fuels the fire to maintain its seat, and tries to cover up the atrocities it has created in the Middle East with a curtain of slander and propaganda, is a declaration of Netanyahu’s impotence, haste and exhaustion.
While the lifeless bodies of children are being buried in Gaza, the dignity of Palestinian prisoners is violated, land grabs continue in the West Bank, and the historical and cultural fabric in Lebanon is destroyed by bombs, trying to give moral lessons to Türkiye and wagging the finger at our President is a flag of surrender by the headquarters of the mind.
“UNITED NATIONS ARE PLAYING THREE MONKEYS”
One of the institutions that should be questioned in the face of this sad situation the world is in is the United Nations. While humanity is groaning in Gaza and suffering and massacre are rampant in our region, the United Nations is playing the three monkeys.
HORmuz MESSAGE
The Strait of Hormuz is not just any waterway. Hormuz is a strategic gateway to the pulse of energy supply, global trade, maritime security, food prices and regional stability. The tension on this line has dragged not only the Gulf but also a wide geography from Asia to Europe, from Africa to the Mediterranean, into economic and political turbulence.
“THE TURKISH NATION IS AGAINST THE ENEMIES OF PEACE”
Although we find the agreement reached between the United States and Iran in the midst of such a dark and complex picture pleasing, we follow it carefully. This development is pleasing, but our satisfaction will not lead us to complacency. Opening the door to diplomacy will not mean closing the door to measures.
The Turkish nation is against the enemies of peace.
Zangezur line is the Turan corridor. The Turan corridor should be opened, it is very important for the strategic position of the Turkish world…
ATTENTION-CATCHING ‘ELECTION’ MESSAGE
The important thing is that the election is made on time. Our President is in office and we stand behind him.

Temporary ceasefire in the podium war – Breaking News
A ‘temporary ceasefire’ was declared in the CHP, which has been experiencing an unprecedented civil war since the absolute nullity decision of the appeal. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir, who made a press statement in the Turkish Grand National Assembly yesterday, shared the information: “There has been no application from our headquarters to our Parliament to hold a group meeting. We understand that they are not working on a group meeting. We are pleased. Our esteemed Chairman (Özgür Özel), especially seeing the fatigue of our organizations, has decided not to hold a group meeting this week.”
WE DO NOT DO THAT
Minutes after Emir’s statement, a similar announcement came from the headquarters. In the information made by CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı, he said, “In order to preserve the unity of the CHP and prevent the formation of new divisions and tensions, our Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has decided not to hold the group meeting planned to be held in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.”
THE MORNING IS ANOTHER, THE NOON IS ANOTHER
It was also noteworthy that the statements coming from both wings yesterday were different in the morning and different in the afternoon. First, CHP Deputy Aylin Nazlıaka shared a post on her social media account stating that Özgür Özel would speak at the group meeting. The post was deleted shortly after. At the same time, headquarters sources claimed that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu would speak at the group meeting. However, at noon, the situation changed completely and both wings declared “We will not hold a group meeting”. “Were negotiations held at the back door?” It brought the question to mind.
“NO COMPROMISE”
Responding to the question of whether there is an agreement between the two fronts in this context, Murat Emir said, “We are not in a dialogue. There is no ground for compromise. Dialogue, compromise, softening, etc. are out of the question. We learned with great pleasure that the CHP Headquarters decided not to hold a group meeting in the Parliament this week. Because we are extremely uncomfortable with our party being discussed in the public eye.”
EMİR: WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE
On the other hand, Murat Emir commented at yesterday’s press conference regarding the new party allegations as “pure speculation”. Stating that 900 signatures were collected from the delegates for the extraordinary congress and will be delivered to the headquarters tomorrow, Emir also argued that the congress should be held by July 20. Noting that there has been a lot of speculation regarding the new party allegations, Emir said, “We are in our party. We are in our father’s house, we are not going anywhere.”
