Breaking news | Message from President Erdoğan to the business world! “The biggest winner of this will be Türkiye”
“OUR DEFENSE EXPORTS INCREASED BY 29.5 PERCENT IN THE FIRST 5 MONTHS OF THE YEAR”
Stating that another success of theirs was the increase in the export share of medium and high technology products, Erdoğan continued as follows:
“Our exports of medium-high and high-tech products, which were 10 billion dollars in 2002, increased to 112 billion dollars in 2025. This positive picture continues in 2026. Our annualized exports of medium-high and high-tech manufacturing industry products reached 114.4 billion dollars. Our defense and aerospace exports increased by more than 40 percent in the last 23 years and exceeded 10 billion dollars in 2025. This field, which is the symbol of our high value-added production, “We see that the momentum continues very strongly. According to the latest data, defense and aerospace exports increased by 29 percent in the January-May period, reaching 3 billion 863 million dollars. Thus, there was a 29.5 percent increase in our defense exports in the first 5 months of the year. We reached the level of 992 million dollars in monthly exports in the same sector.”
President Erdoğan stated that there was a temporary slowdown in foreign trade data in May due to the holiday effect, but the ratio of exports to imports increased, and said, “More importantly, the share of medium-high and high-tech products in our exports reached 44 percent. We believe that we will regain a strong momentum in exports with the elimination of the calendar effect in June. The positive trend on the growth front still continues. Despite the painful atmosphere that affects the whole world, including developed countries, as Türkiye, we have been continuing our growth uninterrupted for 23 quarters.” made his assessment.
Erdoğan stated that they hope to achieve the expected inflation rates as the shock waves in energy prices caused by the global crisis triggered by the Iran war calm down.
Stating that he wanted to underline a fact, Erdoğan said, “In the climate of uncertainty that the global economy is going through, our country’s greatest chance is the environment of stability and trust that we have achieved by paying heavy prices during the period of our governments since 2002. The existence of an environment of stability and trust makes it easier to solve all kinds of problems, no matter how complicated, or to find a solution. Moreover, the presence of experienced, visionary and well-coordinated staff at work in Türkiye is a historical asset to our country in managing all these global and regional challenges.” It gives an advantage.” he said.
“WE DEFEND RIGHTS AND JUSTICE WITHOUT HESITING FROM ANYONE”
President Erdoğan stated that while Türkiye benefits from the asymmetric opportunities offered by stability in politics, the main problem in many countries of the world is the issue of butterfly-lived governments that dissolve before even completing their year in office.
Emphasizing that Westerners today face this problem, which they experienced frequently in the 70s and 90s and resolved in 2002, Erdoğan said, “As a result of this, while they cannot properly cope with even a single crisis, we struggle with many problems at the same time on different fronts and manage them successfully. While keeping our country away from conflicts, we take an active part in peace efforts and defend rights and justice without hesitation from anyone.” he said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that they are aware of the difficulties experienced in accessing finance and said, “In our cabinet meeting on Monday, while discussing the current situation of the Turkish economy, we also discussed the financing issue in detail. We gave the necessary instructions to the economic management to carry out a comprehensive study, taking into account past experiences on this issue.” he said.
Speaking at the 39th General Assembly of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and the Respect for Masters Award Ceremony, Erdogan said that everyone, friend and foe, now has to accept the reality of Turkey, which makes its power felt on the field as well as on the table.
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye increases its brand value on a global scale as it solves chronic problems such as terrorism, tutelage and instability, and stated that he finds the sensitivity of the business world to maintain an environment of stability and trust very meaningful in this regard.
Underlining that both the government and the alliance will continue to do their part to protect and strengthen this climate, Erdoğan said, “In this period when global and regional crises are constant, our government stands by our real sector with all its means.” he said.
Erdoğan noted that they did not leave alone those who produce for Turkey, those who provide employment for the nation, and the exporters who deliver Turkish products to every corner of the world, and said, “We increased Eximbank’s capital from 13.8 billion lira to 100 billion lira. Our bank’s credit and insurance support reached 26 billion dollars with an increase of 31 percent in the first 5 months of this year. Hopefully, at the end of the year, our bank will break a record with the support of 60 billion dollars. The rediscount provided by our Central Bank “The loans reached 1 trillion 267 billion lira in the last year. In addition, we provide foreign currency conversion support to our exporters and continue to support their production and competitiveness. Despite the increases in global energy prices, we protect our citizens and producers with the Ecel mobile system.” he said.
Stating that Türkiye is among the most advantageous countries in Europe in terms of manufacturing industry, electricity and natural gas costs, Erdoğan said, “We have previously launched our Investment Commitment Advance Loan and HIT-30 programs to encourage high value-added production in the industry. We are strengthening our labor-intensive sectors with wage and transportation supports. We are aware of the difficulties in accessing finance. In our cabinet meeting on Monday, we discussed the current situation of the Turkish economy and also discussed the financing issue in detail.” “We have given the necessary instructions to the economic management to carry out a comprehensive study, taking into account past experiences.” he said.
Erdoğan underlined that as important as access to finance is, it is also important to use these resources in the right place and in the right way, and said, “We want our country’s scarce resources to go to production, exports, investment and industry, not to unproductive areas.” he said.
“THE DETERMINANT OF EXPORT IS FOREIGN DEMAND”
President Erdoğan emphasized that the primary rule of business life is to find a market to sell the product and continued as follows:
“The determinant of exports is foreign demand. Permanent success does not come with palliative solutions, but with new customers, new markets and strong commercial relations. We attach great importance to our business world, especially DEIK, opening up to new markets. We are open to any suggestions from you on this subject. Dear friends, I would like everyone to know this once and for all. When the dust cloud surrounding us, both economically, commercially and diplomatically, clears up, Turkey will be the biggest winner. I hope we will enter a period in which we will talk about opportunities, not crises.” “Our package, which came into force on Thursday, is a part of this. We aim to transform the Istanbul Financial Center into a regional base of global investment, international trade and financial services. We exempt the profits from the financial services offered here from tax for 20 years.”
Explaining that they have introduced very strong incentives for companies engaged in international trade, Erdoğan said, “Companies that carry out their transit trade activities through the Istanbul Financial Center will not pay corporate tax. Moreover, we do not limit this approach only to Istanbul. We exclude 95 percent of the profits from transit trade all over Türkiye from tax.” he said.
“BE A PART OF THE GROWTH STORY OF THE NEW AND STRONG Türkiye”
Stating that they took a historical step for the producers, Erdoğan said:
“We have halved the corporate tax rate applied to industrial manufacturing and agricultural production. Our industrialists and farmers will now pay 12.5 percent corporate tax. We invite companies operating around the world to move their regional management centers to Türkiye. Our message is very clear, ‘Manage your operations from Türkiye and benefit from the advantages.’ We are also making a new call to investors, entrepreneurs and citizens living abroad in different countries of the world. Come to Türkiye, settle in Türkiye. “Be a part of the growth story of the new and powerful Türkiye.”
President Erdoğan underlined that foreigners settling in Türkiye and Turkish citizens living abroad will not pay taxes on their income from abroad for 20 years if they meet certain conditions, and said:
“We are determined to transform Türkiye into a global center where not only investments are made, but also where investments are managed, trade is directed, and capital meets. On this occasion, I would like to make an appeal to our DEİK family. You are both business people and Türkiye’s trade ambassadors. You are the ones who will best explain the potential of our country and the opportunities it offers to the world. We expect your support in this regard. By joining hands with DEİK, we will take Türkiye to a much stronger position in production, trade and investments. I believe it wholeheartedly.”
Erdoğan, who wished DEİK 39th Ordinary General Assembly to be beneficial and auspicious for Türkiye, the business world and DEİK family, completed his speech by congratulating the masters who were deemed worthy of the award.

BREAKING NEWS: MHP leader Bahçeli: It is Kılıçdaroğlu’s natural right to express his views
Regarding the New Party founded by Özgür Özel, who left the CHP, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli said, “All parties, especially Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu and Mr. Özel, must act within the framework of common sense, maintain mutual respect and take the political struggle beyond personal showdowns.” he said.
In his written statement regarding the New Party, Bahçeli emphasized that the State of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish nation are above political parties, and underlined that the Turkish nation is at the center of politics and above all political structures. Stating that no intra-party struggle, no seat conflict and no personal resentment can be considered more important than Türkiye’s common future, Bahçeli made the following evaluations: “The Republican People’s Party is one of the deep-rooted institutions of Turkish political life, founded by our first President and eternal Commander-in-Chief, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It is clear that there are deep differences between the Nationalist Movement Party and the Republican People’s Party in terms of ideas, politics and worldview at the point reached today. These differences are natural of democratic life.” This result is of course valid for other parties that are the motifs of our political life. The existence of differences cannot be considered a sign of weakness. On the contrary, every thought that remains within national borders and democratic legitimacy has never been in a colorless and soulless ground where all parties repeat the same words. Democratic life is a common place where different voices are heard and different ideas compete in the presence of the nation. “It is a great national consensus where the will is demonstrated. Making political differences an excuse for conflict will not serve Türkiye. Carrying the separation to the level of hostility, poisoning the competition with a sense of revenge and turning intra-party conflicts into social tension will harm the reputation of Turkish politics.” Bahçeli expressed his opinion that it is CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’s natural right to express the injustices he thinks he has suffered, to take legal action and to express his views on the future of his party, of which he has been chairman for many years.
“REOPENING OLD ACCOUNTS WILL NOT BENEFIT ANYONE”
Stating that Kılıçdaroğlu has assumed responsibility in Turkish politics for many years and received the democratic support of millions of citizens, Bahçeli said, “It is not right that the evaluations against him turn into a campaign of insult, belittlement and discrediting. However, it will not benefit anyone to carry all the resentments of the past to today’s political arena, to reopen old scores at every opportunity and to constantly make wounds bleed. If politics becomes an area of showdown where anger never subsides, the competitive environment, whose framework is drawn with red and sharp lines of democracy, will increasingly turn into hostility.” “Reckoning the past should not turn into a search for revenge that holds the future hostage.” made his assessment. Bahçeli reminded that New Party Chairman Özgür Özel took part in Turkish political life both with his political work under the umbrella of CHP and with his post as chairman of the recently established New Party, and that there were 91 deputies who trusted Özel’s policies and a potential electorate who wished him well. Expressing that they do not want Özel’s political personality to be eroded in daily discussions, Bahçeli said, “Just as Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu’s rights were legally respected, Mr. Özel’s knowledge and position should also be respected. Turkish politics does not allow a shallow understanding that concedes one right while sacrificing the other.” made the statement.

The woman; It was decided that both cases were accepted and the parties were divorced on the grounds that he did not allow his wife to meet with his family, did not want guests to come to the house, constantly changed furniture and made expenses, and that although both parties were at fault, the woman was more seriously at fault than the man. It was decided to reject the wife’s request for material and moral compensation of 75 thousand liras and poverty alimony, and to award 5 thousand liras of material and 5 thousand liras of non-pecuniary compensation for the man.
