Critical meeting in Egypt – Last Minute News
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan went to Egypt yesterday after his visit to Saudi Arabia the day before. Erdoğan spoke at the joint press conference held after the bilateral meeting and meeting between delegations with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Erdogan said:
COMMON VISION: We want to benefit from our bonds of brotherhood, formed by our thousand-year common history, not only for the welfare of our people, but also to contribute to the stability of our region, including Palestine. We observe that our relations have moved forward in every field thanks to this common vision we have determined with Mr. Sisi.
15 BILLION DOLLAR TARGET: Egypt continues to be Türkiye’s largest trade partner in Africa. We aim to increase our trade volume, which has been in the range of 8-9 billion dollars for the last three years, to 15 billion dollars. We are very pleased that the investments of Turkish companies in Egypt are approaching 4 billion dollars.
IT HAS POSITIVELY REFLECTED ON TOURISM: The strengthening relations between Türkiye and Egypt have also had a positive reflection on tourism. Last year, more than 500 thousand tourists were hosted mutually. Our hope is for this to double in the coming period. Egyptian people show great interest in Turkish culture and language. We wish to increase our cooperation in the fields of bilateral maritime trade and transport, freedom of navigation and maritime security.

COMMON AGENDA PALESTINE CASE: We believe that the joint steps to be taken will make serious contributions to both regional peace and the economic and strategic interests of the two countries. The main issue of our common agenda is the Palestinian cause. It is a fact that, although a ceasefire has been established, the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza still continues. More than 500 Gazans have lost their lives in Israeli attacks since October 11. Last week, 30 of our brothers, including children, were martyred. We reject these attacks and violations aimed at sabotaging the Sharm al-Sheikh declaration. We are working with Egypt on initiatives that will make peace in Gaza possible.
RECONSTRUCTION OF GAZA: We will make the same contribution to the reconstruction of Gaza, which was destroyed by Israeli attacks. On this occasion, I would like to thank the Egyptian authorities for their cooperation in delivering the humanitarian aid we sent to Gaza to the region. During our meetings, we also touched upon regional issues, especially Libya, Sudan and the Horn of Africa. Maintaining unity and integrity in the country in order to establish permanent stability in Libya continues to be our common goal with Egypt.
THE IRAN ISSUE MUST BE SOLVED DIPLOMATICLY: The biggest winner of a Syria whose territorial integrity is preserved and political unity is achieved will be our entire region. We are supporters of the great transformation in Syria. We are determined to continue this support. We find and support the statements made by Egypt regarding the preservation of Syria’s unity. We believe that foreign interventions, especially with our neighbor Iran, will pose significant risks for the entire region. The most appropriate method is to resolve issues with Iran, including the nuclear file, through diplomatic means. On the other hand, President Erdoğan sent a video message to the 2026 Zayed Human Fraternity Awards program. Congratulating Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who were deemed worthy of the award this year, Erdogan said, “I would especially like to express that I find their determined will to establish permanent peace extremely valuable.”

Sisi: Türkiye IS OUR FIRST PARTNER IN AFRICA
Drawing attention to the cooperation with Turkey in various fields, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said, “Egypt is considered Türkiye’s first partner on the African continent. We are working to increase the trade volume between the two countries, which is 9 billion dollars, to 15 billion dollars, this is our goal.” Regarding the situation in the Middle East, Sisi said, “Our region is becoming pregnant with crises and turmoil very quickly. (Egypt-Turkey) We need to deeply consolidate this cooperation so that we can reach sustainable political solutions (in the region) as soon as possible. What is important now in Gaza is the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region as soon as possible. The two-state solution and the establishment of the Palestinian state are extremely important. My brother Erdogan is Egypt’s most cherished guest.”
WE DO NOT ACCEPT ISRAEL’S DECISION
President Erdoğan said, “We hope that a ceasefire will first be achieved in Sudan and then a sustainable peace will be established. We do not accept Israel’s decision to recognize Somaliland, which targets Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Steps for the future of the Somaliland region must be taken in a way that reflects the will of all Somalis.”

7 AGREEMENTS WERE SIGNED
Erdoğan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi chaired the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council Meeting after the bilateral meeting. During the meetings, global and regional issues as well as relations between the two countries were discussed. 7 separate agreements were signed between the two countries, especially on defense, health and investment.
WARM WELCOME FROM SASI
President Erdoğan, who went to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, with his wife Emine Erdoğan and her accompanying delegation, was welcomed at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian President Sisi and his wife Entissar Amer. An official welcome ceremony was held for Erdoğan, who went from the airport to Al-Ittihadiye Palace. The anthems of the two countries were sung at the official ceremony, which started with cannon fire at the entrance to the palace. After the visit, President Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan were bid farewell by Sisi and his wife Entissar Amer.

ERDOĞAN GIVEN A TOGG TO SİSİ
President Erdoğan presented Türkiye’s domestic electric car, Anatolian red Togg, to Egyptian President Sisi. Erdoğan and Sisi came from Al-Ittihadiye Palace to the hotel where the Türkiye-Egypt Business Forum was held, in the Togg that Sisi used. Making a speech at the closing session of the forum, Erdoğan stated that he told Sisi that he followed the 2030 vision, which will mark the future of Egypt, with interest. Erdoğan said, “We are two great countries at the center of the developments that occupy the international agenda the most. Together, we witness the contribution of the cooperation between us not only to our countries, but also to the stability of our region.” Reminding the target of 15 billion dollars of trade volume between the two countries, Erdoğan noted that every step they take to advance cooperation creates a multiplier effect in a wide range of areas.

EMINE ERDOĞAN VISITED THE PYRAMIDS

Not accepting guests is a reason for divorce
The couple, who have been married for 43 years, mutually applied to the Family Court and filed for divorce. The plaintiff woman, a retired teacher, claimed that her husband, a retired civil servant, was addicted to gambling and did not even pay the bills of the house. She stated that the husband filed a lawsuit to prolong the trial, that the parties got married in 1981, that the husband was gambling, and that he constantly made statements such as ‘Are you a woman, you are the most retarded’. The man who testified in court claimed that the wife’s attitude and behavior caused the marital union to be shaken, that the wife behaved badly and slandered, and that he had a simple life and was subjected to violence and insults.
The woman; It was decided that both cases were accepted and the parties were divorced on the grounds that he did not allow his wife to meet with his family, did not want guests to come to the house, constantly changed furniture and made expenses, and that although both parties were at fault, the woman was more seriously at fault than the man. It was decided to reject the wife’s request for material and moral compensation of 75 thousand liras and poverty alimony, and to award 5 thousand liras of material and 5 thousand liras of non-pecuniary compensation for the man. In the case, the General Assembly of the Supreme Court of Appeals made a precedent decision. In the decision, it was stated that “It is undisputed that the woman is seriously at fault and the man is slightly at fault in the events that led to the divorce. The decision to reject the male spouse’s compensation claims is not in accordance with the announced legal regulations and principles.”

Extra fight between CHP and New Party
The allegations that nearly 200 extras were brought to the badge-wearing ceremony attended by CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in Istanbul and that the hall was filled in this way were denied, accompanied by harsh criticism, from CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Gürsel Tekin and former CHP General Secretary Mehmet Sevigen. Gürsel Tekin, who held a press conference, said: “They did something that the devil would never think of.

We filed a criminal complaint immediately at night. At first, me and our friends were not involved in any dirty side. We did not set a trap for anyone. Whoever set this trap, even if it is my brother, dear prosecutors, you will go to the end. We will definitely find whoever is responsible for this FETO-like scheme. “What happens if there are 70 people missing in a huge hall, what happens if there are more?”

MEDIA TRACE FUNDS
Reacting to CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the supporting media that broadcast bias against them, Tekin said, “700-800 of our friends around our hall could not even enter. Because the number of the hall was limited. Our kindness has reached the limit. We know what we have suffered from these for 10 months.” Tekin, who also revealed with his documents the invoices issued by Özel and his team to some media organs, said, “Burhanettin Bulut is looking at ‘media buying’. Aziz İhsan is buying Burhanettin, and Burhanettin is buying your news.

Yesterday the first two news were published by Akşam and BirGün. “Here are the invoices issued to Gazete Gündem,” he said. Tekin also showed the 3.5 million lira invoice that Özel and his team allegedly issued to BirGün Newspaper. Speaking to SABAH, former CHP General Secretary Mehmet Sevigen said, “I was there too. They tell stories. Don’t we have the power to find 200-300 people and give money to casting agencies? If we had such a problem, we would immediately bring 10 thousand men from the provinces and districts. I can’t understand what kind of CHP these people are creating in their minds. “I personally know 90 percent of the people in the hall,” he said. Meanwhile, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the allegations upon the application of the CHP. In this crisis, which was reflected in the field after Özel and his team left the CHP and formed a New Party, there was no direct evaluation from the Özgür Özel front regarding the “extra” allegations.
