Bilal Erdoğan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University, visited Malaysia
Bilal Erdoğan, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. His visit to Malaysia, accompanied by Erol Özvar, started with the “Leadership Summit 2026” program held in Kuala Lumpur.
At the summit, which had a global impact, critical issues such as the unity and solidarity of the Muslim world, especially in times of geopolitical crisis, were discussed.
Bilal Erdoğan, who met with Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim within the scope of the visit, exchanged ideas on strengthening the friendly ties between Türkiye and Malaysia.
The talks focused on issues such as not only maintaining the political and commercial dimension of relations between the two countries, but also developing common thought platforms in the field of education and increasing academic collaborations.
MALAYSIA-Türkiye EDUCATION FORUM
Bilal Erdoğan, who attended the Malaysia-Türkiye Education Forum and made important statements, defined the position of the two countries in the global system as a “resistance partnership”.
Drawing attention to the effect of modernization that separates people from their roots, Bilal Erdoğan said, “Turkey and Malaysia are two great resistance partners struggling to survive by preserving their own identity in an age when global winds blow hard. We are the name of two determined stances that put their roots deeper into the soil of civilization and say ‘We are here too’ with their own local and national means.” he said.
Stating that this determination has been proven by concrete steps taken in the academic, bureaucratic, commercial and defense industry fields, Bilal Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the mutual inclusion of Turkish and Malaysian young people in educational networks.
In his meeting with Malaysian students, Bilal Erdoğan touched upon Türkiye’s technological breakthrough in the defense industry and reminded the balance between technical power and moral values.
Emphasizing that technological development alone is not enough, Erdoğan said, “We have good machines, but we must understand very well the fine line between ‘good technique’ and ‘virtuous person’. Today, Israel’s possession of very good weapons does not make them virtuous, on the contrary, it makes them guilty of genocide. Raising virtuous people is as vital as having good techniques.” he said.
The visit ended with the determination to shape the educational vision between the two countries in the light of civilizational values.

Minister Mahinur Göktaş is in Belgium: We will continue to stand by European Turks
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, in his statement in Belgium, emphasized that the bond established with citizens at home and abroad is a strength, and said that he is a part of this bond and that they will continue to meet with citizens. Minister Göktaş, in his speech at the “Common Heritage Meetings from Anatolia to Europe” program organized by the Union of International Democrats (UID) in Gent, stated that the relations between Turkey and Belgium have developed on the basis of historical friendship and multidimensional cooperation. Pointing out that one of the strongest supporting elements of these ties is the Turkish community in Belgium, Göktaş said that 62 years of experience has turned into a strong representation and success story today.
Göktaş emphasized that the Turkish community, which has reached four generations in Belgium, plays an active role in a wide range of areas, from economic life to politics, from education to civil society, and stated that thousands of entrepreneurs both add value to the country they live in and act as a bridge between Türkiye and Europe.
Underlining that the success of young people in education is critical for the future of society, Göktaş drew attention to the importance of preserving the balance of identity, language and belonging. Minister Göktaş emphasized that they act with an understanding that puts the family at the center of social policies. Reminding that services for citizens living abroad have been expanded with digital opportunities and that access to public services has been facilitated thanks to e-consulate and e-Government applications, Göktaş stated that steps to strengthen the democratic participation of citizens abroad are continuing. Pointing out that Türkiye’s citizen-oriented approach is not limited to borders, Göktaş said that they act with the understanding that “No matter where our citizens are, they should feel the support of the Republic of Turkey.” Göktaş underlined that the Turkish community in Belgium is not just a diaspora, but a strong structure that carries Türkiye’s values and knowledge to Europe.
Touching on the evaluations made in recent days in his speech, Göktaş continued his words as follows:
“What can’t you take away from this society, our expatriates, these patriotic people, who were separated from the heart of Anatolia 62 years ago? Why does it bother you so much that they are devoted to their homeland and nation? As the grandson of an expatriate family, he ran a market here, worked in a market, worked as a tradesman, also studied here, completed his education, founded the first Turkish student association in Belgium and became Europe’s first headscarf deputy, and was in the municipal council for two terms.” They are asking someone who was a Member of Parliament for two terms and then served as an ambassador representing our country in Algeria, with the appreciation of our President (Recep Tayyip Erdoğan).
Our esteemed President has always looked after his citizens. I know very well what the people who carry out these polemics are worried about. They are disturbed, they are disturbed by our citizens’ support for our President. We know your problem. They are disturbed by the success story of our expatriate brothers living abroad. A story is being written here, brothers. Come and see it with your own eyes, maybe you will be ashamed. “I still invite you to meet with our citizens here.”
Göktaş stated that the social policies that Türkiye has implemented in recent years directly contribute to the lives of citizens, and noted that practices that strengthen the family are continued with determination.
Pointing to the “Strong Türkiye, Strong Diaspora” vision put forward by President Erdoğan, Göktaş said that they are proud of the success of the Turkish diaspora in different fields.
Emphasizing that Türkiye will continue its contact with its citizens both at home and abroad, Göktaş said, “We will continue to stand by our citizens wherever they are, listen to their troubles and provide support.” he said.

It turns out that the good news of the 4 new metro shared by ABB is just perception! Ankara’s metro deadlock
The 60-kilometer metro promise promised by CHP’s Mansur Yavaş before the election did not pass the “animation” stage in the 7th year of his term. In the background of the good news of “4 new lines” served by ABB, it turned out that neither the financing nor the investment program approval of the projects was complete.

PROMISES ARE IN THE VIDEO, RAILS ARE ON PAPER
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) announced that the tender process for 4 new metro lines with a total length of 44 kilometers has started with its latest promotional video. However, the technical data obtained confirmed that most of these lines are still at the “dream” stage. It was understood that the Yavaş administration, which could not add even a single centimeter of metro line to Ankara during the 7 years it was in office, could not concretize the projects even in the financing phase, let alone the tender phase.

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE GOOD NEWS: NO FINANCING, INVESTMENT PROGRAM UNCERTAIN
The 4 new line projects that the municipal government presented to the public by saying “the tender process is starting” indicate a major deadlock when compared to technical and financial realities. It has been revealed that huge projects of approximately 28 kilometers, especially the M5 Kızılay-Dikmen and M6 Çayyolu-Sincan Connection Line, have not even been included in the official investment program of the state yet. The “approved investment program” and “ready financing” criteria, which are the most basic conditions required for a project to be tendered, have not yet been met for these lines.

Although the municipality stated that its search for resources continues, the fact that there is not a single external loan currently provided weakens the possibility of the projects being implemented in the near future. On the other hand, only 2026 is indicated for the M2 Koru-Yaşamkent-Bağlıca extension, which is the only line included in the investment program. However, the fact that there is a “foreign loan” requirement for this line and the fact that a concrete financing approval has not yet been received proves that the good news given cannot go beyond a “declaration of intent” to console the people of the Capital. In short; There is neither a budget nor a legal basis for approval behind the magnificent subway videos presented to the people of Ankara.

TECHNICAL APPROVAL DOES NOT MEAN “TENDERING STARTS”
The fact that its slow management presents the “technical approvals” of the Ministry of Transport, which every municipality routinely receives, as a finalized investment is interpreted as “perception management”. Experts say technical approval is only a preliminary stage; It reminds us that it is not legally and financially possible to tender projects that do not have financing and are not included in the investment program.
SILENCE PREVAILS ON THE DİKİMEVİ-NATOYOLU LINE
The situation is no different for the 7.43 kilometer Dikimevi-Natoyolu line, the foundations of which were laid with large advertising campaigns. Despite the passage of time, no concrete progress has been made in the project, which had a loan 3 years ago and whose tender was completed last year. The fact that the project, which was presented with the promise of “transportation to the east of Ankara”, is at a standstill increases criticism of the municipality’s enforcement capacity.

THERE IS ANIMATION FOR 7 YEARS, NO METRO
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş’s metro report card is heavy not only with lines that could not be built, but also with promises that were not kept. Yavaş, who gave good news to the people of the capital by saying “I will complete the Mamak metro during my term of office” before the 2019 elections, promised that the project would be accelerated at the parliamentary meeting in 2020, but no concrete progress had been made on the Dikimevi-Natoyolu line in the past 7 years.
Not only the underground lines, but also the monorail systems promised for university campuses such as METU, Bilkent and Hacettepe, and the light rail system projects promised to non-metro areas were virtually shelved. What remains from the 60 kilometer huge set of promises; While stations with leaking ceilings, escalators that cannot be repaired for months and trains that frequently break down remain, Ankara residents now expect to see real work on the rails instead of animation videos.
Mansur Yavaş, who took office with the promise of 60 kilometers, failed in the rail system moves that would move the capital’s transportation forward in the past 7 years. While the people of Ankara are entertained with animation videos and “we are looking for a loan” statements that are renewed every year, the city’s traffic problem continues to become chronic day by day.

BREAKING NEWS… MHP Ordinary Congress will be held on March 7, 2027!
BREAKING NEWS… MHP Ordinary Congress will be held on March 7, 2027.
In his written statement, MHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın stated that MHP has been continuing the historical mission it has undertaken since its birth into Turkish political life in February 1969 for 57 years. Yalçın said, “Since that period, in the sacred political struggle for the unity and integrity of our nation and the survival of our state, MHP has sometimes served as a pole star and sometimes as a compass of direction. In its political march of more than 57 years, MHP has been tested with betrayals, discord and discord. It has been subjected to divisions, ruptures, dissociations. It has been exposed to smear campaigns, reputation assassinations and tricks. “They tried to prevent him from his path by intrigues. Despite this, he continued on his way without losing his character as the main body of the Turkish nationalism cause and the main center of the Nationalist-Idealist Movement,” he said.
Noting that while MHP always maintained its distinguished place in Turkish political life, the branches that broke away from its trunk dried up one by one over time, Yalçın said, “The main body that forms MHP has continued to grow by giving new shoots and take root in all parts of the country without losing its original and natural characteristics. Those who are unfaithful, abandoning themselves to the arms of seductive human interests and adventures and getting lost in the lightness of seductive worldly desires, have become different. Whenever MHP has gone through difficult times.” “Even if it passes, the staff consisting of idealists with a high sense of belonging and commitment have protected the cause and our corporate identity,” he said.
‘REGULATIONS WILL BE MADE WHEN THE CONDITIONS ARE MATURE’
Yalçın stated that the ‘Terror-Free Turkey’ move, which was put forward by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and became a state policy with the support of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, served as a litmus test for political parties. Noting that the nation supports the ‘Terror-free Turkey’ process, Yalçın said, “Our nation deserves a world without terrorism. Our country deserves social peace and tranquility. On the other hand, ‘Terror-free Turkey’ has been a door of opportunity for some in the political scene and a cause for anxiety and concern for others. Now is the time for those who want to use this opportunity in favor of social peace to be active. Dem; Those who promised to become a Turkish party and integrate into legitimate politics, to fulfill their promises.” “It is ‘Dem’. It is time to fully fulfill the requirements of the disbanding of the separatist terrorist organization, laying down its weapons and surrendering to the safe hands of the state. ‘Terror-free Turkey’ is also a test of sincerity and good will. When the conditions are ripe, the Turkish Grand National Assembly will step in and the necessary arrangements will be made. Meanwhile, our eyes are on the fake heroes who become fish out of water when the ‘Terror-free Turkey’ option is activated and the weapon of propaganda and exploitation is taken away.”
‘CONGRESS CALENDAR HAS BEEN DETERMINED’
Pointing to the decisions taken at the Central Executive Board (MYK) held on April 27, 2026, Yalçın said, “A new calendar has been determined within the scope of MHP’s organizational activities. Accordingly, in the context of MHP’s future ordinary grand congress preparations, it has been decided to start the district and provincial congresses on May 7, 2026. In addition, after the congress process is completed, MHP’s 15th Ordinary Congress will be held on March 7 next year.” “It has been deemed appropriate to hold it on Sunday, 2027. On this occasion, we wholeheartedly congratulate our esteemed laborers and workers on May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day,” he said.
