Minister Kacır: We are leaving the stage of history much more assertively

“NUMBER OF OIZS IS RISING”

Sharing the figures on industrial investments in the last 23 years, Minister Kacır said, “During our government, we increased the number of organized industrial zones from 191 to 373 throughout Turkey. We increased the number of factories in production in OIZs from 11 thousand to 61 thousand. We increased the number of employees from 415 thousand to 2 million 700 thousand. Thus, we implemented the development with an understanding that will cover all four corners of Anatolia.”

Minister Kacır: We are leaving the stage of history much more assertively

“THE CENTER OF HALAL PROFIT AND PRODUCTION”

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin stated that they laid the foundations of important investments and inaugurated the completed projects together with Minister Kacır and said, “This was the top of the mountain before the AK Party, but now it has become the main center of halal earnings, sweat and wisdom. This is a team work. Under the coordination of our governor, we have a very important unity with all our mayors. We say ‘There is mercy in unity, strength comes from unity’.”

Minister Kacır: We are leaving the stage of history much more assertively

“A GIANT PRODUCTION CENTER WAS BORN FROM A MOUNTAIN”

President Şahin continued his speech by drawing attention to the importance of the Gaziantep Model and said, “We did a study together with the university. There was a mountain in this region. A production center emerged from a mountain. Shoemakers are stuck. Transporters are stuck, they cannot breathe. There are fourteen business branches here, especially truck trailer manufacturers. Each of them is stuck within itself. The most problematic situation is the high rental prices. Both shop rents and house prices. That’s why we have to build too many houses, too many shops.” “We had to cluster together and reduce the number of people coming from the city. Be the city of those who have a stone in their hearts, be the city of Gulistan for those who have love in their hearts. We will achieve this together,” he said.

Mustafa Yağmurlu, President of the Truck Buying and Selling Collective Workplace Cooperative, thanked President Fatma Şahin and stated that the fact that the businesses will operate in a modern and planned industrial area is an important gain for the sector.

After the speeches, protocol members handed over the keys and pressed the button for the groundbreaking ceremony.
