GÖKBEY helicopter was delivered to the Land Forces Command
Presidential Defense Industries (SSB) President Haluk Görgün, Land Forces Commander General Metin Tokel and TAI General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu attended the delivery ceremony held at the Kahramankazan campus of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).
In his speech at the ceremony, Görgün stated that GÖKBEY’s design, production, testing and certification of almost all its main and subsystems were carried out with national resources, and that with this delivery, they did not just hold a ceremony, but also witnessed the level reached by the national aviation industry.
Explaining that the second delivery ceremony was held at TAI this month, Görgün reminded that T129 ATAK, T70 helicopters and AKSUNGUR UAV were previously delivered to the General Directorate of Security.
“A TOTAL OF 83 HELICOPTERS WILL BE OFFERED TO THE SERVICE OF INSTITUTIONS”
Emphasizing that the steps taken with the National Technology Move are followed with envy in the international arena, Görgün said:
“In the coming years, we will deliver 15 GÖKBEYs to our Land Forces Command and 42 more to our Ministry of Internal Affairs. Together with other users, we will offer a total of 83 helicopters to the service of our institutions within the scope of the GÖKBEY Program. GÖKBEY will make significant contributions to the services of our Land Forces Command with its features. With its versatile use, it will further increase the mobility and mission flexibility of our Land Forces.”
Pointing out that GÖKBEY will be used not only in the field of security and defense but also in the civilian field as an air ambulance, Görgün expressed his belief that the helicopter will achieve export success.
Görgün stated that certification activities for the integration of the domestic engine TS1400 into the GÖKBEY platform are continuing, and said, “Our localization rate in GÖKBEY is over 70 percent, and I hope we will increase this rate to over 80 percent with the domestic engine integration.”
“DELIVERY OF THE SECOND HELICOPTER IS IN JUNE”
TAI General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu also stated that GÖKBEY contains firsts for the Turkish defense and aviation industry.
Explaining that this delivery is the first delivery to the Land Forces Aviation Command and includes the first of two helicopters, Demiroğlu said, “We will deliver the second one in June. Our production, training and delivery efforts continue without slowing down. Hopefully, we will make a rapidly increasing number of deliveries to both our Land Forces and other forces this year and in the coming years.”

The money exchange dealer reported the Böcek family’s money traffic
Allegations of bribery and suspicious money traffic against Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his son Gökhan Böcek were reflected in the prosecutor’s office minutes. The money traffic of the Böcek family was recorded from the camera records of the Finike Foreign Exchange office.

HE REPORTED TO MASAK
The 8 GB footage, which was first deleted and then recovered after a trustee was appointed to the foreign exchange office within the scope of the investigation, shows Gökhan Böcek, his ex-wife Zeynep Kerimoğlu and his wife Zuhal Böcek’s relative Olcay Matav, and two businessmen from whom Böcek took bribes, receiving the bribe money sent through the bank in foreign currency. It was learned that in two separate transactions on 30/10/2024 and 26/12/2024, the money sent by Mete Yapal and Bülent Çeken was converted into foreign currency and delivered to Gökhan Böcek and his companions, and was subsequently reported to MASAK as a “Suspicious Transaction” by the foreign exchange office.

In his statement taken within the scope of the investigation, businessman Ali Yılmaz, one of the partners of the foreign exchange office, said that Gökhan Böcek, whom he had known since his student years, asked him for a loan from time to time, but he was a person who did not pay his debt. Yılmaz said, “Rumors about Muhittin Böcek giving money to CHP and becoming a candidate during the candidacy process in both terms were constantly talked about in Antalya.”

Massive operation against illegal betting network
A detention order was issued for 38 more people in the third wave operation of the investigation against Malta-based crypto asset service provider Paymix, which was found to provide financial infrastructure to illegal betting organizations. During the operation, in which 30 suspects were previously detained, it was determined that the suspects laundered the income obtained from illegal betting through various methods, kept records of approximately 13.8 million users, and used approximately 67 thousand 500 bank accounts to deposit and withdraw illegal money.

GIANT DATA NETWORK HAS BEEN REACHED
It was determined that the proceeds of crime were laundered through shell companies, multi-layered transfer chains and crypto asset transactions, and a monthly transaction volume of approximately 1 billion dollars was generated through the structure. In the first wave of operations, many real estate, vehicles, bank and crypto asset accounts were seized, and TMSF was appointed as trustee to 3 companies. In the investigations of the companies to which trustees were appointed, it was determined that infrastructure and hosting services were provided to 49 illegal betting sites. While the servers within the company were disabled, the activities of many illegal betting sites were stopped. In addition, approximately 13 million 800 thousand illegal betting user/player records were reached, and approximately 67 thousand 500 bank accounts used for depositing and withdrawing money to illegal betting sites were detected. It is considered that accessing such a large data network for the first time will be effective in unraveling the financial and organizational network related to illegal betting activities in the future. Jewelers, who were found to have converted the proceeds of illegal betting into crypto money and then into cash or gold, and who were found to have mediated these transactions in return for a commission, were also added to the investigation. It was understood that e-commerce sites were opened through companies established abroad in order to launder illegal income, and money was laundered through fake commercial transactions carried out on these platforms with cryptocurrencies.
ASSETS WERE SEIZED
It was determined that one of the suspects, for whom detention orders were issued yesterday morning, was in prison, 15 were abroad and 22 were in the country. While the red notice process was initiated for suspects abroad, 26 vehicles, 18 residences, 18 fields/gardens, 3 workplaces and 535 bank and cryptocurrency accounts belonging to all suspects were seized.

5 IMPORTANT MESSAGES FROM FİDAN
1 It is essential to strengthen the understanding of regional ownership in order to establish permanent security and stability in the region.
2 Türkiye makes a constructive contribution to ensure that the ongoing contacts and negotiations between the USA and Iran result in permanent peace.
3 It is necessary to prevent the developments in the Strait of Hormuz from causing new tensions and provocations.
4 It is important that the Benjamin Netanyahu government’s two-state solution vision is defended resolutely in the face of ongoing ceasefire violations in Gaza and unlawful actions in the West Bank.
5 The international community should take a more deterrent stance against Israel’s occupation in Lebanon.

Terror-free Türkiye message from Bahçeli: It is now obligatory to end terrorism
Speaking at his party’s Grand National Assembly Group Meeting, Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahçeli devoted most of his speech to the terror-free Türkiye process. Answering the question about the ‘absolute nullity case’ against CHP at the end of the meeting, Bahçeli said, “CHP is an important political institution that has existed since the day the republic was founded. We hope that this institution will not be allowed to be confused, fragmented, damaged legally or used for other purposes. Therefore, CHP should choose to meet the nation instead of continuing on its path without discrimination, harsh criticism and belittling those who are together. CHP should assume its historical responsibility.” used. Bahçeli said the following at the meeting:
WE HAVE TAKEN THIS PATH
In Türkiye, where terrorism has been eliminated, security has been permanently ensured, and cities and rural areas have attained a climate of peace, one of the biggest obstacles to development will disappear.
We set out on this blessed path for peace. Türkiye without terrorism is not a negotiation with a terrorist organization. No one can bring MHP’s name together with terrorism. Türkiye without terrorism, the Turkish nation being saved from the bloody disaster.
It has now become obligatory to end terrorism. It is a matter of dignity to get rid of the terrorism that ambushes our will for development, reduces our bread, and lays mines in front of investments and exports. The huge resources that had to be allocated to the fight against terrorism over the years are now available to our children through schools; We should turn it into a hospital and care service for our elderly. The fear in the mountains should not be on our tables. When terrorism-free Türkiye and Diyarbakir are mentioned, it is not the cries of mothers keeping watch for their children; The center of cultural tourism and gastronomy will come to mind.

DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK
Next are political and legal regulations. Necessary legislative activities will gain momentum in our Gazi Parliament. The proposals will be evaluated, article suggestions will be received from each party, and the framework of the legalization process will be created by the will of the nation. This historical obligation should not be turned away in the rush of daily political gains and petty calculations.
PEACE PROCESS AND POLITICISM COORDINATORSHIP PROPOSAL
It is also important to discuss the status issue of Abdullah Öcalan. It is not possible for the process to function properly by acting as if this issue does not exist. If we want the process to be carried out and if we hope our call to be binding, this must be clearly evaluated within legal, political and conscientious measures in this process that follows the dissolution of the organization with all its elements and the surrender of its weapons. If there is a status gap for Abdullah Öcalan, this gap should be handled in favor of the Republic of Türkiye and in a way that will serve the success of the Terror-Free Türkiye goal. To put an end to these discussions, I suggest that it be called “Peace Process and Politicization Coordination”. Our wish is that the founding leadership of the PKK will serve under a certain definition.
‘DON’T BE AFRAID BECAUSE THEY ARE MANY, DON’T BE AFRAID BECAUSE THEY ARE SMALL’
A hood-cut labradorite stone that changes color depending on the light was used in the ring and badge worn by Bahçeli. The phrase “Many small communities have prevailed over large crowds with the permission of Allah” in the 249th verse of the Surah Al-Baqara and the phrase “Do not be afraid because they are many, do not be afraid because they are few” in the 9th line of the west side of the Tonyukuk inscription were engraved in modern Turkish. The expression of the Tonyukuk Inscription was designed using the Gokturk alphabet.
DON’T BE INVOLVED IN NAPOLIONISM
Cyprus is the security depth of Türkiye, maritime jurisdictions in the Eastern Mediterranean, the right of existence of the Turkish Cypriots and the strategic memory of the Turkish nation. Macron’s enthusiasm for Napoleonism, which goes beyond his political scale, will not benefit the centuries-old relations between the Turkish and French nations, which are friends and often even allies.
EARTHQUAKE POTENTIAL
The US/Israel-Iran tension that occupies our agenda is not just a military or diplomatic conflict between three countries. This tension carries the potential for a major earthquake that could affect a wide range of areas, from Türkiye’s border security to energy costs, from agricultural production to industrial inputs, from logistics lines to foreign trade balances.

National plan for cybersecurity
The Cyber Security Board held its first meeting at the Social Complex under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The current stage of the National Cyber Security Strategy and Action Plan covering the years 2024-2028 was discussed at the meeting. In the written statement made after the meeting, it was stated that “At the meeting, it was strongly emphasized that cyber security is an integral part of national security, and the determination to strengthen the digital sovereignty approach was confirmed. Increasing cyber resilience and deterrence capacity against current and potential threats was among the priority targets. In the coming period, an agreement was reached to implement concrete practices in line with the determined priorities.” One of the most critical topics that came to the fore at the summit, where 16 critical sectors were determined, was “data sovereignty”.

While it was stated that Türkiye’s strategic data should be protected and processed domestically, the goal of reducing dependence on foreign systems was clearly stated. It was stated that the digital independence process will be accelerated with isolated networks such as KamuNet, domestic software inventory and national artificial intelligence solutions. The “Artificial Intelligence Shield” strategy developed by the Presidential Communications Directorate was also brought to the agenda at the meeting. This system aims to increase the data security of public institutions, prevent disinformation and establish a strong line of defense against international manipulations. It was also stated that Türkiye’s digital independence will be strengthened with projects such as domestic artificial intelligence chips, national software and isolated network systems. It was stated that data sovereignty is not a technical issue, but a matter of complete independence, and it was emphasized that “Türkiye’s data will remain in Türkiye.”
