Harsh reaction from AK Party member Veysel Tipioğlu to criticism of the defense industry: This sky is no longer abandoned

Published

on

Speaking at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, AK Party Kocaeli Deputy and Chairman of the Security and Intelligence Commission Veysel Tipioğlu reacted harshly to the discussions on Türkiye’s defense industry investments and airspace security. Tipioğlu stated that Türkiye is no longer a power that outsources its defense to others, but builds its own “Steel Dome”.

“A Fragmented Perspective Does Not Reflect the Truth”

Saying that the comments made about the air defense capacity are “far from a holistic view”, Tipioğlu stated that Türkiye’s security has an architecture that is too complex and powerful to be indexed to a single system or a single missile. Tipioğlu said, “We have established a complete security umbrella at low, medium and high altitudes, from early warning radars to command and control centers.”

“Sky Homeland belongs to Turkey”

Touching on the importance of the SİPER, HİSAR and KORKUT systems developed with local and national resources, Tipioğlu reminded that the defense industry is not a choice, but a national obligation. Emphasizing President Erdoğan’s determination, Tipioğlu said, “This sky is no longer abandoned. The Sky Homeland is now in full security.”

EMPHASIS ON Türkiye CENTURY

Tipioğlu continued his words as follows:

Türkiye is no longer discussing its defense; It is a country that establishes and strengthens its defense. This sky is no longer ownerless, this sky belongs to Turkey. This sky is now under Türkiye’s control.

Turkey Century; It means strong leadership, strong defense and strong Türkiye.

In his speech, Tipioğlu thanked the engineers and workers who contributed to the defense industry, commemorated the personnel who were martyred in the terrorist attack against TAI, and gave the message that Türkiye will never step back from defense projects.

New transportation base for the capital – Breaking News

Published

on

After extensive renovation works, Etimesgut Military Airport opens its doors to national and international flights today under the name “Ankara Airport”. At the historic opening ceremony, which will be held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Presidential plane taking off from Istanbul will be the first plane to land in the new square. Ankara Airport, which will serve as the new air transportation center of the capital, will play a strategic role in terms of diplomatic missions as well as civil aviation.

FIRST EXAM NATO SUMMIT

The first test of Ankara Airport, which will serve under the code “ANK”, will be the NATO Summit. Heads of state and government who will come to Türkiye as part of the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8 will be welcomed at this airport for the first time. The airport, which is preparing to become one of the new centers of global diplomacy, will reveal Türkiye’s hosting capacity and organizational power during the summit. Ankara Airport, which has been transformed into a modern aviation center where wide-body aircraft can land and take off, will strengthen the capital’s position in the international transportation network.

A BRIDGE THAT WEIGHTS THE EIFFEL TOWER

The 140-meter Capital Aviation Bridge, built within the scope of the Ankara Airport Connection Roads Project, was one of the most striking engineering works of the project. On the bridge, which was built on the High Speed Train line and whose weight is almost equivalent to the Eiffel Tower, the deck, which weighs approximately 10 thousand tons, was placed in place by the push-slide method with hydraulic jacks with a capacity of 800 tons.

44 PLANES CAN BE PARKED TOGETHER

The runway, which was previously 2 thousand 450 meters long and 42 meters wide, was increased to 3 thousand meters long and 60 meters wide with the work carried out. This paved the way for large-bodied passenger aircraft and state aircraft to land and take off safely. With the newly built apron area, the airport’s capacity has been significantly increased. Ankara Airport will now be able to provide parking services for 44 aircraft at the same time. Within the scope of the project, the State Guesthouse with a closed area of 4,800 square meters for diplomatic contacts and official receptions and an open car park with a capacity of 310 vehicles were built. In addition, a 12.5-kilometer connection road that will provide direct transportation between Ankara Airport and Ay Yıldız Campus has been completed.

Call from Director of Communications Duran to fight disinformation: We need to say ‘stop’ together

Published

on

Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran, in his post on his social media account, emphasized that we are in a period where content spreads very quickly and that this speed brings with it a great danger.

“LET’S RAISE THE VOICE OF TRUTH TOGETHER”

Stating that this danger is ‘disinformation’, Duran said:

“Let’s not forget that not every claim we come across is true, not every post is real. Our strongest shield against this danger, especially in the digital world, is our individual awareness and habit of questioning. In our fight for truth, we need to defend our cyber homeland together and say ‘stop’ to disinformation. I invite you to carefully watch and spread this public service announcement that we have prepared to raise awareness against disinformation. Let’s raise the voice of truth together.”

Duran’s post also included a public service announcement prepared to raise awareness against disinformation.

“BELIEVE IN TRUTH, NOT INTERACTION”

The following statements were included in the public service announcement:

“The content produced behind a screen crosses borders in seconds. A share and a lie that replaces the truth grows, spreads, and suddenly everyone talks about it. But not everything seen is the truth, not everything shared is the truth. Remember, disinformation becomes stronger if you believe it. Stop, think, question. Do not share without checking the source. Because the truth is not in the interaction, but in the truth. Believe in the truth, not in the interaction. Say ‘stop’ to disinformation.”
