MHP leader Bahçeli: The horizons of Ankara and Tehran look in the same direction
MHP leader Bahçeli shared a post on his social media account on the occasion of Kadir Night.
“WE EXPERIENCE ITS SPIRITUAL BEAUTY EVEN IF IT IS BURUK”
On the one hand, we are approaching the end of Ramadan, the sultan of eleven months, and on the other hand, we are experiencing the spiritual beauty, albeit bittersweet, of being honored with the Night of Power, which is heralded in the Holy Quran as being better than a thousand months. We are saddened because, unfortunately, the peace and tranquility of the month of Ramadan has been violated on all fronts, and the ongoing wars and conflicts with high levels of violence have severely battered and injured the Islamic world. Unfortunately, the deep cracks in the spirit of unity, peace and solidarity, which we pray and desire to manifest in a way that is compatible with our standards of faith and belief, and many problems arising from this, have gradually become mediocre. While it is possible to comprehend a month of Ramadan surrounded by awe and peace; Missiles flying, innocent people being targeted, strategic infrastructures exposed to destruction, geopolitical tensions constantly raising the bar, and the heritage of civilization being damaged from all sides have taken hostage our religious brothers in particular and the sovereign rights of Islamic countries in general.
“MUST NEVER FORGET”
In our Kadir Gecesi, where we believe that well-being will exist until dawn, it is necessary to question why suffering, genocide and wars are nestled in the Islamic geography, accompanied by a sincere and honest conscience, and to activate a moral and consistent self-criticism mechanism. It should be important to never forget that as long as we are disorganized internally and as long as the seeds of discord grow among us, all kinds of aggressive interventions will be made from outside.
“ANKARA AND TEHRAN ARE LOOKING IN THE SAME DIRECTION”
The fact that the war and murder machine of Zionist-imperialist origin constantly sheds Muslim blood, as well as transforming the Islamic geography into an arena of war and conflict, is a cruel and devastating vicious circle, as well as an example of intolerable one-sided cruelty. At this stage we have reached, it is very clear that if we do not or cannot protect our freedom of belief and our historical rights derived from being human, our existence and vital interests will be gradually violated. The horizons of Ankara and Tehran face the same direction. The fate of Ankara, Baghdad and Damascus, Jerusalem and Gaza are united by the same common denominator. The sadness of Masjid al-Aqsa, our first qibla, which has been closed for fifteen days, is the heartache of all of us, of everyone who says they are Muslims. This oppression must definitely end. My wish is to gather together with the completion of the consciousness of brotherhood, without falling into the dark corridors of Zionist-imperialist conspiracies, and to disperse the nightmare clouds that block our vision with the dignity and dignity of our faith. In today’s Night of Power, where I hope to fully fulfill its dignity and value, it is a historical responsibility to turn to ourselves and identify with a clear conscience where mistakes were made, where deficits were made, where weaknesses and weaknesses are evident, and to take appropriate measures. I congratulate the holy Night of Power of the beloved Turkish nation, the Turkish-Islamic world, and all our dear citizens living at home and abroad, and I sincerely hope to meet in the crucible of our prayers and common goals. I wish you a blessed Night of Power. I pray that God Almighty will help the Turkish nation and our brothers who struggle for an honorable life in our heart and cultural geographies.

Sharing from Director of Communications Duran regarding the May 27 coup: Law and politics are under heavy pressure
Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran, in his post on his NSosyal account, stated that the May 27, 1960 coup took place in Turkish political history as a dark intervention against the will of the nation and added:
“The execution of the late Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fatin Rüştü Zorlu and Minister of Finance Hasan Polatkan left deep scars in the memory and hearts of our nation. In this process, democracy was suspended and law and politics remained under heavy pressure. Today, Turkey, under the leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, strongly demonstrates that there can be no power above the national will. As we move towards a stronger and more democratic future with the vision of the Turkey Century, we do all kinds of actions towards the will of the nation.” “With these feelings, I remember the late Prime Minister Menderes, Mr. Zorlu and Mr. Polatkan with mercy and prayers, and I condemn any coup.”

BREAKING NEWS | Devlet Bahçeli’s departure to CHP on September 9
Breaking news: MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made important statements to Türkgün about the chaos and fights in CHP.

Highlights from Bahçeli’s speech;
“Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is the Chairman of the CHP. In the next period, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will normally fulfill the requirements of the court decision to become the chairman. In this context, he will first settle in the Headquarters, carry out the repair and recovery, and eliminate the mess. At the same time, party activities will continue. In this way, it will be possible to rebuild a political party and bring it to democracy, not its collapse.”

9 SEPTEMBER PROPOSAL TO CHP FOR CONGRESS
Kılıçdaroğlu: “CHP must protect its moral values.” Recalling his statement, Bahçeli said, “This determination is also an admission that the CHP has moved away from its founding principles. Therefore, first of all, the Party will need to be controlled financially, legally and administratively, and the reasons that separate the CHP from its founding codes will need to be determined.” he said.
Bahçeli also suggested renewing the current members and holding the congress with a renewed membership structure. He suggested September 9, the founding date of the CHP, as the date of the congress.
Stating that the addressee of the congress call was Kılıçdaroğlu, Bahçeli emphasized that the result should be “respected”:
“After the district and provincial congresses are held, the grand congress will be held on a date deemed appropriate. In our opinion, this date may be September 9, which is also the founding date of the party. It is Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu who will fulfill these. In this way, a cleaned and purified CHP will be established until the grand congress, and Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu will fulfill a historical responsibility by providing a great service to the Republican People’s Party. He will also be able to show his sacrifice by expressing that he will respect whoever wins the congress.”

REACTION TO STREET PROTESTS
Warning to the Özgür Özel team, Bahçeli asked for the street protests to end:
“We are concerned that the transformation of the absolute bankruptcy crisis into intra-party conflict and street protests in the Republican People’s Party, which has a deep-rooted party institutionality in Türkiye, will create a wounded memory not only in the CHP but also in Turkish democracy and political culture.”

NEW PARTY CLAIMS: CHP SHOULD NOT BE DIVIDED
While the possibility of a new party is among the options, Bahçeli emphasized that the CHP should not be divided:
“Our expectation is not a divided CHP; it is a CHP that is united, free from its burdens, and serves Turkey and the Turkish nation. Wearing the institutional identity of the party, polarizing the base and destroying the organizational structure for the sake of struggles for temporary office will result in a heavy responsibility before history.”
