President Erdoğan received Mitsotakis: We talked about the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean

“WE SHOULD KEEP DIALOGUE CHANNELS OPEN”

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye and Greece, two NATO allies, are facing many developments that pose a threat to security and stability.

Emphasizing that they think that it is in their common interest for Türkiye to take part in the defense initiatives recently launched in Europe, Erdoğan continued his words as follows:

“We also discussed regional developments, including the ceasefire process in Gaza and the peace plan, with the esteemed Prime Minister. We reject the latest decisions taken by Israel to expand its control in the West Bank and weaken the Palestinian administration. The stance of the world’s leading countries, ours and our brother countries, on this issue is obvious. I would like to take this opportunity to particularly emphasize that permanent peace and stability in the Middle East depends on finding a fair solution to the Palestinian issue on the basis of two states. We will continue to defend this stance. 2025-2026 We believe that Greece, which was a Non-Permanent Member of the United Nations Security Council during the period, will keep the two-state solution perspective on the agenda of the Council for the benefit of our region. Likewise, we touched upon what can be done to establish stability in Syria and to quickly reach a position that contributes to peace in the region. It is obvious that the constructive role we undertake in this regard is important not only for Syria itself, but also for the security of Greece and Europe. We hope that all components of the country will move towards the future with an inclusive understanding, based on the principle of territorial integrity and unity of Syria. “I wholeheartedly believe that, as neighbors and allies, we must keep the channels of dialogue open with an understanding based on cooperation.”

COOPERATION MESSAGE FROM MITOTAKIST: “WE ARE ALWAYS IN FAVOR OF DIALOGUE”

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis used the following statements in his speech:

“There are various difficult issues and problems in our region. There are also some issues on which we cannot agree or agree. There are some issues, such as the continental shelf issue in the Aegean, the Exclusive Economic Zone issue. It may be necessary to apply to an international judicial body regarding these issues. There can be a solution to this within the framework of international law. I hope, Mr. President, and I share your optimism on this issue. The conditions are suitable for making progress on these issues. I believe that it is now time for all threats to our relations to be eliminated.

We want to see the war in Ukraine coming later. We agree on the start of the second peace talks in Gaza. Greece consistently supports the two-state solution and supports the Palestinian side’s absolute inclusion in the new administration to be formed. We do not support any possible steps regarding the annexation of Gaza by Israel. The expansion of Jewish settlements here is a factor that makes the formation of a Palestinian state in the region even more difficult.

We had the opportunity to make a detailed accounting of our bilateral relations. We made a strategic choice in 2023. We would develop contacts between the two countries on three main elements; political dialogue, positive agenda and confidence-building measures. We held extremely important meetings within the framework of this cooperation. We had the opportunity to discuss the issues between us through the open dialogue channels. We aimed to establish a workable relationship between the country’s foreign ministries that would benefit both parties. We have to handle the problems and issues between us calmly. We must discuss these issues sincerely among ourselves. We may even disagree on some issues. We are always in favor of dialogue. We will continue our cooperation in good faith and mutual respect. Our efforts have already begun to bear fruit. A positive agenda meeting was held in Athens. Really important results emerged here. In our meeting today, we agreed on many issues with the participation of various ministers of the two countries. “We signed various agreements.”

Entertech Maslak Go and Startgate TEKMER were opened with a ceremony

Published

Entertech Maslak Go and Startgate TEKMER were opened in Maslak. Speaking after the promotional film, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that national technology workshops will be established in 100 universities of Türkiye as of this year and said, “Turkey has come a long way in its technology development journey in the last 23 years. When we look back 23 years ago, we know that there was a period when concepts such as research, development and innovation were not on the agenda in our private sector. But now the Turkish private sector has become the pioneer of research and development in Türkiye. Türkiye’s total R&D expenditures are over 1.2 billion dollars.” “While it increased to 20 billion dollars, the R&D expenditures of the Turkish private sector also reached 14 billion dollars from 350 million dollars. Today, the Turkish private sector is in a position to achieve pioneering success stories in different sectors that are renowned in the world with the success stories it has revealed.”

“95 PERCENT OF THE PRODUCTS EXPORTED BY Türkiye CONSIST OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS”

Minister Kacır said that 95 percent of the products exported by Türkiye consist of industrial products and said, “If we can talk about export success today, there is a higher value-added production success of the industry behind it. 95 percent of the products exported by Türkiye consist of industrial products. The success achieved in all sectors of our industry, from automotive to machinery, from chemistry to food industry, has an enormous share in our ability to increase exports from 36 billion dollars to 274 billion dollars. Therefore, in fact, this is an ecosystem issue, a network.” “Of course, one of the most important elements of this is human resources. In order to make progress in the field of research and development, you must first invest in your human capital. Increasing Türkiye’s R&D human resources from 29 thousand to 311 thousand in 23 years is actually the most fundamental element that motivates and makes this whole success story possible,” he said.

“OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE OUR ENTERPRISE OFFICES INSTALLED IN ALL 81 CITIES THIS YEAR”

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır said, “We increased the number of technoparks from 2 to 114. While only 56 companies were operating in our technoparks 23 years ago, today nearly 8,700 companies are doing research, development and innovation in Türkiye’s technoparks. Today, especially in the gaming industry, which is the main focus of this center, which has brought us together today, a few young people came together and founded it, and 20-30 young people are currently working in it. Technology startups that are still in the early stages of their business life can reach a billion dollar valuation. The more Turcorns we have, the stronger our entire ecosystem will become, with dozens and hundreds of startups to be born from each of them. With this understanding, we have implemented the Turcorn 100 program and are currently trying to grow our 39 technology startups with tailor-made supports to reach a billion dollar valuation. We have also taken steps to ensure that the private sector leads especially TEKMERs in this journey. “TEKMERs have become a complementary element of technoparks and R&D design centers in our enterprise ecosystem. We created the Go Enterprise Office model to standardize the supports and infrastructures we offer to the field of entrepreneurship in Türkiye, and our goal is to have our enterprise offices in all 81 cities this year.”

“WE MADE IT MUCH EASIER FOR CREATIVE IDEAS TO RESIDE AND WORK IN Türkiye AND WE ACHIEVED THE BRAIN DRAIN”

Minister Kacır stated that with the Turkey Tech Visa program, the residence and working processes of technology startups and individuals working in these companies have become much easier in Türkiye, and said, “The venture capital volume, which was 50 million dollars annually between 2011-2015 and 100 million dollars annually between 2016-2020, reached an average of 1.1 billion dollars in the last 5 years between 2021-2025. The annual venture capital investment volume in Türkiye is higher than the previous 5 years.” It has reached 11 times the size of the previous 5 years. We will expand this even further. With this program, we have made the residence and working processes in Türkiye for technology startups and individuals working in these companies much easier, which previously took more than 6 months. With this program, we can offer work and residence permits to the human resources who will work in startups in this ecosystem, including the startups here. “Nearly 5 thousand technology developers have moved to Turkey and they are now continuing their work in Turkey. We believe that attracting qualified human resources will provide significant advantages for Türkiye in this race,” he said.

“WE ARE ESTABLISHING THE WORLD’S LARGEST ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER IN ISTANBUL”

Stating that they established the world’s largest entrepreneurship center in Istanbul, Minister Kacır said, “We are establishing the world’s largest entrepreneurship center in Istanbul. We transformed the terminal buildings of Atatürk Airport into a technopark with the Terminal Istanbul brand. Now the world’s largest startup center, technology entrepreneurship center, is being established in the terminal buildings of Atatürk Airport. Hopefully, we will open the first phase of this in June and bring it to Istanbul. Then, at the end of the first year, we will open another large phase and within 2 years Atatürk Airport will open the largest entrepreneurship center in the world. Hopefully, we will have provided the entire airport terminal buildings to you, the technology entrepreneurs. I believe that this will again be an important step that will strengthen the interest in Turkish technology initiatives at the global level. In order to attract our young people to this journey from an early age, we will organize the world’s largest technology festivals, TEKNOFEST, and on the other hand, we will organize infrastructures such as Deneyap Technology Workshops all over Türkiye, attracting young people from the age of 11, who are interested in this field and have competence in this field, from city to city. “We will try to identify them town by town, village by village, include them in technology education programs and walk with them on this journey,” he said.

“WE ARE SECOND IN EUROPE IN TERMS OF THE NUMBER OF GAMING INITIATIVES”

Stating that they are in the second place in Europe in terms of the number of game enterprises, Minister Kacır said, “We strongly support the game sectors along with our other sectors. Our duty is to ensure that cluster infrastructures such as the StartGate single center here can provide services to game entrepreneurs in Türkiye and to allow the increase of financial resources in this field. As the Ministry, we will continue to take these steps. By supporting the cluster project and making this address the center of the cluster, the game cluster, we have actually demonstrated this approach. Hopefully, game initiatives will continue to increase in the coming period.” “We will achieve further growth in Türkiye, we are currently in the second place in Europe in terms of the number of game initiatives. Hopefully, together we will succeed in reaching the first place in Europe and increasing the number of Turkish games, which we are proud of with their success stories all over the world,” he said. After the speech, the enterprise center was opened with a gift presentation and a photo shoot. Then, Minister Kacır visited the center and received information from the authorities.

Minister Gürlek received the Turkish Law Institute delegation

Published

on

Emphasizing that they are aware of the problems experienced by lawyers, Gürlek stated that they are working on regulations that will both speed up the trial and provide financial support to lawyers. Stating that steps are continuing to increase the quality of entry into the legal profession, Gürlek said that the quality of the profession has been strengthened by making the exams more difficult and increasing the success ranking. Gürlek also announced that the scope of the e-Hearing application will be expanded and noted that it is planned to introduce the opportunity to participate in preliminary examination hearings online with the 12th Judicial Package.

Minister of Justice Gürlek received the Turkish Law Institute delegation at the Ministry. Underlining that the Turkish Law Institute is an institution with roots, history and traditions, Minister Gürlek said, “Hopefully, we will work together. Your ideas and work plans are important to us. As you know, we have now made a reform strategy and a reform move in the judiciary. We are considering taking some more important steps, especially regarding the problems of the judiciary and accelerating the judiciary.” he said.

“WE WANT TO HELP OUR LAWYERS”

Emphasizing that they know very well the problems that lawyers have been experiencing lately, Minister Gürlek said: “We are the family of justice. We have 209 thousand lawyers, 212 thousand judges, prosecutors and courthouse personnel in this family of justice. We all need to work together here. We know very well the problems that our lawyers have been experiencing lately. With the packages we will organize, we want to both speed up the civil trial and, in a sense, benefit our lawyers financially.” Minister Gürlek stated that the legal profession is a high-quality, qualified and elite profession all over the world.

“QUALITY INCREASED IN THE LAW PROFESSION ENTRANCE EXAM”

Stating that the quality of the entrance exams for the legal profession has increased, Minister Gürlek said, “As you know, the entrance exam for the legal profession has been held. It is a bit difficult. Yes, the thresholds are high, but this definitely requires this profession to become a qualified and elite profession.” he said.

“WE KNOW THE PROBLEMS OF OUR LAWYERS”

Minister Gürlek stated that the success ranking for admission to law faculties was reduced from 125 thousand to 100 thousand, and that they wanted to reduce this number even further. Minister Gürlek emphasized that the legal profession is an elite profession. BREAKING NEWS | Message from MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli to Özgür Özel: There is no by-election, during election time

Breaking news: MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli made a statement at his party’s group meeting. Devlet Bahçeli, reacting to the US/Israeli attacks on Iran and Lebanon, noted that the World Peace Council should be established. Noting that Türkiye is ready to undertake responsibility for peace, Bahçeli also gave important messages regarding the goal of a Terror-Free Türkiye.

BREAKING NEWS | Message from MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli to Özgür Özel: There is no by-election, during election time

Breaking news… MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party’s group meeting. MHP leader Bahçeli said, “The losses of life in the air attack carried out by the Israeli army on Lebanon show that the zionist plans do not intend to leave Lebanese territory.” he said. Bahçeli also responded to Özgür Özel’s midterm election remarks. Bahçeli noted that there will be no by-elections and that the elections will be held on time.

Highlights from Bahçeli’s statements:

Trump’s statement that they accepted a 2-week ceasefire on the condition of opening Hormuz, but his declaration that the war objectives were achieved showed that the crisis was brought to the table. The silence of the guns is an intermediate phase. The guns fell silent temporarily, but the scores were not settled.

LEBANON REACTION TO ISRAEL

Israel violates Lebanon’s territorial integrity. While there is a temporary pause on the Iranian front, the Lebanese front is kept open. The losses of life in the air attack carried out by the Israeli army on Lebanon show that the Zionist groups do not intend to leave Lebanese territory.

BREAKING NEWS | Message from MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli to Özgür Özel: There is no by-election, during election time

“WORLD PEACE COUNCIL SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED”

The inconclusive talks in Islamabad have further strengthened the possibility that the conflicts in the region will evolve into global destruction. Just as uncontrolled and unstoppable power competition and ambition for armament cause bombs to explode in the Middle East today, it will also pave the way for greater destruction in the heart of Europe, the nodal points of Asia and the fragile basins of Africa tomorrow. Shaken by the global epidemic in 2020, humanity has been constantly thrown by the Ukraine-Russia war, the deterioration of trade security in the Red Sea and the Black Sea, the human tragedy in Gaza, the destruction in Lebanon, and the crises that broke out in Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia. In a world where India and Pakistan are facing each other on the Kashmir line, and where the Pakistan-Afghanistan tension has turned the lives of tens of thousands of people upside down in Pakistan today, it is a dangerous mistake to think that the fire will be limited to a single region. In such a period when the possibility of World War II is more pronounced, the immediate implementation of a World Peace Council mechanism, under the leadership of the United Nations Secretary-General Guterres, with the participation of the USA, the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, Turkey and the European Union, is a historical obligation on behalf of humanity.

BREAKING NEWS | Message from MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli to Özgür Özel: There is no by-election, during election time

“Türkiye IS READY TO PUT IT UNDER THE STONE”

It is now inevitable for the manifestation of a new global will based on justice, balance and equity, not the ambivalent understandings that carry the word peace but actually expand the war. Türkiye is ready to take responsibility with the responsibility imposed by its history and the mission determined by its geography. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s maxim “Peace at home, peace in the world” will determine the route of every step we will take today, as it did yesterday, and the direction of all the roads we will walk.
