The winners of a terror-free Türkiye will be 86 million
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements about the issues on the agenda after the cabinet meeting.
Tourism is one of the sectors where the biggest breakthrough has been experienced since 2002. We are in a better place in terms of tourism revenues compared to last year. Our tourism revenues increased to 61.1 billion dollars. With the terrorism-free Türkiye process, regional tourism will also rise. When we reach the range of a terror-free Türkiye, the East and the Southeast will gain a different momentum. Diyarbakir will win as much as Istanbul, Van will win, Bitlis will win. The winner will be every member of the 86 million. We are the thousand-year-old residents and owners of this geography. We have experienced great pain and paid a price in the last 40 years. We do not want to see any form of terrorism either in our country or in the lands of our neighbors.
We will build the happy and prosperous days of the future together by devoting our resources to economic development. As a government, an alliance and a nation, we will definitely achieve this. Together with our alliance partner and our nation, we will continue to work tirelessly until we make the second century of our Republic the Türkiye Century. We will walk towards a bright future together, without falling apart, trusting each other, expanding our commonalities, and approaching each other with empathy. No one will be able to stand in the way of a Türkiye that has strengthened its brotherhood. Nowhere can be achieved through terrorism, violence, weapons and separatist agendas, and no good will come of this.

PROJECT OF THE CENTURY
We started the housing project of the century. We will build 500 thousand houses in 81 provinces. Applications will be due on November 10, with the first delivery in March 2027. We will decorate our cities with neighborhood mansions.
OUR LOVE TO SERVE THE TURKISH NATION IS LIKE THE FIRST DAY
We left our 23rd year in power behind with glory and honor. We are celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the November 3, 2002 elections, which went down in Turkish political history as the Anatolian Revolution. We are proud to set a new record in our history of multi-party democracy. We feel the same pride and excitement today as we did when we received the favor of our nation 23 years ago. We are by far the most successful team in the history of our Republic. Our love of serving the Turkish nation continues as on the first day. We will continue to serve our nation and grow Türkiye with love and enthusiasm.
KAAN WILL PUSH THE SUMMIT
We are carrying out the most successful projects in the history of the Republic. Our goal is to put 250 Altay tanks at the disposal of the armed forces within 6 years. We will add Kaan to the inventory of our air forces on the date we determine. We also signed Eurofighter. While we are rapidly commissioning our local and national defense projects, we will strengthen our defense cooperation with our European allies on a win-win basis. Just as HÜRJET strives for leadership in its field, KAAN will also push for the top in its category when all processes are completed.
ISLAMIC COUNTRIES SHOULD STAND LIKE A SOLID BUILDING AGAINST ATTACKS
As the Islamic world, we are experiencing a very difficult period in which our conscience and sagacity, foresight and fortitude are tested. In this period, we need to be more united with each other and address the problems that concern us all with determination and common sense. It is known that the following is stated in a hadith of our Prophet, who was sent as a guide to humanity and a mercy to the worlds: “The relationship of Muslims with each other is like a building interlocking with each other.” Yes, let’s raise the relations between us to such a level that this building will always remain solid; It should not be affected by earthquakes, attacks or arson in any way.

WE WILL CONTINUE THE FIGHT FOR THE STATE OF PALESTINE
For two years, Gaza witnessed one of the most brutal and barbaric genocides of the last century. There are still martyrs’ bodies that cannot be reached in Gaza, which has turned into a giant pile of rubble. There is a huge destruction worth tens of billions of dollars. Even if the debris is removed, the traces of the trauma experienced by the innocents whose parents were killed before their eyes may never be erased. The wounds inflicted on the hearts of Gazans by the indifference of international organizations may never fully heal. This brutality and genocide will not be forgotten.
Türkiye has been one of the countries that reacted most strongly to this genocide from the first day of the Israeli attacks. We stood against the oppressors with our humanitarian aid exceeding 102 thousand tons, our initiatives on international platforms and the steps we took on the basis of law. We made great efforts to ensure a permanent ceasefire and a just peace. However, we all know that Israel’s record on this issue is very bad. By taking shelter and hiding behind various excuses; We are faced with an administration that has murdered over 200 innocents in the West Bank since the ceasefire agreement and continues its occupation and attacks targeting civilians. It is a fact that these attacks target not only civilians but also the path to peace; It will never hinder the search for a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian issue. We need to deliver more humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and then start reconstruction work. The Israeli government is doing its best to prevent this. We think that the reconstruction plan prepared by the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation should be implemented as soon as possible. In particular, it is essential that the organization and COMCEC play a leading role in the recovery of Gaza. We cannot allow either the annexation of the West Bank, the changing of the status of Jerusalem, or attempts to damage the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, our first qibla. We will continue the struggle together until an independent, sovereign and geographically integrated State of Palestine is established, based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
WE ARE STARTING A SPECIAL SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR SYRIA
The oppression that turned Syria into a bloodbath for 14 years finally ended with the December 8 revolution and the country entered the process of recovery. In the end, it was the Syrian oppressed who achieved victory. The support of our organization and the Islamic world is very, very important in preserving the political unity and territorial integrity of the country and achieving permanent prosperity. The sanctions, which pose a serious obstacle to economic development in Syria, are gradually being lifted, thanks to our efforts. At this point, we encourage the private sector to direct its investments to the Syrian field. Our main priority is for our neighbor Syria to get back on its feet and regain its old days as soon as possible. In this regard, today we are launching a special support program for Syria under the umbrella of COMCEC. With this program, which will contribute to strengthening human and institutional capacity; We will provide project support to Syria in areas such as training, expert exchange, needs analysis and similar areas.
WE CANNOT REMAIN SILENT ABOUT THE MASSACRE IN SUDAN
I would also like to draw your attention to the conflict environment that has been going on for 29 months in Sudan. No one with a heart on his chest can accept the recent massacres against civilians in Al-Fashir. We cannot remain silent about this. The greatest responsibility for stopping the bloodshed in Sudan as soon as possible falls on the Islamic world. As Muslims, we should be able to solve our problems ourselves instead of hoping for help from others. We must protect Sudan’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence. We stand by Sudan; It is of great importance that we continue our humanitarian aid and development support. I believe with all my heart that all member countries of the Organization will take responsibility.
WE MUST BUILD COMPETITIVE ECONOMIES
When we look at the past fifty years of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, it is an undeniable fact that our countries have not received the share they deserve from world trade. We are well behind the trade target we set as 25 percent among the members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The Islamic world, which has 60 percent of the world’s natural gas reserves, 65 percent of its oil resources and 20 percent of the global population, has not yet reached the position we desire in international trade. It is possible for us to take steps to change this situation. Efforts to increase the number of members and expand the scope of the Preferential Trade System, which we launched in 2022 with the aim of strengthening trade between us, are equally valuable. We invite countries that are not yet parties to the Preferential Trade System to join us; I invite the party countries to deepen our cooperation in the field of trade. Of course, while diversifying our exports, we must also build high and competitive economies. Disseminate Islamic finance products for SMEs to access finance; We must harmonize export credit and insurance systems with Islamic principles.
GAZA STEPS ARE BEING DISCUSSED
At the 41st COMCEC meeting, steps that can be taken to establish peace and prosperity after the genocide and great destruction committed by Israel in Palestine, especially in Gaza, will be discussed.

Minister Gürlek: Our President’s determined stance was a turning point
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek shared a post about the April 27 E-memorandum on his social media account.
Minister Gürlek included the following statements in his post:
“The April 27 E-memorandum was an intervention attempt targeting the elected government and directly against our nation’s right to sovereignty and the rule of law.
“OUR PRESIDENT’S DETERMINED STAND WAS A HISTORICAL TURNING POINT”
The determined stance of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, based on the will of the nation, was a historical turning point and frustrated this initiative. Türkiye today; If it is a state of law whose route is not drawn by declarations, but guided by the nation that reveals its will at the ballot box, this was made possible by the strong leadership displayed by our President on April 27 and the unwavering support given by our beloved nation to this will. This stance went down in history as one of the most important breaking moments in the struggle against the coup and memorandum mentality in Türkiye.
The will put forward on April 27 gained even more strength with the epic resistance of our nation on July 15. As the Ministry of Justice; continues to take national will as a basis and to not allow any shadow of tutelage over our democracy; On the anniversary of the April 27 E-memorandum, we once again emphasize our determination to protect our democracy. On this occasion, we declare that we are against all kinds of anti-democratic initiatives; that we will never compromise on law, justice and national will; “We express in the strongest possible way that the periods of tutelage and coup are now completely behind us.”
The April 27 E-memorandum was an intervention attempt targeting the elected government and directly against our nation’s right to sovereignty and the rule of law. Our President Mr. @RTErdogan’s determined stance based on the will of the nation was a historical turning point and this initiative was thwarted… pic.twitter.com/p9hjz7m9MJ

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik: April 27 is one of the most important turning points…
AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made statements regarding the April 27 e-memorandum, which has passed 19 years.
Emphasizing that military and judicial tutelage fell on Ankara with all its darkness in those days, Çelik said that it may be difficult for someone who did not experience those days to understand those days from today.
Stating that today, Cabinet Meetings are held under the chairmanship of the President, these meetings are at the center of politics and all eyes are on the evaluations and decisions to be made in these meetings, Çelik said, “But it was not like this in those days. The whole center was the National Security Council (MGK) meetings. Because the National Security Council meetings were the area of military tutelage to make politics.” he said.

“WHATEVER DECISION YOU MAKE AS A GOVERNMENT, IT WAS ADJUSTED BY THE MGK”
Ömer Çelik stated that on those dates, the National Security Policy Document was systematically placed on top of the Constitution, and a tutelage presidency was tried to be constructed over the prime minister, and said, “There were policies made in the National Security Council in order to obsolete the vote and political will of the elected government from the citizens. In other words, whatever decision you took as the government, it was somehow adjusted and its direction was changed in the National Security Council. The culmination of this in Türkiye is this memorandum tradition.” he said.
Stating that the governments were left completely politically dysfunctional through the memoranda, that they were turned into a shell, that the will they received from the nation was taken away, Çelik noted that the next stage of this was the coup.
AK Party Spokesperson Çelik continued as follows:
“The military memorandum was another way of saying that if you do not surrender your political will to the tutelage authorities in Türkiye, you will face direct armed intervention. Therefore, the memorandum was unfortunately one of the important instruments of a bad tradition that extremely poisoned, destroyed, destroyed and rendered dysfunctional the democratic life in Türkiye. No government could resist this throughout the history of the Republic. So what is the importance of April 27? For the first time in the history of the Republic, a Prime Minister, our President and the AK Party government are here.” “They resisted the memorandum. Actually, we shouldn’t call it a memorandum, because they wanted to give a memorandum. When the government resisted, it became a piece of paper. In other words, this was something that was not planned and was a first in Turkish political life.”

“WHEN THE GOVERNMENT RESPONDED, THE WHOLE EQUATION WAS REVERSED”
Reminding that the memorandum tradition was interrupted for a long time after the AK Party came to power, Çelik said, “Even some of our journalist friends who called us that night said, ‘The fax machines, which have been silent for a long time under the military tutelage, will start working tonight.’ That’s how we were already informed. We informed our President, then our Prime Minister, in this way. But of course, what was not taken into account was that it was never thought that a government could respond to the memorandum mentality. Therefore, democracy is above the elected will.” “While trying to create a great darkness, the whole equation turned upside down when the government responded and what was designed as a memorandum turned into a piece of paper.” he said.
Reminding that the e-memorandum in question, which was prepared by the then Chief of General Staff and the team around him, contained a wide range of statements, including how the President and the national education policy should be, Çelik made the following statements:
“But the main thing is this, firstly, after that day, the tradition of the memorandum ended never to be revived again. Secondly, military tutelage was something that has always been a foreign-supported fiction in Türkiye, which has governed our democracy as a pattern of destruction. I remember very well, for example, the February 28 period, you can clearly see that external connection during the closure case filed against the AK Party. This was an approach that was also unfair and disrespectful to the Turkish Armed Forces. Therefore, that night, our President, as Prime Minister, “The resistance and the total resistance of the government, the AK Party and the national will, the support of the civil society, and the correct attitude of some political parties, upset the result that was tried to be achieved in the memorandum initiative.”
“THEY BOTH GIVEN A MEMORAND AND THEY AVOID TAKING THE PHONES”
Emphasizing that that night was not as comfortable as he describes today, Çelik said, “In other words, it was a scene in which the most intense darkness fell on Ankara and where the outcome of the situation could not be predicted. But the determination shown that night, that is, the will of our President, the clear attitude of the nation not to surrender its elected will to any tutelage focus, and the picture of being ready to pay it no matter what, revealed this situation. In fact, it was the most revolutionary transformation and positive transformation in favor of democracy and civil politics in Türkiye’s history of democracy, in our political history during the Republic period.” “It is one of the important turning points.” shared his opinion.
Çelik said the following about that night:
“They want to hold those who gave the memorandum accountable that night. In other words, the Prime Ministry is calling to say, ‘How can you give such a memorandum?’ But they both gave the memorandum and are avoiding answering the phone. They had such a situation of running away for 15-16 hours. When it was announced that the government would respond, they tried to come forward. So you see how unqualified, how ugly, how much disrespect to Turkish democracy, unfortunately, a bad tradition has been formed and this has continued for years. “In Türkiye, there was a situation where you came to power with the will of the people and left power with the will of military tutelage. Many examples of this have been seen in the past. That bad tradition, the disrespect that haunted democracy and the national will was ended that night.”

Striking confession from the secret witness in the Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization case: He explained the bribery scheme one by one
In the 579-page indictment prepared last October 20 against 200 suspects within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office; There are names such as suspended Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çanyaka and Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin. The detained defendants, the unarrested defendant Aziz İhsan Aktaş and their lawyers were present at the hearing, which was held in the hall opposite the Marmara Closed Penitentiary Institution in Silivri.
HE REVEALED THE DIRTY STRUCTURE WITH DOCUMENTS
The Secret Witness who came to the witness stand at the hearing was connected via SEGBIS. He stated that the information given by Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who was tried as the leader of the organization, by taking advantage of effective remorse, confirmed the “stinking structure” in the municipalities. The witness said, “The operation of the bribery scheme in my statements that I previously submitted to the prosecutor’s office exactly matches the documents presented by Aktaş.”
“THE WEDDING WAS FINANCED BY THE CONTRACTOR”
Detailing how the bribery system worked, the secret witness said, “Tenders were given to well-known companies through direct procurement, thus earning huge profits. The figures were inflated, exceeding the market value, or irregularities were made by showing high number of pieces, in a method known to everyone in the market. Ali Can Abacı’s wedding was built by a contractor at that time, and Aziz İhsan proved this with his documents.”

Türkiye is the center for Zero Waste – Last Minute News
The Zero Waste Movement started on September 27, 2017, under the auspices of First Lady Erdoğan. The project, which was carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and turned into a global environmental movement, saved money in many areas from the environment to energy, from greenhouse gas emissions to storage space, and invested in both the economy and the future. Türkiye aims to increase the recovery rate to 60 percent in 2035. The project turned into a global movement with March 30 International Zero Waste Day, which was declared by the UN on December 14, 2022, under the leadership of Türkiye and the support of 105 countries.
ZERO WASTE FORUM
Zero Waste Foundation President Samed Ağırbaş emphasized that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has a special vision for Istanbul and said, “Erdoğan wants to make this city a center of the United Nations (UN). Under the leadership of Emine Erdoğan, we want to follow this vision in the context of zero waste and environment. In this context, we aim for more than 10 international organizations to open their offices in Istanbul, where they will carry out zero waste activities, in the next 5 years.” Ağırbaş said that the Zero Waste Movement has now crossed continents and that they see the positive contribution of this movement to the world in almost every country. “We are organizing the Zero Waste Forum at Atatürk Airport on 5-7 June. More than 150 countries will participate there and we expect more than 5 thousand participants. It is the world’s largest civil environment and zero waste event.” he said. Explaining that as of today, more than 200 mayors from around the world will be at the Zero Waste Forum, Ağırbaş said, “We will talk about zero waste practices with local government and private sector representatives there.” “As a foundation, under the leadership of Emine Erdoğan, we have offered a platform to all environmental organizations in the world where they can discuss freely and express their ideas freely,” he said.

We were happy to have the files reopened.
Following Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek’s statement, “No file is left unattended. No suspicious case will be left to be forgotten. Murders that remain dark will be investigated in unsolved cases.” This provided new hope for the family of Eser Binen (36), who was killed in an armed attack with three other people in the cemetery in Adana in 2017, and whose perpetrators have not been found to date. Zeliha Binen (67), a mother of two children, who said that she has been crying for her son for 9 years, said, “I was very happy when my daughter said that the unsolved perpetrators’ files would be reopened. Our file should also be reopened. My son’s blood should not be left untouched. My work was working in Saudi Arabia, we were going to engage my child, but they took it away from us. We do not know who killed my child and why,” she shed tears. Sister Yasemin Taş (49) said, “Just as the murder of Gülistan Doku was brought to light, my brother’s murder and the deaths of other people will also be brought to light. We have great confidence in our minister of justice.”
THEY WERE KILLED IN THE CEMETERY
The incident took place on January 26, 2017 in the Alihocalı District cemetery of Yüreğir District. The cemetery officer called the police when he saw a person lying motionless next to his car with plate number 01 ERG 36. The teams came to the car that crashed into a pole in the cemetery and came across three male bodies, one inside the vehicle, one next to the door, and one 10 meters away. It was determined that the people who died in the attack with Kalashnikovs and pistols were body and paint master Eser Binen, auto body master Ufuk Altun and Refik Bingül. 25 Kalashnikovs and nearly 100 pistol bullets were found at the scene. No positive results were obtained in the efforts made by the police forces so far and the case was shelved as the perpetrator remains unsolved.
MY BABY WEARS A SHROUD INSTEAD OF A GROOM’S DRESS
Following the clarification of the Gülistan Doku murder after 6 years, the Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated that they have maximized the institutional capacity to clarify the unsolved files and said, “No file is abandoned. No suspicious case will be left to be forgotten. Murders that remain dark will be investigated in the unsolved files.” This gave hope to Eser Binen’s family. Zeliha Binen, who shed tears while looking at her son’s photos, said, “Let the murder that has been left in the dark for 9 years be brought to light. I was going to my son’s grave every day. I can no longer move because of my illness. I am bedridden. I look at my son’s photo and fall asleep crying. In the morning, I cannot even look at the photo because of my shame because my son’s blood is on the ground. I now ask the Minister to find the murderers of my son. My son was very clean. He came from Saudi Arabia on leave. We were going to do his engagement ceremony, but we were going to hold him off.” “They took him. I was going to marry him. My son wore a shroud instead of a groom’s suit. I can’t understand how a murder involving 25 Kalashnikovs and nearly a hundred gun cases is still unsolved. We don’t know why my son was killed. Let’s look at our file again.”
