Turkish table at the NATO summit – Last Minute News
The NATO Summit to be held in Ankara will also make a difference with its refreshments. Guests will be offered uniquely delicious dishes, especially Türkiye’s geographically indicated products, with recipes taken from the book “Turkish Cuisine with Centuries-Old Recipes” prepared under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s wife, Emine Erdoğan.
In order to welcome foreign guests coming to Ankara in the best possible way, orders for nuts and dried fruits to decorate the catering plates were also made. Hundreds of kilograms of dried nuts such as figs, walnuts, apricots, raisins, pistachios, hazelnuts and roasted chickpeas were ordered from Gimat tradesmen, Ankara’s food warehouse, to be served at the summit.
While it is learned that there are raw, unroasted nuts as well as roasted nuts among the orders placed, it is expected that leaders, such as French President Emmanuel Macron, who are already considering running tracks, will prefer these products, which are known to be healthier. It is estimated that the best options for Macron are nuts such as figs and apricots.
On the other hand, US leader Donald Trump, one of the countries to which Türkiye exports the most hazelnuts, will be able to taste Turkish hazelnuts in Türkiye this time, which will add even more energy to his energetic identity.
Muhammet Burak Çiğdem, President of All Nuts Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜKSİAD), stated that Türkiye has a significant market share in the nuts and dried fruit sector and said, “We have nuts and dried fruit exports of approximately 4.5 billion dollars. Leaders will have the opportunity to taste our products at the NATO summit in Ankara.”

Horror of harassment in the middle of the street in Şişli: The suspect who followed the young woman was caught making bread in the oven!
The incident took place on Sunday, June 21, in Meşrutiyet District. According to the information obtained, Aysel H. noticed that a person was following her while she was walking on the street. The suspect, identified as SG (29), walked away from the street quickly after harassing Aysel H. verbally and trying to make physical contact with her. The investigation was initiated upon the application of Aysel H., who went to the police station after the incident and filed a complaint. Police teams examined the surrounding security camera footage and determined that the suspect they identified was SG (29).
ŞİŞLİ PUBLIC ORDER POLICY CAUGHT
As the investigation continued, it was determined that SG was working in a bakery in Şişli. It was determined that the suspect, who was detained while making bread, was working without insurance, and administrative proceedings were initiated against the workplace. SG, who was referred to the courthouse for the crime of ‘Sexual harassment’ after his procedures at the police station, was arrested in the court and sent to prison. The moment of the incident was captured on the security camera of a nearby workplace.
‘I DIAGNOSED’
Aysel H., who made a statement on her virtual media account after what she experienced, said, “I was at the Şişli Police Department all day today. I gave my statement. While I was giving my statement, I learned that the person was detected and caught as a result of the intense and meticulous work of the teams and the camera recordings watched for hours. The person was brought to the police station and I identified him. While I was there, all the details were shared with me, the process was shared. That’s why I really thank the teams. Şişli Police Department, especially the Public Order Bureau, did a very meticulous work. “They identified and caught the person in a short time, I thank them,” he said.

We are nearing the end of the process – Breaking News
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, spoke about the Terror-Free Türkiye process in the live broadcast in which he was a guest. Stating that the law to be enacted is self-contained and temporary, Kurtulmuş said, “It will not be a law that will be enacted and cover everyone and remain in force forever. This is the way it was decided in the commission. The law to be enacted will never be in the nature of an amnesty. It will not be in the form of a perception like that, it should not be. This should be more of an execution regulation.”
Stating that the issue of terrorism-free Türkiye will be completed soon, Kurtulmuş stated that 80-90 percent of the terrorism issue is over. Kurtulmuş said, “In my opinion, most of the work is over. Terrorism will soon be completely removed from Türkiye’s agenda.” Kurtulmuş said, “It is the fastest moving model compared to its examples in the world. The law is self-contained and temporary, it can never be an amnesty. We should not have a problem like the PKK next year.” The highlights of the statements of the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Kurtulmuş, were as follows:
DEVELOPMENTS ARE IN MY FAVOR
For years, many countries have supported PKK terrorism and provided weapons. Türkiye is starting a new era. Terrorism will be completely removed from Türkiye’s agenda. 80 percent of the terrorist work is over. Türkiye’s regional power has increased. They saw that it is not possible to threaten Türkiye through Syria.
IT WILL NOT BE AMNESTY
There will be no law on terrorism-free Türkiye that will cover everyone and remain in force forever. The law to be enacted will never be amnesty.
In my opinion, most of the work is done. In the near future, terrorism will be completely removed from Türkiye’s agenda. While the commission was carrying out its work, I considered it important that all parties contributed to the work.
I think it is important for CHP to embrace this issue and contribute to it in this commission. I expect CHP to maintain the same attitude. From the beginning of the process, no concessions were made anywhere in this process.
Everyone in the parliament expressed their opinions and a common text was agreed upon. It is unthinkable otherwise. The cost of terrorism was 1.3 trillion dollars. This was the loss at that time, I think it was twice as much.
GNAT IS NOT THE GUARDIAN OF CHP
I am disturbed by the image of CHP. We can never be a party to CHP’s internal fight. The Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly is not a court they appeal to because they cannot solve the problem among themselves. We are neither the guardian of CHP nor any other party. It is not the case that the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly will make a decision and the debate within the party will end one way or another. Türkiye has always had big goals. Even further goals need to be set. It will become stronger with this positive atmosphere created.
A HISTORICAL TURNING POINT FOR NATO
NATO’s normal meeting of leaders, heads of state and heads of government was taking place. Now we are holding the third one in Istanbul. These are actually meetings where important discussions take place regarding the parliamentary perspective regarding NATO, security concepts in the world, and even its future. We will host the NATO Parliament Speakers at Dolmabahçe Palace on the 29th of the month. The main meeting next week is the Leaders Summit in Ankara. I think we will witness a historical turning point for NATO at that meeting.
WE SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON THE PEACE PERSPECTIVE
This summit is very important for us. Security is no longer something that can be achieved only with soldiers, only with guns, or only with bombs. It turns out that making peace is as important as fighting. In fact, it is obvious that NATO is a security umbrella, but what kind of a peace perspective can it develop and how can it contribute to the creation of peace? I think it is necessary to focus on these as well.

Confessing managers explained the bribery scheme in Şile one by one
The statements included in the investigation file meticulously carried out by the Terrorism and Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office proved that the scandal that broke out in Şile was much bigger and more systematic than expected. The confessions of Private Secretary Oğuz Kaçmaz and Coordinator Furkan Yapıcı, who were detained within the scope of the investigation and given “full authority” by Şile Mayor Özgür Kabadayı, clearly revealed the corruption in the CHP municipality.
According to the statement of confessor Furkan Yapıcı, Oğuz Kaçmaz, who was sent to Şile from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mukhtars Department after the election, was declared as the “Shadow President”. The other key name of the system was Ferhat Domurcuk, who stated at every opportunity that he was sent to Şile by IMM chief Murat Ongun. This duo took control of all tenders and money flow in the municipality. So much so that the municipality’s flower tender was awarded directly to a company in Ümraniye in which Kaçmaz had a 30 percent secret partner. Ferhat Domurcuk, who said he came from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, gave the 7 million lira printing job to a company without a tender and raided the room of Culture Director Elif, who did not want to sign the document. In the statements showing that the municipality has almost collapsed, it is explained in detail that the network collected millions from mining companies under the name of “sponsorship”, that 1 million 500 thousand TL was extorted from Şile Beton, 500 thousand TL from Soft Şile for housing, 500 thousand TL for the working license of Tranquila Hotel and 750 thousand TL for the advertising board of Ramada Hotel. The amount of bribe received from the company that was awarded the concert tender at the 34th International Şile Cloth Festival was told to the chairman Kabadayı as 3 million TL. Private Secretary Oğuz Kaçmaz and Ferhat Domurcuk took 4 million TL from the company and shared the remaining 1 million TL among themselves, secretly from the president. The money was received in bags as progress payments were made. In the construction project of 19 villas belonging to the Kakşa family, a bribe was demanded with ‘threats’ in exchange for a license for the project.

AK Party is a book about Türkiye
President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the “AK Party 33rd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting” in Sapanca. In his speech here, President Erdoğan gave important messages to the party organization and the nation: Each page of a book may have a different illumination, calligraphy, miniature or marbling, but each book has a cover, a bookmark that holds the book together and a binding that unifies it. Every book has a preface, introduction and foreword. No matter how different the pages of the book look, in the hands of a master writer, an experienced editor, and a skilled bookbinder, the book is a whole and unique. AK Party is a book about Türkiye. There is a page for everyone here. There is room for everyone’s story here. But this book has a volume, a manuscript, a bookbinder, an author, a common spirit, a common feeling. Our path is one, our direction is one, our goal, our goal and our range are one. We will walk with everyone who wants to walk on that path, in that direction, to that destination. Just as we say ‘Good luck’ to those who part ways, we also say ‘Welcome’ to those who cross our path, embrace them, and act as companions in their journey and struggle. Our hearts have been open to everyone for 25 years.
When we established our party, we clearly drew our principles, boundaries and frameworks. We will not go beyond that line, nor will we allow it to be crossed. We will never allow the AK Party book to be destroyed. AK Party is a cause movement. We are representatives of a mission. We are the bearers of a sacred trust. We are responsible for the campaign, not the victory. The mentality that resorts to every method to achieve victory, that sees every way as permissible, and that does not recognize principles, boundaries, or rules is far from us. We act with principles, stand firmly on the straight path, and hope for victory from God’s will.
We’ve had a 25-year epic, but we haven’t forgotten our cause. We did not lose our direction, we did not deviate from our path, we did not deviate from our range, we did not break our ties with the nation. We are as alive, excited, determined and diligent as the day we were founded.
OUR CASE IS A NATION’S STRUGGLE
This cause is a sacred cause with its roots in the past and its eyes in the past. This case existed before us and will exist after us. This struggle is not a personal struggle. This struggle is the struggle of the nation, the struggle of the country. This struggle is the struggle of the ummah, the struggle of humanity. As long as God gives us life, we will continue this struggle with glory and honor. We have not betrayed our nation’s trust, and we will not. We have not, and will not, dash our nation’s dreams. We have not tarnished our nation’s trust, and we will never do so. We will continue to walk on the path we believe in, without bending or bending.
WE DO POLITICS WITH THE SPIRIT OF YENİKAPI
Politics cannot be done with the understanding of “same people in the same place, different people in different places”. Politics is compromise, talking, negotiation, trying to meet on common ground while preserving differences. We do not have to think exactly the same about every issue. But we have to show this virtue and the will to come together on issues that are in the interest of the country and the nation, to find a common denominator. We do this not for ourselves or our own fortune; We have to do it for the future of the nation, with the awareness of our national duty. Under the umbrella of the People’s Alliance, we are displaying the best example of this with MHP and its valuable leader, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. As different political parties, we joined forces for the survival of our country and the peace and security of our nation. We met on common points and established the People’s Alliance. We serve our nation together with the spirit of Yenikapı. Of course, we do not think the same as the voters of the CHP or the voters of other parties on every issue. But our political differences should not turn us into enemies, should not alienate us from each other, or drive a wedge between us.
NO ONE IS A STEPCHILD IN THIS COUNTRY
In this country, no one with the identity of the Republic of Türkiye is a guest on the homeland, not a tenant, not a refugee, not an other, not a stepchild; On the contrary, all of them own property in this homeland, are homeowners, are the essential elements of this nation, and are the true children of this nation. Regardless of the geography he lives in; No matter where their grandparents came from; Regardless of his sect, disposition, origin, opinion, thought, he is a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye; Therefore, he is the owner of this country, this homeland, this state as much as anyone else. This state; It is not the state of a group, a mass, a certain group, or a certain origin, but of all 86 million people living on this land; Every individual of the 86 million people, with no exception, owns this state equally.
AN OPPOSITION THAT DRAWS ITS POWER FROM CORRUPTION IS USELESS
Of course, we do not know whether CHP can achieve this or not, but it is extremely clear that Türkiye needs a main opposition party that is free from all kinds of tutelage. All we want is for Türkiye to normalize. An opposition that does not derive its strength from the grassroots, that does not derive its strength from its voters, that derives its strength from some foreign powers that have an account on Turkey, that derives its strength from orphans’ rights obtained through corruption, black money, and illicit money will not bring benefit to Türkiye, but will bring harm. A structure that is not at peace with itself has no contribution to offer to our nation.
BOTH FETO AND ZIONISM WANT TO MEAN 86 MILLION
When FETO made that treacherous coup attempt on July 15, it did not only do this to me, not only to us; They made that treacherous coup attempt against Türkiye, they did it to all 86 million of our citizens. While we are clearing the FETO treason network from this country, it is not for ourselves; We cleaned it for our state, our nation, our future.
The success of our terrorism-free Türkiye process is not for ourselves; We want this for our country and all our children, for Türkiye’s bright future.
The genocidal, occupying, expansionist ideology called Zionism is not only against me, not only our party, not only our alliance; It means everyone. While we fight against Zionism, we are not fighting for ourselves personally; We do this for the total survival of our country and nation.
UGLY ATTACKS: IGNORANT FOSSILS SPEAR GRANTED AGAINST THE HEADCARF
From time to time, some marginal, ignorant, backward-looking fossils appear who spew hatred towards the headscarf and those who wear it. These endangered specimens are supposedly teaching women, humiliating and threatening them, in an extremely patronizing and arrogant manner. Everyone should understand this: Türkiye has left this issue behind. Türkiye has normalized this issue. Türkiye has come to the line of equality and justice on this issue. Türkiye has reached reasonable ground on this issue. Now, those who do not understand this need to understand: The headscarf is not abnormal, it is not marginal, it is not radical, it is not extreme, it is not the symbol of a certain sect, a certain community or ideology. This is the normal of all times.
FOR THE FIGHT IN CHP: THEY PRODUCED FRANKESTEIN AND THEY ARE PENDING THE PUNISHMENT
We are not a party to the fight within the CHP, and we will not be tomorrow either. They set traps for each other, they dug each other’s wells, they complained about each other, and they came to this point not by ours, not by the judiciary, but by their own hands and their own actions. They produced a Frankenstein, and now they are suffering the consequences. But despite this, our desire and hope is this: It will undoubtedly be beneficial for both Turkish politics and Turkey if CHP gets rid of external forces within itself.
TO THOSE WHO DISCRIMINATE: THEY WORK AS SUBCONTRACTORS TO THE ENEMIES
We have never harbored hostility towards anyone just because they think differently than us, but everyone should know that no one can harbor hostility towards us just because we think differently than them. He cannot attempt to wave his fingers, make adjustments, or draw a direction as he did in the past. No one can discriminate against us in our own country, in our own land, or teach us lessons in an arrogant manner. This is neither anyone’s place nor their right. Whoever tries to discriminate among the members of this nation serves the enemies of this nation. Whoever discriminates the women of this country based on their attire is subcontracting to the enemies of Türkiye.
FASCIZANT DISCOURSES: THEY POLARIZED THE NATION EVEN OVER SYRIAN REFUGEES
They said, “You won’t think like that, you won’t dress like that, you won’t read that book, you won’t write like that.” They said, “You won’t speak that language, you won’t listen to that folk song, you won’t go there, you won’t learn it, you won’t teach it.” They divided this nation, divided it, polarized it, and turned political competition into hostility and conflict. They separated the oppressed people with the ugly campaign they carried out on Syrian refugees in the last presidential elections.
SPECIAL SONG FOR THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY
In the hall where Erdoğan made his speech, posters with the slogans “The leader of the century who will mark history”, “A nation’s epic of unity”, “A nation’s epic of democracy”, “A nation’s epic of stability”, “The indivisible will of the nation is 25 years old” were hung. Erdoğan listened to the newly prepared song “Legendary Grand President” on stage. A quarter of a century was emphasized in AK Party’s new song.
PEOPLE’S DEMANDS HAVE BEEN LISTENED
On the second day of the camp, which was carried out with the theme of AK Party’s ‘Quarter Century Epic’, the future goals of the party were discussed. Current policies were analyzed. A Common Mind Session was held with the participation of cabinet members. In this session, a strong evaluation basis was created from the field to the center and the citizens’ demands were conveyed directly to the cabinet members.
ÇELİK: WE ARE IN A NEW PHASE IN TERROROR-FREE Türkiye
AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made a statement within the scope of the “AK Party 33rd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting” in Sakarya:
I stated that we are at a new stage regarding terrorism-free Türkiye. At the new stage we have reached, we invite everyone to support this process with a positive approach and to bring their criticisms to the agenda if they have any. This is extremely valuable. It is an issue that concerns all of Türkiye. A legal basis must be created for the terrorist organization to lay down its arms. We think that this issue should be brought to the Parliament as soon as possible and become law quickly.
There is a management problem in CHP. This situation is something that our citizens who have devoted themselves to CHP do not deserve.
