Minister Işıkhan met with the earthquake victims: We welcome the first Ramadan together in their new homes

Published

on

Emphasizing that they did not leave the earthquake victims who said “My New Home, My First Iftar” alone in their new homes, Minister Işıkhan said, “We share our bread with them at the same tables. Friendship and brotherhood means sharing pain, happiness and peace. Just as we were one heart during the February 6 earthquakes, today we are together in the joy of resurrecting our cities and our brothers who have returned to their sparkling homes.”

In his speech, Minister Işıkhan also touched upon the work carried out specifically for Elazığ and announced that approximately 15 thousand houses, including workplaces, village houses and residences, have been delivered to the rightful owners throughout the province so far. He stated that this number reached approximately 500 thousand throughout the earthquake region. Explaining that they are making intense efforts to improve not only housing but also working life and social security, Işıkhan listed the supports provided to the earthquake region. He announced that important conveniences were provided, such as the postponement of premium debts, the removal of the participation fee of 2.6 billion liras, and the payment of debts in interest-free installments for up to 24 months.

Stating that 1 billion 694 million liras were paid for 193 thousand citizens within the scope of Short-Time Working Allowance and Cash Wage Support, Minister Işıkhan stated that the number of insured people in the earthquake region exceeded the pre-earthquake level and reached 2 million 56 thousand people. He said that this data shows that working life has become stronger than before the earthquake.

Emphasizing that the state is fully staffed with all its institutions under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Işıkhan said, “While rebuilding the earthquake zone, we are creating more earthquake-resistant cities, safer living spaces and a stronger economic structure with the vision of the Turkey Century.”

Referring to the employment data across Turkey, Minister Işıkhan added that the unemployment rate has been in single digits for 11 quarters at 8.2 percent, and that historical low levels have been reached in youth and women’s employment. Completing his speech with the emphasis on unity and solidarity, Minister Işıkhan concluded his speech by saying, “Our intention is one, our belief is one, our path is one. This path is the path of a holy direction that stands by the oppressed, stands tall against the oppressor, and defends the rights and law of its nation under all circumstances.” Citizens who participated in the program shared the excitement and happiness of welcoming the first Ramadan in their new homes with Minister Işıkhan.

Striking article from NUN Foundation President Esra Albayrak, emphasizing ‘Gaza’: The Western-centered order is now disintegrating

Published

on

Esra Albayrak, Chairman of the Board of NUN Education and Culture Foundation, wrote an article for The Jakarta Post newspaper. Referring to the Bandung Conference held in Indonesia in April 1955, Albayrak reminded that the conference participant countries gathered to “determine their own agenda”.

Albayrak pointed out that Western powers were not invited to the conference in question and emphasized that this was a conscious choice.

Albayrak made the assessment that Bandung declared that the majority of humanity could chart its own path in a world where meetings without the West were “considered unimportant” and noted that this was achieved with the Non-Aligned Movement that emerged.

Albayrak stated that the Non-Aligned Movement is not just a diplomatic stance; He stated that it is an outlet that declares that the world is wider than the frameworks imposed on it.

Noting that this claim is still not complete, Albayrak said, “What the Bandung generation faced was not only political dependency; it was also a situation that was harder to name and therefore harder to eliminate: addiction to ways of knowing.” he said.

Albayrak evaluated what sociologist Syed Hussein Alatas called this “captive mind” and described it as an intellectual who examines his own society only with categories produced externally and accepts borrowed tools as universal truths.

Underlining that the captive mind is not aware of its captivity, Albayrak said, “The intellectual legacy of colonialism was designed to provide exactly this.” made his assessment.

Albayrak noted that the Bandung Conference was a turning point in the struggle for political independence and pointed out the difficulties in achieving independence of thought, knowledge and imagination.

Striking article from NUN Foundation President Esra Albayrak, emphasizing 'Gaza': The Western-centered order is now disintegrating

“COLONIALISM DID NOT END, IT CHANGED ITS FORM”

“In this sense, colonialism did not end in the 1960s; it changed form.” Albayrak said:

“Financial systems, educational models and legal frameworks have been restructured to make the colonial order seem natural and inevitable. What we call the ‘post-colonial world’ today is actually a continuation of colonialism operating under a new language and maintaining an unbroken continuity.”

Statement from Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek about Gülistan Doku: Umut Altaş is the person who will solve the case!

Statement from Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek about Gülistan Doku: Umut Altaş is the person who will solve the case!

‘I THINK UMUT ALTAŞ IS THE PERSON WHO WILL SOLVE THE INCIDENT’

Regarding the red notice issued about Umut Altaş, Gürlek said, “We want his extradition. We have communicated the sensitivity and the process with the US authorities due to the importance of the matter. We hope for his extradition. I think Umut Altaş is the person who will solve the case. Because he is the closest witness of the incident. He also escapes abroad under suspicion. The investigation continues, our Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office continues. Our Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office is also following the process, especially regarding the Governor.”

Regarding the regulatory work on identity verification in virtual media, Minister Gürlek said, “Its work is currently continuing. Our Ministry of Family and Social Services has passed a legal regulation package. We have also received similar examples. All of these are in the 12th package; social media regulation, increasing the penalties of children, are currently in the working phase. We will inform the public after reaching a certain stage.”

Statement from Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek about Gülistan Doku: Umut Altaş is the person who will solve the case!

‘MANAGEMENT OF THE PROCESS ENTIRELY BELONGS TO THE GNAT’

Speaking about the work carried out by the ministry regarding the ‘Terror-free Turkey’ process, Gürlek said, “The memorandum of understanding was published and came to the Parliament. Here, of course, the will of the Parliament belongs. We have explained it before. As the Ministry of Justice, if there is a need in the preparation phase of the laws, we are ready for this. But the making of the laws, determining the framework, and managing the process completely belong to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.”

ROJİN KABAİŞ FILE: WE ESTABLISHED A SPECIAL TEAM

Gürlek answered the question about whether other unsolved files similar to the Gülistan Doku investigations are on the agenda: “They are files that create social sensitivity, people want to get a positive response to them. In the Rojin Kabaiş case, the mobile phone solution was previously sent abroad. We have now established a local team. We think that if we solve the mobile phone, we will take an important stage in the investigation phase. We look at the file on a file basis, not on the individuals in the file. But of course, the public opinion in general, especially women, children whose assailants remain unsolved like this.” “He wants the murders to be brought to light. I hope there can be positive developments in the Rojin Kabaiş file.”

Gürlek stated that a legal regulation regarding IBAN victims is expected and said, “There is, but of course we do not know whether it will be passed by the Parliament or not.”

Harsh reaction from President Erdoğan to Özgür Özel: You will burn as much space as you do

Published

on

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke to his party’s GNAT group meeting and gave important messages. President Erdoğan said, “We are in love with this country and this nation. We have no business with polemics that polarize the country. We have no business with fake and virtual discussions. We are not in any of them, and we never will be.” he said.

Highlights from President Erdoğan’s statements:

My dear nation, my dear fellow deputies, ladies and gentlemen, I greet you with my most heartfelt feelings. In your presence, I respectfully salute my colleagues who worked day and night for the Turkish Century.

Today, I once again salute the brave sons of Palestine, who defended their land despite all the barbarism and genocide they were subjected to, and I reiterate that we are always with them with our prayers and support.

I would like to thank each of my brothers from the bottom of my heart for this conversation that is difficult to describe with words. May God make our solidarity and companionship permanent. May God keep us from the path of service to the ummah, nation and humanity.

Today, we are celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Kut al-Amara Victory, one of the pride of our history. The Kut’ul-Amara Victory has taken its place in our national memory as a heroic epic written with glory and honor in our history. Another aspect of this victory is to expose the lie that the Arabs stabbed us in the back, which is now being rebuked by certain groups. Arab people supported the siege and were martyred for this cause. In addition to Arabs, Kurdish tribes also fought alongside the Ottoman army. Among the Arab tribes, there were also Shiite ones. It reminds us how important the Turkish-Kurdish-Arab alliance we have underlined is. Çanakkale has been the place where our brotherhood came into being. The same truth was also valid for Kut’ul-Amara.

We must unite together against those who want to stain our geography with blood. Our origins, sects may be different, our lifestyles, world of thought, and political views may be different, but these are exceptional values that ensure our human unity, not what divides us. We have to put aside differences and embrace unity. We have to speak the language of brotherhood beyond our borders and give strong messages of peace. We are fighting for this. Türkiye’s meeting with the people in the region, without discrimination between Turkish, Arab and Kurds, and creating a new paradigm is a policy that will be appreciated and supported. Like our past, our future is also common. Falling for the tricks of those who want to perform new surgeries in our region would be a betrayal of our history and future. No one can bear such a responsibility. Just as flesh and nail are inseparable, no one can come between us and our brothers and sisters with whom we have lived on the same land for a thousand years, and no one can be an enemy to us when we can embrace the future in peace. No one has the power to destroy our brotherhood, which is kneaded with the blood of our martyrs in Çanakkale, Kutül Amare and many Islamic lands. For this reason, we will not say goodbye to those who want to arson our brotherhood. We will continue to sing our victory anthems with brotherhood songs with enthusiasm to those who want to sow discord.

WE WILL DELIVER THE KEYS OF THE HOUSES PERSONALLY AFTER MARCH 2027

My dear companions and cause, as we approach the 25th anniversary of the establishment of our party, we serve our nation with the love of the first day. As Yunus Emre said, we are working hard to enter the hearts of our citizens. We are in an intense struggle not to waste even a single second of our time. On Saturday, we took another step in this direction. We shared the housing project of the 100th year, which will provide 500 thousand houses, and our people showed great interest in our project. 8 million citizens applied for 500 thousand houses. In 4 months, we identified 500 thousand beneficiaries in a transparent manner before a notary in 81 provinces. The first phase of the process that will make tens of thousands of our families homeowners has been completed. Now our goal is to deliver the houses to their rightful owners. We will start the construction process on the field very quickly. We will deliver the keys to the houses gradually, starting from March 2027.

WE ARE IMPLEMENTING THE RENTAL HOUSING APPLICATION IN ISTANBUL FOR THE FIRST TIME

We will provide homes to our people with installments between 7,300 and 11 thousand liras. We are implementing the rental housing application in Istanbul for the first time. We are building 100 thousand houses as well as 15 thousand rental houses. Our citizens will rent housing from TOKİ at affordable prices. This summer, we will deliver our rental houses by lottery. Those whose names were not included in the draw should not be upset, we are a government that has produced 1 million 460 thousand houses only through TOKİ. We have largely erased the traces of February 6 in a short period of 3 years.

We are in love with this country and this nation. We have no business with polemics that polarize the country. We have no business with fake and virtual discussions. We are not in any of them, we never will be. Those who seek us will find us at the opening ceremony, at the construction site, laying the foundations of huge works, and unveiling finished projects. Those who seek us will find us in the corner of our nation’s heart palace. Those who seek us will find us worrying about the problems of this nation.

(Reaction to Özgür Özel) The old Türkiye does not exist anymore, you will burn as much space as you can.

Grieving mother: “I’m holding on to life with my son’s picture on my arm”

Published

The incident took place on January 26, 2017 in the cemetery of Alihocalı District of Yüreğir District. The teams went to the scene upon notice and encountered three male bodies, one inside the vehicle, one next to the door, and one 10 meters away. It was determined that the people who died in the attack with Kalashnikov and pistols were body and paint master Eser Binen (36), auto body master Ufuk Altun (37) and second-year business administration student Refik Bingül. 25 Kalashnikovs and nearly 100 pistol bullets were found at the scene. No positive results were obtained in the efforts carried out by the police forces so far and the case was shelved as the perpetrator remains unsolved.

GULISTAN HAS BEEN RESOLVED, AND WE ARE WAITING

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek’s statement that the unsolved and missing files will be re-examined gave hope to the Bingül family. Stating that they have been living in pain for 9 years, mother Selvihan Bingül said, “We became hopeful when we heard that the unknown perpetrator files would be opened again. I trust our minister after the Gülistan Doku murder was clarified. I am trying to hold on to my son’s life with the picture I had painted on my arm. I want to find out who took my son away from life.”

THEY WERE CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE

Father Mahmut Bingül (58) said, “Refik had bought a vehicle with his friends. They had fun celebrating. Then they went to the cemetery at night. They visited the grave of his friend’s mother. On their way back from there, they were caught in the crossfire. My son tried to escape but failed. The person or persons who did this also shot the children in the neck. The perpetrators were not found. A few years later, they sent a letter to the prosecutor’s office because there were no findings that required follow-up. Our minister is reopening the files, and he is very sorry.” “We trust,” he said.
