Breaking news! TOKİ DRAW 2026 HAS STARTED: President Erdoğan pushed the button: New houses will find their owners!
Last minute… The highly anticipated TOKİ draw 2026 has started. With the shooting ceremony when President Erdoğan pushes the button, TOKİ draw results will be determined and citizens will have their new homes. President Erdoğan said, “The only solution for Istanbul is urban transformation. The more prepared and resistant Istanbul is to disasters, the stronger Istanbul will be. Therefore, I would like to make this call to all our citizens, come and evaluate the campaigns. Take action before it is too late.” he said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, “I hope that the 100 thousand houses that we will draw within the scope of our 500 thousand social housing project will be beneficial for our Istanbul, our country and our nation, especially our beneficiaries.” he said.
President Erdoğan, in his speech at the “Host Türkiye” Istanbul draw ceremony held at the Atatürk Airport National Garden, expressed his pleasure in attending the ceremony.
Stating that today they are on the same side with the nation, with the same feeling and the same determination, President Erdoğan said, “Today, we are in beautiful Istanbul, where one era ends and another opens, and whose conquest was heralded by our Prophet. Look, this is not a city among cities, this is the accumulation of six centuries, the treasure of our ancestors, the most beautiful work of our nation. In the words of our late teacher Nihad Sami Banarlı, this place is ‘at least as beautiful as Istanbul Turkish, from all centuries and from all homelands, near and far.” It is a rich composition compiled and a unique result.’ “This is the longest-lasting place in the world, where the Fatih nation gathered all the beautiful, sublime and good values in the lands of the empire they established on three continents.” he said.
Stating that Istanbul is a lofty, spiritual, respected and exceptional city, Erdoğan said, “Istanbul is our door to the world, Istanbul is our city of vision, Istanbul is the apple of our eye. I am happy to present you with new works, services and projects in this magnificent city where the sea and the land meet. I am eternally grateful to God who has given us the opportunity to be the recipient of your favor and to keep our promises.” I say let it be.” he said.
Thanking the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change for the ceremony, Erdoğan said, “I hope that the 100 thousand houses that we will draw within the scope of our 500 thousand social housing project will be beneficial for our Istanbul, our country and our nation, especially our beneficiaries. I wish each of my citizens who will live in these houses a healthy, peaceful and fruitful life with their families.” he said.
Emphasizing that cities are the identity documents of nations and title deeds of civilizations, Erdoğan said:
“From history to culture, from architecture to aesthetics, from literature to art, the roots of a nation are hidden in cities. In this respect, cities are not just composed of buildings, structures, streets, avenues and squares. History lies in them, today’s heart beats in them, and the horizon of the future arises in them. For this reason, protecting the city means bringing the past and the past together. It means carrying culture and civilization to the future together with the nation. To be respectful of ancestors, to hold on to the trust, to people.” Investing means contributing to the common heritage of humanity.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, “With the help of TOKİ, we have put 1 million 762 thousand social housing units into the service of our nation so far.” he said.
In his speech at the “Host Turkey” Istanbul draw ceremony held at the Atatürk Airport National Garden, Erdoğan said that, as the AK Party, they have been striving to improve the cities and serve the nation properly for 23.5 years.
Expressing that they see all cities, especially Istanbul, as “places where the beauty of Allah is manifested”, in the words of the late Turgut Cansever, Erdoğan stated that they are making sincere efforts to improve the infrastructure of the cities and make them more resistant to earthquakes.
Stating that social housing and urban transformation moves are the most concrete manifestations of these efforts, Erdoğan said, “I would like to express this with great pride today. We have put 1 million 762 thousand social housing into the service of our nation so far through TOKİ.” he said.
Pointing out that these residences have provided more than 6 million citizens with modern living spaces with mosques, parks, walking paths and other social facilities, Erdoğan continued as follows:
“We did not see the issue only as new housing production. We rolled up our sleeves to ensure the safety of our cities and reduce the risky building stock. To date, we have managed to transform 986 thousand independent sections in Istanbul and 2 million 262 thousand throughout Turkey. The construction process of 232 thousand 533 independent sections in Istanbul and the project process of 125 thousand continue within the scope of urban transformation works. The construction of a total of 264 thousand independent sections in 81 provinces continues within the framework of urban transformation activities. To further accelerate the transformation process, we have implemented the ‘Half is on Us’ campaign. As of today, we have included 316 thousand independent sections in the ‘Half on Us’ campaign. Within the scope of the campaign, the transformation of 83 thousand independent sections is ongoing and the project and construction works of 233 thousand independent sections are continuing. Today, I have to underline this fact once again: The only solution for the security of Istanbul is urban transformation. Istanbul has no more urgent and more priority agenda than this. “If this happens, Istanbul will be that much stronger. That’s why I want to make this call to all our citizens: Come and take advantage of these campaigns and take action before it’s too late to transform your building. I express once again today that I expect special sensitivity from all our citizens on this issue.”

“WE HAVE BEEN TAKING OUR LIVES WITHOUT CARING ABOUT THE EARTHQUAKE TOURISTS WHO WANT TO MAKE PROFIT FROM THE PAIN”
Erdogan explained that while they were doing these in the field of urban transformation, they were also working with a spirit of full mobilization in the earthquake zone.
Stating that they laid the foundations of earthquake residences within 15 days immediately after the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023, in which more than 53 thousand lives were lost, Erdoğan said, “We delivered the first keys in 45 days. We reconstructed and revitalized our earthquake zone in a very short time with more than 200 thousand personnel in 174 separate project areas, 3 thousand 500 construction sites. We restored 11 provinces with their parks, gardens, infrastructure, We revived it with its bazaars, historical buildings, streets, squares and avenues. We worked hard, ignoring the earthquake tourists who wanted to profit from the pain. ‘The government will be buried under this rubble.’ We gave the best answer to those who expected us to fail by achieving a historical success. Here you saw it too. Last December 27, less than 3 years after the earthquake, we delivered more than 455 thousand houses and workplaces to disaster victims. Thank God, these brothers and sisters are now sitting comfortably in their new homes with their families and loved ones in peace.” He used his expressions.
President Erdoğan said that production, trade, education and social life have regained their vitality with their old rhythm in the cities affected by the earthquake.
Erdoğan said, “May God not test us with such difficult tests again,” and once again commemorated the lives lost in the “Disaster of the Century.”
Erdoğan said, “Again, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our earthquake victims who believed in their state from the very beginning, despite all the pain they experienced. I would like to thank our workers, civil servants and engineers who sacrificed their sweat in the field, TOKİ, our contractor companies, and everyone who contributed to the rise of our cities from the ashes.” he said.
“NONE OF THESE DOES NOT EVEN CARE ABOUT THE MAIN OPPOSITION PARTY”
Erdogan said:
“Even the dreams of the main opposition cannot reach the levels we have reached. They can never go beyond slandering what has been done, slandering those who serve, those who produce business and commerce. There is a deep mental difference between us and the main opposition, just as night and day, black and white are different. We are concerned with doing business, producing work, producing solutions to the problems of our cities. They, on the other hand, seek to siphon off the municipalities and add to their wealth. Our agenda is to set stone upon stone for all our cities, including Istanbul. “There are money towers, baklava boxes filled with euros and million-dollar bribe deals on their agenda.”
Emphasizing that they regard the will of the ballot box in the Local Government Elections and General Elections as the trust of the nation, Erdoğan said, “They see the municipalities as a booty to be plundered. Citizens were suffering in the cities they governed, traffic had become unbearable, and there were disruptions in the most basic services. Promises made in the squares were not kept. None of these even care about the main opposition party.” he said.
“THEY ARE TRYING TO PRODUCE ANTI-REPUBLICAN RISK EVEN FROM OUR MEHTER MARCH”
President Erdoğan continued his words as follows, underlining that the main opposition is disconnected not only from the nation’s agenda but also from its history:
“They lack the historical consciousness to the point of protesting our mehter march, with which our heroic ancestors have enthused the battlefields for centuries. The big men have given up on their work, they are turning their backs on the mehter band consisting of children on Children’s Day. They are trying to create anti-Republic sentiment even from our mehter march by calling it sultanate, by calling it sultanate. It is not funny if you say it is funny, it is not logical if you call it logical. Like in that famous song of the late Ahmet Kaya ‘Any way you look at it, it’s inconsistency, any way you look at it, it’s stupid?’ When we see the main opposition’s disorganized situation, we say, ‘May God give them wisdom.’ Believe me, we can’t do anything other than saying this.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, “We are launching our Social Housing for Rent practice in Istanbul for the first time in Türkiye, and we are establishing the rental system through TOKİ. We will take the first step of the project with 15 thousand social housing for rent.” he said.
In his speech at the “Host Turkey” Istanbul draw ceremony held at the Ataturk Airport National Garden, Erdogan reminded that on October 24, 2025, they commissioned the “Housing Project of the Century”, the largest social housing move in the history of the Republic, and started the mobilization of 500 thousand social housing.
Stating that they have finalized the draws in 80 provinces, which they started on December 29 last year, and that today they will determine the beneficiaries in Istanbul, where they allocated 100 thousand houses within the scope of the project, Erdoğan said:
“We will offer our houses for sale with state guarantee, 10 percent down payment and maturity up to 240 months. Installments will be between 7 thousand 313 liras and 11 thousand liras. With this payment model, our citizens will own houses in a long-term, low installment and safe way. After the draw, we will lay the foundations and deliver our houses to our citizens as soon as possible. In addition, we are launching our Social Housing for Rent application in Istanbul for the first time in Türkiye, “We are establishing the rental system with the help of TOKİ. We will take the first step of the project with 15 thousand social housing rentals. I hope it will be auspicious for our Istanbul and our country.”
Pointing out that the “Housing Project of the Century” is not only a breakthrough limited to housing production, but also the construction of people-oriented and full-fledged living spaces, Erdoğan said, “We are adding a brand new dimension to this project with our neighborhood mansions. In the 500 neighborhood mansions to be built under the coordination of TOKİ, there will be 500 mosques, 500 family health centers, 500 day care homes, 500 handicraft production centers, 500 gyms and “There will be 500 guesthouses. With our neighborhood mansions, we will bring structures that will keep our neighborhood culture alive, protect our values and serve very important functions for our cities, and bring good luck to our cities and our nation.” he said.
President Erdoğan wished that the project would be beneficial and that the beneficiaries would live in these houses with peace, pleasure and pleasure.
NOTES FROM THE PROGRAM
In the program, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum and Mass Housing Administration (TOKİ) President Mustafa Levent Sungur made speeches.
At the ceremony where TOKİ’s promotional film was shown, President Erdoğan prayed after his speech.

Vice President Yılmaz spoke at the 5th Turkish Maritime Summit Gala Dinner
Vice President Yılmaz, in his speech here, said the following: “Dear Minister, esteemed representatives of our maritime industry, valued guests, I greet you with love, respect and affection on behalf of myself and our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. I am very pleased to host you in Istanbul, which brings together continents, civilizations and seaways, at the 5th Maritime Summit held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the entry into force of our Cabotage Law. I say “Welcome, you have brought joy” to all the guests who attended the Summit from different corners of our country. I hope that the 5th Maritime Summit will be successful and create a basis for discussions that enlighten our horizons. Dear participants, yesterday, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the entry into force of our Cabotage Law, we once again commemorated the glorious journey of Turkish maritime from the past to the future. I wish that the Cabotage Day will be beneficial for our Heroic Naval Forces, our maritime industry, our country and our nation. I congratulate the Cabotage Day of our entire nation, especially our sailors. I commemorate with gratitude all those who worked hard to bring Turkish maritime to this day and who paid the price when necessary, and I pray for God’s mercy on the sailors we sent away to eternity.
A HERITAGE IN MARITIME THAT EXTENDS FOR CENTURIES
We are a country that is geographically surrounded by seas on three sides and has given great importance to maritime throughout our history. We are the grandchildren of ancestors who were strong, determined, determined and genius enough to sail their ships from land when necessary. Our maritime adventure, which started with ÇAKA BEY in these lands, has turned into a great epic written with glory and honor in history with the heroic stories of Karamürsel Beys, Piri Reiss, Barbaros, Seydi Ali Reis. From the first ports of the Seljuks to the Mediterranean, to the powerful navy of the Ottoman Empire, which ruled three continents and turned the Mediterranean into a “Turkish lake”, maritime has always had an exceptional place for us. Tersane-i Âmire, where we are meeting with you now, the construction of which started by the order of Sultan Fatih, has an important share in our historical heritage. While Tersane-i Âmire improves Turkish maritime in terms of production, technology and engineering and paves the way for new victories; It has ensured the institutionalization of our maritime acquis with the captains, naval architects, masters and soldiers it has trained. In addition to being one of the important elements of our military, economic, commercial and diplomatic power, the seas have been one of the most powerful opportunities for our nation to carry its civilizational accumulation to different geographies throughout history. Today, this historical heritage gains a stronger meaning with the understanding of the Blue Homeland; It refers to the protection of our sovereign rights in the seas, the development of our maritime capacity and the most effective use of the opportunities offered by our seas. Just as every inch of our homeland has indispensable value for us, our seas are a national value that we must protect, develop and entrust to future generations with the same understanding.
NEW GLOBAL COMPETITION IN THE SEAS
Developments in the world point to a new era in which balances are reshaped in many areas, from global politics to trade routes, from energy corridors to supply chains. In this process where the international system evolves into a multipolar structure, the seas are becoming one of the main areas of economic competition and geostrategic struggle. Today, when approximately 90 percent of world trade is carried out by sea, maritime has become one of the most determining elements of global production, trade and logistics. Surrounded by seas on three sides, with straits connecting the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, and located at the intersection of Europe, Asia and Africa, Türkiye is at the center of this new global picture. Dear guests, our history, our geographical location, and the new picture revealed by global geopolitics shape our perspective on maritime. Achieving all our goals, from export to trade, from tourism to defense and security; It requires us to be strong at sea and in maritime. In the last 23 years, we have seen maritime as one of our strategic priorities and shaped our policies accordingly. We achieved the successes we are proud of today by strengthening our maritime infrastructure, which was behind the level we desired when we took office.
HISTORICAL GROWTH IN PORTS AND FLEET
Türkiye today; It is one of the world’s leading maritime countries with 218 port facilities, 65 marinas, 85 active shipyards, 400 fishing shelters, 181 boat manufacturing and slipyards, 23 ship recycling facilities, 51 pools (11 dry and 40 floating), 144 thousand seafarers and more than 1 million amateur sailors.
Our Turkish-owned maritime fleet ranked 17th with 8.9 million deadweight tons in 2002; As of 2026, it has risen to 11th place, with 2 thousand 234 ships and a capacity of 51.8 million deadweight tons. Our 5 ports, Ambarlı, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, Mersin and Aliağa, are currently among the 100 busiest ports in the world. In 2025, we served 62 thousand 656 ships in our ports. The number of cruise ships calling at our ports increased by 15.1 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 1,375; The number of passengers reached 2.2 million.
CENTER OF ATTRACTION IN YACHT TOURISM
We have made our country a center of attraction in yacht tourism with the new marinas we have built in the last 23 years and the ever-increasing mooring capacity.
We increased the number of marinas, which were 41 in 2002, to 65 by opening our Gazipaşa Marina. We increased our mooring capacity from 8,500 to 26 thousand. Last year, we carried nearly 119 million passengers and 9 million 600 thousand vehicles with our companies operating on cabotage lines. On the other hand, our shipbuilding industry, which employs more than 84 thousand brothers, is in a strong and influential position on a global scale. Our shipbuilding industry, which ranks 7th in the world in ship orders and 10th in tonnage, has risen to second place in the world in mega yacht manufacturing. In the field of ship recycling, we are the 3rd in the world and the leader in Europe. Dear sailor brothers, we have been continuing the SCT-free fuel support we started in 2004 uninterruptedly for 22 years. To date, we have provided a total of 21.8 billion lira of support to our sector. We continued to support our maritime industry with the support of 5.3 billion lira we provided in 2025 alone.
STRONG POSITION IN INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We are constantly expanding our maritime cooperation network internationally. To date, we have signed 65 maritime agreements with 51 countries; Last year, we were elected to the International Maritime Organization Council, of which we have been an uninterrupted member since 1999, for the 14th time with a high percentage of votes. We have been increasing the fees collected from ships passing through our straits without a stopover with the updates we have made since 2022. We will continue to provide these updates each Cabotage Festival. We maintain our uncompromising stance on maritime safety and security, and continue the necessary work for the safe evacuation of our ships stranded due to the war in the Persian Gulf. We expect freedom of navigation to be fully implemented in an environment where the war ends and permanent peace is achieved.
MARITIME VISION IN THE TURKISH CENTURY
Dear participants, our vision for the Türkiye Century; It also expresses the goal of a Türkiye that is stronger on the seas, more competitive in maritime, and has a say on a global scale with its ports, shipyards and merchant fleet. Under the leadership of our President; We will continue to build Türkiye, which resolutely protects its rights and interests in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Black Sea and the Aegean and strengthens its maritime capacity in every field. With the strong cooperation we have established between our public institutions and our private sector and the knowledge, experience and knowledge of our maritime community, we will take our country much further in this field in the coming period.
I believe that the cooperation we will continue to develop in this field with friendly and brotherly countries will produce beneficial results for everyone. With these thoughts, we hope that the 5th Maritime Summit will be beneficial; I would like to thank all members of our Ministry who contributed to the organization of the Summit, especially our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, our valuable speakers who contributed to the program, all representatives of our maritime industry and everyone who worked for the development of Turkish maritime. “I congratulate you once again on your Cabotage Day and greet you with love, respect and affection.”
