AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik: Israel showed its inhumane character once again

Published

on

“All of these are intertwined. It is like anyone’s theory of unified containers. There is no such thing as having one side and not having the other side. What are the reasons for those who have bad intentions and pursue evil aims towards us, the people of the region, the Turks, the Kurds, the Arabs, the Sunnis, the Alevis, the Shiites, the Nusayri, the Druze, all these groups, for the continuation of terrorist organizations here?” We clearly see what provocations they are trying to create and what provocations they are trying to plan. Therefore, we make every effort to keep this entire process within its own security area. The messages given by our President here clearly reveal all the coordinates and principles of the process. The will of the People’s Alliance here is extremely clear. “We will continue to continue our work and activities within this framework.”

“THE TERMINATION STATEMENT MUST BE CONCRETELY FILLED IN”

Çelik made statements and answered questions regarding the Central Executive Board (MYK) Meeting at the party headquarters.

Stating that the National Solidarity, Fraternity and Democracy Commission, which continues to work in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, has shown an approach that provides the necessary basis for the disarmament and disarmament process of the terrorist organization PKK, Çelik said, “The disarmament must continue as an uninterrupted process. The term dissolution must be underlined concretely.” he said.

Çelik pointed out that confirming the disarmament process of the terrorist organization PKK is of key importance and said:

“As long as this situation continues in practice, the laying down of arms and the actual implementation of the termination process, the state will is complete with the instructions of our President, for the steps to be taken in this case, after this implementation is realized and confirmed. In the words of our President and Mr. Bahçeli, the will of the People’s Alliance is complete. The will of the commission in the Parliament is complete within the framework of the work done so far. Laying down the weapons and completing the issue completely “The process of removing it from the agenda must continue uninterruptedly, be actually concluded, and be confirmed by security institutions.”

“THERE IS NO NEGOTIATION ABOUT THE QUALITIES OF THE STATE”

In response to the question regarding the opposition parties’ claims that there are differences of opinion between the AK Party and MHP regarding the legal regulations to be made regarding the commission and the Syria policy, Çelik said, “When the opposition cannot move forward with its own dynamics and theses, it puts its hope in the question ‘Is there a crack within the People’s Alliance?’ or ‘Is there a political contradiction within the People’s Alliance?’ “It depends on situations like this.” made his assessment.

Stating that citizens have a very high level of trust and support in President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli regarding the terror-free Turkey process, Çelik continued as follows:

“The principles we have said from the beginning are the principles of the People’s Alliance. There is no bargaining about the qualities of the state. There is no bargaining about the values of the nation. Our issue and focus is the dissolution and disarmament of the PKK terrorist organization. If the opposition parties think that there will be an opportunity for them to ‘let there be a crack, a contradiction within the People’s Alliance’, there is no way for them to do so. Within the People’s Alliance, there is no way they can make Turkey Century.” There will be no weakening in cooperation and unity in achieving their goals. “This cooperation and unity of power will continue and become stronger with the will of our President and Mr. Bahçeli.”

AK Party Spokesperson Çelik explained that there may be different views among the parties that make up the People’s Alliance due to different political traditions and intellectual values, but they do not allow these to turn into a political rift.

Ömer Çelik said, “If there are different opinions, they will be discussed between our President and Mr. Bahçeli or among the teams they will appoint. We will definitely build a stronger political will there.” he said.

“SDG MUST COMPLY WITH THE MARCH 10 AGREEMENT”

Asked about the meeting of the US Special Representative for Syria and Ambassador to Ankara, Tom Barrack, with the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, which uses the name of SDF in Syria, Çelik said: “If certain views are conveyed to the SDF within the framework of the SDF complying with the March 10 agreement and producing a correct approach towards the ‘One state, one army’ principle in Syria, and if it is said that the SDF should do this within this framework, we welcome these talks positively, but other than that, we welcome these talks.” “If there is an approach, we will not find it positive.” he replied.

Pointing out that the SDF has not taken any steps to fulfill the articles of the March 10 agreement so far, Çelik said, “The agreement should not remain on paper, it should not be the subject of a theoretical exercise. While there is so much chaos, the SDF’s persistence and its attempt to evade the process constitutes an attitude side by side with the agenda of those who want to create instability in the region. There are some covert actions that harm the Kurds, the Turks and other sectarian groups there.” “Unfortunately, it becomes a tool for some proxy approaches.” shared his opinion.

The president of the court kicked İmamoğlu and CHP members out of the courtroom: ‘You cannot act as a clown here’

Published

on

Tension arose at the 61st hearing of the corruption and bribery case at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, where former Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality President Ekrem İmamoğlu from CHP was tried as the “leader of the İmamoğlu Self-motivated Criminal Organization”. After the Istanbul 40th High Criminal Court panel announced that they would finish the defenses on July 9, İmamoğlu tried to negotiate with the president of the court, but could not find what he expected. Speaking at the hearing, İmamoğlu stated to the court president that it seemed impossible for the hearing to end on July 9. The president of the court said that they made an evaluation on this issue with the delegation and said, “We have determined a calendar and we are implementing it. After the defense of İmamoğlu İnşaat General Manager Tuncay Yılmaz, we will continue with Mr. Ekrem and complete it on the 9th. There is no rule that the detained defendants will end in the first hearing. If necessary, we will hold a hearing, but we will close it on the 9th.”

‘YOU ARE INTERVENING FROM YOUR PLACE’
When the defendant İmamoğlu reacted by asking the reason for the date of July 9, the president of the court said, “Mr. Ekrem, do not drag the matter to other places. We have set a calendar and we are implementing it.” The court president said to İmamoğlu, who continued his reaction, “You are constantly intervening by sitting in your seat. I will have to take you out of the courtroom.” As İmamoğlu and the lawyers continued their reactions, the court president decided to remove İmamoğlu from the courtroom on the grounds that he disrupted the order of the hearing. This situation was objected to for a while, and then İmamoğlu and some of the defendants were taken out of the hall accompanied by the gendarmerie.

‘YOU CANNOT BE A CLONGER HERE’
Thereupon, CHP Diyarbakır Deputy Sezgin Tanrıkulu, who was in the audience, called out to the court president, “Review your decision,” while CHP Deputy Suat Özçağdaş, wagging his finger at the court president, said, “I’m asking you! Did you or the bailiff decide to take him out of the courtroom?” he shouted. The presiding judge said, “No one can shout here, you have no right to ask me questions. You cannot engage in any kind of clowning here just because you are a member of parliament. The person who claims to be a member of parliament should also be removed from the courtroom.”
