The launch of the “Let Our Summer School Be Colorful” project organized by the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) was held in Sakarya. Students and citizens showed great interest in the program, which started with songs, hymns and various shows. Speaking at the program, Bilal Erdoğan stated that Türkiye’s future will rise on the shoulders of young people and said, “You will build the Türkiye Century.” Erdoğan said, “You will be successful in your schools, achieve good things in your life and direct the future of our country. The Turkish Century means working hard, being honest, being reliable and setting ambitious goals in every field. We should aim for the best in science, sports, art and business. If we are not strong, there is no other power to protect them. TÜGVA will always be with you. Oppressed people in different parts of the world have expectations from Türkiye. A strong Turkey will be possible with well-educated generations.” he said. Stating that summer schools contribute to equal opportunities in education and play an important role in combating digital addiction, Erdoğan announced that approximately 500 thousand secondary school students are aimed to participate in summer school programs this year.

Speaking at the program, TÜGVA Chairman İbrahim Giriş stated that youth is the greatest power of Türkiye and said, “I believe that this youth will leave its mark on the Turkish Century with its science, morality and determination. One of our brothers in this hall is a candidate to be the engineers, Aziz Sancars, Selçuk Bayraktars of the future. We trust them, we are always with them. Our aim is not only to save the present, but to build a strong future.”

Türkiye’s success story in the field of defense industry continues to be reported in the world media. British Reuters news agency published an analysis of Türkiye’s rapid rise in the world in the field of defense. It was emphasized that Türkiye was dependent on foreign countries in terms of arms production in the past, but today it has become one of the leaders of the market. It was noted that the domestic and national equipment developed by Türkiye has been sold to at least 40 countries. We have been present for centuries in a difficult and strategically important geography for the nation. As we always say, the Republic of Türkiye is not the first state we established on these lands, but our last. The cross-border operation process, from the decision-making phase to the implementation phase, has played a role in confirming Türkiye’s independence. We have made it very clear that we will not lose sight of anything when our national security is at risk. Our Iraq and Syria operations have ushered in a new era in our security paradigm by shattering the glass ceiling placed over our country.

Türkiye has become one of the countries that study the battlefields best. We tried to constantly improve ourselves. We minimized our foreign dependency by strengthening our defense industry. We see very clearly the value of the capacity we have when we look at the crisis that surrounds us. We will build the great and powerful Türkiye, step by step, which finds its meaning in the expression “Turkish Century”. Our source of inspiration is our nation. As long as the Turkish nation exists, our state will continue to exist. We have no choice but to be strong not only for our own survival but also for the peace of friendly and brotherly countries. If we let our guard down, they won’t give us the right to live on these lands.

Our greatest source of strength and inspiration in our holy struggle is our nation. Its state is our beloved nation itself, which will last forever. As long as the Turkish nation exists, our state will continue to exist. For this, our army, intelligence, police, gendarmerie and defense industry will be at the highest level of preparation. But along with these, we will respect the values ​​that make us who we are and make us strong, to which we owe our existence. We will keep the ground solid on which the real material power elements are built. That ground is the eternal brotherhood of our nation.

President Erdoğan was gifted a painting by Abdülhak Molla, one of the important thinkers and poets of the 19th century, with the words “Get ready for war, if you want sulh-u salah”, meaning “If you want peace, be ready for war”, by the Secretary General of the Presidential National Security Council, Governor Okay Memiş.

TERRORISM-FREE Türkiye IS THE STATE VISION

We fought hard and achieved very important gains. We have achieved critical successes both at home and abroad, especially with the strategy of eliminating terrorism at its source, which we put into effect after the July 15 betrayal. In this way, while we waged a multifaceted fight against all terrorist organizations, we also created a security line along the southern borders of our country with cross-border operations. The Terror-free Türkiye process is the name of the strategic state vision for the new century of our country.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SECURITY ISSUE

We attach great importance to data security. When used correctly, artificial intelligence accelerates the decision-making process. Artificial intelligence also carries serious risks. Treating artificial intelligence as a security issue with ethical, legal and social dimensions is an obligation rather than a choice.

Gökhan Cumalı, the driver of CHP Malatya MP Veli Ağbaba, who was arrested last month, made new confessions in his additional statement to the prosecutor’s office. Cumalı stated that although he was officially on the IMM staff, he worked as a chauffeur for the families of Veli Ağbaba and Özgür Özel for years; He explained that after the arrest of businessman Turgut Koç, Ağbaba instructed him to delete the messages.

Ağbaba’s driver of 10 years, Gökhan Cumalı, who was arrested last month within the scope of the investigation, came to the fore with the tension arising from the money traffic of 100 thousand dollars and the missing 5 thousand 200 dollars. Cumalı, who gave additional testimony to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on June 8, explained that a front company was established in his name by Turgut Koç, a businessman known for his closeness to Özgür Özel and Veli Ağbaba, in 2015 in order to win tenders from municipalities and earn money. Stating that Koç received tenders from municipalities through the company, Cumalı mentioned that Ağbaba called him after the arrest of Koç, who was close to Özel and Ağbaba. Cumalı explained that Ağbaba instructed him to delete phone correspondence regarding money traffic in the message he sent via Whatsapp on May 12. However, Cumalı stated that he did not comply with this instruction and did not delete the messages and shared them with the prosecutor’s office.

The leadership conflict between CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Manisa Deputy Özgür Özel was brought to the Turkish Grand National Assembly. During the discussions about who would speak in the CHP group, the parties went out to the Parliament. Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel supporters started to gather in front of the Dikmen Gate, where visitors enter, in the early hours of the morning. Against the slogans of “Traitor Kemal”, Kılıçdaroğlu supporters shouted slogans such as “Truck Driver is Free” and “Fetullah’s dogs cannot intimidate us”. At one point, the masses came face to face and a fight broke out. Özel and his team, who manipulated thousands of people and gathered them at the door of the Parliament, hit the wall of common sense of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş. Kurtulmuş imposed a ban on visitors for security reasons and did not allow “those who would cause trouble” into the Parliament.

Although the atmosphere calmed down after Kılıçdaroğlu took the group meeting to the CHP Headquarters, Özel’s supporters in front of the Parliament waited to enter. However, when permission was not granted, this time Özel went in front of Dikmen Gate and held a “pirate rally”. Özel said, “If you say, ‘I will bring 1000 people and hold a group meeting and gain legitimacy from 1000 people,’ these brave people, representatives of millions in Türkiye, will appear in front of those thousand people and spoil the game.” Özel, instead of making self-criticism in his group speech in the CHP group hall, again preferred to support İmamoğlu. Özel continued to provoke the people in his speech and said, “But if you put the state against the nation, the nation will first defeat that state and then rebuild its democratic state.”
