According to the statement made by the Ministry, Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek met with Tuğaltay’s mother Gülnur Saygı Tuğaltay, her older brother İlker Tuğaltay and the family’s lawyers at the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, Gürlek expressed his condolences to the family and said, “There is a murder here. The state must solve this murder and address it. Especially the death of a young brother in the prime of his life is the responsibility of the state.” he said.
Emphasizing that, as a state, they will solve these murders and that all means will be mobilized, Gürlek said: “If there is a crime, there is definitely a perpetrator. It is our duty to solve it. In these cases, evidence must be collected as soon as possible. Just because it was not collected then, does not mean that it will not be collected now. Every trace, finding and data deemed suspicious should be re-evaluated with today’s technology and conditions.”

“DNA OF THE 12 PEOPLE WHO ENTERED THE BUILDING WILL BE EXAMINED”

Gürlek stated that the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office found it appropriate to make a “fethi grave” for the 4 people who were suspected of Çağla Tuğaltay’s murder and lost their lives, upon the request of the family, and also stated that DNA samples could be taken for new suspects. Gürlek stated that the DNA analysis of the 12 people who entered the building later would be conducted, and that the homicide bureau teams at the time would be interviewed and the investigation authorities would evaluate whether they had any other evidence. Referring to the newly established Unsolved Crimes Investigation Department, Gürlek said:

Minister Gürlek met with Çağla Tuğaltay's family!

“We are not an investigation authority, we do not have the authority to give instructions to judges and prosecutors. Our friends are professionals in this field, our friends in the unit we established, the general manager, the deputy general manager and the head of department, are professionals. We look at it from a different perspective. In order to accelerate and resolve the process, we investigate what kind of technical opportunities we have at all institutions of the state and ensure that the relevant institutions are put at the service of the investigation authorities. It is entirely at the discretion of the investigation authorities to employ the relevant institutions in this regard and appreciate the necessity of the procedures.”

“THOSE WHO DID NOT SAY GOOD LUCK TO ME CAME TO THE PROTEST”

Köksal stated that the CHP administration ignored him and shared some examples he experienced.

“A deputy chairman came to Afyonkarahisar. The provincial chairman suggested visiting me, but he was told ‘there is no need’. After I joined the AK Party, there were deputies who came to protest in front of the municipality. They were there for three days. Those who did not come to visit me even once came to protest.”

“THERE WAS CONSTANT CHAOS AND STRESS IN CHP”

Stating that he constantly experienced political tension instead of producing services during his time in CHP, Köksal stated that this situation also negatively affected the municipality’s work.

“We were chosen to serve the citizens, but before the service, there was a constant atmosphere of chaos and tension. I was experiencing stress every day. I made this decision to serve my country better and to get rid of that chaos, turmoil and unrest.”

No one can move forward without taking Ankara into account

Published

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party’s Group Meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly:

Türkiye, in terms of the NATO Summit that will be held in Ankara and which we are hosting; It will bring the past, present and possible future of the alliance to a magnificent synthesis and will play a leading role in reshaping the future of the alliance. The NATO Summit is an important activity that will show the reflection of Türkiye’s geopolitical importance, its glorious army equipped with effective and deterrent power, its world-exemplary defense industry, and its diplomatic weight, which leaves behind an unbreakable knot and an obstacle that cannot be overcome, on the world stage. The state mind, strengthened by the People’s Alliance, will once again show itself at this summit with its strategic will that reads the crises, sees the threats, weighs the opportunities and shouts Türkiye’s justified theses to the world. However, it is necessary to say it clearly without twisting the words. NATO is neither a bill of allegiance for Türkiye nor a command center to be obeyed unconditionally. Our future and national survival horizon, centered in Ankara, is above all alliances that derive their resources from outside. NATO is an alliance born of security needs and defense necessities. The reason for the existence of this alliance is; mutual respect, equal treatment, equitable burden sharing and honesty in threat perception.

Since 1952, Türkiye has given NATO not only its seas, ports, bases and geopolitical location; He also brought in all the subtleties of the art of combat dating back to Mete Khan, the three thousand years of deep-rooted military tradition sealed with the blood of the Mehmetçik, and the ancient state order and decency. The oldest, strongest and most effective pillar of this great military memory is the Turkish Land Forces.

The Turkish army, from our historical sovereignty in the Straits, which protects the lock of the Black Sea, to our presence in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Sea of Islands; From Aksaz to Incirlik, to our strategic base and port ecosystem, it is the geopolitical backbone that keeps NATO’s regional plans alive and prevents them from remaining on paper. Türkiye is the main lever that keeps the Southeastern wing of the alliance afloat on the NATO map.

As Türkiye sits at the NATO table, it is not with empty files behind it or with an embarrassment and helplessness that seeks approval for its every word and step; It stands with a tremendous record of honor, every line of which is woven with martyrdom and veteran status. Trying to move forward within NATO and on behalf of the alliance without taking the capital Ankara into account is like closing your eyes and moving forward on slippery ground. Any equation that excludes the centuries-old experience of the Turkish army, the production power of the Turkish defense industry that astounds the world, and the unshakable geopolitical weight of Türkiye is doomed to remain incomplete and collapse. It is a state that ensures stability in the ring of fire where Türkiye’s crisis lines intersect and crushes threats within its borders. Türkiye’s presence at sea is of vital importance not only for border security, but also for maintaining regional peace, the security of global energy routes and NATO’s deterrence capacity.

Bahçeli’s ring at the group meeting attracted attention.

MILITARY HOSPITALS SHOULD BE REOPENED

The issue of reopening military hospitals and integrating them into the army is of vital importance. Because military medicine is a completely separate and special field that includes the duty conditions of the military climate, operational psychology, military discipline order and dispatch chain. An army of specialized military physicians is a necessity. The sacred GATA tradition is the health mind itself, steeled under war conditions. Restructuring of military hospitals is a matter of national survival.

ZIONIST BRUTALITY DOES NOT RECOGNIZE CONSENT

NETANYAHU and his gang of hitmen recklessly expose their teeth to the established negotiation ground and consider it a skill to resist agreements that aim and prioritize peace. The spear no longer fits in the sack. Killer Israel is an imperialist colonial mechanism that thrives on the blood of the oppressed. The bombs of Zionist brutality, which do not recognize agreement, speak brutally on the field.

We do not allow the politics of discord – Last Minute News

Published

on

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan briefly said the following in his speech at the cabinet meeting that lasted 1.5 hours:

OUR SURNAME IS THE REPUBLIC OF Türkiye: We are a team that does politics around the common values of the nation, not in areas of conflict, tension and fight. Whatever our name is, our surname is the Republic of Türkiye. Since the first day we took over the responsibility of governing Türkiye, we have never separated any of our people from each other. We especially took care of our Alevi lives very closely and sincerely. We have implemented reforms that have never been taken before in the history of the Republic, or have never even been on the agenda.

POLITICS CANNOT BE DONE BY PURSUING EXPLOITATION: Politics is done both to find solutions to the nation’s problems, to unite and integrate the nation, and to increase the commons. Politics cannot be done by pitting people against each other, dividing our people, and seeking exploitation to score goals against their opponents in the power struggle within the party. It is extremely wrong that the conflict within the main opposition party is gradually evolving from a reasonable ground to a logic of “fists do not count in a fight”. It is a much bigger mistake that our Alevi lives are wanted to be used in this.

THE POLITICS OF DISSENT HAS ONLY DAMAGED THE COUNTRY: The best thing that the main opposition party, which is the architect of the pain experienced in the past, can do for the country on this issue is to come to terms with their bad record, if they really have the courage. No one should engage in politics based on the sensitivity of our Alevi citizens, and especially should not resort to exploitation. The politics of discord has only harmed this country in the past. The policy of polarization has caused great pain to this nation. We will not tolerate the destruction, injury or weakening of the thousand-year-old brotherhood, and we will neither encourage nor permit such a policy.

EMPLOYMENT OF 32 MILLION 463 THOUSAND PEOPLE: Turkish Statistical Institute announced the labor force statistics for May. The unemployment rate remained at the same level as the previous month at 8.2 percent in May. While the unemployment rate decreased by 0.2 points compared to the same month last year, this rate reached 0.7 points among young people. The number of employed people increased by 285 thousand people compared to the previous month and reached 32 million 463 thousand people. We find it valuable that the unemployment rate has been in single digits for 37 months, at a time when the world is experiencing a “crisis storm”.

DIFFERENCE IN MENTALITY AND VISION: Our Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay was elected as the President of the World Union of Municipalities. I believe that this success will further increase Türkiye’s international visibility. While the opposition municipalities come to the fore with their money towers, baklava boxes, and bribe deals worth millions of euros, it is admirable that our municipalities come to the fore with international successes, and is a very important indicator that reveals the difference in mentality and vision.

SUPPORT TO VENEZUELA

We support the friendly Venezuelan people with all our means. Under the coordination of AFAD and in cooperation with our Ministry of National Defense, we quickly dispatched our two military transport aircraft to the disaster area. Our 75 personnel started their work in Venezuela with 5 search and rescue vehicles and 6 search and rescue dogs.

WE ARE NOT LEAVING ISTANBUL TO ITS FATE

We continue to improve Istanbul’s transportation infrastructure. Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Halkalı Metro Project, which has 16 stations and a length of 69 kilometers, is one of them. We put one of the longest metro lines, not only in Türkiye but in the world, at the service of Istanbul and our country. While the project will save 117 million hours of time in 25 years, it will contribute 953 million euros to our economy.

THERE IS NO GENOCIDE IN OUR HISTORY

We opened our doors to those who took refuge in our country. We do not take into account the slanders about our country by the murder network, which has the blood of 73 thousand innocent Gazans, mostly children and women, on their hands. There is neither genocide, massacre, oppression, or colonialism in our history. In our thousands of years of glorious history, there is only justice and mercy. Those who slander Türkiye and the Turkish nation to cover up their barbarism in Gaza know this best.

WE ARE READY FOR ANY SCENARIO

The 32-year struggle is the story of how the work and service policy in our country was carried out by overcoming obstacles. When we launched the TÜRKSAT 3-A satellite into space in 2008, some people were teasing us again in an arrogant manner. We are currently one of the 11 countries that can produce their own communications satellite. We are the 11th largest country in the world in defense industry exports. More than 50 warships are manufactured in our shipyards. We prepare ourselves for all kinds of scenarios.

THE GUEST OF THE COMPLEX IS THE EU DELEGATION

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, the EU Commission Member Responsible for Enlargement Marta Kos and the Member Responsible for Internal Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner at the Social Complex. Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran and Chief Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the President Akif Çağatay Kılıç also attended the meeting. Later, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan had a meeting with the EU delegation. In his post about the meeting, Fidan said, “During the meetings, we discussed all current developments in the context of Türkiye-EU relations, from foreign policy to connectivity, from trade to migration and visa issues.”

Farmer included the following statements in his statement:

“As our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, we do not send back any of our Syrian brothers by force. We are based on voluntary, safe, honorable and regular returns, and we welcome the acceleration of returns as stability strengthens in Syria. We support this process, which is of great importance for Syria’s recovery, and we mobilize all our means to facilitate returns, especially the infrastructure works implemented in the northern regions.

We expressed our expectation to our Syrian counterparts to develop supportive, facilitative and encouraging policies for our returning brothers and sisters, and to accelerate the return and adaptation processes by resolving the problems especially in the field of security and shelter. The stability, security and territorial integrity of Syria are of great importance not only for the brotherly Syrian people, but also for the future of our region. As Türkiye, we will continue our sincere and constructive support for our neighbor Syria to regain peace, for the strengthening of state institutions, and for our Syrian brothers to live safely in their own land. “I hope that the cooperation we will strengthen will be beneficial for the common future of our countries and our region.”
