Minister Kacır: We are establishing the world's largest entrepreneurship center in Istanbul

’95 PERCENT OF THE PRODUCTS EXPORTED BY Türkiye CONSIST OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS’

Pointing out that 95 percent of Türkiye’s exported products consist of industrial products, Minister Kacır said, “If we can talk about export success today, there is a higher value-added production success of the industry behind it. 95 percent of the products exported by Türkiye consist of industrial products. The success achieved in all sectors of our industry, from automotive to machinery, from chemistry to food industry, has an enormous share in our ability to increase exports from 36 billion dollars to 274 billion dollars. Therefore, in fact, this is an ecosystem issue, a network.” “Of course, one of the most important elements of this is human resources. In order to make progress in the field of research and development, you must first invest in your human capital. Increasing Türkiye’s R&D human resources from 29 thousand to 311 thousand in 23 years is actually the most fundamental element that motivates and makes this whole success story possible.”

Minister Kacır: We are establishing the world's largest entrepreneurship center in Istanbul

‘TODAY, NEARLY 8,700 COMPANIES ARE CONDUCTING RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION IN Türkiye’S TECHNOPARKS’

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır said, “We increased the number of technoparks from 2 to 114. While only 56 companies were operating in our technoparks 23 years ago, today nearly 8,700 companies are doing research, development and innovation in Türkiye’s technoparks. Today, especially in the gaming industry, which is the main focus of this center, which has brought us together today, a few young people came together and founded it, and 20-30 young people are currently working in it. Technology startups that are still in the early stages of their business life can reach a billion dollar valuation. The more Turcorns we have, the stronger our entire ecosystem will become, with dozens and hundreds of startups to be born from each of them. With this understanding, we have implemented the Turcorn 100 program and are currently trying to grow our 39 technology startups with tailor-made supports to reach a billion dollar valuation. We have also taken steps to ensure that the private sector leads especially TEKMERs in this journey. “TEKMERs have become a complementary element of technoparks and R&D design centers in our enterprise ecosystem. We created the Go Enterprise Office model to standardize the supports and infrastructures we offer to the field of entrepreneurship in Türkiye, and our goal is to have our enterprise offices in all 81 cities this year.”

The annual venture capital investment volume in Türkiye has reached 11 times the size of the previous 5 years and 22 times the size of the previous 5 years. We will grow this further. Türkiye Tech Visa With this program, we have facilitated the residence and working processes of technology startups and individuals working in these companies in Türkiye, which previously took more than 6 months. In just 2 weeks, we can offer work and residence permits to the human resources that will work in the startups in this ecosystem. With this program, nearly 5 thousand technology developers have moved to Turkey so far; they are now continuing their work in Turkey. “We believe that this race will offer significant advantages for Türkiye,” he said.

“Our brotherhood with Syria is unlike anything else. We are not talking about brotherhood in words, protocol or diplomacy. We truly feel at home here. We feel like we are in a town as close as if we left Istanbul to Bursa. We feel the same feeling when we leave Istanbul and go to Skopje. We feel it when we leave Istanbul and go to Sarajevo. We leave Istanbul to Konya, from Istanbul to Samarkand, Bukhara, We feel it when we go to Baku. Because we have a geography of hearts that others cannot understand. That’s why we want to know whether a world war will break out today. Where else will genocide continue? We believe that in this dark world, where the ongoing wars, the ongoing persecutions, the ongoing genocides will end, it is still possible, and that humanity will prevail with God’s grace.” Stating that the International Democratic Union is a union of people who keep the torch of hearts and the light of conversation bright, Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is one of the central countries of the world.

For this reason, the International Democratic Union is only about the Turks in the world.” It is not an organization of the diaspora. It is also the only non-governmental organization in the world that will stand by our entire heartland, encourage them, organize, support and encourage them to get better education, to be more effective in business and to rise to higher positions in the politics of the countries they live in. Therefore, the International Democratic Union has a very big mission. This mission does not only concern Türkiye. “It concerns.”
