Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu gave important messages to young people in Bitlis, where he came to participate in various programs. Speaking at the “1st International Health and Medical Sciences Congress” organized by Bitlis Eren University, Memişoğlu called on young people not to lose their idealism, dedication and love for humanity. Emphasizing that Türkiye is the representative of the civilization of goodness and peace, Memişoğlu said, “Never lose your idealism, dedication and love for humanity.”

As the side of good, we need to bring our civilization back to a time when the world has an active say and cannot do evil or do evil today. That’s why this should be your main goal, young people.”

Minister Memişoğlu said, “I know that today you encounter many parameters in the internet world and social media. But do not forget this. Life is a pleasant voice. We were young like you. You leave a pleasant voice to this world. We are talking about a temporary world. We are talking about a worldly life that has an end, whose end is certain. “WE HAVE DONE INCREDIBLE WORK IN HEALTH”

Minister Memişoğlu also mentioned the investments made in health and continued his words as follows: “We have really done incredible things in health in the last 25 years. Look, while there were 365 patient beds in Bitlis alone, most of which were the ward system, the old system, today we have 1065 patient beds. And we have access to health where everyone can receive health care at least 12 times a year. But we need to make it better. We need to do something else. We need to take care of our body and our health and stay healthy.” Therefore, what do we say? Stay away from addiction, do not smoke, be careful about your diet, stay healthy. First of all, we want you to stay healthy. And Turkey has the manpower to produce health technology and knowledge. No matter how much financial income you have, if your human capital is not strong, it will be temporary. Our greatest chance is that Türkiye’s healthcare workforce is well-trained and dedicated. We have seen this both in Covid and in the earthquake. That is why we are trying to improve the quality of this human capital. We want our people, our students, to be educated well in the future. That is why we, as faculty members, are ready to cooperate with any Faculty of Medicine whose quality is under development.”

At the end of his speech, Minister Memişoğlu said, “As the Minister of Health, I want you to stay healthy. I want you to act together. I wish God bless those who founded this university and those who organized this conference. I have really encountered a different face of Bitlis. 203 PRODUCTS WERE DISPLAYED FOR THE FIRST TIME AT SAHA 2026

Thank God, we are proud to crown our 5th fair this year with new records, new agreements and new collaborations. A total of 1763 companies, 1500 domestic and 263 foreign, participated in SAHA 2026. At the fair, 203 products that impress with their new features were showcased for the first time. 192 official delegations and 108 procurement delegations had the opportunity to establish direct contact with our sector. A total business volume of 8 billion dollars was reached with 182 agreements signed. 6 billion dollars of this figure consisted of direct export-oriented agreements. When we look at the whole picture, the view we encounter is exactly this: The Turkish defense industry has now become a popular, reliable, carefully monitored and preferred ecosystem not only in its region but also on a global scale.
