Emphasizing that today they carried out the mass opening of a total of 38 projects and the groundbreaking of two projects, Erdoğan said:

“We are proud to put these works, whose total investment value exceeds 3 billion 84 million liras, at the service of our fellow citizens of Rize. I would like to briefly list them as a summary. We opened the highway connection of Isırlık Nature Park, the Isırlık Dağbaşı connection road. We renewed the thermal facilities of Ayder Plateau, which hosts millions of visitors every year. We made the area arrangements of Hemşin Waterfalls Nature Park. We have completed the channel concreting and rock barrier construction of Çat Valley and Palovit Waterfall. We have completed the sewage, road and concreting works of many neighborhoods in Güneysu, İyidere and central districts. We completed the drinking water transmission and network lines and the Formulaz Track in Tunca and Muradiye and opened it for use. “Good luck.”

EDUCATION PROJECTS

Erdoğan stated that they brought the Faculty of Health Sciences into the university with its classrooms, laboratories, library, academic and administrative offices, and opened the doors of a total of 6 educational institutions to students in Rize center, Güneysu, Ardeşen and Derepazarı.

Explaining that they put into service two student dormitories in Dosma with a capacity of 500 people and one in Çayeli with a capacity of 372 people, and that they put the Ekrem Orhon Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School practice hotel into service for the city, Erdoğan continued as follows:

“We brought together Rize İsmail Kahraman Cultural Center and Çayeli Burhan Karal Youth Center with our brothers from Rize. I hope these will bring good luck, especially to our youth. We moved our Çayeli and İkizdere district police headquarters to new service buildings. We completed the construction of our Kaptanpaşa Police Station Command. In Pazar district, our Regional Traffic Inspection Headquarters and Coast Guard Station Command’s Yaltkaya and Doğanay village mosques in Hemşin are repaired. and we completed the restoration work. We completed and put into service a mosque in Güneysu, the Ensar Mosque in Ardeşen, and our Quran course for 4-6 year olds. We will soon lay the foundations of the Rize National Garden Mosque and our Ardeşen Quran course together. “May these projects be beneficial and blessed to our city.”

“OUR RIZE WILL BE ONE OF THE LEADING CITIES IN HEALTH”

Erdoğan stated that health is the most important issue.

Stating that they have invested 7 billion 211 million lira in the field of health in Rize in 23 years, Erdoğan said:

“We have put a total of 31 health facilities and service buildings with a capacity of 911 beds at the service of our Rize brothers. The construction of 3 health facilities with a capacity of 1203 beds with an investment value of 22 billion continues. 48 percent of our 1053-bed Rize City Hospital, 92 percent of our 100-bed Güneşli State Hospital, and 40 percent of our 50-bed Çayeli State Hospital have been completed. At the end of 2026 Our Rize is in good health with the city hospital that will be put into service It will be one of the pioneer cities. I would like to wholeheartedly thank our ministries, municipalities, institutions and philanthropists who contributed to all these investments. “As long as our Lord gives us life and strength, we will work tirelessly for Rize and our 81 provinces, for Türkiye and for humanity.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, “Everywhere we went, in every meeting we attended, we became the voice of the oppressed without hesitation from anyone.” he said.

Stating that they are rapidly continuing their investments in Turkey while also making diplomatic moves abroad, Erdoğan said, “We are increasing Türkiye’s reputation and weight in the international arena. We proudly represent our country and nation at important summits attended by world leaders. We resolutely defend the rights, laws and interests of the Turkish nation.” he said.

Emphasizing that they courageously brought the tragedies that the so-called civilized countries remained silent and unresponsive to the agenda of humanity, President Erdoğan continued as follows:

“We did this at the Shanghai Organization of Cooperation Summit, the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the United Nations General Assembly. We did this again at the Meeting of the Organization of Turkic States the other day. We have been the voice of the oppressed without hesitation wherever we go, in every meeting we have been to. Do you know why? Because we are the children of this land. Just as Rize is on the side of what is right and what is right, how Rize is on the side of conscience, patriotism, and dignified stance.” If he is with us, we are always with the oppressed and the victims. As a state and government, we stand tall against the oppressors with the strength we receive from Rize and the inspiration we receive from you.

Yesterday, we received good news from Egypt that made all of us happy, all Muslims and even all conscientious people. An agreement was reached in the talks between Hamas and the Israeli government. For the first time in 2 years, faces smiled in Gaza. People took to the streets with joy, not fear. The happiness of our Palestinian brothers has made us happy, too. The smiles on the faces of Gaza children warmed our hearts, too. Especially seeing our Gazan brothers prostrate in gratitude took us to a very different world of emotions. We are very pleased that Gaza will breathe again after 2 years of oppression. “We are one of the countries that have made the biggest contribution to this process since the first day.”

“WE HAVE NO DESIRE OTHER THAN PEACE, STABILITY AND PEACE TO PREVAIL IN OUR REGION”

Reminding that the main agenda of the New York and Washington contacts was to stop the bloodshed in Gaza, President Erdoğan said that they had a very productive and sincere meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Stating that he sent MİT President İbrahim Kalın to Doha and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, President Erdoğan said, “We had comprehensive meetings with Hamas, we met with brother countries in the region, especially Qatar and Egypt. In other words, we did everything we could to ensure peace, peace and trust come to Gaza as soon as possible.” he said.

Emphasizing that they mobilized intelligence, relevant diplomats and institutions to ensure that not a single innocent person dies, Erdoğan said:

“As a result, the agreement was signed and the doors to permanent peace in Gaza were opened. Despite all the difficulties, we find this very important because we say, ‘No more bloodshed.’ we say. We say, ‘Children should not die of hunger.’ we say. We say, ‘Palestinian mothers should not wrap their children’s white shrouds.’ we say. Whatever we do, we do it for this reason alone. We have no other desire than peace, stability and the establishment of peace in our region. The important thing from now on is to implement the agreement to the letter. Hopefully, we will take responsibility during the implementation process. We will quickly deliver the humanitarian aid on our ships waiting in Egypt’s El-Arish Port to Gaza. The more aid we can deliver to the people of Gaza before the weather gets cold, the better job we will have done.

Of course, we know Israel’s poor record of breaking promises. They broke the promises they made with excuses and unfortunately betrayed the signatures they signed. We also strive to take the necessary precautions to prevent them from following the same wrong path again. After 2 years of heavy bombardment, there is great destruction and debris in Gaza. Hopefully, we will do our part in removing these and rebuilding Gaza. I would like to underline and say here that the cost of returning to an environment of genocide will be very heavy. Our region, especially Gaza, is now saturated with blood, massacres and tears. Opportunity should be given for peace. Sabotage should be avoided.”

Stating that Türkiye has always stood by the people of Gaza during the struggle and negotiation processes and that it will continue to support the Palestinians with all its means, Erdoğan said, “I respectfully salute my Gazan brothers who have been resisting oppression with their teeth and nails for 2 years. I wish God’s mercy on all our brothers who were martyred in the Gaza resistance and a speedy recovery to our wounded brothers.” he said.

“The mud he threw at us came back, walked around, and shot himself again”

Stating that they sadly witnessed the main opposition’s “lack of vision” in this process, President Erdoğan said: “After the October 7 incident, Hamas was called a ‘terrorist organization’ for a long time.” they said. They smeared the Palestinian resistance with very ugly expressions. When they did not get what they expected from the places where they said hello, they immediately changed their tune. “They targeted our government and our person with the slander of people who escaped abroad and became pawns of foreign intelligence organizations.” he said.

Erdoğan stated that they have proven with information and documents that these are lies and made the following statements:

“But despite this, unfortunately, they continued their assassination of reputation. You, too, heard the delusions of the CHP Chairman before and after our trip to America. Like a fox calling the grape it cannot reach ‘cow’, he denigrates and manipulates the visit by producing a new excuse every day. He said for days that we did not talk about Gaza in America. He claimed that we did not protect Gaza and the Palestinian cause. So, what happened in the end? What did he throw at us? The mud turned and wandered, and he shot himself again. Yesterday’s agreement showed very clearly what the truth is. Everyone, including Hamas and our Palestinian brothers, appreciated and accepted Türkiye’s efforts and expressed their gratitude to our country. Now I’m asking here, let’s leave us aside, doesn’t the CHP Chairman owe an apology to the Government of the Republic of Turkey? Doesn’t Mr. Ozel owe an apology to our civil servants who have been working day and night for weeks to ensure a ceasefire? high middle Doesn’t he owe an apology to our nation for his unfounded allegations?

Stating that he believes that the nation will appreciate this in the best way possible, Erdoğan said: “Unfortunately, Mr. Özel cannot get out of the control of certain political centers instead of doing independent politics by doing justice to his name. He makes such grave mistakes because he cannot break the chains. He uses a style that does not suit the leader of Türkiye’s main opposition party. Look, I am telling you clearly, we do not want anyone to fall into such a situation, even if they are our rivals, but if he does not change his path and his comrades, he will make more mistakes and make more mistakes.” He becomes very embarrassed and puts himself in a more difficult situation. “I would like to remind Mr. Özel once again from Rize that he should not believe everything whispered in his ear.” he said.

Erdoğan stated that their job is to serve 86 million citizens and said:

“We have always worked, strived and hustled with this sensitivity for 23 years. With your support and prayers, we have taken Türkiye to a very different league. Now, we have the goal of the Turkey Century and the Terrorism-Free Turkey process, which is an important part of it. Hopefully, we will achieve both of our goals safely. I pray that God will help us. I wish all the works and investments we have opened will be beneficial. I would like to thank our ministries that brought these investments to our Rize. I congratulate the Governorship, Special Provincial Administration and our municipalities.”

The president of the court kicked İmamoğlu and CHP members out of the courtroom: ‘You cannot act as a clown here’

Published

on

Tension arose at the 61st hearing of the corruption and bribery case at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, where former Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality President Ekrem İmamoğlu from CHP was tried as the “leader of the İmamoğlu Self-motivated Criminal Organization”. After the Istanbul 40th High Criminal Court panel announced that they would finish the defenses on July 9, İmamoğlu tried to negotiate with the president of the court, but could not find what he expected. Speaking at the hearing, İmamoğlu stated to the court president that it seemed impossible for the hearing to end on July 9. The president of the court said that they made an evaluation on this issue with the delegation and said, “We have determined a calendar and we are implementing it. After the defense of İmamoğlu İnşaat General Manager Tuncay Yılmaz, we will continue with Mr. Ekrem and complete it on the 9th. There is no rule that the detained defendants will end in the first hearing. If necessary, we will hold a hearing, but we will close it on the 9th.”

‘YOU ARE INTERVENING FROM YOUR PLACE’
When the defendant İmamoğlu reacted by asking the reason for the date of July 9, the president of the court said, “Mr. Ekrem, do not drag the matter to other places. We have set a calendar and we are implementing it.” The court president said to İmamoğlu, who continued his reaction, “You are constantly intervening by sitting in your seat. I will have to take you out of the courtroom.” As İmamoğlu and the lawyers continued their reactions, the court president decided to remove İmamoğlu from the courtroom on the grounds that he disrupted the order of the hearing. This situation was objected to for a while, and then İmamoğlu and some of the defendants were taken out of the hall accompanied by the gendarmerie.

‘YOU CANNOT BE A CLONGER HERE’
Thereupon, CHP Diyarbakır Deputy Sezgin Tanrıkulu, who was in the audience, called out to the court president, “Review your decision,” while CHP Deputy Suat Özçağdaş, wagging his finger at the court president, said, “I’m asking you! Did you or the bailiff decide to take him out of the courtroom?” he shouted. The presiding judge said, “No one can shout here, you have no right to ask me questions. You cannot engage in any kind of clowning here just because you are a member of parliament. The person who claims to be a member of parliament should also be removed from the courtroom.”
