COMPANIES WERE OPENED ABROAD

E-commerce sites were opened through companies established abroad to launder illegal betting money. Fake commercial transactions were carried out with cryptocurrencies on these platforms. It was understood that the crypto money transferred here was laundered by sending it to different company accounts using international money transfer methods.

OPERATION PAYMIX-3: 38 DETENTION DECISIONS

As the investigation deepened, the Paymix-3 operation button was pressed in the morning. Within the scope of the operation, detention orders were issued for a total of 38 suspects, including 1 in prison, 15 abroad and 22 in the country.

ASSETS WERE SEIZED

26 vehicles, 18 residences, 18 fields/gardens, 3 workplaces and 535 bank and cryptocurrency accounts belonging to the suspects were seized. A red notice process has been initiated for suspects abroad.

Within the scope of the operation, the technical infrastructures of illegal betting sites were also targeted. While the servers within the company were disabled, the activities of many illegal betting sites were stopped.
